Very professional service throughout - from initial survey through installation and quality checking post completion. I was kept informed of progress and installation dates throughout.

The staff were mostly friendly and polite. The survey (for 6 small ground-floor windows + bifold doors) happened swiftly in February, with installation as expected in April. The fitting itself was quick, clean and tidy — and once the windows were rotated to face the same way as the bifolds, everything finally started making sense. The “making good” phase, became something of a long-running series of replacing several cracked windows etc over spanning several months with a final sign-off in December. In summary: good-quality windows that look great, a team with good intentions but poor management, and a service that moves at an inefficient slow pace.

We went to look at windows in the showroom. Getting a window that worked for me was crucial as I have a disability which affects my ability to open and close the window and operate locking mechanism. The member of staff who assisted us was really helpful. It was useful to be able to see the windows in situ and have a go opening them. Good communication from start to finish. The price seemed good value for money. Very happy with the quality and finish.

A fantastic service from WindowWorx that I would strongly recommend to others. I had double glazing and new doors installed throughout my house. The only company I could find that offered the full turnkey solution of survey, supply, carryout necessary building work and fit the new doors. Highly recommended.

It was our first time doing any form of building work and we had quite a few teething issues. Order of works took from December 24 - September 25. Although we had complaints they were dealt with by head office in a prompt manner. Would recommend installation staff are given training in how to support neurodivergent customers.

Totally happy with the pre-sales, consultation, and advice given when we were choosing our windows and lanterns. The quality of the products was excellent (Origin windows and Atlas Lanterns). The surveyor and fitting team were super and the project was delivered on time. The office team were always in communication and 'on top' of everything. I can't recommend WindowWorx enough!

I had two replacement doors fitted by WindowWorx in October 2023. Over the year, one of them became difficult to lock. I contacted their service department who arranged a visit. The door needed adjusting, and it was fixed in minutes. No hassles and a quick response. I am very pleased to recommend them to anyone considering using their services. UPDATE MAY 2025 The second door that I purchase needed adjustment. I phoned WindowWorx I was offered a visit the following day. Unfortunately, I had a hospital appointment and was unsure at what time I would be back, I had to reluctantly say “no”. As things turned out, the appointment was quick and the traffic was light so I got home much quicker than expected. I called them and asked if the visit was still possible that day. After a couple of calls, they confirmed that someone would be with me shortly. It was fixed a couple of hour later !!! Maybe I was lucky but I was impressed that they even tried to re-schedule me at such short notice.

My husband and I are carrying out a self build and one thing we have found is what a difference it makes when you find reliable, trustworthy trades/ companies. Unfortunately, not all service providers have the same work ethic however with WindowWorx right from the beginning we could tell that they were going to be a great team to work with. Dave in particular was so helpful, responsive and just generally helped to make the process of providing quotes, advice, measuring up and ultimately fitting run so smoothly. One thing we were particularly keen on was making sure the windows and doors operate as efficiently as possible and where other fitters didn't really seem to understand what we were looking for, in terms of reducing the u-values, WindowWorx completely understood our requirements. Compared to other fitters they were also excellent on price. For the service and quality of work we received we are so pleased with the price we paid. We really couldn't recommend them enough. 100% would recommend them to anyone looking for a window or door fitter/supplier, they are brilliant.

Window Worx have been brilliant at keeping on top of a complex job (more than 35 openings for windows/doors). It is all triple glazed and seems very high quality. Their fitters are excellent and very capable - They used a crane to lift the very heavy glass to the 2nd floor, with great precision. Overall I am very happy with their work and was also happy with their prices.

Windowworx were great with our installation of a large sliding door , 5m wide They were prompt and professional . Sadly one of the glass doors had a scratch , this was sorted and replaced no questions asked , and Harry the young guy that came and sorted the replacement was courteous and helpful I highly recommend the service we received from window worx and the product we purchased

Great experience dealing with WindowWorx. Starting with Lawrence in sales, Charlotte in customer service, Mike doing the survey, and Harry and his team doing a tremendous job fitting the windows and doors. All really helpful and friendly, and the very few minor issues we had were very quickly addressed. This was a fairly chunky job of 27 windows and 3 doors – we went for Origin OW70 units and are very pleased with the product and end results. We will be using WindowWorx for other projects, so no hesitation recommending them to others.

Great glazing product, well installed and managed.

During istallation of a large replacement window some old tiles fell from below the window (not material to the installation). Windowworx sent out their surveyor to investigate then sent a workman to rebuil the selection of tiling. In my opinion, this was very much "beyond their call of duty" Having used Windowworx a few times I have no hesitation in recommending them - they are a pleasure to work with and committed to going the extra mile

I contacted WindowWorx a few years after the installation of my bi-fold doors as the rubber gasket and seal has split and was in need of repair. The issue was reported to Charlotte who arranged for a fitter (James) to visit and fix the problem. The matter was dealt with professionally and efficiency with excellent customer service from the two persons mentioned above.

From surveyor to the final fitted patio doors, WindowWorx provided complete support throughout. The doors were fitted with the minimum of disruption to our decor and flooring. I would recommend them to my friends.

WindowWorx supplied and fitted all the external doors and windows to the house we are extending and refurbishing in Cookham. From start to finish they have been excellent. The thought, detail and care they applied in providing a quote for the works, measuring accurately and completing the order meant the installation was a smooth process. We did not wait long from placing the order to install. Their doors and windows are excellent quality and look great; the install team were friendly and professional and completed the installation perfectly. The few items that we chose to change afterwards, such as, frosted glass and a cat flap, plus a couple of windows which could not be installed during the main install, Window Worx were really helpful with and quick to come back to site to complete. In addition, the communication and invoicing throughout was clear, concise and well managed. I'm really pleased that we chose WindowWorx for our sliding doors, it was a very good experience from start to finish. Our initial engagement with the Sales team helped us understand our options and things we might want to consider and there was no "hard sell" - a nice, relaxed, dialogue that we really appreciated. We ordered two large Sunflex sliding doors and a new backdoor. The communications throughout was excellent. Everything went to plan and the fitters were brilliant. Highly recommend WindowWorx!

We have complained numerous times but we are still left with poorly installed windows and doors. The front door bows on a sunny day meaning that the lock seizes and we cannot get in or out of the front door. The rear sliding doors are not properly aligned and don’t seal or lock properly. Window units around the house have already started failing despite being less than three years old. Window Worx have failed to rectify these defects and have, at times, been difficult to deal with. We have therefore ended up seeking to resolve the matter via arbitration. I would avoid using this company!

We recently had new windows installed in our extension with WindowWorx. We had to match up a new bay window with an old bay window which with new building regs wasn't straight forward! Gutter repair. Very happy with these guys done a great job in repairing my guttering. Have used these guys before to replace facia boards and guttering about 8 years ago, excellent job.

Very unimpressed with their follow up for dealing with snags. Very unimpressed with the review. This particular window remains hanging free, so was obviously not addressed in the sercvice visit mentioned. People beware!

I had WindowWorx measure, supply and fit a large bifold door set and some adjacent windows. The whole survey and ordering process was pretty seamless with great communication and everything exactly as they had said. Sadly they broke a floor tile fitting one of the very big windows - I think it was just unfortunate - the floor tiles were very large 4ft by 2ft meaning it looked a serious issue. Its when something goes wrong that you really see the nature of a company. They could not have been better!!. They sent a team to replace the tile within a week. The overall boss Dave called to explain, apologise and say exactly what they would do to fix all, and to say step by step how it would be done, they paid for tiles and materials. Things do go wrong in life and it's really great to see how they promptly and positively sorted it all out and maintained the excellent communication and relationship. My journey with WindowWorx began with a very personable and efficient Louisa (sales representative) She was endlessly patient and helpful. Having ordered a complete house window replacement with sliding doors to the rear a survey was quickly arranged. The windows were fitted by a great team and look lovely. The doors had a problem but on contact the team sorted everything out. Amazing team thank you!

I would normally review a company after the product is fully installed. However, after my experience today with what turned out to be the owner of Window Worx I feel I need to write my review early to call this ‘gentleman’ out. So far I have only experienced extremely helpful and supportive staff at Window worx, who were recommended to us by our builders. The 4 stars are for those staff, Lauren who organised everything, the nice man who patiently measured. Laura and Warren who supported me today and Harry and Dale who have done a marvellous job so far of fitting windows and doors which look lovely. The lack of the last star is completely down to rudeness today of a man who I later found out is the owner. I had questioned the lack of three roof lanterns this morning with the fitters who said they would find out for me this morning. Around 10 I noticed a new face in my garden talking to the fitters so I went out, said hello, how are you etc and then assuming he was with the windows (as he didn’t introduce himself.) I asked about my sky lights. He said “ I have just explained to this gentleman.” Directing me to my builder…. I waited for him to continue. Nothing. So I asked him if he worked for Window Worx. “Yes.” “0kay. So could you please explain it to me then?” Unbelievably he looked at me and said “ I have just explained to this gentleman.” Indicating my builder again. Then he walked off leaving me stood at the end of MY extension in MY garden without an answer regarding MY sky lights which I paid for!!!! I just couldn’t believe it! As I know he will hopefully read this my answer to that dismissive attitude, had I not been so astounded this morning, should have been : thank you for explaining to the gentleman. However, that gentleman did not pay for those windows nor is that gentleman your customer! The only reason I know who this person was is because I asked one of the lads afterwards. The OWNER! Absolutely unacceptable, appalling behaviour and what an example to set to two young lads both stood there clearly embarrassed. For every person that may have to deal with this ‘gentleman’s’ misplaced sense of superiority in the future. Please stand your ground and don’t be rendered speechless as I was.

We got a lot of quotes from various window suppliers in the area, for 4.5m bi fold doors, as part of a large structural alternation project we were doing on the house. We were invited to visit Windowworx after an initial conversation on the phone. We were extremely impressed with the one to one service we received in the showroom, and were able to play with the various models of Bifold doors , and see which one we preferred. All the way through the project, Windowworkx were exceptionally good at communicating, and were happy to liaise directly with my builder to clarify dimensions and other details. They were happy to rearrange the date due to some project delays, and when the install happened, it was extremely efficient. We are very happy with the bifolds, and would definitely recommend Windoworx in future.

Windowworx replaced all our windows and outside doors and we are really pleased with the result and how professional and easy to work with they were. They helped us choose a design which retained some nice architectural features of the house. We needed to add lintels over many windows and they came up with a good way of doing this so you can't see what's been done. Their fitters, Craig and Callum, were really careful and did an excellent job, as did the bricklayers. Everyone we dealt with through the whole process was straightforward, helpful, professional and easy to deal with.

We built a new build house and used WindowWorx for all our aluminium windows, Origin front door and large slider, rear composite door and a fully glazed gable wall. From initial design and sales they were outstanding, going out of their way to solve an issue with our triangle gable design and finding a supplier who resolved the issue. The installers were prompt, friendly and very thorough. We visited multiple companies and they were the best value for money we could find.

I used Wondoworx some years ago for a refurbishment and extension project for my house. The windows and doors have been excellent in their performance. Better still, I had an issue with my front door not shutting as it should and a small trim part coming away from one window - this is after 4 + years. I called their office and from the moment the phone was answered service was excellent. I was updated on a regular basis and an installer came out within a few days to rectify the issues. The installer was very polite and very well trained / experienced in the WindoWorx product lines. Problems resolved within a short period time. Although the manufacturer that produced the internal blinds had gone out of business WindowWorx replaced all of the casements with a better versions as part of the warranty. Service was quick, friendly and would happily recommend them as a vendor.

We had a lantern and a set of sliding doors installed at our property in Henley in April this year. The job itself was quite good, all completed in a week, with good communication. However, upon completion of the work we realised the installers had damaged our natural oak floor during installation. We raised this with WindowWorx who sent their General Manager to take a look. He verbally accepted liability and followed this up with an email, again, accepting liability. WindowWorx went ahead and got a quote for the repair work which was £2,500. Following this, the owner of the business asked to come and have a look himself, so we welcomed him in. He immediately started talking about getting the insurance companies involved to figure out whose liability it was, which was odd, as we'd already established this. Needless to say their insurance company sided with their client. They fabricated a story about us damaging the floor ourselves, with no evidence whatsoever. They carried out zero due diligence, they didn't even visit the property, they just palmed us off. We have evidence by way of photographs that the floor was undamaged before they carried out the work, and damaged once completed. We took legal action against WindowWorx (this is their trading name, the limited company is actually First Direct (Kingston) Ltd) at significant cost to us, but again, we were palmed off with the same letter we'd received weeks prior from the insurance company. It was simply too expensive to continue perusing the matter in the courts, so we just had to walk away with a massive loss and a damaged floor. These people are not kind, they're not honest - they are deceitful and they lie. I would avoid them at all cost.

Window Worx did a fairly complex window installation and sliding doors in my extensions a few years ago. It was an excellent installation, and they were diligent and accurate. One of the large units of the feature window sprung a leak a month ago and started fogging. They replaced the unit within three weeks, no fuss, no bother, no quibble. Excellent from start to finish. Everything went to time and everyone’s approach was very professional. The fitters and estimator (sorry I don’t have your names) were on time and did a highly professional job. I would also like to mention Louisa C. She was an accomplished sales professional who struck a great balance of being proactive and persuasive but not pushy. Without Louisa the project would not have gone to Windoworx as I was just about to push the deal with another company. Overall I can recommend both the company and the Origin bi fold doors. Really happy with our lantern skylight and bifold doors. High end components and well designed. I was a very fussy customer but they obliged and replaced a slightly scratched window and listened to any grumbles. Friendly service and good fitters who cared about doing a good job. I want to use them again for the windows and doors on another project.

I had 4 windows fitted about 4 years ago and recently had a problem with one. I made a call to Chanelle who responded as if the windows had just been fitted. The problem was solved. I would recommend this company, as the price is competitive, fitters efficient and the after sales exceeded my expectations. Quite unusual these days.

WindowWorx recently installed 4 UPVC windows, aluminium bifold doors with integral blinds and an 8 foot square lantern roof to our new extension. Very noisy company.They throw windows down with disturbing noise at 7oclock in saturday morning.They are not respectful to the neighborhood at all.

We have a large vaulted ceiling kitchen/diner/lounge that WindowWorx glazed on three sides including windows and sliding doors. Fitting was first class and the product is excellent. Best of all is the aftercare service which is exceptional. Any problems are fixed immediately.

Recently used windoworx for bifold doors and new window which was broken. Really efficient and quick service. Chanelle in the office is very efficient and professional ,always replies to emails straight away. All in all a great service and good product. Would Highly recommend.

Can't walk around the "Showroom". Without anyone. Had no staff able to do that when we went to visit. Wasn't even let in the showroom at all.

We recently installed six sets of windows and one new composite front door at our property. I must say that after an initial hiccup and a small delay the project was completed to our satisfaction. The quality and workmanship are of highest standard but you must watch on delivery that the materials and design are exactly to your specifications and inform the head office immediately if there’s a discrepancy!

A great place for windows

Fabulous 6 leaf bi-fold doors with integrated blinds. There were a few niggles along the way, largely out of their control, but WindowWorx worked promptly to fix them to ensure we were pleased with the end result, which we certainly are. Would certainly use WindowWorx again.

After several minor problems, that were quickly sorted out by the team, I am very pleased with the final result of the installation of several windows and two sets of French doors. It has completely changed the look of my 70's style bungalow and I am delighted. Window Worx installed new grey upvc windows, glazed side door, and large aluminum sliding doors, plus a new enclosed porch to our 1920s house. We love the finished result. Window Worx have great products and the finished result is very good. We had a few installation issues, which Window Worx resolved. The office customer services team are friendly and helpful.

Fast shopping with good staffs

Initially had some trouble with getting information, timings etc, but then talked to Chanelle who was brilliant - excellent customer service, honest and followed up when necessary. Can not fault the product, our windows look fantastic and fit perfectly.

Dreadful! They sent very unprofessional fitters who didn’t have their own ladder, they borrowed mine several days in a row. The quality of installation was shocking. After a lot of stress they sent people who knew what they were doing to fix the mess at the third attempt, which needed time off work etc. By then I had zero confidence in the installation. I only realised afterwards they are not FENSA registered. I would give zero stars if I could- avoid like the plague!

Extremely disappointed in this company. They’re happy to take your money but when things go wrong with installations and the products that they supply you’ll have a job to get them back and take any ownership of the faults. I would not recommend this company to anyone
