Fastric Electrical Services (Cambridge)

Had a power cut from plug spark. Called for help and helped immediately over phone by sending pictures of switches on a weekday evening. All fixed. Thank you!

Fastric did some remedial work on a recent house purchase and I couldn't be happier with the quality and price. Communication was excellent. Would recommend.

Very good in every respect. Prompt, organised, thorough with very good communication and helpful advice given.

Amazing services with great prices

Very quick efficient, polite and respectful.

Mahbub is an excellent electrician, helpful, honest, reliable and effective! Always providing the best advice from him, couldn’t ask more! Best luck for 2026 :-)

Great service, reasonable pricing. Upgraded radiators in our flat at short notice and helped us avoid the cold.

Efficient and reliable

Fast, reliable, friendly service. 10/10 recommend

Came and solved the issue quickly and efficiently

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had with any service! Super friendly, quick, and professional — I sent over a photo of the job and got a fair quote within minutes. The work was done fast, and the finish was way cleaner than I expected. If you ever need anything electrical, Fastric Electrical Services is the one. No exaggeration — just honest, top-quality work. Keep it up! I’ll definitely be calling again next time something sparks up (hopefully not literally 😅).

One of the most efficient and friendly people that I have seen do a job so effortlessly. I initially called and within minutes gave me a reasonable quote after sending him an image of the work needed to be done. Truly impressed how quick it was with the finish being also an aspect I did not expect to be so clean. If you want to a service in relation to electricity, Fastric Electrical Services is the one to go to - no word of exaggeration. Keep up the good work and will definitely use this service given I encounter a problem again!

Best in town!

Fastric is really fast to rescue. I accidentally drilled the live wire and caused tripping. He arrived in 2 hours after I called and got it done in an hour. The price is also very reasonable!

Very quick and reliable.

Excellent work, highly recommend

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Electrician Review I recently hired Mr Mahbub for some electrical work at my property, and I couldn't be happier with the service. From the start, they were punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the issue clearly and offered practical solutions without trying to upsell anything unnecessary. The work was completed to a very high standard, with great attention to detail and safety. They left the area clean and tidy afterward, which I really appreciated. It's clear they take pride in their work and care about customer satisfaction. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy electrician, I highly recommend [Name]. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future electrical jobs.

Called the emergency number as we had lost power to some sockets, we were given 10/10 advice which solved our problem, saved us a lot of time, stress and potentially money. Cannot recommend their services enough.

Quick response time and resolved my issue immediately - great service!

Excellent service. Fast, efficient. Would absolutely recommend

Excellent service! I was really impressed with this electrician. He has done a great job at a very reasonable price. He was very responsive and seemed like a really nice person. I hope to get him in to do some more work soon.

I had a shorted EV charger fuse and Mahbub was quick to identify the issue, as well as getting the spare parts needed to replace and resolve the issue, all within 24hrs of it happening. Super quick and friendly, will definitely go to him again for his services in the future!

Amazing service, Mahboub was very helpful, responsive and punctual, he sorted the issue within 5mins, five stars service, I would definitely use again

Fastric Electrical Services is the best electrician we ever had, he’s professional, friendly and super tidy! Excellent job, completed to a high standard. All work done with minimal disruption and all work areas left clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Used their service on three different occasions and I am a very happy customer. Quick response, very professional, reasonable rates and comes up with the right solution.

Great work! Extremely thorough. Completed on time. Really knowledgeable. Affordable. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

I made a booking one week in advance. The time and date were set. Fastric didn't arrive. When I called he said 'Oh, sorry, ermm, uhh, I must have double booked, can I come tomorrow?' Thanks

Came out same day and did the repair however didn't inform me of how he was going to finish up and despite me saying I needed to be able to put it back to how it was originally before the issue, he installed a plate with a metric tonne of silicone sealant rather than plasterboard compound

The work was professional and efficient. They were very responsive and clearly explained the work they were going to perform. We are very happy with the results, and would recommend their services to anyone in need of electrical work.

Called out on Sunday afternoon and arrived a few hours later. Quickly resolved problem at a reasonable price, can't really ask for more tbh.

This is a high recommendation for Fastric Electrical Services. Attended at short notice to test for a EICR; went very much above and beyond in sourcing parts on a Saturday afternoon; ensured all electrical systems functioning safely; fitted a light; gave good advice. And a pleasure to meet.

I am very happy with Fastric electrical service, the electrician took time to explain what the problem is and give me the honest and fair quote for the job , the quality of the work is excellent I highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend FES in Cambridge. They respond very promptly and still handling my (a little bit urgent) request even when it’s close to the Xmas holiday. The electrician (sorry I forgot to ask your name) is very friendly and processional. He helped me change the spotlights very quickly and efficiently, and told me if anything wrong feel free to call them. Now the lights working well and thank you so much!

Highly recommend. Very responsive and helpful.

Very good price and excellent worker

Very good and efficient service, reasonable price and professional 👏

What a gem! He was able to come very promptly to sort out several bits and pieces around the house. He communicates really well, and gives several solutions to all of the jobs he tackled. I can't recommend him enough. Thank you Mahbub!!

Fantastic! Professional and on point. Very fair price and extremely friendly so easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend and will most certainly be using his services again. A true gentleman aswell I might add!

I am very happy with the work done. Very friendly. Very reliable. Very neat work.

Fabulous service! Would thoroughly recommend.

Great service. Would definitely use Fastric electrical again. I would most certainly recommend.

Lights suddenly went out and we could not figure out what was wrong. We called Fastric - he came and sorted the problem in no time. It turned out to be a very simple problem… and he decided not to charge us! That was very generous of him - I will be more than happy to pay for more of his services in the future.

Been trying to get an electrician to look at a plug socket for weeks, Mahbub came the next evening to sort it out. Turned out to be an easy fix and he didn't even charge me! Will use again

Mahbub was recommended to me by a friend and I hired him to do the full rewire of my 2 bedroom flat. It was not an easy electrical project but the team at Fastric were very efficient and experienced. Mahbub gave me great advise along the way and we frequently discussed the best possible solutions. The work was done in a timely manner and within the agreed cost. All the tranches were filled and coving replaced, which was above my expectations. I will hire him for all my subsequent electrical work and would strongly recommend Fastric to anyone.

Definitely to be recommended! Responded really swiftly to a call on Saturday evening and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I will certainly use the polite and professional Mr Rahman again.

So he actually gave me free advice as my kitchen sockets stopped working. What a guy. Will use him if anything else happens

5+ stars!! Excellent fast service. Quality work. Very polite and very proffessional. Fixed a mess we were left with from another builder. Straight away knew how to fix. Not only fixed the mess but improved what we had and exceeeded our expectations. We were charged a very good price as well. Very high Quality tradesman we will definately use for all future electrical needs. Most companies we called got scared and ran away as they were clueless and left us more worried. When Fastric came, straight away they new how to get the job done, and when they came to do it they did it to an amazing standard. Just what you need. There are too may amateur electricians out there who dont know what they are doing and try to rip you off and make things sound inpossible. We have recieved certificates from Fastric and they have notified building regulations for us. Very reliable cant get any better than these guys. Thank God we found these guys. Highly reccommend!

Amazing job done by the fastric electric in our house! Everything looks lovely, sorted our electrics out which were so screwed up and complicated, they came and sorted all out for us. Very professional work! And was very comforting to be around them too as they were very kind and helpful. I couldn't thank these guys enough for sorting out our electrics otherwise we would have been sitting in dark!! Would definitely use them in future!

Absolutely amazing job, you can blindly trust this company, I am so relieved with the job done in my home ! Best electrician in Cambridge I would say !

Called up late at night due to a power outtage, managed to help me get back on quick and was very polite and helpful.

I left a message for a quote and within 4 hours the boys where here to fit an external double plug and to fix a faulty double internal socket the price was very reasonable and work was very neat and tidey couldn't recommend highly enough

Installed electric shower, but broke the power cord. Has said he will turn up two days in a row, and hours after he is due to turn up he always texts to say he can't make it and will come the next day. He still hasn't turned up. Will never be using his services again. Edit: after leaving this review, the business owner phoned me and threatened me, said I had mental problems and insulted me.

Very friendly and efficient service - did an excellent job of replacing the fan in my cooker hood. Not an easy job, had to disassemble the whole unit in order to replace the fan. Very impressed, left everything clean and tidy. I can highly recommend them.

💪Great job 👍👌 I am satisfied ☺️ 💯 recommend ♥️ I appreciate your help 👍

Mahbub arrived on time for the appointment, and breezed through the lighting installation job. He's a very friendly guy, too. Overall, great value for money, highly recommended.

The estimate was very competitive and affordable so I agreed for fastric electric to do the work. Engineer Mahbub Rahman did the work. Very polite, professional and honest. He new his stuff came across some complications which he resolved with ease. He even did some extras like changing sockets at no further cost. No hidden charges or extra fees, this is a great company and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a professional certified electrician or heating engineer. Excellent service, very professional and knowledgeable ppl.reasonable price range, it's lovely to do business with you.wish you good luck.

I wish we could give any more STARS than 5. Came promtly to do a small job in my home late in the evening and worked into the night to complete it without any rush. Was very pleased with the JOB and refered to a few friends who echo the same views. Then when we had to do a major rewiring work for my business we contacted him and he matched the quote giving by someone else and said it will take three days to finish. It took more than a week and he never complained and executed the JOB perfectly. Never did he say during the job that he wanted more money as it took longer. Once job completed then we discussed and agreed as we did not imagine overselves it would take than long. I have to say very happy to have used him as if it was anybody else they would start negotations half way through the work. I WILL RECOMMEND AND PROMOTE him to the best of my ability. A wonderful person to work with........use his services and you will SAY are there people like him still around in the TRADE
