Dan is the loveliest person, which is a sell in itself, but how good would that be if he were rubbish at his job. He isn't! He was quick, efficient and clean, tidy and repectful of our property and can explain things in laymans terms, making any forward moving info and instruction easy to understand - and then there's Frankie in the office, passing messages in a friendly and timely manner. We've even booking him for another job!

We have used Lek-Trik on numerous projects over the last three years on our property. These have included: rewiring rooms; light fixing replacements and installation; outside socket installation; network cabling installation, surge protection installation etc. Dan's work has been consistently excellent Quality work. Dan has done a few different jobs for us now - replacing a bathroom light, replacing a bathroom extractor fan, fixing an electrical socket and installing new radiators in our home. Dan provides a thorough and quality service throughout - with a thoughtful and informative first visit to discuss the work and provide a quote, and completing the work to high and safe standards. We’ve been very pleased to find an Electrician who we trust and will continue to contact him for future jobs. Dan is very friendly and considerate throughout. He gave very helpful relevant recommendations for example about the best extractor fan for an internal bathroom, and most effficient electric radiators.
We were very pleased with the work. Lek-Trix installed a new extractor fan in our kitchen and also bathroom. We had a new consumer unit fitted and some old dodgy wiring fixed and everything fully tested. Dan is very experienced and offered lots of good advice. We were particularly impressed with how he listened carefully to our brief and provided a very detailed quotation based on that. He was thorough and professional and left everything clean and tidy after he finished. Dan was very friendly and polite and kept us informed on what he was doing throughout the job.

Really good experience, Dan is always very clear and helpful, he explained what he needed to do and was good at coming up with solutions to any problems along the way. Great service from Dan and Frankie. I had a range of work including an EICR followed by replacing smoke detectors and a bathroom fan, adding new sockets and fixing a new fusebox. Dan gave advice about the different options and a really clear itemised breakdown so I could understand the different costs. Dan was friendly, punctual and I can't fault the quality of his work. I will definitely be going back to Lek-Trix when I get around to replacing my light fittings.

Dan recently carried out a full rewire of our house. Having asked Dan to carry out an electrical survey before a house purchase, we knew he was the person to ask to carry out all the work needed! He is extremely professional and incredibly hard working. Dan installed a new consumer unit, replaced some single sockets with double sockets, added some new sockets, added a new light switch, moved a pendant fitting and installed breakfast bar pendants. He took time to talk through options during his quote visit, not for just the immediate work, but for other work planned throughout the house, advising on the best order in which to carry it out. He explained everything very well and also has a good eye, e.g with positioning of the pendants over the breakfast bar. He took all possible Covid precautions, wearing gloves and mask, bringing his own towel, using antibac wipes on anything he touched and maintaining social distancing. I have recommended him to my neighbour and will use him for the all the other work in this house.
