We used Blake to help with electrical work for a refurbishment of our Pilates studio in Altrincham. He was helpful from start to finish. Answered any queries or questions I had and helped with ordering the correct supplies. We had a tight turnaround of only 3 days to get a full refurb done and he was there when he said he would and got all the work required done in a day. Highly recommend using him for being so reliable and responsive. Thank you.

Turned up to an emergency call at 7:30am on a Sunday morning and had me up and running again in no time. No fuss, no hassle, just cracks on with it and gets the job done.
I’m extremely happy with the service I received. He came out on fairly short notice, was very punctual, and friendly throughout. The new heater he installed is significantly better than the one that was previously there — it’s made a huge difference already. Everything was completed efficiently and to a high standard. I put a request in on check a trade at around 7am by 7:15 Blake had contacted myself and a plan for him to come later that day after I finished work was arranged. Blake fitted a double plug socket under my kitchen sink for a dishwasher to be installed, very friendly, always kept me updated on ETA did an amazing job even added a little hole in my cupboard for wires to be thread through. I would definitely use Blake’s services again! I also feel the price was very reasonable.

Really happy with the emergency call out work Blake has done at my property today. Lost power to all downstairs sockets and unable to resolve the issue myself. Absolutely fantastic service. Blake was so friendly, patient, professional and prompt! During the initial call I'd got an appointment booked for early the next day, it was a huge relief! After a thorough mix of troubleshooting & property inspection, he found the cause of my electric tripping, replaced the part and I was back up and running straight away. Would 100% recommend! I called Blake this evening when all of my power went out. He tried to help me fix the issue over the phone to save me a call out fee but when realising it was a bigger issue he arrived within 30 mins and isolated the issue and giving me some power back overnight! Very much appreciated and will definitely be using for all future electrical work.

Can’t recommend highly enough, called at 11pm saturday and attended 1130am on the sunday to my 89 year old nana who had just come out of hospital to an electrical fault, they diagnosed and sorted quickly, thanks again 👍🏼
Our washing machine and dishwasher stopped working on a Saturday afternoon, whilst they were mid-cycle. As a busy parent of a newborn baby and a toddler I couldn't wait until Monday, so I posted the repair job on Check a Trade. Blake called within 30 mins, was the first electrician to respond, and completed the work within 3 hours of me posting the job. The job was a little more expensive than I was expecting but the price was fair, given the speed and professionalism with which it was completed, as well as the antisocial hours.

Blake has fixed our main circuit board same day as they blew up and then gone on to consolidate house electrics to one main board a week later. Blake is very professional, friendly and will assure a good job. He cares about getting it right and came back to help us problem solve and when it turned out it was actually a broken appliance not the electrics was as pleased as we were. I contacted Blake regarding installation of a socket in a kitchen. It initially looked like it was going to be a big messy job but Blake used his problem solving skills to work out a solution which he quickly sorted. I would use Blake again and highly recommend him.
Blake came out today to diagnose a fault with a tripped circuit, gave me an estimated time of arrival, turned up early, and clearly told me the prices up front, with an opportunity to cancel. Sorted out the problem quickly and efficiently, all back and working now. Friendly and professional. Blake was very responsive with helping us fix our main blown RCB. While the required replacement part was not available due to the time of year and would take a few days for delivery. Blake installed a temporary system in place to provide power in the meantime. Blake is very personable and is a breath of fresh in the trade. While it was not cheap, the service is top class and I would definitely recommend Blake for anybody.

Blake came to the rescue today with a very reasonable price to add an additional plug socket before plastering work started tomorrow. I only called this afternoon and this evening he came to quote but also decided to just get the job done and stayed well past tradesman’s times to finish this for me as I was clearly stressed needing this work completed. (My fault for leaving it until the last minute) Couldn’t be happier …….. tidy, efficient, made sure to protect all my furniture with coverings and what a lovely man to meet, real genuine character with a cracking sense of humour. Excellent and efficient service for fixing my shower (isolation switch needed replacing). Blake gave helpful advice over phone with how best to fix my problem and was the cheapest quote I found. He worked around me to fit in with a time that was suitable for me, let me know when he was on the way and was bang on time. He fixed the problem really quickly and gave great honest advice about my other electrical queries/jobs, so will definitely be getting him again to do these and would recommend to others! Really friendly nice guy!

This guy has been pestering me about helping him online for months a tyre kicker. I rejected working for him a timewaster. Warning to other online service providers this guy will waste a lot of your time admits suffering from paranoia after bad experiences with previous business partners. Stop wasting people's time.
Excellent professional electrician. Couldn't Fault. Very honest, won't spend your money if it isn't needed, gives genuine honest advice. Very easy to get along with and friendly. Goes above and beyond to tidy up after himself, I swear he left the place cleaner than he found it! Did all jobs to a nice finish and was always asking where I wanted things and what I wanted to check I was happy with his work. Couldn't fault. Very professional and reliable service provided. We looked at several companies and Blake Electrical seemed to offer the best deal in combination with brilliant reviews. He lived up to the expectations and we would definitely recommend him! They installed 8 pendant/ceiling lights for us (including one very difficult and heavy ceiling one), 2 dimmer switches and 4 (expected) spotlights for in the bathroom. Would use this service again!

Rang Blake Electrical and they came out within the hour, as the electrical fuse box had started to give off a burning smell. Really prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
We had no lighting downstairs, Blake visited twice for total of 2.5h, charged us for total if £450. Still could not find the fault, changed the fuse on his first visit, did not make a difference. On his second visit he said he cannot say how long the repair would take, might be a lengthy process and he’ll just have to charge us hourly without giving us an estimate for how long his inspection would take. He was very chatty, spent more time talking and socialising than actual work. We did not call him for third time. We found another electrician who found the fault and fixed it in 1.5h and cost us £180!
Blake installed 4 new sockets and remodelled our living room so that we could hang our TV on the wall. Wiring for the TV was installed into the internal wall to create a neat finish. He also installed three new lights in our kitchen. Blake was very professional, a general nice guy and was very neat and tidy. Would highly recommend!

We had a tripping RCD that meant we lost power to almost all of the sockets in our house. Blake managed to fit us in on the same day and did an excellent job unravelling our complicated wiring in an old house with plenty of ‘character’! He tracked down the offending sockets and restored power to the rest of the house in no time. He’s cheerful, friendly, polite and had great communication, keeping me informed of what was going on at every stage. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others and will certainly call on him in the future.

His work was very neat and done to a high standard. A full price quote was given at the start and was very reasonable. I contacted Blake to fit a cooker hood in my kitchen - not an easy task due to the pre-existing tiles and lack of power points. He got back to me straight away and arranged a convenient time to check the job. I assumed there would be no way of doing this without removing some of the existing tiles, however Blake very cleverly found a way to run a supply to the extractor without needing to disturb the tiles. I must say I was very impressed with the end result. I would wholeheartedly recommend Blake to anyone - I’d give him 6 stars if I could. He is definitely my go to electrician now!

Blake is very friendly and professional. He provides excellent, honest advice and is truly an outstanding electrician. His communication and timekeeping was great and he always stuck to his word. I wanted lights installed in my attic; Blake suggested that I fit a strip light rather than hanging bulbs and I’m very glad he did as it looks fantastic and lights up the room beautifully. I don’t know how he managed to do this so seamlessly! I also asked Blake to cover some exposed live wiring that was in the attic. Instead of just covering this up, Blake suggested turning this into a power socket which I thought was an amazing idea! I’m not sure other electricians would have done the same. Blake did an excellent job finding and fixing an electrical fault under the tiled floor in my kitchen. He returned my call promptly, and came round at short notice. Where other electricians would have given up Blake persevered and found the fault and was able to fix it with minimal damage to the tiled floor. Very relieved to have a permanent fix to the problem.

I have never in my life encountered such a disgusting behavior, the engineer who was send to my property did not like me asking about the issue, all he wanted to do is to take the money and get out without doing anywork. Was so rude when i asked him anything he said and i quote " you needed the electricity on and now it is on" is like shut up. The main reason i was asking him to make sure the switches are all in good shape, is a previous encounter where a fault in one of the devices led to burning of one of the switches. So what he did he returned back to the electrical box unscrewed it and disconected the wires!! I did not recognize untill he left i thought he was testing it. I went after him he didnot respond , refused to come back and demanded 140 pound ! He left me with no electricity - although it was fine and working- and i have a 9 month old baby that needs warm milk, a 7 years old daughter that need warm breakfast before school, my dissertation deadline was the day after and i had no internet and could not charge my laptop. Unprofessional, childish behavior. If you ,the engineer who visited my apartment , is reading my comment right now, just know that all the bad things you do to harm people will return back to you some day !

I found Blake's details on the Checkatrade website and from the very first enquiry phone call, Blake was so friendly and approachable on the phone that he put me at ease instantly. I had a few back a forth phone calls with Blake as I had bought the materials and I needed someone to do the electrical work for me so during these phone calls Blake was really helpful, making sure that I had everything that I needed and everything would fit etc. It was during these calls, that I could really tell that I was dealing with someone that was not only a top notch professional but also a really decent bloke that took pride in his work. Blake quoted me a really reasonable price, it wasn't the cheapest quote that I had, but my gut instinct told me that I should value quality and knowledge over price and I'm pleased to say, that my gut instinct was absolutely correct in that you get what you pay for. I booked in the work with Blake and he turned up bang on time, on the date he said he was going to (this is rare and taken for granted I promise you). He is such a genuine guy and somebody that we were very happy to invite into our home. He carried out all of the work that we asked him to do and even went above and beyond this and carried out extra work without any costs to ourselves when a little problem presented itself (for example, Blake had to cut an extra hole because of a hidden beam in the ceiling). All of the work that he has installed, looks absolutely brilliant and really has been completed to the highest of standards. Blake also fixed one of our outside lights free of charge just because he's such a decent guy and my partner mentioned it was annoying him. It's really refreshing to have someone complete work for you, who not only is friendly and affordable but also finishes the job to an impeccable standard. We've dealt with a few cowboys in the past and we were a bit nervous to get this work completed however I trusted Blake implicitly from our initial phone call due to his manner and I could tell that he knows his stuff. His quality and finish of work backs this up, without a doubt. We are so happy with the end result and how our lights look that whenever we need an electrician, Blake is the first person we will be calling. Responded immediately, was here within 2 hours. Found the fault within 20 minutes: my electric hob was dead and was tripping the breaker. Took it off the circuit so i could use my oven while parts were ordered. Fixed my thermostat (unrelated issue) for free while on first visit. Ordered parts and returned to replace the hob and my bathroom lights (also unrelated issue) all within 3 working days from my first phonecall. Would recommend.

I called this company last night as I had a light blow and power tripped, I was getting worried as it was quite late, I tried flicking switches etc nothing worked and I didn't think I could get anything sorted that late. I just can’t praise and recommend Chris highly enough. He has worked wonders in our house (adding sockets, sorting out full loss of power throughout the house and then full rewiring of house). He is hard working, charismatic, has a great sense of humour, trustworthy, very, very reliable and always offers cost effective alternative solutions.
