Had no hot water, waited days for an appointment (fair enough), they came and looked at the boiler and said they'd order the parts and be in touch, After they'd left the heating also didn't work. I emailed and called for five days before I managed to get in touch with them, the parts hadn't been ordered. No offer to at least fix the heating which had worked before their visit. I got another company to fix the boiler and they pointed out that there were lots of unnecessary parts on the list of parts to order cambs heating had provided. I'd had previous dealings with Cambs Heating and they seemed okay in the past so Mayne management has changed?

Very happy with the work performed by Jake replacing a bedroom radiator. He explained what the job entailed and was excellent in tidying up afterwards, you wouldn’t have known what had been done. I will definitely use Cambs Heating again if I have the need for more work on my central heating.

Contacted Cambs Heating late November as my boiler was leaking water for a service and repair. They cancelled the first appointment the day of and it took multiple attempts at contacting them for them to reschedule the appointment. They implied that there was a chance they'd be able to fix the boiler on the day of the appointment but on the day the engineer told me they carried no parts on the van and that he was only there to service the leaky boiler?! I was told to re contact head office to book the repair in and they would send a quote through, I have heard nothing since from Cambs Heating and was left with a leaky boiler all through the December period. Would give less than 1 star if I could. I have no idea why they thought it was appropriate to service my leaky boiler and ignore the needed repair.

Cracking service - after being messed around by a big company, Cambs Heating sorted out my new boiler quickly and professionally.

We booked a repair for an issue we are having with our heating. Paid £120, the engineer came over, checked the installation and could not figure out what the issue was. Said that he would quote for a follow up to attempt some solutions which could potentially fix the problem, however we never received any follow up. I have attempted to call them numerous times, left voice mails, sent emails, nothing. Very disappointed. I expected more.

We have used Cambs Heating for several jobs now (boiler service, chemical flush, appliance disconnection). On all occasions they have been excellent. Robert and Adam took time to explain what they were doing. Very polite. Very helpful suggestions. Always left the work area tidy. The appointments were scheduled around other work that we had ongoing, and they changed the appliance disconnection a couple of times so that it lined up with when we could get the new cooker/ electrician. We felt guilty about this, but they never once complained. There is a real sense they care about getting things right, and minimising hassle for you. Overall, we feel confident in all the work they do and look forward to using them again.

I booked a boiler repair with this company, expecting fair pricing and professional service. Instead, I was charged £105 for a five-minute visit where nothing was repaired, an experience that has left me feeling entirely misled. The engineer arrived, assessed my boiler, and was inside my home for no more than five - seven minutes, and informed me that he did not have the necessary parts to complete the repair. He then left, saying a quote would be provided for further work. No repair was attempted, no meaningful prolonged diagnosis was conducted, just a brief visit and a promise of a new quote. Shortly afterward, I received a quote for £459.62, with no mention of deducting the £105 I had already paid, despite no work being done. When I asked for this charge to be credited toward the new quote, as any reasonable company would do, I was met with rigid policy talk and a refusal to acknowledge the unfairness of the situation. Instead, they applied a random £49.99 "goodwill discount," which does not even cover the cost of their five-minute visit, let alone provide a fair resolution. When I asked their representative whether the charge I already paid would have been applied if the engineer had the correct parts in the van, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. Instead, I was essentially told, ‘It’s not my fault the engineer didn’t have the parts.’ That kind of response shows a complete lack of responsibility and customer care. If a visit is booked specifically for a repair and no repair is done, the fair and reasonable thing would be to apply that charge toward the future work I was quoted for. That didn’t happen. To be clear: - Their website states that if additional time or parts are required, a quote will be issued for further work, but it does not state that customers should expect to be charged £105 for a visit where absolutely nothing is fixed. - At no point was I made aware that this charge was non-refundable, nor was I given the option to decline the visit under these conditions. - The fact that they refuse to credit the charge toward the actual repair suggests that they prioritize maximizing revenue over treating customers fairly. I fully expect a generic response from the company about their “terms and conditions” or how they “strive to provide excellent service.” But terms and conditions do not justify charging customers £105 for nothing, and excellent service involves fairness and transparency, neither of which I received. This is not a company that I would trust again, nor one I could recommend in good conscience. If you value fair pricing and ethical business practices, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. A fair resolution would have been deducting the £105 from the new quote, anything less is unjustifiable.

Had a great service on my unvented hot water cylinder with Robert who explained things clearly and was patient with a few questions I had. It was really easy to book in too. Thank you very much!

Simply brilliant. I've now used Cambs Heating 4 times, every time its been flawless. Each member of staff has been very friendly and helpful. They've fixed a leaking condense pipe (installed by a lesser company!), serviced the boiler and most recently diagnosed and fixed a blown-up control board in less than 36 hours of me calling on a cold day in November. Unbelievable service. If i could give 10 stars i would. We have struggled with our heating for over 10 years. We have had so many heating engineers over that time. They go to the boiler say that needs replacing and leave. Today was an experience on another level. The engineer Rob. Went round the whole house. Checking all the radiators etc. Our problem was not actually having enough radiators on for the heating to work properly. He has explained exactly what we need to do. Cannot recommend enough. We have just had our back boiler replaced with a combi boiler, and all of our radiators replaced. I am deeply disappointed with Cambs Heating, I was wrongly diagnosed over the phone, quoted and charged for replacing a hot water thermostat that was in working order. When I reported the problem hadn’t been resolved and made a written complaint I was told they considered it a case of self-diagnosis. I resolved the problem via another provider that arranged a diagnostic visit by default, identified a faulty valve and was quicker and better priced. I wouldn’t recommend Cams Heating.

We have been extremely pleased that we choose Cambs Heating to carry out the replacement of 2 boilers at Newnham Walk Surgery. Everyone has been extremely polite and very professional; We knew we were in safe hands! Robert arrived at our place within the time slot booked. He came prepared based on my booking notes and brought couple of parts ready (in case they are the faulty ones). This expedited the work as those parts were needed (one was already causing a leak). He also answered all my questions while repairing the boiler. He was very organized and left the area very clean. Adam did the install and worked hard from 0750 until 1545. He was professional and explained everything he was doing and has appeared to have done a neat and tidy install replacing some old pipe work and using an existing flue. We had a big job with replacement oil powered boiler, hot water tank, removal of water tank in loft and converting to mains water - lots of new pipes and old ones sorted out. Each day a text would come with 35 mins notice of arrival which was useful. Cambs Heating Ltd took 4 days, working hard with extremely pleasant, tidy and professional workers. We booked a boiler repair with Cambs Heating after some previous poor service from another larger heating company. Our engineer was Rob and he was excellent. He was very professional and took time to explain the issue and also what was involved in both the repair and subsequent system checks. It's refreshing these days to have such great customer service. These folks were a delight to deal with. Started with Emma who made it very easy to get the appointment scheduled in around work. Initial communication and diagnostic call-out with Cambs Heating was good but I was disappointed that it took a further 6 days to get the quote through which had been promised to be the day after the visit, and couldn't get through to them over the phone, leaving me without hot water. They ultimately told me they were waiting for their supplier to get back to them. The quote was higher than I expected given the parts that they'd told me it would require and I didn't hear back from them when I asked for a breakdown of the price so I ultimately went with another service for the repair, who completed the work to a good quality and for nearly £200 less than the quote Cambs Heating gave me.

In this case the maintenance work was relatively routine and was done promptly and efficiently. What I was very impressed by was the use of technology by Cambs Heating. Reminders were sent by email and text, I even got a text to tell me that the engineer had finished his last job and was on his way. These things sound trivial, but do make a difference. Cambs Heating carried out full annual service on my Vaillant boiler. The services was easy to book, they arrived on time and were knowedgable about my model of boiler and were efficient and friendly. Also the engineer noticed that the gas mains input pressure was very low and arranged an emergency visit by area services to fit a new mains gas regulating valve. Had this not been spotted the boiler could have certainly failed at Christmas with possibly reduced mains pressure due to increased seasonal demand.. I am very happy with the service I received.

An extremely pleasant young man, Adam has been with us, working like a Trojan all day on a Powerflush and two additional jobs. He was professional and friendly and patiently explained things as he went. He left a top notch impression and everything is now working properly for the first time in months.

We recently had need for an experienced heating engineer to deal with a problem we had with our underfloor heating system, alongside routine boiler maintenance. Cambs Heating Ltd were very quick to respond to our initial enquiry and provided a quotation for the work. As the repair necessitated ordering parts, the work took place over 3 visits. Each one of the engineers with whom we dealt were prompt, professional and most importantly... knew what they were doing! The work was finished in good time and we received the job sheets, service certificates and invoice by email on completion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Their service was first class from start to finish.

We've used Cambs Heating in three separate instances, starting with a routine maintenance of the boiler. The engineer spotted a fault we had someone else investigate with no results, and he immediately provided a solution. The engineer also spotted a pipe joint and informed us he believed was using the wrong fitting. After changing it, it turned out the fitting was indeed completely corroded. Extremely with their service, definitely will use them again for the next maintenance, would definitely recommend.

Had a combi boiler installed by Cambs Heating (replacing a back boiler). They did an excellent job and were polite and professional throughout. We had to call them back afterwards to sort out noise in the pipes (due to the increase in water pressure with the new boiler) which they did in a timely manner for no extra charge.

These people are top professionals. They do what they say, on time and to an exact estimated cost. They were wonderfully courteous and considerate from first contact until the end of the job. They also answered all of my questions and cleaned up thoroughly after their work. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them in the highest possible terms.

Matt was super easy to work with and did a great job installing our new boiler. From setting up times for him to come around, the quality of the installation, and the clean up, everything was super easy. Our whole house used to shake everytime the boiler started up. Matt came over and fixed the problem in under an hour. The house is silent again and better heated as well. Excellent job. Many thanks to Matt!

I contacted Matt for a boiler service and to look at an issue with a radiator which wasn't getting very hot. We arranged the boiler service and Matt tried to help solve the radiator issue over the phone, which is always appreciated if it's something simple which can be resolved quickly. Matt has been punctual and responsive in his approach. He even answered a call early one Sunday morning when i rang him by mistake! I can't fault Matt with his approach. He's carried out the works to a high standard, resolved any issues we asked him to look at and even fixed a leaking outside tap whilst carrying out his work. To top it off, he's a genuine bloke who conducts himself to a high standard. I was a little loathe to write this review, so as not to let the secret out. However good work deserves recognition and i'll be setting a reminder to get Matt back for the next boilder service. All the best for the future!

Rang them out of the blue as our heating wasn't working, and Matt helped me out over the phone. After 5 min, the house is heating up already and I didn't even had anyone come out, or charge me anything. Kind and helpful, highly recommended!!
