Excellent Electrical

Upgraded fuse box. The work was more involved than expected due to previous inherited electrical anomalies in the property. Greg’s diligence and perseverance were admirable. Very satisfied with completed work. I would not hesitate to recommend and Excellent Electrical will always be my go to electrician in the future. Great to have someone you can trust.

I needed new sockets installed in multiple rooms and I went Greg because I felt he had a strong plan about what needed to be done and explained it to me well. He did a great job and kept me informed throughout, I'll happily use his services again.

It's always a worry when booking a contractor to do high value work but can honestly say Greg from the start helped put my mind at ease, he was always willing to come round and talk in person to make sure we get the result of the job we wanted. Of course with all jobs there are snags but I was kept in the loop and nothing was done without talking to me first

Absolutely first class service from Greg. Very professional, friendly and great value. Just the sort of local business I'm very happy to support.

Even though I had a minor electrical lighting job to sort out, Greg's approached it in a curtious and timely manor. He always kept me updated and charged a fair price. I have no hessitation recommending him and will certainly use Greg for all my electrical work.

Cannot thank Greg enough for the jobs he’s done for us. He is professional, reliable, quick to respond, helpful and came round on short notice when we had a problem.

I highly recommend Excellent electrical, called regarding a faulty light wire and they responded immediately. The technician arrived quickly, diagnosed the issue, and had the wire completely fixed within an hour. Exceptional speed and efficiency. Much recommended!

Greg was friendly and did a fine job Thanks

Great work, replaced a faulty electric radiator and installed a new one. Quick and good communication.

Greg came and sorted out numerous long-standing electrical issues brilliantly. He got rid of intermittent RCD trips by replacing a very old distribution board, he sorted out power to our garden shed, upgraded old, inefficient lighting in garage, loft and outside, and installed an external security camera. At all times, giving us options, agreeing what to do, and doing it cleanly and efficiently. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Greg was great, really helpful in upgrading our old down lights and installing 4 new ones in the kitchen. He’s super responsive and would definitely recommend.

Greg and friend were very good and thorough, very pleased with their work. Will be happy to use them again.

Fantastic service for x3 EICRs plus one new consumer unit. Very good communication, tidy work and very fair pricing. I'd highly recommend and will use Greg again.

Greg was very respectful, he fitted us in between jobs and kept us informed of time he could get to us, he was installing an outside socket, this was done quickly and professionally, I'm really pleased with his work

Look no further than Greg for electrical work - he’s professional, friendly, honest and a clear communicator. After a very competitive quote he replaced an ancient consumer unit to the price agreed and left the area clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

Excellent communication and expert advice given from Greg. The job was a bit more complicated but he worked through it and finished on time. I would recommend him and will use his services in the future

Called Greg with a problem with my underfloor heating. He kindly fitted me in his busy schedule. He quickly identified and diagnosed the problem. Gave clear guidance on next steps and checked back in to make sure everything was on track. Really good guy. I would not hesitate to use him again and very happy to recommend him.

I cannot recommend Greg highly enough! I posted on Checkatrade about a problem I had with a smell of fish coming from my airing cupboard! Whilst nobody else responded, Greg contacted me in his free time to say that there was a real risk of fire and to make sure I turned the boiler off to avoid this danger! Even though he was at the beach on a day off, his concern for my safety made him ring me to give this advice and to let me know he would be back in touch once he knew when he was free to view the job! He was true to his word, came round and sorted the problem! I cannot thank him enough for taking the time to ensure my safety and later fixing the problem! 10/10 all day long!

Brilliant service from start to finish. Very professional, would definitely recommend and will definitely be using again.

Great clean service. I appreciate the support and clean installation

Greg was thorough and patient, took the time to explain findings to us, and ensured measures were taken to 'make safe' the issues identified. He also followed up in the evening with a text to check that the light was functioning properly when it was dark.

My sockets lost power and Greg asked me for a photo of the consumer box switches. After reviewing those he spotted that an important switch that I didn’t know the purpose of was in the off position. Greg responded quickly when I asked for help and refitted three new replacement lamps with speed and efficiency. Charged a fair price and was very straightforward to work with - will use him in the future. Nine months late (June 2024) used Greg to change the Fusebox for the whole house supply - a major job. Completed in one day to my complete satisfaction. He met some challenges along the way in terms of some eccentric wiring, which he sorted methodically and care. As always, a fair price and a high quality job. Really happy to have him in my contacts and is my first point of contact if I have a problem.
