I requested a quote for installing a heat pump and exchanged some emails with Jack. Every few days throughout this process the quote went up by £1000 with no explanation or additional work specified. I got the distinct impression I was being gouged so I opted for another supplier at which point Jack started invoicing me for survey work I had not commissioned. Alarming to say the least. Watch out. Update Having read the response from Jack I should clarify - no review or survey was ever requested, quoted for or accepted. The scope of work remained the same throughout our email exchange. If Jack took it upon himself to conduct a review or survey remotely then he did so without my permission and without informing me of any charges I was required to pay which is why the invoice came as such an unpleasant surprise.

Felix was so brilliant and my family and I were hugely appreciative of his help! With a small baby in the house, we needed an immediate fix for our issue for peace of mind, and Felix absolutely delivered, kindly flexing his schedule to get us a solution as soon as possible. He was also extremely mindful of the baby's nap-time, working quietly so as not to disrupt baby's sleep, which was so thoughtful! We will definitely use Polkadot again and we are so grateful to Felix for his professionalism, tidiness, and friendly attitude.

I would highly recommend Polkadot. They were excellent from start to finish. Our boiler broke down in January, which was far from ideal, but they arranged an appointment very quickly to install a new boiler and carry out a full system power flush. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the process. Pricing seemed reasonable, and we paid what was initially quoted. An outstanding service all round.

Excellent service from start to finish! From speaking to Becky, who promptly arranged for Jon and Nick to visit, inspect, quote, and replace my toilet, everything was handled brilliantly. They were polite, tidy, and incredibly friendly throughout. It’s very rare to find Plumbers who work so well with older properties. Becky even stopped by to make sure everything was running smoothly, asked if she could take a few photos of the ongoing work for their social media and even gave our dog a little walk, such a lovely personal touch! The plumbing work and quality of service seemed good. However they steered me towards a boiler (Viessmann) that it seems is rarely used in the UK according to subsequent plumbers/heating engineers, meaning it’s more difficult to find someone who knows how it works, and possibly to get parts ). But they omitted to register my new boiler, and so there is no extended guarantee as there should be. All Of this would have been OK except I have emailed and called about 8 times, and they are now blanking me. Not happy about that.

The communication from Polkadot was very poor. After their first visit I had to call multiple times constantly being told that sombody would call me back - which never happened - eventually taking multiple weeks to get a follow up appointment. By the time the follow up appointment came unfortunately the plumber was unwell although this is just a bad coincidence I was not told they would not be coming untill I phoned and messaged the office and the plumber directly, eventually hearing back at 10:30am when I was expecting them at 8am. I then had to email and call multiple times to arrange a follow up. When the plumber did come they were efficient and courteous and seemed to do everything they could to help, but unfortunately the poor communication and management set the tone for the overall experience.
Peter was on time and very courteous throughout. Most importantly he did a thorough problem diagnosis and got our boiler working again. Would highly recommend. Excellent service. We will certainly use again when we need to.
Luke arrived on time and assessed to problem with the wall hung WC which was leaking . He fitted new parts and made sure the part he was fitting was of good quality . Very happy with the service provided .
Thoroughly recommend Polkadot Plumbers for quick and efficient service. But don't forget they also have electricians and one of theirs guys did a very speedy job this morning sorting out an LED problem. And they are very nice people to deal with!
I rang Polkadot Plumbers on a Tuesday to rectify a problem created by another plumbing company. They arranged for Liam to come on the Wednesday evening. He came and diagnosed a problem with a kitchen tap cartridge and repaired it quickly with a replacement part I had picked up. This eliminated the constant squealing and dripping left from the previous company. Liam was extremely helpful and fast in correcting the problem. Liam also clearly explained what was happening. I would definitely use Polkadot and Liam again.

Great service from booking through to completion. The engineer that came explained everything she carried out, showing me pictures and thee inside of our HVAC unit. Making payment was very easy and the bill wasn't eye watering as some companies had quoted much higher.

Polkadot Plumbers came to my house on 9 April to discuss the installation of a shower pump. Took a few photos, charged a full hour's work £132 (as allowed in their T&Cs) but haven't provided / won't provide a quote for the pump installation, thereby being a waste of money for me. Post script 30 April 2024 - after a few weeks, following this review, I received a quote from PolkaDot plumbers. Paulis came to fit my shower pump and was very efficient so I have no complaints after the initial issue of not responding. I have changed my review from one star to 5 stars and hope the back office function is reviewed to ensure all emails are read and responded to.
I cannot recommend Polkadot Plumbers enough. I have used them on many occasions including designing and installing a new bathroom, boiler servicing and most recently a new boiler. All the employees are super helpful, reliable and works have been completed to a very high standard. They are quick to reply and their rates are pretty reasonable.

An issue occurred after a routine boiler service conducted by Polkadot but as soon as they were alerted to the problem the next day they sent someone almost immediately to rectify the issue and resolved the problem in a very professional manner spending a good number of hours (free of charge) doing an even more thorough job, all with absolutely exemplary customer service and no disagreement of the facts. I am very pleased with the comprehensive work Polkadot Plumbers recently completed, in October 2023, in my small but intricate bathroom. Their initial survey was thorough, the estimate was detailed, they took on board my requests, and sent an experienced plumber to do work which included some unknowns prior to the dismantling of a sealed bath. The plumber discussed with me, the client, any complications that arose and how he would proceed to ensure that everything was both watertight and aesthetically pleasing. The work was carried out with thoroughness and an attention to detail. It is not easy to find good people and I fully recommend Polkadot Plumbers.

Polkadot Plumbers were, as ever, absolutely sensational. We were having trouble with our boiler over the past month and both Jonathan and Arron were sent out to fix the issues. They were fantastic. The problems were solved and Jonathan and Arron were highly efficient and charming to boot. When I have a heating problem, I am immediately on the phone to Jack. Him and his team are incredibly quick to respond and take the time to research items you maybe require and send you what they think is the best option. The customer service is second to none. If you have a plumbing issue, this is the only place to call.
Henry was really great - punctual, courteous, and quick. The workmanship was very good and thorough. Would definitely use Polkadot again. One star off as the scaffolders damaged a freshly painted windowsill and left marks on the walls when moving poles through the house.
We had Egis from Polkdot Plumbers come out to quote for the removal of five radiators and their replacement along with the installation of a new vanity and sink. Egis was on time, courtesy, informative and detailed in his evaluation. Egis diligently checked the specs of the radiators and other items we were purchasing to make sure that Polkadot could install them correctly within the spaces they needed to go. We went ahead with the quote and could not have been more pleased. Egis arranged for Jonathan and Eddie to come out to do the job. They were on time and arrived with smiles. We discussed a few issues that they thought they might have to make sure I would be happy with what they would do and the final outcome. I actually left for the day and let the boys get on with it. I come home in the afternoon to an almost finished job and the job done to a very high standard. Before they left, Jonathan and Eddie made sure everything was clean, tidy and all rubbish was removed. I happen to have had a friend with me who manages properties for living. He indicated that the work done was some of the most clean, tidy and professional work he has ever seen plumbers do! I would highly recommend Polkdot Plumbers and would not hesitate to use them again.
They did a great job fixing a slow leak from a dual flush for us. It had been bothering us for ages because it periodically activated a macerator, and our previous plumber couldn’t spot the problem. We really appreciated them taking the time to explain what was wrong and sort it out for us. We’ll definitely use them again in future.

Two of Polkadot Plumber’s engineers visited my flat to carry out ga safety checks in November 2020. They were set to arrive mid-morning, but called ahead to flag that they could come sooner if it would suit, and welcome this was given it was a freezing morning (and I had no heating.) Both engineers were efficient and thorough, and explained the various checks they carried out. Both were friendly, and professional (e.g. both put shoe covers on before coming into the flat.) The very best I can say is that should I ever need any future gas work done, I won’t hesitate to contact Polkadot Plumbers.
Great guys! Not only was the work finished to a high standard within in budget, but it all came with a 12 month guarantee. On two occasions I’ve asked them to come back to fix a couple of minor snags and they have returned within the week. These guys are trustworthy.
