It’s just me and my mum at home, so we both were so confused & worried about why our power kept cutting. We called somewhere else first and they quoted us an extortionate amount without properly diagnosing the issue. Our lights failed on a busy Saturday. Jamie was already on a call-out but he still answered when many others didn’t and came over as soon as he could to get the lights back on, then later that day did a proper repair when we had a gap between customers. Really grateful he helped us out and his charge was totally reasonable - wasn't looking to take advantage price-wise despite us being desperate. Will definitely trust him with future electrical work.

I had contacted a number of electricians to have my summer house disconnected, and Jamie was one of very few to get back to me. He offered a great price and was able to complete the work quite soon - and on a Saturday which is a huge bonus for me. When he arrived, Jamie was friendly, chatty and very likeable. Jamie is the best sparky I've used by far. Me and my wife renovate propetys all the time and have used many sparks over the years. We have been let down by many or have been told wrong information or just want to rip you off. But Jamie by far is the best we have used he does a great job and is very fair when it comes to price. He never let's you down turns up on time and the date he books you in. He works hard and leaves the place tidy and over all a nice respectful tradesman. We would recommend him to anyone and would never use a different sparky.

I was very pleased with the service I recieved. I had 2 double plugs adjusted as they both stuck out from the wall about an inch and i wanted the double plug plates more streamline to the wall for safety reasons. Jamie was very kind and kept me informed of the process. Did all plug safety checks before and after. Even advised me on future jobs that I was thinking about getting done and pricing. I phoned Jamie at lunchtime following a fault with an RCD that refused to reset. He said he would get to us that same afternoon which he did and even texted to say he was on his way. Sure enough he diagnosed a "dead RCD" unfortunately the ones on his van didn't fit our board but he sourced one quite close by and went to collect it. Within an hour of him arriving we had power again. I would highly recommend Jamie, he was helpful, prompt and his bill was very reasonable. Will definitely use again for any electrical works. For anything electrical you can't go wrong with Jamie.

He has completed a number of jobs for me now. - rewiring a TV snug, rewiring my crazy kitchen, installing a new fuseboard, installing a tricky bespoke extractor fan and more. Jamie is an incredibly nice guy and took care to identify what proved a rather complicated problem. He knew exactly what he was doing. Entirely recommended.

My girlfriend accidentally set the cable to our blender on fire on the stove while trying to cook a delicious dinner, we realised she made that mistake when we heard a big bang and saw a spark, and checked to see the cable melted. we panicked, threw the melted blender away, and once calmed tried to cook dinner, we then realised the stove (and oven) would not turn back on due to what i thought was the kitchen plug/switch being completely fried. we panicked again, and called this man, who quickly replied and made us realise that the world was in fact, not over and that it had just flicked the main fuse off, which we could turn back on ourselves. this man did not even have to visit our house to fix our problem, he is a genius, a great guy.

In a moment of lapsed judgement I drilled through some electrical wires above a light switch on a sunday evening. I sent Jamie a panicked message and he quickly called me back and calmly talked me through getting the power back on safely. He came round the next day and replaced the wiring and a broken light switch quickly and neatly. He was very polite and respectful of our home, and clearly explained what he was doing throughout. In addition to this he managed to not make me feel silly, even though I’d done something very silly. I would highly recommend Jamie (whether you’re in a crisis or not!)

Jamie came round to replace the lights in our slightly awkward galley kitchen, which he did neatly, efficiently and for a very reasonable price. He was particularly helpful and sensitive to our specific lighting requirements, and carefully explained how we can adjust some settings on our new lights ourselves in future. I was in dire need for a election I was 200 miles away and the ppl in my holiday chalet had no hot water and the electricity kept tripping My regular election was away on his holiday so I rang JLM on Sunday morning and he got out as quick as he could arriving Sunday afternoon Jamie was polite efficient and precise in his work and manner After ordering the part Jamie returned ASAP to refit the broken emersion element but didnt leave until he was sure the water was heating and left the place clean and tidy I would highly recommend JLM

Great. I had an emergency electrical problem at the weekend that had knocked out a lot of the sockets and the boiler. He came quickly, sorted out the immediate problem (caused by the boiler which needs a heating engineer), explained what had happened, and charged a reasonable fee. Also a nice guy.
