£85+ VAT per hour (£102 per hour), “or part thereof” - yes they round up to a full hour’s rate for even a part of an hour and if they decide they don’t have time to finish the job, they want to return and start the clock again. This is a real review after they came on 19 October 2026 to replace an extractor fan and a transformer for a LED strip. When I raised this as a concern asking they shouldn’t start the labour clock again for their return visit, they responded by saying I should pay more for overtime hours as they came at 5pm, even though they hadn’t once mentioned anywhere, in person or in writing, that the charges after 5pm would be higher than what they actually quoted me. And then they decided they won’t in fact return. Such poor service. Oh and the response below is typically misleading. REPLY: "I asked yourselves if you could do the work on either a Wed, midweek after 5pm, or on a Sat. Your team quoted me in writing in email £85+ VAT per hour or part thereof, then called me and offered me a 5pm slot for the same day. I never asked for, discussed, or took advantage of an afterhours service. That is language that only you are using AFTER the event. You are being misleading. Perhaps you made a mistake and then tried to re-coup the money by a different means. As for your 2 hours, what rubbish. The electrician was there for exactly 93 mins and 46 seconds. You were caught out on CCTV and the photo below with the timings PROVES it. And when I sent the videos to your partner she told me he must have accidentally added his driving time. Did he /your partner also added his waiting time, as he arrived early as he was already there when we arrived exactly on time at 5pm. I don't know if these are simply errors or deliberate, but it undermines trust. You were fully (and properly) paid. I just didn't agree to you charging labour for the LED on one visit (when you round up 1/2 hour labour cost to one hour labour cost), and then starting the clock all over again for for the SAME job on 2nd future visit. When we spoke, you even you said you wouldn't do that, but then you did exactly that. I wonder why you had to "start all over again", again, as your partner told me you had.
Absolutely great! They came to carry out the work as agreed. They were very professional but also friendly. We had a new fire fitted, sockets moved, lights changed and an extractor repaired… there was minimal making good required and they cleaned up really well. I’d highly recommend!

I've had a very positive experience with this company on a few occasions (consumer unit replacement, Ring camera installation w/ full wiring and fixing a broken switch). They are responsive (you usually get a reply within an hour), arrive on time on the agreed date and do a high quality work. Highly recommended!

Great service from the Regal-T team. The EV charger was fitted perfectly in the allocated time and they helped with setting up the app to start charging the car. We couldn’t be more happy with the work that Stuart and his colleague completed. Liz and the team are highly professional, got us booked in quickly, turned up when they said they would with all the correct equipment and tools, so no need nip out or return later in the day to complete any work. Very clean and tidy including putting shoe covers on when they entered the house. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

We required an EICR certificate and a new fuse box installed and Stuart was able to do the work at a high standard in a reasonable amount of time and at a competitive price. We are happy to have found an electrician that we can trust.
We had a problem with a light switch that was buzzing when used and causing our lights to flicker and then turn off. Stuart responded very quickly to our request and solved the problem with a replacement switch. We are very happy with the results and the prompt service. Much appreciated.
I used Regal T to supply and fit an EV charger to our property for our electric car. It was a tricky install as cables needed to fed from the rear of the property to the front with additional work needed for our fuse board and we were initially worried about lifting floors and the possible damage that could occur, Stuart assured us he would be careful and not to worry and he was right, everything was perfect, no floors/ carpets or tiles were disturbed and the team managed to get everything that was needed beautifully installed with no issues at all under the property, super tidy, very professional, and working perfectly. We also had instruction on using the charger, the phone app that remotely controls it and were also left all regs/ certification and warranty paperwork for peace of mind in the future. We'd happily recommend Regal T to any of our friends and family and they will be our first choice for any future projects at home.
