Had a leaking boiler making strange noises, I rang Joe he was out in a couple of hours, made the boiler safe back the next morning to repair, polite friendly left everything tidy. Also a reasonable price for repair. Definitely recommend & will use again 😁

I contacted Joe on Boxing Day. As my Boiler went off on Xmas Day, after a brief conversation about what I needed he said he could come and complete a new installation on the 29th. Joe and his team were on time, they worked quickly and cleanly, leaving me with a brand new Condensing Boiler a bit bigger than I need to future proof renovations at a really competitive price. I’ve already contacted him to book in my annual service. Brilliant service and would 100% recommend.

Joe is the ultimate professional. Good communication and came out as promised to a leak which had caused damage. Although it wasn't a straight forward job, he made sure it was completed quickly and to the highest standard. Trustworthy, honest, reliable and an all-round lovely, decent guy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Reliable, skilled tradesmen like Joe aren't easy to find anymore.

Joe and his team did an excellent job of installing a new central heating system & shower. Really prompt, great communication and exceptionally tidy at the end of the day. Amazing local company / attention to detail / high standard work We had a boiler failure and Joseph (Gildersome Gas) made an evening appointment to check / make everything safe. We had a brief discussion and Joseph subsequently provided us with a very fair quote. We accepted and a few days later Joseph and Matt (sorry if I got that wrong) arrived to install. They are clearly experts in their field - gas, electrics, plumbing, etc. They’re also both lovely people who have real pride in everything they do. Their work was exceptional from start to finish. We should all be supporting local business wherever possible (assuming they’re good!), I could not recommend Gildersome Gas more highly. We hope to get them back to fit a new bathroom, happy to wait until they’re available - it’s reassuring to know their services are in demand. Once you find a company like Gildersome Gas you learn patience - you can’t rush excellence :)

Had a broken boiler messaged Joe on a Sunday afternoon and he replied within an hour and came round to put a full new one in on Monday morning. Great service

Great service. After coming home and spending the night with no heating or hot water I called Gildersome Gas as around 10:00 am and had a working system again before 11:00, what more can you ask for?

Gildersome Gas came to our rescue at short notice and fitted us a new boiler. They were efficient tidy friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had hot water and heating after being let down massively by a national company. These guys are top notch. I had they come in to do a service on my very old boiler. It had some major faults so we had them come back to replace it. The process of replacing the old boiler went very smoothly and as of this writing it works very well. Joseph and the guys he works with were always very polite and willing to explain everything they were doing. Their work was thorough and complete and they cleaned up very well at the end. I am happy to recommend them and would use them again. If you like to talk, then they are great conversationalists too!

I recently had a new en-suite fitted by the guys and Gildersome Gas, which involved installing new stud walls before then fitting the en-suite and I have to say that they were professional from the outset and the workmanship is second to none. From my very first engagement right to the completion of the project the whole team were very accommodating, especially with the numerous changes/additions/removals I introduced throughout, no challenge was too great. The advise was honest and thorough… I cannot not recommend these guys enough, they treat your home like its their own cleaning every day as they go and taking extra are as they go about their work. 5 Stars!

I just want to say a massive thank you to all the team. The kindness they showed towards me and being so understanding of my illness was wonderful and something I really appreciate. I am just sorry I couldn't have looked after them better while they were here. The team have single handedly restored our faith in tradespeople after our disastrous kitchen problems last year. I love the new ensuite and you would never tell that they had to overcome so many issues with our bathroom layout, given the quality of the work. Matthew and Shane have treated us and our home with such respect and had such pride in the company and their work it really has been a pleasure having them around. We will let you know when we have decorated so you can come and take some photos, I just hope we can get close to your high standards! Thank you once again for a fantastic job.

Absolutely fantastic service from the day Joe, Matt and Shane walked in to start the job, to the day they finished. Nothing was too much trouble and they wanted everything to be perfect as much as we did. They were a pleasure to have around the house and will be using again for various other jobs. Such polite and efficient workers and everything was left clean at the end of each day, would recommend to anybody wanting a professional job done, 5 stars given for a 5 star job well done.

Joe and his team recently renovated our bathroom. They removed all the existing bathroom furniture and tiles and updated my entire bathroom. They worked closely with me and were happy to implement any ideas I had in order to provide me with a great bathroom. The service was fantastic from start to finish, they cleaned the working areas each evening so it was unnoticeable that work was being done in the house. The finished result was brilliant! We absolutely love the bathroom and cannot thank Joe and his team enough for the amazing job they did. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

So after a botched DIY radiator install. We call these guys after a neighbour recomended them. I have to say they came out on a sat within a few hours of calling them, they got the job done in around an hour too a superb finish and no mess.

Joe serviced our gas fire, cleaned the unit, checked the chimney flow and gas fittings and supply, attention to detail was exceptional. Clean and tidy work, each concern (all minor thankfully) explained; and he phoned before he arrived to check if still convenient. Can't ask for anything more.

I would highly recommend Joe, he managed to squeeze in fitting our new gas hob at very short notice due to poor planing on our part. He was also very pleasant and polite which is always nice!

A very well deserved 5 star review here . After what seems like forever of having issue after issue with my current heating system and spending lots of money on so called professional plumbers only to be left with more issues than I started with and a cold house still I’m so glad I chased up recommendations and had Joe pop round and diagnosed what was in reality a very easy fix but had somehow baffled others . I now have a wonderfully warm house . Joe talked me through my system in basic terms so I understood where I had been wasting money and can save it going forward . On top on this he turned up on time was incredibly polite . Not only will I be using him again for all my plumbing needs but would 100% recommend him

Top marks for service! Joe came to check out our faulty combi boiler within an hour of messaging. He diagnosed the problem and managed to source the required part the next day. He also carried out a performance test afterwards. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Joe!! We were having problems with our boiler, he came to see what was wrong with it. Turns out it was highly dangerous, and he returned the following day to replace it, staying late to make sure the job was finished. He is professional and clean working, I couldn’t have found anyone better for the job!

Ive had a couple of jobs done by Joseph and find him to be very reliable, great at his job and neat and tidy too. We've had radiators fitted, leaks fixed and toilet fixed. All done really promptly and at a great price. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using him for any future jobs
