We needed to get some external security lights replaced and have an outdoors power socket installed. From the moment we contacted them looking for a quote, their service was brilliant - I cannot fault them. We were kept informed throughout the process and quickly answered any questions we had. They turned up exactly as promised and worked quickly and were very tidy. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be using DNA again for any future electrical work.

This company serviced my solar panels system and carried out an EICR check and report. These guys are fantastic at what they do. Polite, courteous and go above and beyond to make sure the work is complete. Now I’ve found them I wouldn’t go anywhere else, fantastic job.

It was Really easy to book work , quick response to emails and phone calls. We had a great service, we needed several light switches changing. These were completed as well as advice/ recommendations made due to us not having the correct switches. Our dimmer switch proved to be troublesome but our electrician returned the next day to resolve this without additional change. Felt really happy and comfortable with what was completed. All costings and work was explained in full with no pressure put on us to proceed at all. We already have the team booked in for further work. Thank you

Exceptional Service from DNA Renewables I am absolutely thrilled with the work DNA Renewables did on my solar installation. To be honest, I was a bit nervous at first when a very young lad named Alfie arrived at my door and introduced himself as part of the installation team. My first thought was, "Wait, what?" I assumed he was perhaps just there to assist the main engineering team with the heavy lifting. A few minutes later, two other young men arrived—slightly older than Alfie, but still a very young crew. I’ll admit I was skeptical, but I took reassurance from the handshake I’d had with Dave, the manager who had organized the project. The team didn't waste a second; they asked precise questions about my requirements and meticulously explained every detail of how the process would develop. After about 20 minutes of introductions, they got straight to work. I was still a bit worried about what such a young team could deliver, especially Alfie, who stayed inside to work on the main area around the meter, fuse box, and main panel while the others worked outside. Because I wasn't entirely at ease, I kept a close eye on things. However, after a few hours, I saw that Alfie was doing a remarkably neat and professional job. My mindset shifted completely—it was clear that despite their age, this team was incredibly skilled. From that moment on, I felt total confidence in their hands. They managed to complete the entire high-spec install—including 20 Aiko 480W panels, the 6kW Sigenergy inverter, and the 10kWh Sigstore battery—in just five days. The DNA team’s attention to detail was incredible. They handled the complex wiring and system integration with total responsibility , ensuring everything was tidy and running perfectly. They took the time to explain the Sigenergy ecosystem and made sure I was comfortable with the monitoring before they left. It is rare to find a company that balances such high-speed delivery with such high-quality workmanship. The system itself is a perfect . Those 20 Aiko panels are incredibly efficient, pulling in massive amounts of energy even during overcast spells, and they look sharp on the roof. The 10kWh Sigstore battery easily carries the house through the evening, and the software provides lightning-fast, real-time data on my savings. Don't let the youth of the team fool you—Alfie and his colleagues are absolute pros. I had DNA solutions to install solar panels and battery system to my property. David turned up and was very informative on what I could install and the scalability of the system going forward. I went with a 10 panel install and 9kw battery by SiigEnergy. The team installing were great and I had extra jobs to remove a pipe in the roof to add extra panel. Install was great and very clean and professional install. I’ve already spoken to them to add more to the system later in the year next year as I expand on this great platform. David and Alfie are a credit and very helpful. David helped with switch energy tariff and setting up export and support for the time it takes to get it all online. Alfie for all the cabling and fun with replacing a meter that was showing import only. I have already recommended to a friend who is going to use them for solar install. The saving are amazing at the moment that in a week the energy company owe me money as the export covers both the elector and gas prices.

Thoroughly nice guy David. Took the time and effort to familiarise himself with my property, which is a Buy2Let. Followed by a quote. As a landlord I at least look for and compare two quotes, each with same scope of work. The price considerably lower from other quote by over £750.00 . A 13% saving. David and his team need to review their market pricing.

We have used DNA electrician's for 7 lighting jobs in our house, each time we found them excellent, very fair and helpful and also very considerate regarding removing shoes before walking on carpets which we really appreciate. They have always done a really good job. We wouldn't use anyone else.

The one thing that that I liked was the card said no job to small! The booking process was very easy and quick. They also turned up when they said they would. Eventually had success repairing the wiring to box in the airing cupboard. ..a simple repair apparently but difficult to diagnose,a mistake by the original sparkle who updated the box a year ago. He never did return after i told him it was NOT working correctly I was beginning to lose faith in the integrity and abilities of so called "EMERGENCY" FIRMS who seemed to lose heart whenever a job seemed to be a bit complicated. Needed help finding an electrical fault (botched DIY job), remembered I had a leaflet through the door a while ago so thought I'd give DNA Electrical a call. Super friendly, quick and professional, sorted the issue in no time. Would absolutely recommend.

We needed an electrician to diagnose a double socket fault in our garage, another fault in our kitchen and some exposed revealed wires after we removed an old rotten conservatory. We found DNA through a local Facebook group with many recommendations and always prefer to support local businesses. Start to finish was great, clear communication, timings and the fault was rectified with a follow up for an outdoor double socket and some remedial recommendations on our old and poorly wired house from a previous tenant who tried everything under the sun themselves. I would highly recommend using this team.

The ceiling light was pulled off of the ceiling leaving us with no lights upstairs we got DNA POWER Solutions number out of the corby trader we thought we had used then before and as really good tradesmen are few and far between overall but as it happened they were not the company we thought but as it happens we were lucky we choose then they came and did the job the same day they kept us updated about arrival were on time , respectful and did the job to a high standard and not over priced this is the company we will be using in the future would recommend everybody to do the same

On explaining my issue the lady who answered the phone was very helpful in finding a suitable date for an engineer to visit. Had a number of new lights installed and a new plug socket in the garage. DNA provided the quote quickly and wasn’t long before they had given us a date to complete the work. They turned up when they said they would, which is rare these days. The electrician doing the work was calmly efficient, got on with the work with minimum of disruption. And were accommodating when I said it would be great to do the work as quick as possible. I asked someone else for a quote and they never turned up. So it was nice to have someone who kept to their word. When the work was finished, the guys cleaned everything. It wasn’t an issue but it seemed the solution needed slightly adjusting. Ciaran who manages appointments in the diary was really helpful in fixing a date for David's initial visit to discuss the work I wanted. That visit reassured me of his company's approach to the work. The subsequent visit he made to assess the entire electrics of my home proved his professionalism and I was pleased I had asked them to undertake the work. On the day Michael and Ryan arrived punctually, cheerfully introduced themselves and had a really clear understanding of the schedule of works agreed with David after his last visit. I left them to get on with the works and returned some six hours later to find the job virtually complete. Just a few things David needed to sign off and they were ready to leave me. All of the agreed work had been completed, with some last minute amendments made by me and readily incorporated into the job. Michael and Ryan left my home clean and tidy and the quality of finish around newly installed power sockets etc was immaculate. I FULLY recommend DNA. I heard of DNA Father and Son's Electrical through an ad in the 4 Locals magazine, like many people we have often struggled to find reliable trades people, but the wording in the ad caught my eye and I thought I would give them a try. The response to my e mail was quick and a quote for the work and a date for carrying out the work were offered. We accepted the quote and the work was carried out within a few days of first contact. David and Dad have carried out work in both my Mums property and my own recently. I found DNA in a google search. David came to quote promptly. He is very easy to talk to and not at all intimidating as some tradesmen can be. The work was scheduled and completed perfectly and without a hitch. David and his Dad work hard and are very tidy. Communication was excellent throughout, quotes and invoices arrived quickly and were clear. Appointment times were confirmed and adhered to. Texts received on the day to confirm David on the way. We heard about DNA Father and Son`s Electrical Ltd in one of the local trade magazines. Having been let down by other tradespeople in the past we were somewhat cautious. However, we need not have worried as DNA Father and Son`s Electrical Ltd came up trumps. Their booking process was easy to use, they arrived on time for both the initial visit and on the agreed date to complete the works. They even used a tracking system to show when they were on their way. We needed several pieces of work done and this was all completed in a professional and friendly manner with advice on the best solutions provided where necessary. They left nothing to clear up afterwards, all wiring offcuts being removed from site; and a very affordable bill at the end of the day. All in all an excellent company to work with and I have no trouble in recommending them.

DNA Father&Sons were recommended to me by a friend who had used them to rewire his flat. I can say I'm not disappointed, carried out a very thorough testing on the electric circuits before upgrading my very old consumer unit, of which he did an immaculate job. Also bonded the gas meter to the water supply. They had to switch me back to plastic pendant lights in some of the rooms as they didn't confirm to UK safety code. So beware what lights you buy off the big two selling sites, and let the place looking spic and span. Would I use them again, certainly, already lining up the next job

Found them via Checkatrade, they were really responsive, turned up when they said they would, did a high quality job with quality parts and tidied up after themselves when they left. Neat little touches like the SMS message to let me know they're on the way, where I can track their arrival time, were an added bonus. Will use again.

Found this company through 4Locals , have been let down by another for relatively small jobs .Dave responded quickly with a date and a text to say he was on his way . Contacting them was easy and getting a quote after a visit to my property was seemless. Booking in the work needed was straightforward and the correspondence received was extremely useful before booking anything in.
