I would highly recommend George and his team. They were professional, reliable and really friendly from start to finish. They did a fantastic job, explained everything clearly and left everything clean and tidy. It’s not always easy to find a tradesperson you can completely trust, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you for a great job!

Brilliant service! George came late in the evening, outside of working hours, and solved our power issue. We were unable to use the boiler, kitchen, and other essential appliances, but he diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Overall, the service was excellent. We will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him!

George fitted an EV charger for us and also replaced our fuse box. The quality of his work and attention to detail is superb. He provided a clear estimate and answered the queries we had. He spent 2 days with us as & it was a pleasure to have him in our home. Thoroughly recommend. We have subsequently used George again for some outside security lights front and back. As always, first class job.

Only a small job to fit a couple of external sockets but, as always, great quality work and a fair price from a great local guy.

The electricians installed a sunken double socket and an external light with switch. They did an excellent job with no mess. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Very professional and knowledgable team, with work done to a good standard. It was a complex installation and issues encountered were dealt with promptly - that's the difference between good and great

excellent service from a very pleasant team led by George. Nice to have an electrician that tidy's up after himself and great value for money.

George completed a number of jobs for us. Upgraded our fuse box, neatly routed a new power supply to our emersion heater and fitted a solar boost that heats the water from our solar panels. He is very knowledgeable and skilled. A pleasure to have in the house and I highly recommend him.

A big thank you to George and his lovely team for all their hard work fitting my new heaters, lights and upgrading my consumer unit. From first reaching out to George the process has been very smooth and easy. Prices are fair which fitted with George’s trustworthy and friendly vibe. Thank you, we would deffo use you guys again!

George did an amazing job for us when (we were told by our plumber that) our Nest system failed and we were left without heating on our ground floor for a couple of weeks. He came around and didn’t leave until he found the problem and fixed it, eve when it turned out it had nothing to do with Nest or strictly speaking his electrical remit. All at a very competitive cost. He’s also a great guy. Highly recommended.

George carried out some rather awkward rewiring for us recently, the job was completed professionally and we were very pleased with the work. We have now asked them to carry out some additional wiring.

Great job and so thorough, will be using these people again highly recommended

Excellent work as always. Very happy to recommend George and co. have now used him numerous times for building projects and very happy to recommend him to family, friends and neighbours.

George and his team are very professional and completed the work quickly & efficiently, they also navigated a lively cocker spaniel, which is always helpful!! I was recommended by my neighbours and I would definitely recommend to others.

The team rewired and upgraded all the lighting in our local church and community hall. They were professional, courteous, flexible to the ongoing needs of the church in using the premises during the works, and diligent in maintaining a clean, safe environment. The price was competitive and overall extremely good value. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Powering GB have carried out multiple electrical jobs at the dental practice I manage over the years and have always done an exceptional job. They were recommended to me by several people in the local area, and I can see why. Every job is priced fairly and reflects the high quality of their work. They are extremely accommodating, with excellent communication throughout each project. After completing their work, they always leave the workspace tidy and neat. The team are honest, practical, and set realistic expectations — qualities that make them a pleasure to work with. Fantastic and reliable service from the Team. I defo recommend and use Powering GB again when I look to change further lighting in my place

George fitted the Sandridge Village community defib for free, so I called him first when I need an EV charger fitted. Not only did George fit me in during a busy run up to Christmas, he did an amazingly neat and professional job. Even though our drive was a mess because of building work, he wouldn't leave until his area was spotless. Above and beyond service.

With just a few days left before Christmas, my home needed its five year electrical safety check done. Which I consider to be most important. Rob, and his apprentice James, arrived on behalf of Powering GB Ltd. What pleased me is how polite they were. For example, they removed their shoes without any promoting. The work was carried out efficiently and professionally. Most important of all they had real character, which seems most absent these days. As my children tell me often, some people died at 25 but are not buried until they are 75. That could not be said of these two employees working for Powering GB Ltd. Can you please pass on my thanks and appreciation to them both. They are a credit to your company. And yes, I have no connection to this company. Nor, am I related to the two hard grafters who called to my home yesterday. It's just that I am grateful when I see work being done well. John Murphy. St Albans.

Powering GB is a professional business run by professionals that supply a very high standard of service at a very reasonable price. All others take note and learn. Will most definitely use again.

He was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable, he identified the issue straight away and fixed it in no time. The whole experience was smooth and reassuring from start to finish. I highly recommend George for anyone looking for a reliable and skilled electrician.

Excellent service! I contacted George at 8.45 am on a Saturday morning because we had a short circuit causing a fuse to pop out repeatedly. His colleague Nigel was round only 45 mins later and replaced the faulty switch that was causing the problem. Power back on, all good. Highly recommended!

George and Nigel are brilliant. We have just moved to St Albans and needed an electrician, plumber and gas man. We had our fair share of bad eggs before finding George and co. He’s trustworthy (didn’t feel ripped off), reliable (replied regularly and fitted us in very quickly) and super knowledgeable with a high standard. Chuffed to bits we found him and will be using him for everything.

George and Nigel helped us with some outside lights. They were quick, efficient and cost effective. Highly recommend.

George to the rescue! We have been without heating for 2.5 weeks. We knew it was an electrical problem but our boiler engineer not only wrongly diagnosed what the problem was, but wanted to charge us £10,000 for a new boiler! Although George did not know the system, he diligently worked his way through every single wire, testing everything thoroughly until he finally found the fault. I am delighted to say we now have a warm house and have told the boiler engineer which part to replace! THANK YOU GEORGE. YOU'RE A REAL STAR! I would not hesitate to recommend Powering GB to anyone. We have known George for many years and it's great to see him running such a successful company. Not only is George a lovely person who you can trust, but he's a great electrician as well! George is coming back next month to fit a new fuse board for us.

Very impressed with the detailed electrical inspection. Great professional service. Would highly recommend Powering GB .

Can’t speak highly enough of George and the continued quality of his work over the years. Whether it’s a simple fix of resolving a fuse, a full scale electrical survey or coming for an after hours emergency call out, he’s always thorough and provides very clear information about the scope of work and solutions. He looks for cost effective options but not at the cost of high quality and safe solutions. He’s also a really friendly and communicative professional. Very grateful for his high quality work and 100% recommend!

I cannot recommend George and Powering GB highly enough! From start to finish, his professionalism, expertise, and dedication to helping us realise our vision has been brilliant. Our flat presented some challenging constraints, but George navigated them with ease and provided invaluable advice on the best solutions every step of the way from the initial visit to provide an estimate to a follow-up action after other trades had finished their work. What impressed me most was his patience and understanding throughout the process. He took the time to thoroughly explain the work they were doing, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable with the decisions being made. This in itself was priceless and made what could have been a stressful renovation a much more enjoyable experience. Thank you George!

George fitted a community defibrillator cabinet to our local village hall free of charge - he is absolutely amazing! He was so helpful and kind, answered every question we had on defibrillators (he is also a first aid community responder!) and Sandridge Parish Council are thrilled with this generous contribution to the community. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy electrician!
