Mcgrath Electrical

I cannot recommend or thank Mikey and his apprentice enough. They turned up when they said they would, phoned me on the way over and were unexpectedly able to get through all the work done on their first visit, with helpful advice and questions along the way This was a huge help for me visiting from 45mins away. Not only did they complete all the work efficiently, they were really considerate and understanding of my elderly in laws situation. Finding a local tradesperson who is so kind and reliable is such a big big relief for us. Thank you Mikey!

Came out very quickly to replace a blown socket. Job turned out to be more complicated as previous installation had been poor. Came when he said he would. Everything works well. Happy customer (me!) Fair price. Will definitely use again. Used WhatsApp.

We had a genuinely excellent experience with Micky. He came out to us during an emergency on the same day, very quickly and made the time to properly investigate the issue. He quickly found the problem, explained what needed to be done, and got it sorted. Micky showed up exactly when he said he would, kept us updated throughout the job, and the pricing was very fair. On top of that, he worked neatly and left everything clean and tidy afterward when he was done. It’s rare to find someone this professional, honest, and dependable. We’ll definitely be calling Micky again in the future and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a great electrician. Thanks again Micky.

It is the first time Micky did some work for us (my previous electrician retired). He sorted out several jobs we had. All to a high standard. Very pleased with work. Very reasonably priced. Pleasant and polite person. We will definitely use again. Thanks

I had some wired cameras and a wired video doorbell installed and Micky and his colleague were fantastic. They did a great job, also hid all the wires with cord covers, fixed the broken socket that needed wiring and left everything very clean. Very friendly professional service, good communication and great price too. Overall highly recommend for any electrical work.

Micky is absolutely fantastic at his job and I cannot recommend Micky enough. Have used him a few times and has always provided excellent service. Jobs have been carried out to a very high standard.

Micky was absolutely amazing. Came the day after we called, sorted out our breaker and refitted the cooker. Professional and incredibly reliable - would highly recommend. Thank you!

I can not speak highly enough of Micky. We had lost lighting downstairs and the fuse box hadn't tripped. Micky came round within an hour on a Friday evening and spent over an hour investigating. Unable to find the issue, he came back the next morning and once again began to try and work out the problem. It goes without saying that he solved the conundrum and also rewired the fuse box to prempt a further issue. He even offered to hoover up after! All this for an exceptionally reasonable price. An absolute legend and a lovely fellow. If you are looking for a trusty and professional electrician, look no further.

phoned in the morning came out in the afternoon, fitted 2 new light fittings, was very helpful and polite , cleaned up after himself. deserves 5 stars , highly recommend

Quickly helped me and my nan. Got the job done within the hour and was very kind. Definitely recommend everyone to use as we will be doing again.

We contacted Micky for an urgent issue we had with our electric system that was effecting the lights and the boiler. He was friendly and had great communication throughout the job. He went above and beyond to identify the issue and didn't stop working until he fixed it. Would highly recommend. Thank you Micky.

Wow had a really good experience with Micky! I was very impressed with quick responses and great work and a very good friendly guy too - thanks for coming out to us will definitely recommend him to others and use him again!

What outstanding service from a wonderful man. Micky answered my calls within seconds, he arrived on site exactly when he said he would, he diagnosed the underfloor heating problem and replaced a faulty thermostat the following day. All for an extremely fair price. I can't praise his work ethic, his attitude and his pricing highly enough. What a joy people like Micky still exist in the trade.

Had a big electric fault and was worried about the cost to sort out. He was very professional, knowledgeable and patient in sorting out the issue. Was extremely tidy and very reasonable priced. Cannot recommend him enough.

Mike came at short notice to put up central light in living room . Excellent workmanship and professional . Will certainly use again and would recommend him to all .

A great experience, job well done and at a good price, would definitely recommend.

We found Mickey just by chance, and he has ended up doing lots of jobs for my mum. I needed MY bathroom light fixed which decided to pack up around 3 months ago. After realising I needed to buy a certain light fitting, the job was put back until I had the fitting. I waited until Mickey was available, and would’ve waited longer if necessary. I wouldn’t use anyone else now. Today I finally have light!! Hallelujah! I also had 2 new living room lights fitted which look amazing. Mickey is so patient and professional. I couldn’t recommend his service more. Thanks.

Great work as usual. Highly recommend.

5 stars -,prompt polite professional and reasonably priced thoroughly recommended

Can't recommend Micky from McGrath Electrical enough. He's professional, communication was great, as was time keeping & costs. My job was testing to say the least, but Micky found the problem & fixed it. My bedroom wall is no longer "live" & is safe now. I didn't even know it was live before Micky found the problem & showed me. Scary find. In future I'll call McGrath first for sure ! Thank you so much Micky, your help is very much appreciated

McGrath Electrical was very good kept us informed of appointment and did a great job of my light fitting Really happy its been sorted out quickly after making contact

Reached out for help in an emergency and Mike was able to make time the same day to thoroughly investigate, diagnose and solve the problem, restoring power. Highly professional and even thought to call ahead to confirm he would be with us in about 30minutes as he was finishing his previous job. Considerate and extremely careful when moving items to access particularly challenging areas - even came prepared with a change of footwear when moving into the house / outside. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Called Micky on a Saturday afternoon - he was so polite and helpful with initial advice then he came straight over to help us with the electrical fault we had - very tidy worker and very polite and amiable chap - highly recommended. Thank you

Many thanks to Micky for coming at short notice. He did a great job which included a little bit of additional work which we didn’t realise needed doing. He still stuck to the original quote which we thought was really good value. I look forward to using him again in the future I would highly recommend him to any other people in need of his services.

Not the first time we've had Mickey round. Very neat work installing some new light fittings for us.

Micky did a really good job (again) No fuss and very clean and tidy. Fully recommend his services!

Fantastic service. Really appreciated being fitted in with quite late notice/close to Christmas. Quick response/good comms. Installed a new thermal electric radiator for me, which included fixing the wall mount and wiring it in/adding an electric point. Everything about the experience was positive. Mounted carefully using a spirit level. Brought the necessary part for the electric point. It is working perfectly, I'm delighted. Brought own vacuum to clean up afterwards. Very impressed and would not hesitate to use again. Thank you! Helen.

Very pleased with the work done. Micky responds quickly and is very accommodating. Standard of work is excellent as well. Would recommend

We are thrilled with the work completed. We had a loft conversion and all the wiring and installation of lighting, switches and new fuse box were carried out. He is very punctual and works in an efficient, tidy & conscientious manner. We would highly recommend McGrath Electrical to everyone, for all types of electrical work big or small.

Micky was able to call round on the same day I called and replace two light fittings. Both Mickey and his assistant were professional and even hoovered up after themselves. Thanks both!

Micky carried out a full rewire on my two bed terraced house. His quote was very reasonable and he was prompt to start. Micky and his young apprentice worked very hard including additional jobs such as taking up flooring. He was a pleasure to deal with and was always in communication. Micky went over and above by installing additional sockets free of charge, gave honest advice and supplied a contemporary burglar alarm and quiet bathroom fan. I recommend Micky’s services and believe he will look after you

Highly recommended. He was very flexible, reliable and completed the work to a high standard. Will be using again.

Micky was pleasant & efficient from the minute of my first phone conversation...He arrived as agreed, with ALL necessary equipment required. Returned again when fitments purchased. Job completed, plus even cleaned up, with own vacuum. Cost was reasonable, in fact really Very Good Value... Will definitely be my Go To electrician in the future & would more than happily recommend. It doesn't get better than this🙂👏

So glad I found Michael. He came within an hour of contacting him. He's done a brilliant job of fixing my light fitting. He cleaned up after himself and left everything tidy. Would recommend him to everyone and won't hesitate to use him again.

Brilliant service. My consumer unit failed due to the RCD being faulty. This was 6.30 at night and they came round about an hour later on the way back from another job. They didn't have the exact RCD to replace the existing one but amazingly they managed to fit one from another unit they had. They didn't charge as they wanted to get the correct replacement but as its old it wasn't possible to find it. Brilliant service and very friendly. Recommended and would absolutely use again.

I have used McGrath Electrical a couple of times and have been very impressed. Other electricians I have called won't even bother to come out if you are not requesting a full re-wire, but nothing is too much trouble for Micky at McGrath Electrical. He turns up when he says he will, does a tidy job, knows what he is doing and is very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend McGrath Electrical.

Excellent service. Friendly and highly recommended. Came out same day for a routine light fitting on their way home from another job. Job turned out to be more complicated than expected due to a fault in the electrics but this was rectified efficiently and in a friendly manner. They even went out of their way to make good an aesthetic issue that was no fault of theirs.

We contacted McGrath Electrical today after searching online for an emergency electrician. There had been a fire at the house next door and, although minimal damage to our house, the fire brigade advised having our electrics checked before allowing us to return home. It had been a very stressful day for us but McGrath Electrical were very calm and helpful. I cannot rate the service we got highly enough. The price was also extremely reasonable so we will definitely be using them again in the future.

Absolutely outstanding work from Micky - We had a few things to get done but quite a lot of little problems surfaced throughout the day as we live in an old property with plenty of shoddy previous electrical work involved and Micky went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved. The price was excellent and the work first rate. We will definitely be using Micky for all of our future electrical needs and I could not recommend highly enough.

Excellent service from Micky. I couldn't recommend him enough, very friendly, punctual and always manages to sort out any electrical problem I have.

Micky's fixed a couple of things for us, and each time it was nice and quick, and we ended up better-off than before. In fact, the first time he came round, he also fixed a fault we had with an alarm that I hadn't even realised could BE fixed, I just thought it was a quirk of the building! Anyway, over the years I've had the occasional electrician (or handyman or whatever) come round who I couldn't wait to get rid of - this isn't one of them, I'll use McGrath Electrical every time now.

Micky wired in some LED lighting in bathroom and LED Mirror, new therostat extractor fan. Very professional, and offered good advice what to get and what lighting to use. Highly recommended

I've used Micky on a number of occassions for things from new fuse boards, to replacement light fittings, and he's always provided a really good service. Good value for money and very careful in his work. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I would highly recommend the services of McGrath electrical!
