Excellent service from Monika and Erik at the Basingstoke branch! They are a true credit to the store and were extremely responsive, so nice and friendly, very helpful and provided a superb high quality service over all when we bought engineered wood floors and had them installed. One thing I will say is we did have a bad experience with the floor fitter. I think we may have had another fitter that wasn’t the normal recommendation others had as the one in everyone else mentions on google has fab reviews! Our fitter was a nice guy and I don’t mean to be so critical but he took 4 weeks to do what he said would be a 5 day job because he had overbooked himself so had to keep pausing on our work to go to another site- but had a number of excuses and wouldn’t admit this ( he actually pinned it on a delayed delivery by the store which is poor form if someone can’t take accountability), he kept questioning our floor choice (v unprofessional in my opinion), and in the end would take days to respond unless I went through the store to chase him blaming technical issues … in the end he left an unprofessional unfinished job in my opinion. I’ve had floors installed many a time and wasn’t happy. When I raised this he offered to come back as he had apparently forgotten to add the ‘finishes’ that in all my floor experiences are part of the main work and can in no way be ‘forgotten’ but quite frankly I was so infuriated I didn’t want him back in my home as felt he’d taken advantage of our until then quite calm and friendly dealings with him. I wish him well but he truly pushed me over the edge of insanity in that month! This is no reflection on the store however who went above and beyond when I shared this with them and they only proved their superb service in the way they handled it all for us!

I have used the Basingstoke store a few times, on this occasion I needed wooden flooring for two bedrooms. I have always found the staff there to be very knowledgeable and they can’t do enough to help you. The fitter, Marcin, was brilliant, he went above the standard level of service and I will be asking for him again to fit a stair carpet in the future. I do have a couple of negative things regarding the head office though. My delivery date was moved forward 1 week without my consent so I was on holiday at the time of delivery. My neighbour took the delivery but I think this is bad practice as what if I didn’t get on with my neighbour or the goods were damaged? After the fitting of the wood flooring I had a few packs left over. When I went to return them I was told there had been a recent change in the handling fee from 10% to 50%. Needless to say I didn’t return them! This 50% charge is extremely high and I feel unfair. In short the staff at the store are brilliant but head office need to take a look at their procedures and policies.
Amazing service from start to finish. Everyone at the store are nice and welcoming. The installation side of things i couldn't recommend more, Marcin was recommended by Flooring Superstore and service was excellent, turned up and just cracked on. Fair play hes done an amazing job!
Very pleased with the look of the new flooring, the guys did a great job, arrived early and worked non stop until complete. Handed over with cleaning and care advice, cleaning up behind them. The whole process was very straightforward from initial viewing at the store, the cost including the whole package (no separate payments needed) finally to arranging of fitting, good communication from the company. I would definitely recommend.
We've had flooring supplied and fitted by several companies over the years, but we've never experienced such a professional and customer-focused service as we received from Flooring Superstore. Monika has been incredibly helpful, highly knowledgeable about the products, and extremely patient throughout the process, especially when we changed our minds about the flooring on several occasions. Her advice and support made the whole experience much easier. We were told that Michael was their best fitter, and that certainly proved to be true. Michael is an excellent communicator and an even better fitter. His experience was evident throughout the installation, and he provided valuable advice on a number of points along the way. The entire process, from choosing the flooring to the final installation, was handled professionally and efficiently. We are delighted with the result and would highly recommend Flooring Superstore to anyone looking for quality products and outstanding customer service. Rating: 5/5 ⭐

I found the team at Basingstoke very helpful, and their quote very competitive, so much so, Tapi tried 3 times to better and didn’t, and that approach put me off them ! Communication was good, delivery times acceptable, and the fitting team of Ian and his assistant, were very diligent, skilful , and tidy, in their workmanship. I highly recommend after an excellent experience.

The team at Basingstoke were fantastic! Very friendly and professional. I was on a tight schedule and they were able to speed up delivery of the carpet and arrange a fitting time that met my needs. The fitting itself was first class, taking away the old carpet and laminate flooring and cleaning up and vacuuming to leave the property spotless. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic experience! We recently purchased our flooring here and couldn’t be happier with both the product and the service. The entire team was super friendly, genuinely helpful, and incredibly attentive to our needs. They took the time to give us really practical advice on how to install the floor ourselves, which made the whole DIY process much less intimidating. What stood out most was that there was zero hard sell — just honest, helpful guidance from start to finish. Even the new employee was excellent and clearly well-trained. Every single person we dealt with was professional, patient, and a pleasure to work with. If you’re looking for quality flooring and excellent customer service, I highly recommend this store. I wanted to share some feedback about the Basingstoke branch. The team there are consistently fantastic—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We went to pick out some carpet for our baby's room. Monika looked after us throughout the whole process from ordering through to organising delivery and fitting with care and attention to detail. Ian came and fitted, he was amazingly quick and did a fantastic job, while being respectful of our home. Will definitely be back when we need more flooring.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received regarding my recent carpet order. To begin with, the carpet was delivered to my home when it should have been delivered to the warehouse ( message three confirming this), which already showed a lack of coordination. Upon delivery/fittting, it was then discovered that the carpet had a large oil mark, making it completely unfit to be installed. As a result, the fitting could not go ahead, causing significant inconvenience. What makes it worse is that Fitter noticed the carpet was rolled backwards, so someone had seen it and not corrected it. Equally, it was sat with the store for three weeks rolled backwards. The mark was on the outside of the roll under clear plastic. Communication throughout this process has been very poor. I was promised that customer service would contact me to find a resolution the issue, but I have yet to hear anything. Additionally, my old carpet was removed but then left behind, despite paying that it would be taken away—again highlighting a clear breakdown in communication. After waiting 9 hours with no update, I had to call the store myself, only to be told that a replacement carpet would take up to 6 weeks. This is simply unacceptable given the circumstances. Overall, this experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and poorly handled from start to finish. I would expect much better organisation, communication, and customer care. As a result I’m now left with no carpet, nails sticking out from the carpet grippers and no ETA of resolution and old carpet ripped up and dumped outside my house

Fantastic service from start to finish! I recently approached Flooring Superstore for getting flooring and carpeting fitted in a new build property. Monika kindly invited me to visit the store and talk through options. She was thorough in her explanations, answered all my questions, made great recommendations to help me make selections, and even made me a cup (or two) of tea! :-) The materials were ordered and delivered on time, and Marcin (flooring fitter) did a fabulous job around the house, and working tirelessly even through the Christmas holiday period (as I was on a time crunch) - the attached pictures speak for themselves! I am very pleased with the service provided and will definitely recommend them.

Disgusting attitude from him.Due to health never looked at job right, noticed carpet bar missing but thought dealt with other family member this could be sorted later and sort doors out as was low but too much going on at this time, the way he spoke to me, rude and nasty. Will deal with it my way.

Ian and his colleague fitted our carpet quickly and efficiently and did everything that was needed to allow us to use the room straightaway, including cutting the necessary length off the door to allow it to close, removing all packaging and old carpet and hoovering up any mess. A friendly and excellent job.

I would highly recommend Flooring Superstore. We had a very limited time for them to supply and fit a vinyl floor in our new bathroom. We gave Mónica the challenge to have the job completed in under a week. Not only did they meet the challenge to supply the materials on time, but the fitter was prompt, explained everything clearly and did an outstanding job, coming up with solutions to every hurdle that our very old cottage presented. In future FS will be the first place I go to for my flooring needs. Well done. It's great to know that service like this is still out there.

We were very impressed with both the service and the carpet that we chose. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable, and helpful with ideas we hadn't thought about. Their fitter, Marcin, was excellent and quick, also very respectful of our property ,he took his shoes off at the front door and took rubbish we him. We will use these again when other rooms need new carpet..
Staff member at the shop (Monika) was very friendly and engaging from the moment I walked into the shop. She made me feel very welcome and gave me her undivided attention throughout the experience. Monika even offered me a coffee and ample time to decide on the type of carpet I wanted and Justin, the carpet fitter, was also in the shop and offered me some great advice about the type of carpet that might be suitable for my place. I even had the chance to change the colour of the carpet after the order was placed. I’m very happy with my choice and I would recommend them without any hesitation. Excellent customer service and staff members that made me feel heard, seen and valuable. I’m very grateful to them both. I’ll definitely return to them in the future.

I was exploring a highly durable option of waterproof flooring for my catering business. Coming to Flooring Superstore, couldn't be a more seamless service. I have chosen the Asenso artisan Sherwood oak -LVT with installation package, done by Marcin Home Improvements ltd, and from the moment of purchase to full completion of the installation took less than 2 weeks. Will definitely come back for future projects and highly recommend the Flooring Superstore installation package.

Very helpful staff and great variety of carpets. Had a problem with delivery, wasn’t delivered on agreed date but this was sorted very quickly by James and carpet was delivered 2 days later on the day the fitter was due. Carpet looks great, very pleased.Marcin the carpet fitter worked solidly for 7.5 hours to get it finished.

A great option for choosing your flooring. While the floor has only just been put down the quality of the work has been great, along with the materials used. The fitter was friendly, knowledgable and professional. Something we have sorely missed when using other suppliers in the past. A great choice.
Eric was extremely helpful today, putting together a quote to compare with another company that we found to be more expensive than expected. Fab range of carpets on the lower price end compared to the leading competitor. Fitter contacted same day with three available days in his calendar all within 1 week. They work with independent fitters but still better value overall. Marcin managed to fit us in to his calendar to get our floors done before our move and did an excellent job throughout. Made the most of a laminate sale as well and super happy with the outcome
Sadly despite leaving a previous good review I find that I must now change my review. Shortly after having the carpet fitted my wife and I noticed lines across all the carpet which did not look good. We therefore contacted our fitter who has many years experience and he advised that it was a fault. We therefore contacted flooring superstore to request an inspection and were advised that they would not do that and despite sending them photos they refused to even give any consideration to a possible fault. Their advise was to have the carpet cleaned ( new carpet) which was ridiculous. After many attempts to get some solution they offered us £80 towards cleaning, which was again ridiculous as the carpet was spotless. As they would not offer any consideration to the problem we found it necessary to file with the small claim’s court which sounds straightforward but is not as they did not reply to the courts and have to date dragged it out for over a year. We are now in the position that to proceed with legal action will cost us more money which as pensioners we really cannot afford in these difficult times so we are forced to abandon our claim. My advice is while they may seem good value at first if their product is not satisfactory you will get no assistance from them. So I would have to say avoid them and go to a company that looks after their customers.

We have now used flooring superstore twice and both times have been extremely happy with the service. The staff are very knowledgeable and unlike other carpet and flooring places we’ve been too, it never felt like we were under pressure to make a purchase. The customer service I recieved was fantastic! I returned flooring as I wanted a different type of floor and they made the process extremely easy, even offering to pick up the old flooring when delivering the new one. I found the whole experience quick and easy. James, the gent I dealt with made the process smooth and it felt like, as a customer I was valued. Nothing was a problem, I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service from the staff at the flooring superstore, very knowledgeable and there was never any pressure to purchase. The carpet was fitted promptly and sent me texts as to what time he would be arriving and was kept updated with when delivery would be.
We were delighted with the service and knowledge given by Monika who very patiently explained to us the various flooring products. The quality of the wooden flooring we chose is excellent. Very good quality laminate flooring which looks lovely when it's laid down in the kitchen. The carpenter recommended to lay the flooring by Monika at Flooring Superstore was excellent, very prompt, tidy and always on time.
We had arranged a quote from Tapi Carpets and after seeing an advert for Flooring Superstore, we popped in and we are so glad we did! Monkia and Michael were incredibly helpful in selecting the right flooring and not only could they beat the cost of Tapi, they were able to beat it by 50% with a far more superior laminate. Not only that, whereas Tapi were offering a 6-7 week turnaround, Flooring Superstore could offer delivery and fitting within a week. They arranged a fitter, Maciek who couldn't have been more helpful and did an excellent job of fitting the floor. He measured up, then came back when the product was delivered to check the quality and ensure we were ready for fitting and on fitting day worked incredibly hard to deliver excellent results. We are so impressed with Flooring Superstore and so pleased with our flooring. We cannot recommend them more highly. Outstanding customer service and great value for money. Thank you so much.

Amazing service in the showroom, Michael was efficient and helped us well with selecting and ordering our carpet. I cannot say the same for the delivery service. Despite requesting an afternoon delivery slot on our delivery day I received a text the day before saying our delivery will arrived between 8:30 - 9:30 the next morning. I quickly called to mention that we have requested an afternoon delivery slot as we don't receive the keys until midday to which they responded that wasn't possible and I'd have to rearrange delivery for another day. I had a carpet fitter booked in to fit the carpets for us. The delay means that they will now not be fitted before we were meant to be moving in at the weekend. I've had to rearrange the carpet fitter and rearrange the removals company too. Its a shame the delivery service didn't live up to that of the showroom. Moving house is a stressful time regardless, without the added stress of broken promises. A bad experience overall for us unfortunately

Absolutely first class service from start to finish, from arranging a flooring fitter, the same flooring fitter who subsequently did the installation of the flooring, to come and measure up my property, to liaising with the flooring fitter on requirements and all laminate and accessories were competitively priced when compared to the mainstream flooring supply companies. The laminate / underlay / scotia was all manufactured of a very high standard indeed. Delivery of all the laminate / underlay / scotia beading was delivered to the flooring fitter on my behalf. I can not praise Flooring Superstore enough for their professionalism in assisting me with everything in regards of my flooring.

Monika had been helping me for several weeks trying to find some scotia beading for some existing flooring we had but then a flood in the house forced us to change the whole floor. We went back to see Monika and also met Michael the manager. They were both very friendly, not pushy and listed to what we wanted and helped guide us in the right direction. I would definitely recommend using them. I've requested so many samples over the last few weeks and there's never been any hesitation in sending them.

We visited the flooring superstore for the first time today. Michael was very friendly and attentive without being pushy. We were able to take several large samples away to look at in our own home and have returned to purchase our LVT from them this afternoon. We were very impressed with the 100day returns policy which gives us great peace of mind in case we change our mind! We will definitely recommend The Flooring Superstore to others.
We wanted to get carpets for three bedrooms, landing and stairs but didn't really know where to start. Monika was extremely helpful and showed us lots of different carpets, and arranged for samples to be sent out. Everything from ordering, delivery and fitted was seemless. Hadn’t been to the store before, in fact I was not aware the store existed. I was passing and popped in having already had quotes for the carpet I wanted from 2 other high street carpet companies. Target room a bedroom, carpet colour needed to be close to hall carpet, and I didn’t want to pay too much. Monika was great. Helped show me what I was looking for so saved me much time. Cost was comparable to others I had, in fact a little cheaper. It was Monika and the fact that the carpet could be delivered and fitted within a week that sealed the deal. I would definitely buy from here again. Also the fitter Monika arranged for me was so nice and very very helpful. All in all a great experience

No stock, no customer service, lost money! They didn't have stock of most of their carpets. After order carpets 8 weeks in adverts we were told 4 weeks later they didn't have that carpet so had to choose different carpet. We had a text the night before saying my two order will be coming in the morning. When the delivery driver came only one order was on the van, this was the carpet we had ordered 8 weeks before. The store staff can't speak to a manager or head office to found out what was happening, only email. It took three days for anyone to call me back. After 5 days of try to found about where our carpet was. I had to cancel my order and get carpets from other people. I lost money because because the carpet fitter had to come back. And couldn't move in to our new property fully, causing stress and extra work. I will never go into a flooring superstore again
