Rob has been working on various electrical fittings around my house for several years. He's always prompt, efficient, friendly and takes time to check I know what he's done and why. But, he went the extra mile this last time, by insisting on replacing a light he'd fitted with another, which he thought was a better solution, and by changing existing unsatisfactory supply cables to the fuse box he was replacing - all without charging me and on Good Friday in order to complete the job as soon as possible. That's what I call wonderful service.

Absolutely amazing customer service. I called Rob at 9 in the morning on a Sunday and he diagnosed and helped me fix the problem over the phone straight away. For any issues in the future, I will definitely be calling Rob. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely brilliant customer service! We needed to get the power back on early one morning and they returned our call and gave us some invaluable suggestions of things to check. We had lost all of our power on a Sunday morning and couldn't work out how to get it back. Rob at DS Elelctrical was the only person to return our call (and within 5 minutes). He managed to sort out our problem over the phone, with no charge. He was friendly and very helpful.

Over the last year, Rob has performed an electrical inspection of my flat and also replaced a shaver light with a LED mirror in the bathroom. Both works were carried out thoroughly, and as per the agreed timeframe and quote. He explained the outcome of the inspection to us (in person) in detail, outlining all risks very clearly - and also what were the possible solutions. His work ethic is impeccable and I cannot recommend him highly enough. A very good-natured and obliging professional. (6 stars)

DO NOT USE THEM! They left wires live wires hanging out of walls with my 6 year old running around Left live wire under Ireland in kitchen. I had two electricians in to install our oven and refused as they said it was the wrong fitting for the oven. Left wires outside in the garden which were also live that my six year old actually picked up and almost killed himself. They are dangerous. Do not under any circumstances.use this company.

Rob came and fitted some new light switches and new double socket in the kitchen. Was able to source almost identical one from the picture I sent to his phone. Took him about 30mins. Came across as very competant and knowledgeable. I.D. Cherry Hinton.

We always use Rob for all our electrical needs. Most recently he fitted many plug sockets and moved light switches in our house. He was extremely accommodating as we had other works soon after, Rob was able to get the job done on time. Thank you :)

I wanted four double sockets and a double light switch replaced to some new ones that I had bought. Rob was very quick to give me a quote and arrange a time that was suitable for both of us. COVID measures were in place and the job was done promptly. I would recommend them and will be using them in the future for all other electrical works that I have. 17/10/2022 I reached out to Rob to see if he could change the speed setting on my bathroom extractor fan. He gave me a call on the same day and gave me instructions on how to do it myself, saving me £89 on a call out fee. I absolutely rate his service. I appreciate a tradesman who explains how to do jobs.

I manage my mother's house in Cambridge from Doncaster. Recently we have required a lot of electrical work including the installation of electric heaters, fault finding, a new consumer unit and a number of other repairs and upgrades. I found that Rob communicated promptly and was prepared to take the time to give advice, answer questions and discuss problems both over the phone, text and email. The jobs were carried out well with no mess. DS electrical seem like a very professional firm. I live too far away to be present when work is done but I feel I can trust this company to offer a professional service.

Where can I start. Having contacted rob to resite a switch , he identified that we had further non compliant original wiring.
