On contacting Ollie he arranged an appointment with our estate agent to complete an EICR on the property we're buying quickly. Not only did we receive the EICR certificate the morning after the investigation took place, Ollie provided us with an explanation of the findings and a quote for remediation works - all for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
We had just bought a house and Ollie came to do the electrical safety test. He was very professional. Communication before the appointment was excellent and he showed up on time. When he checked the fuse box, he explained us that because of the age of the wires a full rewire was required to comply with today's regulations and was not worth it doing the electrical check. In the end he did not charge us because he did not carry out the test and even helped us finding someone for the full rewire (a service he did not offer at the time). Next time we need an electrician, we would certainly contact him again.

Great service. I had an EICR done which was easy to arrange and he arrived on time. Unobtrusive and easy going but professional in doing the job and explained a couple of faults he found but fixed without additional charge.

I first used OJT 5 years ago for my electrical installation inspections and certifications. The price was good and for the few bits and pieces that were flagged up as needing addressing the quote for the work was great and the work was carried out in a professional and timely manner. I therefore had no reservations about arranging for the 5 year installation inspections through OJT again when they were due for renewal. Once again a great experience, good prices and professional throughout. Highly recommended.

I needed Electrical Installation Condition Reports on two tenanted properties. Ollie was quick to respond to my initial contact and subsequent questions. He made all arrangements for access through the letting agent and tenants. The reports came through quickly, were thorough and had no unexpected observations. Excellent service.
I found OJT Electrical after looking online for a local electrician. I have since used Ollie's services twice during my house purchase, both prior to completion when he produced an EICR report for me at a very reasonable and competitive price, and following my purchase when he came back to undertake the work needed to bring everything up to standard (including installing a new consumer unit), as well as a couple of other little bits such as installing some new sockets for me. I was very happy with the price for both jobs and with the quality of work that was done, I am left feeling safe and confident in the electronics around the house, and will not hesitate to use OJT Electrical again for future work I need done.

EICR Report, New Consumer Unit + new sockets Ollie gave a competitive quote and gave a clear diagnosis with options of solutions to choose from to suite different budgets. Report generated was electronic and typed so was nice and neat. He did not exaggerate the problems and was professional throughout. I also added extra work for replacing the sockets and again he was more than happy to oblige. Superb workmanship and reasonably priced- truly recommend it!
Ollie was professional from the start, providing helpful information in a friendly and clear fashion. He conducted an electrical survey of our new home in a quick but thorough manner, explained the results to us and answered questions that we had. We had asked him if he could conduct a few small additional electrical works immediately after the survey (e.g. installing a difficult light fitting) which he did for a reasonable fee and to a good standard. I recommend him without reserve.
** Highly recommended ** We needed a new Consumer unit, and an external socket and 32A feed for a hot tub. From initial contact and throughout the work, OJT were clear on what was needed to be done, and what issue may arise. The work was completed to a high standard, and we'll be using them again!
