I had a cooker switch replaced in my house and I couldn’t fault the service and speed of TFS. They were called in the evening and around early next day to sort the issue immediately. They were incredibly friendly, and I would 100% recommend and use them again.

Absolutely brilliant experience using tfs electrical Ltd!!!, needed an electrician urgently Saturday evening at 6 o'clock, one phone call which was answered immediately, explained my situation to Chris and he was at my door by 7 o'clock the same evening, problem was expurtley diagnosed within 5 minutes of arrival, Chris rectified the problem and was ready to leave by 8 o'clock, supurb electrician and a really nice guy!!!, I would certainly have absolutely no hesitation in recommending tfs electrical Ltd to friends and family in the future, professional company in every respect.

Chris is awesome, when she shows to work. He left our house half way done and now is not picking the phone calls for over a month now. He was hired to install our fuse box, which he did, but only partially, and now we have to pay for a second fuse box to be installed by another electrician and pay for trenches again. He installed a connection for a electric towel rail and all there is is a fuse, but not an actual plug and the fuse is nowhere to be seen, this means that brans new tiles have to be re-done. This totally stopped our solar panels, heat pump and the rest as there is no surge protection. I am not sure what to do now, but we are very disappointed.

First off I'm going to say that there is no replacement for knowledge, expertise, and excellent customer service from a trades person. In this case an electrician. Starting from the beginning I ordered an induction hob to replace gas as part of a household move to completely eliminate gas from the property. On delivery and installation date the electrician stated that the current power source to my gas was only 13amps and the induction hob I had required a 32 amp supply. They then went on to state that I needed to get a qualified electrician to undertake the work and needed checking run from my main fusebox. Disheartened by this and thinking this is not what I need and why didn't my new build property have a sufficient electrical supply in the first place, I decided to go onto Google and check a trade to find a suitably qualified electrician. I managed to book two for the same day. The first electrician came made his assessment and stated ask the work that would need to be undertaken to install and run new cabling from the fuse box, the fact that it would cause damage to the property which is need to get repaired (additional costs as he wouldn't be able to do that work), then have a rough quotation on how much all that would be. All very disheartening and me thinking this whole getting rid of gas is proving much more of a problem than it's worth. At this point I would like to point out to those who request work to be completed for their property, or any other task skills so their due diligence, and always get at least 3 quotes or opinions. So disheartened alongside my wife who was like let's forget about it, I had Chris from TFS come round and my an I glad I did. He had a look at our fuse box and the kitchen and then started giving us good news and options around the fact that we didn't need to run a cable from the fuse box as previously mentioned by two other electricians. Long story short three option we went with was driving I over the cabling from the oven (32amp) supply with the current power supply going to the gas hob (13amp). This was agreed after Chris and I reviewed the power requirements for the oven being just under 13amps. Chris also gave us some general electrical advice which was invaluable. Fast forward a few weeks, the work is completed (with no cosmetic damage or anything requiring repairing), Dean (electrician for the job) installed the new induction hob (which was originally ordered) which is a joy to cook on, and there have been no performance issues with the oven. There was one issue on the day Dean needed to resolve and that was despite the storage for the hob being a 60cm space and the new hob being a 60cm hob, the depth was everywhere so slightly to long which was a challenge to overcome to install safely and without causing any damage. The only thing we haven't tested is the pyrotechnic clean, but with the power rating don't anticipate that being a problem. So massive 5 stars to Chris and Dean at TFS will definitely use in the future if I have any electrical needs.

He came really quick after getting in contact and also did a check on our electrical board and explained possible issues and left avenues for us to troubleshoot further as we can not point the issue at first. We needed a switch in the bathroom ceiling moved. They arrived on time. Very helpful, cleared up after themselves. We would certainly recommend them and if needed use them again.

Called TFS Electrical last week for a quote for a small job on 2 lights in my kitchen. We brought in TFS to install one large and fragile hanging light fixture in an awkward location, two ceiling lights, and a ceiling fan. Everything was installed quickly and efficiently, then some requested adjustments made to the hanging light, and they were done in 2 hours. Sent a text enquiry on Whatsapp the night before about my cooking hob which suddenly stopped working and confirmed me that he will be coming the following day to look at it. Showed up even earlier and in less than two hours my hob was fixed and further removed the hob to check for any wiring symptoms that could potentially cause issues in the future. Overall very pleased with the prompt service at a reasonable price.

I found a picture had fallen and broken a plug socket and wires exposed I phone ITD and they were with me with in 1and 1/2 hour, while here they also changed a celling rose. Phone ITD as consumer unit kept tripping out.. Chris was at my property ahead of time and started with purpose... great that he gave me information on what he was doing to trace the problem.. and he found it. To summarise old circuit board was beyond its working threshold and life span so in the new year Chris and ITD will be upgrading.. Very professional and looking forward to the upgrade, as a company they offer many more services. My go to electrical people.
