Dave and team are fantastic. They've worked on my house on various projects over the last 5 years. Booking is super easy, and communication from Dave is great. The team always turn up when agreed, they're tidy and did a great job, changing lights and faceplates, installing new internal and external sockets.

We recently used Vector Electric to carry out an electrical home buyers report on a property we planned to buy. UPDATE: we've just used the services of Vector Electric again, to have some minor works carried out at home. The process was nice and easy from booking in the job, to the electricians turning up on time, until they left without a trace a couple of hours later. Couldn't recommend enough.

We used Vector Electric to replace our consumer unit and upgrade our earth cables. David and his team were very professional and knowledgeable. They were also proactive in arranging the day and time for undertaking the works as well as checking in a few days prior. They arrived on time and undertook the works promptly, tidying up afterwards too. The advice they provided in terms of the scope of works needed and the sequence of works was invaluable. So I needed to find an old lighting cable that had been plastered into the wall. The electrician found the cable and boxed it. Pleased with the outcome. The house is safe.
Had my electrics upgraded a few weeks back to fit a new oven and hob. The engineers very friendly and helpful. Gave me a quote from the pictures I sent and arranged a very quick date. Had the required electrical safety certificates which a lot of the cheaper ones didn't have. Its simply not worth the risk to save a few pounds as it invalids the home insurance. In short well worth the money

David's appointment, quotation and invoicing online system is very efficient. David gave helpful advice and suggestions when visiting for quotation. Ed and Fenton were neat and tidy, and very pleasant to have in the house.
I needed to have an EICR for a kitchen that I rent out so I contacted Vector Electrics to arrange an appointment. David was very patient and obliging although I had to change the date a few times. I’ve experienced electricians who were hours late or even a day late in the past but Vector Electrics turned up at exactly 8.00 am which was so refreshing. I received the report the next day, all in all a totally reliable service. I would highly recommend giving Vector Electrics a call!

Excellent service thank you David, following a recommendation from my usual gas fitter. The job was completed very promptly, enabling the boiler to function with restoration of the hot water supply. The tenant was extremely impressed by the service too!

Vector Electric's electricians were brilliant. They were efficient, thorough, polite, flexible, and somehow managed to focus on achieving what we needed with a VERY noisy and curious autistic 6 year-old in the background (or rather, exactly where they needed to be working!) but they were kind and courteous and patient the whole time. The work they did was first rate and the guidance we got throughout our enquiries up to the point of delivery was excellent. I would absolutely make them the first recommendation for electrical work in this area.

I have used Vector Electrical on two occasions, once to wire up an extractor fan in our kitchen and once to install a video doorbell. On both occasions the work was carried out promptly and efficiently. The extractor fan installation was not the easiest task as it involved running a cable down from the bedroom above which in turn meant moving wardrobes. However the electrician did this without fuss and after he had finished you would not have known he had been there. Highly recommended.

TLDR: I'll use vector electric anytime again! Mostly for their online booking system, friendly staff, and quality I needed a bathroom fan installation, and a replacement extractor fan. I chose Vector Electric because of their 5 star reviews and online quote booking system (So much better than ringing around asking for vague dates from other companies). Friendly staff member showed up to provide a quote, the guys arrived a couple weeks later to do the work, and you can pay online via Xero payment portal. Then when there were a couple minor problems (A rattle in the fan) they came out to fix the problem free of charge as well! For anyone else new to Bristol looking for a reliable electrician, I'd say these guys a good choice.

I was very happy with the service, David liaised with my letting agent and immediately informed me with a date and time that the work would be carried out. I was particular impressed about how David thought about the implications of having the electric off especially during lockdown and with home schooling taking place, due to this forward thinking other arrangements were able to be made. Great service from Vector Electric to locate and fix a fault in my lighting loop that was causing issues with a new light fitting (which they installed and replaced the switch for). The engineer maintained good social distancing measures and wore their mask throughout.

We recently commissioned Vector Electric to carry out the refit of our office lighting. The proposal David produced was swift, competitive and perfect for our needs. The fitting was carried out in a super timely manner and the end result is an absolute game changer.
