Engaged M. D. Johnson to install an electric vehicle charger at my property. The company are OZEV approved installers but unlike others, Mark took the time to visit the property and understand the job. Mark was clear about how to conceal the cable between the charge point and consumer unit. When I checked other quotations the small print confirmed others had only allowed to surface mount the cable which would have been unsightly. Adam and Alfie turned up at the time agreed and completed the job within 3 hours - concealing the cable as Mark had described. This was no easy task but they made it look easy. The quality of the install exceeded my expectations, Adam and Alfie staying on at the end to help me register the charger and complete the setup. Installation certificate arrived promptly the next day. Exceptional service, clear communication, quality job, fair price. RECOMMEND

I have used M D Johnson Electrical on a number of projects in my home and for my business, including rewiring, new electrical installation and electrical testing and safety certificates. The service they provide is excellent and all their staff are very knowledgeable. If you are looking for any electrical work to be done I can't recommend Marc, Barry and the team highly enough.

MD Johnson sorted out a nightmare socket that two big companies couldn't handle. Five stars. I asked MD Johnson to install an electric car charger and replace two power sockets, but the real challenge was when one specific socket under the sink was surrounded by pipework, and had always worked intermittently.  Every time it failed, we had to run an extension lead across the kitchen just to use the dishwasher and macerator. It was a permanent frustration. I used to have the electrical cover with British Gas. They'd come out and temporarily fix it, but the fault always came back. I'd have to then book another call out. When I moved to HomeServe, they sent an engineer who said they couldn't even start the job without a plumber disconnecting the pipework first, even though I have both electrical and plumbing cover with them. They couldn't get the trades out on the same day. MD Johnson was completely different. They looked at the awkward location with all the pipework and just got on with it. No excuses. "No, you'll need another engineer first." They replaced the troublesome socket properly, worked carefully around the pipes, and now it's been 100% reliable. No more extension lead trailing across the kitchen floor. They also did a great job on the EV charger and the other socket. After years of being passed between British Gas and HomeServe, it's such a relief to have found a firm that actually solves problems instead of creating more appointments. If you want a company that turns up, uses their initiative and gets the job done, I'd highly recommend MD Johnson Electrical Ltd.

Outstanding work by a highly professional electrician. I Called this company on the thursday as one side of my kitchen, ie 5 sockets just stopped working. I was sent a lovely guy called Iwan the very next day on the friday! He was extremely thorough and very pleasant. He put me at ease immediately and found the cause of the problem quickly. Within 45 minutes he had concluded the job and gave me all the necessary information i needed going forward. I would highly recommend! I will also add that he put everything back where he found it and left my home tidy and in order. Thank you Iwan!

Initially, we went to MD Johnson to install a cold-water pump in our new home. Barry came around and did a great job with the pump installation; professional, courteous and efficient. After that good experience, I then used MD Johnson Electrical for a couple of EICRs on some rental properties. They did a great job of the EICRs and the remedial works that followed. My tenants told me that the MD Johnson team were prompt, professional, tidy and courteous. They even popped back to one of the properties to check on a query I had, with no extra charge. More recently, they solved a troublesome lighting problem with my kitchen. Marc researched the best options, proposed solutions and then went ahead with a seamless install. Now we have amazing lighting in our kitchen to the extent that every time we switch the lights on, it brings a smile to my face! I would wholeheartedly recommend Marc, Barry and the MD Johnson Electrical team to friends, family and colleagues.

Excellent service from start to finish. New consumer unit - latest spec, fitted alongside fitting Solar batteries, inverters and other paraphernalia and wiring in the Solar Panels. Very polite workforce, knowledgeable and efficient. Cleaned up after themselves including removal of all packaging and old equipment. The team consisted of Marc (boss man) Adam and Scott. Each had their own jobs to do and worked well together. All three were happy to answer questions and provided advice and guidance.

Barry Smith from MD Johnson Electrical Ltd came to replace my old fuse board with the latest up-to--date and very high-tech one on the market. He also replaced my two very tired looking, broken outside lights, with two that come on with a welcoming yellow glow when I drive in. Barry was polite and courteous throughout, nothing was too much trouble, and he cleared up all rubbish/cable pieces both inside and out. We used MD for some minor works last year based on a recommendation. They were very friendly and efficient and we will definitely be using them for all future electrical work.
