Fantastic experience from start to finish. Jason was brilliant from the first visit and spoke through with me the different options available for replacing my current electric heater to a storage one. The quote for all of the works - installation of the storage heater (and everything that goes with it) along with new sockets and moving of items, was very fairly priced, specially when storage heaters are not cheap! There was some additional cabling needed on the day due to the previous owners electrician not replacing what was needed prior - but Jason explained this all on the day. The team were also very friendly - Paul and Billy made fuss of my rescue throughout the day and let me see what was being done. Highly recommended and will be using them again for future works.

Had Able Cable come out to fit an extractor fan in our bathroom and the guys were very professional and friendly. They did an excellent job and we're very happy to not be showering with the window open anymore!

Very disappointing service. Had used the company once previously for a routine job which they completed to a reasonable standard without any issues. I recently employed them to perform an EICR, the invoice fee received was twice that agreed. I attempted to discuss this with Nicky who immediately became very aggressive. she did offer to settle at the original fee but insisted that I was incorrect about the agreed fee. I provided evidence of the standard fees, (something which Nicky had sarcastically asked me to do) in a diplomatic email where I was attempting to return communication to a professional level. Nicky responded with an email effectively telling me to keep my money and that they would not do business with me again. I was taken aback by the unprofessionalism displayed in this event and how hostile Nicky became when I challenged the disparity in fees. I would have been cautious about doing further business with this company after this experience.

Paul came round to update our old fuse board and grounded the gas meter. Was polite, got the job done in a timely manner and had decent rates. I would use their services again in a heartbeat.

My first dealings with Able Cable, and I can honestly say you have a customer for life if you’ll come back! I had to external power sockets fitted last week, the guys were great, turned up early and even hoovered up at the end. From my first call, the job was completed within the week. The customer service from Nicky, Jason and Roo was second to none. I had one minor issue which they went over and above to resolve quickly and without issue. Thank you so much. Roo is an absolute credit to you, and what a lovely team you are.

My husband spoke to Nicky on the phone on a Saturday afternoon and she talked him through a reset of our consumer unit which saved us a lot of hassle over the weekend and an electrician's visit. Extremely helpful and great service! Will definitely use again.

We had a full house rewire done. This was a really big job but they managed to do the work with as little cosmetic damage as possible. The engineers were all knowledgeable and friendly and were always happy to answer any questions we had. Considering the fact that it was a full rewire they managed to keep power downs to a minimum meaning we were able to live at the house while they worked. While it wasn't cheap, the quote was reasonable based on my research and the end bill was in line with the quotation. The work also came with a years guarantee which gives peace of mind. Overall I was very impressed and would use them again.

A good reliable company who offer a first class service. Electrician arrived at the time set and carried out the work with minimum disruption also advising on disposal of old parts. Payment was made to the price quoted. I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending this company and would definitely use them again if the need arose.

Had a issue with my electricity this morning. My wife who is wheelchair bound.Able cable electricians Phone them this morning spoke to a very helpful lady. Who talked me through how to reset my fuse board. It worked so up and running again. I know some companies would have changed a call out fee. So I would just like to say thank you to the company and the lady I spoke with.

I've used Able Cable for various repairs to sockets and light fittings. They also fixed an odd cabling issue in our kitchen. Each time the office was professional in booking me in, they turn up on time, explain the job to you and tidy up when they are done. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Wonderful service from Able Cable! Early this year had ring doorbell wired installed. Jason worked out how to join into old doorbell wiring. He took time doing the job carefully and left me with doorbell functioning well and wiring inside house very much neater than it had ever been.

Roo and Paul did a very good job to satisfaction installing my electric radiators and circuit board. They arrived for work on time and were very professional and pleasant. They cleaned up after the job was completed. Job well done and I highly recommend and would use them again.

Jason and able cable are the only electrician's I would trust with my electrics in my house. Not only are they polite and friendly but they are also very punctual and affordable with no job too much of an issue. Able Cable have recently carried out a lot of work at our home, including a new fuse box and ring main for the upstairs. From start to finish, we have been delighted with the service from Able Cable. Nicky is a joy to speak to and organised everything so smoothly and quickly for us, Jason is so knowledgable and gave up a lot of time to kindly explain to me everything we needed doing. I called this company late on a Sunday evening for what I assumed would be a call out….the woman on the phone was extremely helpful, talked us through the issue and all was resolved in a matter of minutes! She saved us all time and me money! Absolutely recommend!

I can't fault Able Cable at all. I've used them a couple of times now to add new sockets in the lounge (a double straight to the fuse board & a single socket spliced off existing sockets), centre the lights in the main bedroom and office upstairs, change a tired pendant light to a new LED strip and make a light switch safe to be changed to a chrome switch. I wouldn't look to hire anyone else at this point and I'm looking forward to hiring them again after my holiday to fit an extractor fan, centre some more lights and fit an external light. Cannot recommend these guys enough - very friendly, very efficient, tidied up some complicated wiring & gave me a bit of advice regarding filler for the ceilings and around the new socket.

Brilliant experience with Able Cable! Will use again! On my initial phone enquiry I was given advice about my warranty cover, which would have meant they would have lost a job from me. Very open and honest of them. I got a couple of quotes and their prices were good/fair. When they were doing the work they told me one of the jobs was easier than they expected so reduced the price. They were generous with advice. They gave me options/solutions that I hadn't even considered which was great. They clearly love what they do and keep up-to-date with the latest changes in the industry. This time they fixed a power issue, moved a radiator, added new socket and switch. They were very thoughtful about the aesthetics, every thing is level/straight, perfectly positioned, and well spaced so looks good as well as works! And very importantly, they turned up and as agreed! Reliability and time keeping were spot on. I'm very happy with the whole experience - thanks Jason, Paul and the office.

Had them do a couple of jobs for me. Quick, efficient and not overpriced, I would certainly recommend them. They can get busy ,but if you have to wait it’s well worth it.
