Absolute Legend! Ricky at RDC Electrical has helped me with multiple electrical issues in my house. He is really knowledgeable and able to identify the issue and provide safe and reliable solutions and fixes. He has been able to sort me out in emergency call outs over the weekend too. He is very reasonably priced. I will only be using RDC for my electrical needs moving forwards and would highly recommend them for anyone needing work done.

Insufficient experience with Economy 7 and storage heaters so I wish he hadn't accepted the job! He just did a quick fix that hasn't sorted the real problem and brought the wrong replacement cover for the broken switch so couldn't do that either, even though we sent a photo beforehand. Cost £85 for very little.

Woke up Sunday morning with water leaking through lighting and the switches as the flat above had a flood! Ricky was out with an hour as promised quickly assessed the faulty lighting ensured everything was safe and sound bringing the lighting back on. Friendly and very helpful would 100% recommend!

Called Ricky first thing in the morning after the power had been intermittently tripping for a couple of days. He arrived the same day and diagnosed the problem. He implemented a temporary fix immediately and advised me on what had occurred and returned the following day to put in the permanent fix. There were some complications, but Ricky ensured I was well informed and was professional throughout the entire process. The work was performed to a high standard and I will be calling Ricky in the future! Very satisfied!

We had to call Ricky out on Easter Sunday due to the electrics tripping. He arrived within a couple of hours, found the problem which was being caused by a couple of the sockets and made them safe - no more tripping since. He was brilliant, very polite and professional. Without a doubt Ricky is a very honest and professional electrician which is hard to find these days. If I need any electrical problems sorted in the future it is comforting to have a number of reliable and competent tradesman. I needed to rectify faults according to my Landlord Safety Certificate and I contacted Ricky to see if his estimation would be better value. He not only offered a cheaper price but he answered my phone call straight away even though it was Sunday, fit me in quite soon and he explained what needed to be done. The last part of the job was to find a fault and could take between one and eight hours. Ricky couldn’t finish his job on the same day due to my tenant’s fault but he was so kind to offer to come back another day to finalise the work without any extra charge. He completed the check in 90 min even though he could have stayed there longer and charge me more but he didn’t. Thank you, Ricky for all your help.

Ricky recently completed a partial re-wire of our downstairs lighting circuit after we experienced a power cut due to damaged cables. He quickly diagnosed the problem and carried out work to the highest standard. I would highly recommend him to anyone out there in need of an electrician.

I contacted rdc electrical (Ricky) for a light refit and an extractor fan replacement. Ricky was very professional and polite, and explained in details, the complexity of the issues, due to the way previous extractor fan had been (or not) installed. The work was carried out to high standard, and even with the complexity of the work, Ricky’s pricing was still fair and reasonable. I had a difficult to diagnose problem with my fuse box tripping. Ricky came round quickly and was extremely friendly and professional. Ricky and his colleague installed 3 electric heaters and an extractor fan for 2 bathrooms. They were pleasant and respectful throughout, the work was completed as planned, all the installations worked well and the cost was as expected. They also left the apartment in a tidy condition, and we were happy with their work.

I used RDC Electrical to sort an problem out with my outdoor architectural light. After an fight with the lawnmower the Philips Hue strip had a nick. RDC managed to repair the cable with a watertight connection the gardens looking great again.

I needed a small job. Just a ceiling fan put in. They fitted me in quickly and did a really good professional job. The fan was supplied by myself and there was a missing part in the box. He still managed to fit the fan and I ordered the missing part. Ricky said that when it comes I should let him know and he will stop by and fit it for me at no cost. That's what I call first rate service.

He took us through the work he'd completed and any issues that cropped up, where he then offered advice for resolution (e.g the new lights I had purchased had very small brackets and the existing wires couldn't fit in easily so he talked us through a solution to check we were happy with it all and then proceeded with the additional work). Instead of charging a call out fee, he talked me through various things to check and diagnosed the issue with 99% certainty that we would need to change the washing machine. Purely for this excellent and honest service, I asked for a quote to install soffit lights and to do some re wiring. I had been struggling to find an electrician for what I thought was a relatively straightforward job - needed some wiring redone and a new isolator switch to allow for an electric cooker installation, where a gas one had been previously (had contacted a couple of electricians who just stopped relying altogether once I’d sent them details of the job!), but RDC were happy to get stuck in. Good communication throughout, and they had no qualms about both pricing up the job, and completing it outside of the usual 9-5 hours which was a big help. Would definitely recommend, and use again. We had a safety issue just before Xmas, Ricky came round and put our minds at ease which we greatly appreciated given it was late in the day just before Xmas eve and finding people to come out was proving difficult. he gave a thorough check to the safety system and all has been fine since.

Brilliant bloke, came out quickly after i called to my 92 year old grandads house, he was very informative and made myself and my grandad feel at ease! Soon he located the fault and isolated the fault so that full power could be restored to the house. Without this guy my grandad would of had no sockets working in the upstair of the house, but thanks to this guy power is fully restored! Whilst he was at the property he replaced a socket that was slightly damaged at the top of the stairs! Top job Would highly recommend!
