We have just had a solar installation by Newpower and have been delighted with the whole process. Everything has been friendly, quick and efficient, neat and tidy. They even replaced our ridge tiles prior to the work being carried out to prevent further maintenance down the line. Our first point of contact was Steven, who was very informative, explaining how he uses his own system. We were then passed to Rob, who came to our home and demonstrated his own system on his app. He then provided us with a very competitive quote on the spot, with good advice on the optimum system for our requirements. He went above and beyond to get a WiFi booster for us in the garage where our hardware is located. Mick and the installation team worked through heavy rain to complete the panel install in one day. The electrical team came and did a great job of setting up the batteries and inverter. Just waiting for the paperwork now to complete our grid connection. A highly recommended company with the personal touch.

New Power solar panels I recently had solar panels supplied and fitted by New Power, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, my experience with Calum, the Sales Manager, was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic—it really gave me confidence in the company. In fact, after speaking with him, I felt so assured that I didn’t even bother shopping around for other quotes. Once everything was agreed, the installation was completed incredibly quickly. The whole process took just one week, and the team managed to install all 22 panels in a single day. The scaffolding went up that morning and was taken down the very same day after the work was finished, which was really impressive. A special mention to the scaffolders who stayed on to help the solar fitters (employed by Newpower), and to the electricians, who did a fantastic, tidy job. The whole team were pleasant, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. Overall, a smooth, efficient, and stress-free experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend New Power to anyone considering solar panels.

I saw Callum for a very fair quote and 13 days later the solar and battery were installed in just half a day! Even the install guys were a delight to deal with and I’ve not paid anything in gas or electricity except for standing charges since. I have an app that I get more pleasure from than I perhaps should by monitoring how much it’s saving me in utility bills. Soon hope to have my gas capped and meter removed so I won’t pay anymore gas standing charges at all, now that I’ve had my air source heat pump fitted too. Once I receive the relevant paperwork, I can apply to Octopus for a suitable tariff so that all the excess power that is going to the grid I will get paid for too and they’ll remove my gas meter for free. Win win! Newpower Advanced get 5 stars from me.
