Jon Pritchard built our loft extension six years ago, and we recently noticed a small leak in the flat roof. I contacted them expecting to just get a recommendation for a repair, but they informed us the roof was still under their 10-year guarantee. They acted incredibly quickly, identifying the issue and arranging scaffolding within 48 hours. The team replaced the roof with a new rubber material and had everything fixed before the rain came. Their professionalism, speed, and commitment to their work were outstanding. I highly recommend them.
Jon Pritchard did the loft conversion on our house in 2017. This roof has already failed and needs total replacement. The guarantee mentioned in their website does not transfer between owners so we are stuck with a large bill
Extremely pleased that I used Jon Pritchard for our loft conversion. From the very first meeting we realised Jon is very pragmatic and made us feel confident going forward with a project, that for us was large scale and unnerving. We had to wait a while for work to start due to demand but I considered that a plus point. It also gives you some more time to think after the initial discussions with Jon. When work started, things progressed at speed. The surveyor took all the measurements and produced drawings. He gave us ideas for how to use of the space. The design agreed, scaffolding up and building started within a few weeks. We were introduced to our two main contractors, Dom and Regan. They were extremely courteous and professional. They did a great job of advising us throughout the build they were also very tidy and it was amazing how little disruption was caused on a fairly large project. Over the period of the build, we had many trades people working on the conversion. All of them were great and highly skilled in their field. All the materials used were high quality and they do not cut corners. Very happy with our new space and can only highly recommend.
Jon Pritchard Ltd recently completed our loft conversion and we could not recommend them more highly. The team were clean, courteous and delivered quality craftsmanship - always engaging us with decisions on the build, as well as being to happy to listen to our ideas on layout and design as the build proceeded. Face-to-face communication was easy, but it was aided by their GoConstruct software which kept us up to date with developments that could not be seen without braving the scaffolding. We would use them again every time.

We shortlisted Jon Pritchard Lofts (JPL) after talking to neighbours about the various companies in the Bristol area who do loft conversions. They produced a competitive price based on our requirements and said that they could start in October and that the project would take 8 weeks to complete, which we accepted. In spite of Covid, JPL started at the end of October and were complete by Christmas without any unexpected cost increases or extensions of time. Marcus, Billy and the rest of the JPL team were hardworking, courteous and kept us up to speed with progress by putting progress photos on the project website as we could not enter the loft. Their processes are well thought out and they have a good supply chain with whom they have negotiated discounts and quick product availability. We had one moment of panic when the dormer roof was being built and we had a mini-tornado at 9pm which dislodged the temporary tarpaulin which was protecting the half-built roof. When we saw a damp patch on the ceiling we knew it was time to call Jon before it got worse. To their credit Jon and a couple of members of his team were here within 20 minutes and they spent a couple of hours on the roof in a gale and driving rain reinstating the protection. We have no hesitation in recommending JPL to other
Start to finish, our experience with using Jon Pritchard for our loft conversion project was flawless! From the initial quote, through to structural surveys and most importantly the build, everything was executed really professionally and to a high standard of quality. The pricing was spot on to the quote and was competitive with other quotes. In particular a huge thanks to the main builders assigned to our job, Paddy and Dave. They were both not only really hard works and well builders, but as importantly incredibly friendly and really good with our 2yr old daughter and made her felt involved in the big change happening to our house. They were great at communicating what work had occurred each week, and what the timeframes were throughout the project. I would not hesitate to recommend Jon Pritchard based on the fabtatsic job from start to finish they did with my dormer loft conversion!
We had a loft conversion (L-shaped) done with Jon Pritchard in late 2019 and we are extremely happy with the work that was done. At every stage, we were in frequent contact via the app and never had any shocks or surprises. The project manager, was excellent, respectful, and went above and beyond to get things done. We got daily updates from him and if we ever had a query, it would be answered very promptly. One of the reasons we went with Jon Pritchard was the ease of app and ability to communicate on it, and there was a competent team of people always able to answer questions. A great experience.

These people have no respect for the neighbourhoods where they work. Their van was parked with the diesel engine running for at least an hour (might have been much more, I had to go out) with two or three employees inside staring at their phones. I asked one of them (he said he was the foreman, though he looks about 14) to switch off the engine as it was polluting the street and there's a primary school just a few steps away. They refused. I asked why, they said it was so they could benefit from the air conditioning. I pointed out that they had all the van windows open, so the benefit was minimal. They still refused, then lied about who they were working for. Unbelievable.
We couldn’t be more pleased with our attic conversion. From the outset the process was seamless and end result exceeds our expectation. We have carried out previous extensions to the house; past experiences had been somewhat stressful. Not with Jon Pritchard; the project manager and workmen were good communicators and suggested really creative ideas and finishing touches. For me, the best compliment I can pay, is to say that we enjoyed the experience as much as the end result. We would highly recommend them.
