Louis is a first class electrician. He is punctual, polite and tidy but far more important he is extremely thorough in his work. He explains everything clearly so that non electricians like me understand what is going on. I trust him with the electrical work in my house.

Just moved to Chester and needed 7 light fittings put up. Turned to Google reviews for a recommendation and found Louis. His other 5 star reviews are entirely justified and I am happy to add my own. His price was fair. He was punctual, polite and a meticulous worker. Thanks you Louis and we will definitely return to you for future work.

We had some electrical repair work undertaken by Louis today. We found him extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, efficient, polite and a very clean worker. We would have to hesitation on calling on Louis again and would highly recommend him.

We recently had extensive work completed by Louis, including the installation of an EV charger, outdoor lighting, and a full internal rewiring. Throughout the entire process, Louis consistently delivered work to the highest standard. Louis was fantastic in guiding us through the planning stages of the rewire, offering expert advice and patiently answering all our questions in detail. He often highlighted aspects we hadn’t yet considered, ensuring that every angle was covered. Thanks to his insight, our home is now in a much better place! Additionally, Louis was always clear and prompt in his communication, fully reliable and true to his word. He even left the house cleaner than it was when he began. We had a problem with the bathroom light and although Louis was very busy he managed to fit us in the next morning. He was efficient, polite, tidy and the job was carried out at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend him.

Have used Louis’s services a number of times for a few jobs. He is polite, punctual and thorough and his work is second to none. He is also the tidiest tradesman you will ever come across! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him, his 5 star reviews speak for themselves…. :D

I just had a load of spot lights fixed as they had stopped working. I got in touch with Louis about the problem and he came to the property the very next day and got the job done very quickly and in a timely manner. He even went out of his way to fix more safety related problems I had at the house and all done at a good price. Louis is very friendly and professional, would highly recommend getting in touch with him if you have any problem's.

We were having problems with our kitchen lights so contacted Louis to see if he could help. He came the following day to assess the situation and sent a quote the same day. He came round two days later and completed the work to a very high standard, keeping us informed every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Louis and would definitely use him again.

Super efficient and flexible to fit round my work. Very knowledgeable and advised me on another issue. Great job!

Recently had an extractor fan installed by Louis, and it’s been a real game changer. Louis was really professional and completed the job to a very high standard indeed.

Louis swapped out the inadequate number of sockets in our lounge, study and 2 of the bedrooms for multiple double sockets in each room and also did us an external, weather protected socket outside. Louis was always courteous, polite and explained what he was doing and why at each stage. I was amazed at how clean and tidy he left the places he worked and how very little reparation was required despite the holes he needed to cut to house the new sockets. he repaired the plaster where required and all i needed to do was 10 mins emulsion touch up around the house. highly recommended.

Being new to the area Louis was recommended to us and I am so glad he was his price was extremely competitive he arrived on time and on the days we had agreed. The bungalow needed a full refurbishment A full rewire out door iighting bathroom extractor/ceiling fan as well as new light fitments throughout Louis fitted in around the other trades .His input was invaluable to us often steering us in the right direction .His workmanship is exceptional clean and tidy I would highly recommend him for all your electrical needs

Louis came recommended when our daughter needed her kitchen lights replacing. We were impressed by his work. So recently we had no problem in asking him for a quote to rewire our bungalow. He asked us what we wanted and then advised and suggested options. His quote was clear and reasonable. Louis kept us informed during the work. He was polite and worked to a high standard, giving us the necessary certificates on completion. We highly recommend Louis.

He arrived on time and he was professional and informative. He was also polite, even to my most inquisitive house member (the dog). I would definitely recommend.

Louis was excellent. Punctual, polite, fairly priced and a very professional job. More than happy to use his services again and to recommend him

Louis done a full rewire on our house recently, and he did an amazing job. Everything was planned properly, and executed accordingly. Even though there was some setback because of some unforeseen circumstances, he made sure everything is up to standards. He is really helpful, reliable, quick to reply, highly recommended.

Very professional and knowledgeable, highly recommend! Louis helped fit some electrical switches which I had managed to break.

Superb job completed by Louis. Professional, courteous, reliable, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to have in your home. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he went to great efforts completing the job to a very high standard and kindly ordered spare bulbs for us. Trustworthy and honest advising us regarding saving money regarding wiring to the boiler. I would have no hesitation in recommending Louis to anyone and he will certainly be our electrician for any future work.

Highly recommend. Excellent service. Would definitely ask Louis for any future work.

Louis works incredibly hard and has the highest standards of workmanship and cleanliness. First class!

I won't normally use anyone that friends and family haven't recommended, but was struggling to get someone to replace two mains fitted smoke alarms that a new build developer had fitted, that had caused me no end of trouble. So I used google reviews to find LGH. From initial contact Louis was professional, honest and most importantly, arrived when he said he would! He recommended a product and fitted them, leaving me clear instructions on use. I will be sure to use him again, trusted him completely and am made up with the job he's done. The invoice process is thorough and a clear record of the work completed. I'm telling everyone about him, but may end up struggling to get a slot in his diary if I tell too many!

LGH came around to inspect our new house and rewire some switches. He was thoroughly professional and did an amazing job.

Louis was reliable, hardworking, polite and did a great job for us. Very happy to recommend.

Friendly and reliable, very good standard of work carried out on time and very fair price. Would definitely use again. Ron Fitch

Louis is competent, conscientious, competitive, reliable and a really nice bloke. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and would definitely recommend him to others.

Great service, provided a quick and reasonable quote and carried out the work days later to a high standard. Kept me informed about all parts of the work while on site so there were no surprises. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Wow.If you need an electrician look no further. Louis did a full rewire on a house 300+ years old.It was a real challenge for him but he took it by the horns and my goodness did he do a thorough job. He took his time and discussed any issues he encountered and because of the state of the current wiring there were more than a few. He has became one of the family. The rewire has yet to be complete but I have no doubt I will not feel the need to change anything in this review. He's reliable and lets you know if he is experiencing any delays. Thanks Louis. When we have our first BBQ in this our new house you will have an invite.

Louis is reliable and keeps in touch throughout. He is polite and checks everything thoroughly I would highly recommend LGH Electrical
