We had two front doors fitted by the Eastleigh branch in June, and are very happy with our new doors. When one door panel arrived with a small dent, they replaced the full panel at no extra cost to us. Very pleased with our experience.
I can honestly say it has been a stress free expirance for me from start to instal with 2 well hard working and clean respectfull instal peoplewas told it could take 2days but with there skill and hard work they completed in one day for me.
Awful. Complete lack of communication or updates. As soon as they received my deposit they seem to have not cared. I am still none the wiser on when my doors will be ready for installation. Please reconsider using another service.
Had a tired and warped french door replaced with a brand new sliding patio door from Britannia and I cannot fault them! The installers were polite, tidy and efficient, and the door is exactly what we needed. I'll be recommending Britannia to anyone who needs windows and doors!

I get sometimes it can be a little it anxious making a decision to change your windows, but the team at Britannia made things simple. Efficient and friendly service. We have replaced all external doors - front and back with UPVC doors and the patio door with a bifold. All doors are of good quality and were expertly installed.

Replaced 7 upvc windows. Ash (Sales rep) was very helpful. His advice was great and he stayed in touch through to end. Office staff were very friendly. Surveyor was spot on. Fitters did a great job and were tidy. Windows really good quality and the price was reasonable
This is not the first time I have chosen Britannia to replace my windows, and once again I am very happy with the service. The fitters were polite and efficient, and best of all the new flush fitting casement window looks very high-end and the mechanics work smoothly.

Friendly, fast worker and an absolute stickler for perfection. Wish he was a builder and decorater, we’d never go anywhere else. My Brittania experience started with a visit to the showroom in Chandlers Ford. We knew we wanted new windows and doors, but hadn't put much thought into the detail. That's where we met Sam. She gave us plenty of good, practical advice to help us make the right decisions. Throughout the process, Sam was happy to help with any further questions or changes. After the intial order, the surveyor - Bob came round to finalise and confirm measurements and details. At this point, we made a change to the colour of both windows and doors which was not a problem, the amendment was dealt with quickly and easily. A few weeks later we got our fitting day and as expected, the boys - Callum and Jake were on time, polite and very hard working. They cleaned up as they worked and were a pleasure to have in our home. We went for slate grey windows and doors, and we are delighted with them. Tia managed our installation from the office and was also very helpful. The whole team has looked after us and we highly recommend Brittania. Their approach was refreshing - no pushy sales pitch, helpful and honest team, and the two fitters were a proper double act! Well done Brittania and thank you.

Brittania replaced a kitchen door at my daughters house. They arrived as arranged, were very diligent, removed the old door quickly and placed in their vehicle. New glazed door fitted to a very high standard. The installer took his time over the installation and spent time at the end to advise how the door locking system worked. Excellent company which I have used many times.
I have just had five windows replaced by Britannia Windows. The whole process from first contact, though quotation to final fitting went seamlessly without stress or problems. I am very pleased with the results and the the windows themselves look great and exceed my expectations. The three man fitting team arrived on time and completed the job within a day. They were polite , cheerful and professional. I would be more than happy to recommend Britannia Windows.
I feel this may be the only way for them to pay attention to my complaint sadly. Emailed them over a week ago and then emailed again a few days ago. The men who installed are windows were lovely but left hand marks on walls, chips of paint on our newly painted lounge. We then found that the windows had scratches on the glass panes internal between glazing and on the inside and outside panes on multiple windows. All we want is someone to rectify the panes and change them for decent quality, these marks were clearly made during the process of making, transferring or installing. No response so far from them to even address this issue. I do not have time to call in their opening hours so rely on them emailing. Good start and pretty fast with making the windows and installing but since we have been left disappointed with most of the windows
Had all my windows and patio door replaced by Britannia, the process was fairly smooth and they helped to clarify some pre installation questions about the property structure. Installation was straight forward and was completed quicker than expected, however the final finishing around the windows was not great as chunks of brick / plaster had fallen out and this was filled with an inappropriate filler which just fell out of the large gaps. Beading was also left chipped / broken at the corners. There was also lots of screws left over the drive which could have ended with damage to tyres if I had not used a magnet to clean up. The quality of the windows is ok, some of the plastic welds on the frames look messy and I ended up having about half of the glazing units replaced as they were either marked or had debris in the units. The customer service to get these issues fixed was great, the issues were reported and with no issues the windows were replaced. I would recommend Britannia as they have good offers at times but would advise to check the units carefully after fitting.

We have just had a new polycarbonate roof, new windows in the kitchen and conservatory and a new back door fitted by Britannia Windows. After an initial hickup, that was professionally and rapidly sorted, the work was completed in a timely fashion to a very high standard. This is the second time we have had this company do double glazing work for us. I would thoroughly recommend them to others.
I had an initial visit from Sam from the Eastleigh branch who gave me clear recommendations that met my needs without the long drawn out selling spiel I got from other companies. The quote was well priced and the options broken down clearly. The survey visit was smooth and the gentleman that did it was very pleasant. The installation date was sooner than expected and the team who turned up (Billy and Ben) were lovely. There was a issue with the front door as information had not been relayed properly between sales and factory but it was dealt with professionally and I was contacted within 20 minutes to explain that they would fit the french doors that day, and return the following week to fit the front door once the requested cat flap had been installed. Billy returned today to fit the front door, everything went smoothly and I received a call from the office to check everything was satisfactory and to apologise again for the delay. The doors look great and the installation guys left the place spotless. I will definitely use them again in the future
We are extremely happy with the quality our new casement windows and doors. They look superb in Agate grey and I must say that the fitters Billy and Ben went out of their way to be considerate and get every detail correct. We cannot fault the workmanship. Infact all the staff from Sam in sales, through to Tia who handled minor snagging issues with some handles, were a delight to deal with and we have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Very very very disappointed. We were so happy until the installation as we are struggling to get what we have ordered and they are making excuses and want us to settle for less and bad products which we have not ordered. We are shattered that we don’t want anything from them and want to contact complaints. Very hopeless lady sending us emails to dictate as if I m wrong as I confirmed each and everything before order in person their office. They are treating us as we are fools don’t know anything.

Very disappointed by the service by this company. We paid a deposit for new windows last May and have been trying for a month to get an installation date.Emails are ignored and the phone is permanently engaged.
Absolutely awful. Avoid. Wrong windows ordered and wrote a 6 page complaint which chased for months. Only information they could give me was that they had got it and that managers were reviewing which was a lie as year later I still have no reply.
Cannot recommend Britannia Windows enough! Joe & Keith, the installers were great - explained what was to be done, showed me everything I needed to know upon completion, very conciderate & tidied up really nicely. Very friendly guys who are an asset to the team!! I LOVE my new windows & door. Such an improvement.
Very Very disappointed have used this company three times third time definitely not lucky work not finish no one gets back to you shouldnt have to pay someone else to do the work they haven’t finish. Left us with no tarpaulin so flooring ruined no offer of replace or money off and work still outstanding
I'm happy with the final product, but unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing. By my count, it took 7 visits spread over 4 months (from the first fitting attempt to the last) to correctly fit 1 window. It was a comedy of errors with the fitters often turning up with the wrong size glazing, or a door hinge instead of a window hinge for example. On the first fitting the window was fitted with a panel because the glass wasn't ready yet - I was not made aware of this beforehand and was really annoyed to have to live in darkness for a few weeks - that fitting should never have gone ahead. Throughout there have been numerous times I have called for an update and been promised a call back that never came. On a positive note, the door I ordered was fitted correctly first time. All in all it's been months of bemusement and chasing that I won't risk repeating by using Brittania again.
Spent over £20k to have windows and doors replaced. Job was left unfinished, workman left and no communication since about completing it. Shambles.
We recently had our windows replaced by Britannia Windows. I have to say - it was an awful experience and we regret choosing them to carry out the work. There were many avoidable issues during the installation that caused frustration and delays. One or two issues is understandable, but honestly, there were so many (admittedly mostly minor) issues... There were two major issues we had to deal with though - One involving dishonesty. Covering up damage to brickwork caused through their carelessness as existing historical damage. This was significant damage which left a section of brickwork loose and unsafe. This incident was witnessed by a neighbour. And another. They replaced a fire-escape window with a non-escapable window. In a ground-floor child's bedroom. They argued it was unnecessary to fit a fire-escapable window. This was even though we had specifically requested it during 'measuring up' and again in writing. Dealing with these and other issues was stressful and frustrating. It took 40+ emails and phone calls to different people and departments over many weeks. I appreciate COVID-19 may have caused some operating difficulties, but this was ridiculous. Thankfully, everything is now installed, replaced, repaired and resolved. The quality of the windows seems good. The service and customer service we experienced at times during the installation was shocking and disappointing. I was going to leave a one-star review, but I decided on two stars because the actual quality of the windows seems good.
We have been extremely pleased with Britannia’s service. From the initial quote through to installation they were great and really easy to communicate with. We had our conservatory roof replaced and they were by far the least pushy and most competitive in terms of pricing. We can definitely recommend their services and will likely be returning again soon for a new front door!
We have just had our front door replaced by Brittania and the results are better than we had hoped. Apart from a delay in production due to Covid, we are completely satisfied and would recommend using them to family and friends. Instantly our home has more kerb side appeal and looks far more stylish.

Excellent from start to finish. We are really very happy with the windows we've just had installed by Britannia Windows. From the word go the process was great - Sam (Chandlers Ford showroom) was excellent for the quote - she measured up quickly and emailed us a quote a couple of hours later. We really liked that she didn't spend hours wasting our time with a pushy sales pitch and didn't keep offering us tacky "manager/buy today/nice people specials" - the price was the most competitive in the first place and it was a much nicer way of making a decision. I wish all sales people were like that. It took a little while to arrange fitting but that was fine as they were busy, but when they were fitted, the fitters Joe and Keith were brilliant. From the moment they turned up they were timely, professional, tidy and extremely polite. We weren’t quite sure what to expect as never nice having people work in your home but they were great and got the job done in super quick time - BUT to a really high standard. Nothing needed redoing or commenting on – I can't rate those 2 highly enough. Each day they tidied up and just got on with the job without fuss or hassle, I genuinely cant believe how good that process was. Joe and Keith were also very complimentary of the surveyor that came round to measure up, they said he had done a really accurate job which made their job a lot easier, so again that just reassured us that we made the right decision to go with Britannia. From this experience I would definitely use Britannia again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. Massive thanks to Sam, Joe and Keith.

We have recently had a new front door and windows replaced in our new home. After speaking with several companies we decided to go with Britannia Windows. A great decision. We were visited by Sam the sales lady, she was fantastic. No pushy sales techniques, just good advice. The next stage was the surveyor, he was equally as good. The installation guys did a fantastic job too. Polite, clean workers both very nice. We love our new windows and door and would definitely recommend Britannia to anyone. A really great company with excellent staff!
This company should be avoided at all cost. We ordered 16 windows, French doors and a front and back door for a new extension in 2015. They started fitting in January 2016. On the first day they fitted 8 windows in the wrong position. A different gang returned on the second day to remove the fitted windows and replace them in the right position. The company ordered the wrong size cills so all of these had to be changed. We called Britannia to say that the trickle vents had been left out of the frames, so they came at a later date and cut them by hand very badly. It took another 6 months for them to eventually repair the badly cut apertures. They fitted the glass panels into the windows and broke 5 panes that had to be re-ordered. The window beads were all cut too long so did not fit the windows so all of these had to be replaced as well. The trickle vents were also forgotten in the French doors. The back door window pane was supplied square but the aperture was rectangular so they stuck a piece of wood in the gap. When the glass finally arrived it had been ordered wrong again. The back door was a composite material, and after 6 months a huge split appeared, so it had to be re-ordered. When it was refitted the maintenance fitter( the only qualified person in the whole company) said that the door had been fitted out of plumb on the first occasion so when he refitted the door there was a large gap between the finished plaster and the door frame. We contacted the managing director about this but he refused to repair the plaster saying it was not their responsibility to make good plaster. The front door and side panel were designed to both open but the side panel was made as a fixed door, so this was scrapped and replaced but did not align with each other when closed. After many months they finally refitted them. The antique brass door and window handles tarnished after6 months so we're replaced. We paid the final bill but held back £300 until the plaster work had been repaired(the price quoted by a plasterer). To this day the MD has not agreed to return to finish the job and has ignored our request to finish the job. He has also ignored our request to send us our certificate and guarantee. Not withstanding the poor quality materials and workmanship, all of the management from the surveyor and office staff to the managing director are incompetent and extremely rude. Their customer care does not exists as soon as there is a problem with their quality and they will hound you for payment before they have completed the job. Don't be fooled by a professional looking quotation, it all changes when they start work and try to wriggle out of problems that are caused by their substandard quality.
I had all windows and doors replaced front and back. The installation team were fantastic, very friendly, polite and courteous, they cleaned up and left no mess behind everything was left spotless. They were amazing will not use anyone else. Highly recommend Britannia Windows, there is no firm better anywhere!!! Thank you So much fantastic job!!! Am absolutely delighted with my new patio doors. Right from the start to the installation everybody was polite and very professional. Pete the salesman was very knowledgable and advised on every aspect of the project. At no time did I feel pressured into buying unlike salesmen from other Double Glazing companies. Pete made me feel totally at ease. The fitters did a brilliant job ( Joe and Keith) explained what they were going to do and left the house very clean and tidy. The patio doors look brilliant. My friends have commented on how great they look. Steve who came to fit the threshold and fit the trim again very polite and helpful. Did a very professional job. Lynne and Sam in the office very helpful and always there to answer any questions that I had. Nothing was ever to much of a problem. I am now considering a new front door and having the windows replaced in the house. Only one company that I trust to do it and that is Britannia at Chandlers Ford.
Dear all, I am really impressed with my new window and doors. The service has been outstanding from start to finish: Peter, Sam, Keith and Joe. The relational and familiar communication and team ethos was what did it for me, no pushy sales pitch or pressure to sign within a timeframe. Good old fashioned care, consideration and respect and a heartfelt service. The quote provided was within my budget, affordable and quite frankly very reasonable in comparison with ‘big’ commercial leaders in the field. The attention to detail, accuracy and ‘going over and above’ was observed with Keith and Joe who did the installation. They were well looked after here with bacon butties and numerous cups of Tea. Joe left with a lovely picture from my youngster to put in the work van. I know I definitely chose the right company and will recommend to others always.
