This company used to be good but has gone downhill. Their customer service is terrible and it takes a long time before you get through to a real person on the phone. I used SLH to install a new boiler and four new column radiators. We were only sent one option for the radiators which felt odd but as we only had limited time (it was close to Christmas) we went with what was suggested. In hindsight I would have liked to have been given more options. The man doing the work was friendly and got the job done, but after fitting the boiler he left a lot of mess and I spent all evening scrubbing dirty marks off my white kitchen sink and walls. The next day, we discovered that two of the radiators that had been ordered were the wrong size. SLH had come to measure them in person so we were confused - the man rang the boss Mark who said that as the store hadn't had the correct sizes in stock he'd just ordered the next closest. He had done this without informing us (and presumably would have kept the money from the cheaper radiators). They simply did not fit. They ordered some radiators in the correct size and went to pick them up, but all that was available at such short notice was a different design to the other radiators. Thankfully they are reasonably similar but I am disappointed to have spent thousands of pounds with SLH only to end up with mismatching radiators in the same room. SLH also tried to charge us for different in cost, despite it being their mistake. We would never have accepted the wrong size radiators. Later, after the work was done, we discovered an enormous hole in the wall behind one of the radiators. It's 20cm wide in some places and stretches the whole length of the radiator. As the radiators are column you can see it in the daylight and it looks awful. We don't know if this happened whilst they were being fitted or if it was already there but we are confused as to why he wouldn't mention this before fitting the radiator, so we at least had the option to get the gaps filled. We are now having to pay more money to a handyman to remove the radiator, fill the gaps, and put it back on. When trying to pay, I had some questions I needed answers to, but couldn't get through to anyone despite my repeated calls and emails. They only got in touch when they thought I might not pay. Sadly I will never be using SLH again.

We've used SLH for almost 10 years, most critically during a period of a complicated house extension and renting out our property. They've been amazing with sensible and solution focused engineers, and also incredible customer support from Lucy and Kerrie in handling manufacturer warranty claims and urgent responses to keep our tenants happy. I had a gas boiler service and maintenance yesterday. Really good customer service, and Jonathan the gas operative is polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. I liked that he’s the same person that did the inspection a year or two ago - so it was less like a stranger in my home! Highly recommend this service. Very professional. Only draw back is it’s not cheap. But I felt it was worth it.
I'm happy with the callout today. There was a slight gas leak after my meter, and the supplier capped the meter supply off. This required some testing and repair to pipework. This was booked in and attended to quickly. The repair was done and my gas supply was restored.

I was told by British Gas the boiler was beyond repair. I had been expecting this for a while. I called SLH on Friday last and within half an hour, they had arranged a video walk around the installation with the tenant. I then had a quote straight away. I then had another quote shortly after with a slight variation and a slightly cheaper price. That was a first! The engineers arrived when they said and worked later than normal given the job was not as straightforward as was first thought. The tenant said they were friendly, efficient and clean working. I have managed and owned, service businesses, albeit in Telecoms. So I know what customer service is all about. Your team is a credit to your company. Well done.
South London Heating is an outstanding company. We have had a radiator replaced and our annual boiler check, and in all occasions staff have been absolutely amazing. Communication with their admin team is fast and they are always there to support with any queries. After being unexpectedly cut off from our gas supply by our gas network provider, we found ourselves in a difficult spot with no gas for cooking, cleaning, or heating. South London Heating stepped in to help us navigate the frustrating process of dealing with the gas network provider, offering clear advice and guidance to us, so we could ensure the other company took responsibility for their parts of the remedial work. Once that was sorted, South London Heating quickly and professionally completed the remainder of the work needed to reconnect us. They kept us well-informed, worked efficiently, and left everything spotless when finished. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend their services.
A 100% customer-oriented and fantastically flexible company, with whom the communication is always really smooth and whatever they promise that does actually happen. They can install both electrical and gas boilers which is also great! After receiving a competitive quote from them, I decided to book my boiler replacement with them, and they agreed to do it within 2 days, on a Saturday, which is simply amazing! When I had a concern afterwards a few days later, they addressed it in 90 minutes. I can only recommend this company!
Can’t beleive how amazing these guys were. From start to Finsh from the office to the director visit very straight forward. The engineers arrived for 8am as promised and installed us a lovely new Worcester boiler feels great to have the heating back ! Thanks to the south London heating team much appreciated by our family and dog who enjoying the warmth.

A friendly and professional company. Only give 4 stars because we had an issue where an engineer didn’t turn up and there was no way of contacting them…which was frustrating…but it was quickly rectified and they were hugely apologetic and we were compensated for our troubles. A company that clearly cares about their customers satisfaction a great deal.

South London Heating replaced all the (ancient) radiators in my home in August 2023. They recommended radiators, sent two comparative quote and did the fitting, plus a follow up engineer visit. The customer service was excellent and responsive, and I am happy with their finished work. Would recommend.

They were recommended by a friend and I am so glad he did. Replacement of a briken water tank valve and installation of Hive thermostats and TVRs. Everything went smoothly from the initial consultation, giving quotes on different options, arranging a date and finishing the works. They were very careful and discreet while working around the house and finished the job swiftly. They also followed up with my queries and provided helpful information. I will definitely use again.
All I can say is, from the initial consultation, done over WhatsApp video call, (so much easier than having someone come round), to the quote, then arranging a time for the work to be done. Everyone I had contact with from admin to those that carried out the work, were honest, efficient, professional and a pleasure to deal with. South London Heating replaced our boiler, removed the old system including the water tank we had in the loft. From the start the commercial Team has been very supportive and responsive. Mark visited us to see discuss and check the work hat needed to be carried. The same evening we received a quote which was clear with all the detail we discussed and good value. The Team has been responsive and professional. We had a leak today and a few hours after we called someone was here to repair. It is great to see the there are still serious companies with experienced people passionated about what they do. We have been delighted with the work carried by South London Heating.
