1st Direct Glaziers

Based in Colchester, 1st Direct Glaziers are local glaziers providing a broad selection of glazing, window, and door services. Describing themselves as Essex same-day emergency glaziers, they handle urgent situations with emergency callouts, emergency glazing, and emergency boarding up, alongside standard commercial glazing and work as glass suppliers.

Their window solutions cover window installation, replacement windows, and window repairs, including misty window replacement and double glazing repair. They work with a wide variety of styles and materials, installing and servicing aluminium windows, UPVC windows, casement windows, sash windows, Edwardian windows, Victorian windows, and leaded lights and windows, as well as sash windows with secondary glazing. They also supply double glazing materials and fit rooflights, skylights, toughened glass, and double glazed windows.

In addition to window work, they undertake door fitting, door repairs, and replacement doors, working across aluminium doors, UPVC doors, bifold doors, sliding doors, patio doors, porch doors, and security doors. Their team also fits double glazed porches, carries out conservatory repairs, installs security locks, and fits both cat flaps and dog flaps into glass.
