East Coast Appliances

Fantastic service from East Coast Appliances who fitted us a new dishwasher, after finding several faults with our old one! They took the old one away, and did a brilliant job of installing the new one. They were very responsive from start to finish - professional, tidy and a great service.

Douglas was excellent, he firstly established that our ten year old Samsung was going to be an expensive repair and we decided to replace it for a new Bosch. He organised the replacement delivery and fitting or the new machine. This removed all of the donkey work and made the process stress free for us. We also liasd with his other engineer Tyler and admin who were polite and efficient, thanks to them all!

Always courteous, professional and honest work. Whenever I need something done, these are my go to company

Had an issue with the dishwasher not draining. After attempting some diy it was time to call in an expert and I made the perfect choice with this company. Doug was able to fit me in for the following day and resolved the problem, even explaining what to do should it happen again. The service provided was fast, professional and very friendly. I would highly recommend this company.

Tyler came within a couple of hours of calling Excellent job, fixed immediately, nice lad who was helpful and polite Highly recommend this company. I was dreading the cost but it was very reasonable

As a previous customer of East Coast Appliances I had no hesitation in calling them out to carry out a small service on my washing machine and replace a faulty connector hose. Doug is always polite and very thorough in his approach to his work. Would always recommend ECA to family and friends

The engineer Tyler was extremely knowledgeable about the broken washer dryer considering he’d only been at the job about one month. He was respectful of me and my Mum. He was very efficient with the repair. He was very reassuring and professional. He was friendly and easy to talk to. We asked questions and he was kind enough to answer them. I strongly recommend Tyler and the company. Kind regards, Dom

Tyler, was very courteous, so efficient, & most helpful; even giving good advice on appliance use! My son & I, were so relieved repair was completed on the first visit. This makes all the difference!

The engineer was on time and did a thorough job of diagnosing and fixing the oven. He was very personable and took precautions to protect the floor. Great job, thankyou

Absolutely fabulous, tumble dryer fixed -despite the job being tedious maintained excellent customer service, very knowledgeable and explained all my questions 10/10 would use again :)

The team was very efficient from booking in the job to attending the repair they are fairly priced, friendly, tidy up after themselves and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be using them again! Thank you so much :)

Came out within a couple of days of calling & was clear about the call out fee. Albeit I was found to have an issue with my dishwasher which would have ordinarily meant it going to the scrap heap, a make shift fix was attempted in any case and it worked perfectly! These guys saved me forking out for a new dishwasher- or certainly delayed it for a long time at least ☺️ Great service all round.

Had a washing machine repair done by Douglas and Tyler, which I could not have faulted as an overall experience nor the service provided. They were able to diagnose the issue during the initial visit, immediately ordered the part that needed replacing once they knew the issue, wasting no time, and gave fantastic service as well as being friendly, professional and informative. They were also accommodating time-wise. I found the cost more than reasonable and will definitely be using East Coast again if any issues arise (hopefully not, but at least I will have reliable and trustworthy company to sort it out). Thanks again to you both. P.S. Thank you for the AI prompt!

Dishwasher wasn't working! Came out within the week, brilliant service, upfront pricing, very professional and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Excellent washing machine repair when our door broke. Great customer service and friendly team. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience with East coast appliances. I had my oven fixed that kept tripping the electrics and replaced my heating element. Doug visited my house, very quickly and professionally refitted the part and the cooker was working again in minutes. Great all round service.

We thought our range cooker had roasted it’s last chicken but thanks to the professional knowledge and skill of Tyler and the team at East Coast it is now back up and running at a fraction of the cost of a new one. Great communication, very polite and respectful, great job 👏🏻

Amazing service

Very helpful, efficient, they went out out of their way to help elderly parents! Highly recommended

Our tumble dryer was repaired very quickly and even a day early due to Tyler's kind consideration of attending to us at the end of the day rather than the next day. This was very much appreciated as was the the quick and easy replacement of a part. Top work all round and a big thanks to Tyler for attending a day ahead of schedule.

Fantastic service from Douglas and his team. Always gets back to you quickly if you leave a message. Seems to know everything about appliances. Gives a very honest opinion. Very friendly and courteous I wouldn't use anyone else.

Great company. Our technician Douglas was polite efficient and very knowledgeable. Very tidy as well. While changing a element in our top oven he found that the cooker was not secured properly and immediately corrected. Thoroughly recommend this company

We had the pleasure of working with Doug from East Coast Appliances this week. He replaced our cooker. Doug did a fantastic job, tackling some unexpected hurdles with ease. He was professional, friendly, did an excellent job and was very competitive on price. We'll certainly be using Doug for all our electrical needs in the future.

Douglass was great! He was able to make it out the day I called and fixed my washing machine. Highly recommend

Fantastic service from east coast they took my repair request for my dishwasher even though I was on the edge of the area, so thank you ! The chap who came was so knowledgeable and helpful, he recommended a replacement as it was kaput. I’m very grateful and can highly recommend. LH

Fantastic customer service. Douglas was extremely efficient, polite and did an amazing job. Wouldn’t hesitate to call him for assistance in the future. Thank you.

Great same day service, Tyler was polite, fast and tidy fixing my dishwasher. Thank you

Very happy with the service provided by Tyler at East Coast Appliances. He was friendly, professional and fixed my oven very quickly.

Excellent service! Tyler came out promptly yesterday and quickly identified what the issue was with our washing machine. He was professional, efficient, and clearly very knowledgeable. The problem was resolved without any hassle, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I’d highly recommend Tyler and would definitely use him again.

Douglas was great from start to finish. He actually diagnosed the issue over the phone and gave me a rough idea of the cost, which was really helpful. When he came out, he confirmed it was the drain pump, replaced it, and had the dishwasher up and running again in no time. Really straightforward, honest service and everything was left clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend East Coast Appliances Ltd and would use again without hesitation.

Had the pleasure of this gentleman in my house today. He saved our washer/dryer! Would recommend. Very efficient job.

Really great service. Good communication. Can’t say a bad word. Will definitely be recommending to my family and friends.

The team did a fantastic job of repairing our hisense washer-dryer. All work was completed within a short space of time and they showed up exactly when agreed. Identified a fault caused by our washing machine manufacturers own engineer during a warranty repair which hisense are investigating. Reallt shows the level of expertise these guys have. Very grateful for all the work done.

So bad experience. They charge you 50£ even without any service provided . The worst I meet and never use again .

Very polite and service minded. Did not rush trough to get to the next job, but checked everything over to endure leaving the appliance in good order.

Great service as the fixed and installed the washing machine. The team were eager to help and solve the many issues we found out as they went along as we just moved in to our new place (old house with history of weird and deficient plumbing work). Highly recommend and will definitely give them a call should the need arise. Many Thanks

Excellent service from East Coast Appliances! They were prompt, professional, and gave me several prices and options to fix my oven's glass door. Great communication throughout—I wouldn't hesitate to use them again."

Excellent friendly service

Absolutely brilliant very efficient tidy and helpful, all working dish washer would highly recommend

I found them online and I am very glad I did. Exceptional service on diagnosing my broken down washing machine to providing fully costed options and a hassle free supply and installation of a new one. I havent had such great service in a long time - thank you guys!

Excellent service! Thoroughly recommend!

Highly recommend East Coast Appliances. Doug has worked on my oven, dishwasher, and washing machine over the years and has been excellent every time. Has saved me a small fortune in replacing appliances. He’s a genuinely lovely bloke, very knowledgeable, does great work, and always charges a fair price. Reliable, honest, and a pleasure to deal with.

Quick response, same day visit, fixed.

Never used east coast appliances before and found them on google. From start of the process to them fixing my dishwasher was great service. Communication was great and I was updated all through the process. Would highly recommend and will definitely use in the future if I needed to.

2 of the nicest guys!!! Will use again 1000%

Absolute menace! Driving through thetford today this van went entirely across to the wrong lane on a roundabout , millimetres away from crushing me between his van and the roundabout, totally oblivious to anyone around him If they mend appliances like they drive then they will turn your home into a death trap. Stay away!!!

They repaired my washing machine after the filter was clogged with colour catchers. Great value, efficient, clean and friendly service — I’d definitely recommend them!

Excellent friendly and professional service. Quick response and a nice short time slot was given, plus a text when they were on their way. Quickly diagnosed and repaired my washing machine at a fraction of a cost of a new one. Very reasonable call-out charge for the time that two of them were here, working in an extremely awkward, tight space. Really pleased to be up and running again with no fuss and very little expense. I can't recommend them highly enough and I'll definitely be using East Coast Appliances' services again.

Thanks Doug and Tyler! Quick and easy heat pump replacement in a Bosch dishwasher, 3 days from call to fit and in and out in 45 mins on the day. Fair price for the quality of work! 👍

Prompt, efficient, reasonably priced, effective! Highly recommend!

Superb services 👏

Mr David Covey provided outstanding service. My letting agency arranged the visit and he arrived on time, identified the fault quickly, and fixed it there and then "avoiding an unnecessary pump replacement that would have cost much more." Professional, honest, and efficient. Truly commendable work! would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Douglas was polite, well informed and professional. Fixed the problem quickly and we will use again if needed.

Doug was absolutely fantastic, he was patient in explaining the issues with my tumble dryer he repaired it on the spot, and even tidied up afterwards! Doug even took the time to follow up to make sure there were no further issues, he was professional and kind and I would recommend him to my friends and family without hesitation. Thank you Doug 😃

Doug is an absolute gem! I honestly can’t recommend Doug enough. He came to fix my oven, and not only did he get it working perfectly again, but he did it with such professionalism, care, and kindness. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way I could actually understand — no rushed job or guesswork. What really stood out was his integrity. He didn’t try to upsell or make the issue sound worse than it was — he simply did a thorough, honest job and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. The oven’s working better than ever, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish.

Absolutely blown away by the service from East Coast Appliances. Douglas came out personally on a Saturday because he didn’t want me to be left waiting any longer. As a single dad with three kids, being without a working washing machine is a real struggle. He understood that straight away. He was professional, kind and clearly cares about helping people, not just getting the job done. It's rare to find a company that genuinely puts customers first. This experience meant a lot to me. Thank you Douglas. You really made a difference.

Great service I received with a new washing machine installation. The guys were friendly and considerate of my house. Would definitely recommend 😊

Our tumble dryer didn't work but all it needed, so we were told, was a good clean of the 'workings' and the reset of a trip switch. All we were charged was the call out fee. An excellent service that we can thoroughly recommend.

Very helpful lovely genuine gentleman

Douglas and Tyler replaced washing machine seal that had gone mouldy. Thought it was a job I could had done, so glad I didn’t try when I saw what it entitled. They were very knowledgeable, polite and friendly and the price for the job was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again for my domestic appliance repairs.

Great service and very punctual from the moment I requested their service. They contacted me directly clear follow up and reminder text to let you know the driver is on the way. Will definitely use again!

I would highly recommend this company. Douglas and team were very professional throughout my dealings with them which includes a replacement dishwasher and oven repair. Even when the oven showed further unexpected issues post their repair, Douglas came out free of charge and fixed the issue.

Very efficent, reasonably priced, and friendly service.

Efficient, tidy.

Great service, honest, fair price. Doug is polite and friendly, very knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, thank you!

Tricky setting it up due to cancellations on both sides partly due to illness. Excellent service when he arrived, on time to the minute. Kept to the quoted price. Will definitely use again, and recommend to others.

The team did a great job were very friendly, they were very quick to find the fault and fix it as well as for a fair price. Thanks!

Excellent service from enquiry to completion of job. Communication throughout and updated on expected time of arrival. Thorough inspection of the appliance, extremely knowledgable and efficient. Part needed to be replaced and was done during the call out. Area left clean and tidy. Able to pay by card and receipt sent immediately to email address. Highly recommend. I originally booked this company to complete a job for my elderly parents and they were also impressed with the company and as elders they felt very comfortable with the engineer in their home.

Our oven and hob was completely not working and even bought a new hob to be installed. We couldn’t cook any food for ourselves or our young child. East Coast Appliances came out the very next day after I called and fixed both the hob and oven. Didn’t need the new hob so can take it back to get some money back! Douglas was very friendly and was professional. Would happily use their services again and recommend to a friend. Fee was very reasonable too!

Douglas and Tyler replaced a faulty fan oven switch - and went the extra mile in carefully pulling out the trickily positioned, heavy range cooker. They were very knowledgeable, polite and friendly and the price for the job was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again for my domestic appliance repairs.

East Coast Appliances were amazing - they couldn’t fix the suspected problem in the initial call out time so came back a second time at no extra charge. They were tidy, polite and friendly, would definitely recommend. Thank you!

We have used East Coast Appliances numerous times over the last few years for various different appliances within our business. Professional, friendly and efficient. Great job Douglas, many thanks.

My washing machine broke down yesterday, I asked Douglas for help ... but being abroad he obviously couldn't come to my house. However he was able to provide me with a very precise diagnosis and tell me what to do to repair my machine. Quality service, unfailing availability and indisputable professionalism, I highly recommend East Coast Appliances!

A very good experience. Doug & Tyler were polite and generous with information regarding the repairs for our 10yr old washing machine on our houseboat. First wash went well.

called east coast appliances as my washing machine and tumble dryer had stopped working I had seen they have good reviews and they do not lie. they pre diagnosed both of my machines over the phone and my washing machine I could do myself and saved me an extra charge but the tumble dryer I could not so they gave me an estimate over the phone and it was very well priced the engineers Doug and Tyler arrived within 2 days of the call within the 2 hour time slot and was very professional and fixed my tumble dryer within 45 minutes I am very happy with the service provided and will recommend to friends and family and definitely use them again!

He was very professional and friendly and the cost was really reasonable. I would highly recommend Doug at East Coast Appliances.

Doug was recommended by one of my neighbours. He came and fixed my washing machine on New Year's Eve having diagnosed over the phone what the problem was. The repair was very reasonably priced. We were given a 2-hour window and he called to say he was running 15 mins late which was really helpful to know. Will definitely be using his services again. Highly recommend.

Great service. Phoned and he came out same evening to fix it. Due to not having enough space he couldn't finish the job, but came back two days later, all fixed and working fine. Really really nice guy. If he had the space it would have been done the same day as phoning. Highly recommend .

We have used East Coast Appliances several times now and are so impressed by their efficiency, knowledge and professionalism. Doug found the problem with our old Miele tumbler dryer straight away and fixed it. He very kindly said that I was using the wrong program setting that’s why it was taking so long! All I had to pay was the call out charge. We have a new house and took out the insurance on all our appliances but I have now cancelled these and I will be using Doug for all my appliances from now on! Fantastic Service! Thank you! After a few issues with communications (hence the four stars rather than five) … * Had to chase twice to see if they could repair our dishwasher * Agreed to an earlier appointment time but Doug arrived for the original appointment time … we were very pleased with the way Doug dealt with the problem (new heat pump required). They'll be our first port of call next time we need something repaired.

Excellent, Doug was really friendly and was able to sort the issue quickly and efficiently.

Only a phone call this time, due to my stupidity but both husband and wife team were lovely, rang me back, talked me through a few things and what it could be etc, and didn't fob me off as such, so was all sorted, (blocked filter, water wasn't draining properly) but as it was stuck I didn't really pull it out as didn't want to break it, but whilst on phone I was wriggling it and it came out wow... it was absolutely blocked up with....dog hair, (we have 4 dogs and 4 cats....) but thank-you so much, I understand companies have to charge to come out and earn a living, but they were helpful and saved me some money which was kind of them. Definitely recommend 👌

Super professional - very happy with the service

Douglas came to repair our dishwasher but found that the repair was too expensive. He kindly fitted a new machine, and made an excellent job. He's professional, efficient, and has a pleasant personality, I would recommend him, and would definitely use him again .

This is my second time of using ECA and I will be using them again in the future. My kitchen was left clean and everything put back as it was ( Douglas was even kind enough to let me give the back of the range cooker a quick clean before he put it back in place :)

We found Douglas online, when our dishwasher stopped working we searched for an engineer read good reviews for East Coast Appliances so thought we would give him a try to fix our dishwasher. So pleased we did, he was fairly priced and knew the machine inside out, the problem was soon fixed. Very pleased with all aspects of the company and have since used him again to sort a washing machine. On the second occasion he was just as effective. I am writing this review after the fixes i forgot to write it up before. I called east coast appliances again today 18.08.23 , this was connected to a broken switch on the electric oven. Douglas talked me through what I had to do after I had explained the issue and sent photos. i was able to fix it myself with the instruction given by douglas. Super honest great value, and good morals do use the company you will not be disappointed. 10/10. Mark and Karen

My washing machine fault proved to be difficult to solve, but Douglas persevered until he had fixed it. He was always pleasant and arrived when he said he would. The fee was reasonable and I have already recommended the company to a friend. I will not hesitate to call them if other white goods need repairing.

Mo, the engineer was on time and knew his stuff. Before he carried out any additional work he gave me the cost first. He fixed my dish washer within a very short time. He also made a fuss of our cat Rambo before he left. Will give East Coast Appliances 10 out of 10 from the time I phoned until the job was completed it was effortless and staff very professional. Thank you - wouldn’t hesitate to use you again or recommend you!

The appliance was not repaired as the engineer said is not repairable and we need a new one. But after restarting and taking the ice out of some areas inside ,this is working now! It cost me 40 punds and was advised to buy new one when the appliance could be fixed Thanks Dumitru

Doug was incredibly helpful and responsive; helped me to source a new dishwasher when it was clear mine was a lost cause and didn't charge for the hours it took to diagnose my old machine. He then collected, delivered and installed the new dishwasher and disposed of the old one for a very modest fee. Excellent communication, professional and trustworthy. Definitely recommend.
