We have used Safety First Electrical before. Roy did a good job at a good price so called him yesterday to fit 2 wall lights. He arrived promptly this morning and did a very good job. We are more than happy. We would highly recommend Safety First Electrical.
Roy is an excellent electrician. He reviewed our property. Clearly outlined the current electricity safety guidelines and other regulations. He then worked effectively and Cleanly to put right all the unsafe elements in our house which included rewiring the electricity box and changing lights and sockets which were not safe.

Roy did the EIRC for a house we were looking at purchasing and couldn't have been more helpful and upfront about what we were getting into. When we purchased the property and started renovating we tasked him with updating the electrics of the entire house. New consumer units in the house and garage, all new plugs with USB-C, rewiring the lights, moving light switches to different walls, putting in new plug sockets where there wasn't any before - the whole nine yards. The price quoted was reasonable, justified, and exactly what we paid. I felt that he really went the extra mile to ensure that the work he was doing wasn't superfluous. He gave us multiple options and explained the pros and cons of each, helping us making the right decision that suited our needs and budget. We pretty much left him to his own devices, gave him a key and let him get on with it - and he delivered in the timeframe he promised to a very high quality. Was happy to explain things every step of the way and provided updates and communication throughout. I've since used him for other electrical work and advice and he's been brilliant as expected - and I'll continue to use him for any electrical work I need. The service and level of care and detail provided has been second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Safety First Electrical to anyone.

I have used Safety First a few times over the past couple of years. Roy is a very professional person. He is reliable and always prompt with his calls. His work is neat and he always insists on tidying up after himself. I initially chose him because of his 5* reviews on google and have certainly found that he is worthy of his 5* status. Roy has always stood by his original quotations, unless I have added extra work during a job. In short, I trust him and his standard of work is excellent.

We used Roy to install some sockets in our bedroom and he was very professional, on time and provides good quality work. He then redid our fuse box a few weeks later and again he was very professional, friendly and provided a fair price. He makes sure all the electrics in your house are safe and will give you recommendations for any adjustments you may need in the future without being pushy. He explains everything he has done work wise, how to work the fuse box and you get certification for future reference. He will be doing a third job for us soon and we will continue to use him. His prices are fair and his work is very clean. Very impressed 👏
Phoned Safty 1st after our Insurance Company had let us down, Roy advised he had a cancellation and could come that morning, he arrived earlier than expected (bonus) complied to all the rules, wore a mask, sanitized hand, refused a drink and prompty found our fault Roy fixed this fault within the hour and sorted - Hey presto we had light - Roy is very pleasant and professional and would not hesitate to recommend A*****
Contacted Roy with job description and agreed price and date. Roy arrived on time and replaced the consumer unit in my property and must say very neatly. After the installation was complete Roy tested the electrics and all was well. Bish Bash Bosh job well done and all rubbish removed. Roy went through and explained in plain English how the unit would work and suppled the relevant certificate on completion. A good guy and in future will be my first call for electrical work. Strongly recommend.

From initially contacting the owner to scope out the work, all the way through to completion of scheduled works, I was hugely impressed with Safety First. The quote was very competitive for the work required, workmanship excellent, and punctuality on point. Safety First are massively knowledgeable with a well deserved reputation for attention to detail, and getting down to do the job promptly at a very reasonable price. Can highly recommend and will definitely have Safety First back for future electrical jobs.

Wired our shed up, quoted good price, top quality work, the job was completed quickly and he cleaned up after. Also advised us on another electrical issue but wasn't pushy about us getting it done. Will be using him at a later date to complete this other work. Also provided us with a certificate that came within a week. Highly recommended.
