I cannot recommend Alex at Alma Electrical highly enough. From the outset, Alex was honest, professional and completely transparent. I had previously been told by another electrician that I needed an entirely new consumer unit (fuse box) in order to pass the EICR, which would have cost a significant amount. After carrying out his own inspection, Alex explained that this simply wasn't necessary. Instead, he identified only the upgrades required to bring everything into compliance, saving me a considerable amount of money. That level of honesty is rare and immediately gave me confidence that I was dealing with someone who genuinely puts his customers first. His communication throughout the entire process was excellent. He explained everything clearly, kept me informed at every stage, arrived when he said he would, and was always quick to respond to any questions. Alex was also an absolute pleasure to have working in my home. He was polite, respectful of my property, worked quietly and efficiently, and left everything clean and tidy once the job was complete. I was recommend Alma Electrical by a friend, and they were absolutely fantastic. I had a worrying electrical burning smell coming from my bathroom. They came round and found the problem, fixed it and made it look really tidy afterwards. I then asked them to come back to help fix my oven as it was electricuting me(!). Again, he solved the problem really quickly. Great communication, easy to deal with and great value for money. I passed their details onto my parents too and they've helped them twice now.
