Fantastic service. I had a relatively urgent job at home to wire-in a new cooker and circuit breaker. An almost immediate and friendly call from Tasha who took the details and got someone to call and discuss the job. I received a quote within days and the work was done soon after. Really friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. No hesitation in recommending.

I am a chartered electical power engineer but i don't have sufficient mobility to do wiring any more, so I wanted a company to install some additional solar panels and connect a workshop. I was amazed at the attention to detail these guys did. It was a perfect install of a steel wire armour cable into a new outbuilding and the removal of dangerous fittings in a swimming pool house. They fitted the correct equipment and the containment was really good. I had costed out what i wanted doing and they pretty much matched my estimate so there was no stupid massive profit. These guys are fully trained and apprenticed electicians. You can't go wrong with them. I have asked them to quote for some commercial work we are doing and I look forward to working with them again. `10/10

I don't normally leave reviews but in this case i think it is warrented. Resistance Electrical were great from beginning to end. Edvin who carried out the initial survey and consequent work was really thorough,helpful and explained and dealt with the problems which arose!. I would definitely recommend this company and will use again if the need arises.Thank you Resistance.

The main task was to install squirrel-proof netting to my solar panel installation. This was completed in two parts to avoid disturbing a squirrel nest that contained very young squirrels. The job was completed a couple of months later. A security light by the front door was replaced as well. The work was completed in very good time, a couple of minor complications being overcome without problem. This was the first job that Resistance Electrical had done for us, it is very probable that they will be our first choice for any future work.

Absolutely delighted with the service from these guys. Put in a request on Sunday and it was sorted before 12 on Monday! The guy was really nice and friendly and did a bang up job fixing my awful attempt at fixing a light switch in the bathroom. Very reasonable pricing too, would definitely use again and will be recommending to others!

Tom from Resistance electrical has installed an additional Givenergy battery to our current Solar system. He also checked our current Solar array and was also available at short notice to deal with a commissioning issue with our inverter, this involved his time on the phone as well as another trip back to reset the inverter as advised by Givenergy support. Great experience with Resistance Electrical. Tom was quick to respond and quote, and was very fairly priced. He had the job booked in for 2 weeks later. We were lucky to have Ollie working on our house for two days. He was great - super polite, neat work and always went over and above on the tidying up. It was genuinely a pleasure to have him around. Tom, Edvin and Mark did a great job of installing solar panels and battery storage on my house in Brighton last May. They were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Latest work was lighting and mirror for my en-suite and plinth lighting for my lounge. Beautiful job, lighting makes a massive difference. Reasonable pricing and reliable workmen! Tom gave a competitive quote for the work I needed doing (compared with 3 other local electricians), and gave me really useful advice for moving my electricity meter to make it more accessible, which only the meter engiener could actaully do. Once I had the meter moved, Tom's colleague Edwin returned to do the work, which involved installing a new consumer board, moving the main isolator switch, and installing a new induction hob. All the work was done really neatly, on time, and Edwin answered all my questions so I understood the new setup. Swept and tied up afterwards too. Really friendly, professional service. We had a full rewire and a few lights fitted. The house hadn't been updated in many years and was very out of date. We contacted Resistance Electrical and they got back to us promptly and were very friendly. We dealt with Tom and he was very professional throughout. Head & shoulders above other tradesmen I've dealt with. Tom got back to me promptly, without me having to chase him, and arrived when he said he would. Not only are they good at what they do, but (unlike others) they didn't destroy the house around their work. Sebastian put in the new sockets so neatly that no filler was needed around one, and only minimal filler around the other, & put the boards & carpet back. When the PIR sensor didn't work as intended, Tom happily came back another day to remedy the situation. Dealing with them was a pleasure, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
