Passivlux Ltd

I visited the showroom to look at Velfac and Rationel windows and doors. Katie took the time to fully explain the options available.

I have worked with Tom at Passivlux a couple of times and always found him to be incredibly helpful, professional and knowledgeable about the product. The service Passivlux provided has been efficient and reliable and I know I can trust them to do a great job, so would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We love our windows, look great and top quality. The team fitting were excellent - respectful, knowledgeable and helpful not to mention good friendly chaps. Finally the team at the office were also great. We did have an issue with the order, however the team at the office were helpful to work out a solution, and went out of their way to make it right for us, being really professional throughout. Could not ask for more. Highly recommend.

The service, communication and installation has been brilliant from Tom and the team. Will work with them again and would recommend them.

We would highly recommend the product and the company. Every member of the team was extremely helpful and professional with good communication throughout. Matt and Ash did a great job, clean, tidy, thoughtful with every attention to detail. Very happy with the outcome.

I had engaged with Passivlux for a considerable period while exploring glazing options. I had provisionally hoped to proceed with a Solarlux sliding door and Rationel windows. While my budget ultimately didn’t allow for the Rationel option, I was genuinely impressed with the support I received throughout. Both Tom and Tim were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful in sharing their experience, which made a real difference in guiding my decision. Their approach was refreshingly honest and informative, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Passivlux based on the quality of service I experienced. The installation itself was exemplary — carried out to a very high standard. The fitting team were professional, courteous, and clearly took pride in their work, which was both reassuring and appreciated.

It was by no means an easy installation but Passivlux kept on it and they did a really brilliant job. The windows and doors are a total joy Super great job thank you

This is the second time we have used Passivlux - we have been very happy with the service and end product both times. On this occasion we were replacing windows in a rental property in a conservation area , which had tricky planning permission requirements. Passivlux helped us with drawings and information to support the planning application and were helpful throughout. The installation went well and our tenants reported that the fitters were respectful of their space, worked hard with minimum fuss and the whole thing went very smoothly. Once the windows were fitted, we immediately received unsolicited feedback from neighbours as to how good they looked and a request for details of the supplier. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Passivlux are always a pleasure to work with, providing expertise and great quality service. We have worked on numerous projects and always had a great result and happy clients. Would highly recommend working with the Passivlux team.

Top quality products (Rationel in this instance). I work in construction so value good quality informed advice rather than salesmanship. I got really good advice prior to product choice, which lead to Rationel. For the install I was really impressed with the team - very friendly and keen to get things done. Their approach to snagging was top drawer. I was basically happy but they when they came back to measure for some tricky trims (one of the walls was not plumb), they decided to re do all the cills as they were not happy with how they had gone in. Very happy and would recommend.

Choosing a sub contractor you've not used before can be dauting. Tom and the team at passivlux have exceeded my expectations, well priced, helpful and timely at every stage of the process. I can't recommend them enough.

Working with Passivlux has been a very poor experience. I would not recommend them to anyone. The product is great, but the installation has been delayed and further delayed, very poor communication throughout the process and absolutely no sense of urgency. 3 months since the installation started and it’s still not finished. Very frustrating throughout and not even recieved an apology. Update - installation and snagging has now been completed and to be fair to Passivlux they have followed through on their commitment to rectify the problems and finish the work to a high standard.

great windows from Passivlux

Worked with Tom on various projects. Very knowledgeable, good products. Highly recommend

Really helpful team, great range of products and so accommodating on a really difficult project!

I started talking to Passivlux about doors for my garden office in early 2023. I had a long lead in for the order since I am building the office myself on weekends mostly. Along the way Tim and Tom have provided some good advice on floor levels, thresholds and lateral position to help with the final configuration. Tim came to the site a couple of times once to survey the openings and once to check them prior to making the final order. The units were installed last week. The team managed to install all seven units in less than a day. They were friendly, professional, respectful of our house and knowledgeable, they did a great job. The Velfac doors and windows ooze quality and I am very pleased with the result - the thin frame profiles were definitely the right choice and I could look at them all day. I would highly recommend Passivlux to anyone looking for high quality doors and windows, it has been a pleasure dealing with them. Now all I need to do is to finish the rest of the building.....

Can't recommend Tom, Tim and the team enough. We have specified Rationel windows and doors on a number of our projects and have been more than pleased with the product and service. Thank you.

I Have recently received and installed a consignment of Rationel doors and windows from Passivlux in Whitstable, i am really pleased with the quality of this product, delivered on time in perfect condition. Great during and after sales service from Passivlux team.

Very good and professional Company. Tim, Kevin and Tom are always happy to help. Highly recommended!

Extremely helpful and professional, combining both they worked together in finding a solution. No hesitation in endorsing Passivlux.

Excellent professional service at every stage. Delighted with the installation.

friendly, professional installation

Passivelux have provided a very good service. We now have excellent Rationel windows. Our installation team (primarily Mat and Ash) were very competent and accommodating, problem solvers and a pleasure to have on site. I have no reservations about recommending them.

Had my Phase 1, delivery of Passivlux windows and doors(Rationel Forma plus) for a new build project. Fitted all units myself, really pleased with delivery and product quality.

Another first class installation by Andy, Michael and the team. Rational Windows really are the best and these guys know what they are doing to fit them so that they look and work at their best. Great job, Passivlux.

Over the moon with every aspect of having 7 windows supplied by Passivlux. The personal in the office were extremely knowledgeable and polite keeping us updated with delivery and starting times. The window fitters Andy, Matt, Ash and for 1day Mike were excellent. Polite, tidy, clean and professional with outstanding workmanship. Our thanks to all at Passivlux. Paul and Jill Batson.

I’ve recently had my windows replaced with new Rationel ones. I was so impressed by the quality and look of the windows, but even more so by the install team. They were extremely polite, courteous and professional - they obviously take great pride in their work. The ordering process took a bit longer than I’d have liked but regardless I won’t hesitate in using Passivlux in future.

Excellent service, fitters were ace and the product is fantastic

We love our door and found the door fitters to be highly professional, efficient, friendly and courteous. We would not hesitate in recommending Passivlux.

We now have three wonderful new Passivelux windows in our cottage, perfectly fitted thanks to Mike’s expert consultancy. An absolute credit to his firm and a real gent. And a shout out to Tom back at the Passivelux office for getting the windows to us on time, thanks Tom!

A very professional organisation. From intital enquiry, to showroom viewing, to clarity of quotation, technical support, installation and follow up - they were excellent. They even flagged up post install that I had overpaid! Would highly recommend.

Ordered two velfac windows and a glazed velfac door for a 4 car garage, Tom was excellent to deal with! items arrived on time.

Great before and after care service from Passivlux

A very smooth process - stuck to their schedule and installed some beautiful windows. The whole team I met were polite and knowledgeable - firmly in the measure twice cut once camp. Communication was good and Tom oversaw the process with calmness when the rest of our build was anything but!

Installed Rationel windows and french doors. Excellent service from Passivlux from quote to install and very responsive in resolving any issues. Friendly and polite, skilled staff.

We have bought windows and a front door from Passivelux and have to say that both the products and the service are completely faultless. We live on a relatively busy road and went for the tripled glazed windows for the front of the house and can barely hear any traffic as a result. We had a front door installed which didn’t quite go to plan the first time round which was no fault of Passivelux. Tim and the team replaced the door and it is now completely faultless, without doubt the best front door I’ve ever had! Special mention should go to the fitting team, Andy and Mike are some of the best tradesmen we’ve had in our home, they were polite and courteous at all times. When we had the door replaced there was understandably some slight damage to the plaster and the cladding on the front of the house. They came back the next day and fixed all of this without any fuss whatsoever to an exceptionally high standard. They also cleaned up extremely well as well as taking all remaining rubbish with them. They are a credit to Passivelux.

Great place lovely people to deal with

It's a big purchase and I spent a long time phoning round different companies and frankly being fobbed off with sales talk. I didn't want to end up spending money on something I wasn't happy with and more or less gave up. Then someone recommended Passivlux - they don't mess around and they have done a really good job. Aside from the quality of the windows (Rational Aura+) which I'm really pleased with, the fitters did a careful and thorough job - making good has been minimised and they were tidy, respectful etc. The new windows are properly airtight in the openings, which has made a huge difference. Also I opted for triple glazed so I no longer get that cooling effect I had from my older double glazed units.

Excellent quality bi-fold doors. They feel really substantial and work beautifully. Tom & co at Passivlux a pleasure to deal with.

Conker Conservation specialise in ultra low energy buildings and Passivhaus. I have been working with the team at Passivlux for over 10 years on my projects. There are many options for triple glazed windows now in the UK, but Passivlux have more experience than anyone else I have tried in the south east region. I value their technical approach and honesty, it is especially valuable liaising with them at an early stage in the design process so that the windows can be assured of meeting our Passivhaus requirements. Getting the window details right is time consuming and should not be underestimated, Passivlux are an essential part of this process.

We used Passivlux to supply and install all of the windows and doors for our new build home. They had a good choice of products which we could see in the showroom, were knowledgable about them and helped us to choose the best ones for our airtight home. They did a good job and happily came back a couple of times to fix a couple of niggly little issues. However, we had some more serious problems with our original sliding door. Without being asked, Tim offered to replace it at no cost to ourselves. Our new door is wonderful, looks good and slides like a dream. The team were professional, polite, respectful of our property and covid rules. They paid great attention to detail and did a fantastic job. We can't recommend Passivlux highly enough. Will definitely use them again.

Fantastic showroom, displaying an array of glazing products. Great team to work with, particularly with design work and pay great attention to detail
