This is the second time we have called Matt out to work on our boiler. His service is like no other, he arrives on time, he gives great advice and his prices are fair. Our boiler is located in the loft, so he even took photos for us which was really helpful. Thank you so much Matt!

We are very pleased with the work Matt recently did for us-Installation of new Boiler, fitting a new sink in the kitchen and completely renewing the very messy pipework we had under our sink. After giving a very reasonable estimate , he gave us a very prompt date for the work to be done. He was very punctual and completed the whole job quickly, efficiently and tidily. He worked very hard on a very hot day! He is very pleasant and it was a pleasure to meet him.

I have used Hopkins Heating to power clean our heating system and radiators in our house, Matt arrived on time and quickly set up his equipment, working carefully throughout the day he also replaced the valves as required. Matt completed a power flush of my central heating system. From initial enquiry to completion of the work, his updates on progress and general communication was excellent. This work is very expensive due to the time taken to flush the system. Having set-up his equipment, Matt explained the process, showed me the sludge flushed out of the system, balanced each radiator and checked for leaks. Overall, a pleasant and professional person to deal with, and I’m happy to recommend his services.
Matthew checked my boiler and given me advices and options to deal with it. He also checked the carbon monoxide detector and making sure everything is in good order. Matt from Hopkins Heating did an excellent, professional job. Our radiators were not heating and a power flush had been recommended, but it was reassuring that Matt did his own thorough assessment before starting. As well as the power flush, a new pump was fitted along with other changes to ensure the system worked well. We were fully consulted throughout, including how to deal with a stubborn cold radiator and seeing the amount of sludge pulled out of the system at each stage of the process. It was a bonus that Matt is familiar with properties in the area. Highly recommended.

Amazing job! We have had issues with our radiators, sludge building up in them. He recommended a power wash which is exactly what we needed. He talked us through, step by step, what he was doing and happily answered any of our questions as the day went. Our heating now works amazing, better than it has for ages! I recently had a problem with the boiler at my rental property. Matthew came out within 24 hours and fixed the problem. I have used his company ever since I bought my property and have always found his workmanship nothing short of excellent. He is always very clean and tidy and keeps to his estimate. I would never use anyone else and trust him 100% even when I'm not available to be at my property.
We had a new boiler last year installed by another plumber and had nothing but trouble with it kettling and not all of the radiators worked. Boiler failed at 6:30 in the evening. Called Hopkins Heating and Matt walked through a couple of things to figure out what might be the problem. Ignition had failed so no hot water. Matt said he’d be out late morning the next day to fix it and was able to give a price estimate. In the end he turned up a couple of hours early, fixed the boiler in less than half an hour and charged less than he said. Fantastic- thank you.
Matt arrived very promptly and worked methodically and tidily to powerflush my radiators and boiler..and to install a Fernox magnet.He explained exactly what he was doing, the job took the time he suggested it would and was completed at the price agreed...his was a very competitive quote too. Mine is an 11 radiator, traditional boiler system. We have 22 radiators in the house and the problem was that the heat was unevenly distributed. We suspected that there was sludge in the system. In the event there was very little, but Matthew spent much time balancing the radiators and ensuring a more even distribution across the three floors of the house. He included this work in the overall quoted price. He was very professional and careful and we continue to enjoy the much improved heat distribution. We would highly recommend his workmanship.
