Good service and product.

I used Headway for my windows and doors for our new house that we are renovating, all the guys at Headway from start to finish are amazing top quality work excellent work all done very quick amazing friendly staff everything was top standard nothing was to much trouble all staff were very helpful making the entire process run smoothly, the doors and windows looked great after installation, also the price was very reasonable, I would 100% recommend Headway 5* Top work for us thank you guys 😊

Just one example of unacceptable customer service as below. I rang them to report warranty works. I was told I had to email them with all details which I did on 10 May ‘23. On 17 May their surveyor called and told me I would hear from their office about a fitting date. 10 July I emailed their office seeking an update - no response. On 14 July I rang them but could only leave a message for an update - no response. On 18 July I emailed the manager asking for a response - yes guess what no response. Still no response as of posting this review on 20 July. I endorse other customer reviews which say Do Not Use Headway Windows!! Their comments below are naturally very defensive. They are doing me a favour of honouring a 10 year warranty! Utter rubbish, like their customer care. Postscript The young guy who deals with warranty works came today 1 August to fit the replacement door glazing. He does a good job. In fairness to Headway I have revised my assessment to good. Just a pity the company doesn’t learn from these customer communication failings.

We have just had a new front door supplied and fitted by Headway. The professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable salesman recommended a 48mm, solid core composite door. This was perfect advice. After an initial meeting to go through design options, we picked the style and additional door furniture and placed the order. Once the door was made, an installation date and time was agreed. The fitter arrived bang on time and within a matter of hours the new door was in. The quality of the product and fitting is exemplary and we couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Headway to anyone.

Do not use. Installed a brand new window that was broken (crack right down entire new window) whilst we were at work. They also broke the beadwork and on top of this did not install the window board we paid for. Very poor service and workmanship

Excellent from start to finish. Having previously been let down by a very well known televised company I was referred this company by a colleague who wouldn't use anyone else. Now I see why. Profesional fast and efficient. The workmanship speaks for itself. Very very happy

We got a new front door from Headway 5 years ago - helpful and adaptable design and order, installation was perfect and 5 years on it is absolutely solid and well sealed. Would highly recommend. :)

I have never negatively reviewed any company before but have had such poor service from this company and my house is more draughty than before the glazing was changed. The actual windows and doors are perfectly fine, good appearance but fitting / service repair has not addressed issues and the customer service is appalling. We have had several problems relating to the windows and the way they have been fitted (draughts - which have never been properly rectified) and recently (Jan) needed to have a door adjusted which has slipped on its hinges and is letting in a draught. I teach so asked if they could do an after 4pm appt as it would be a short job. I was told no as it is too far out of their core area. I had to book into Feb half term (Monday) and wait almost a month, then - on the Thursday before - I got a message that they could not come on Monday as the engineer had annual leave booked. I left a message saying when I would be around for them to reschedule later that week and heard nothing back. At all. I chased daily and on Monday, spoke to the engineer who should have been visiting me but was in the office answering phones to cover the man who books appt's absence. He could not reschedule or book anything (so why wasn't he out doing jobs?). When I called on Tuesday, I had to call 3 times as nobody got back the first 2 times when I spoke to staff who passed on messages to the service team (each an hour apart). When I got through I was told the week was now booked solid and I could not have an appointment. The bookings man again told me the engineer had been on holiday (though I had spoken to him in the office) and failed totally to acknowledge that as they messed it up, they should have been putting it right. I will now have to wait until April to get a draughty door I reported in January fixed. I find it very telling that it has taken 4 years to get a response to my review above. I no longer have dealings with the company and my windows are still not perfect, nor have certain areas been 'made good' to the standard one would expect from a professional company. And, by the way, telling you I teach and can only do appts before 4pm in the school holidays is not 'demanding' a late appointment. But telling me my school holiday appointment has been cancelled at very short notice because the engineer is on annual leave then phoning to find him in the office - well, good luck explaining that as me being unreasonable.

Although my door looked good to start with I quickly realised the wrong glass had been used (see through rather than opaque) rendering it totally useless and see-through. After calling the company I found out that it was discovered when making the door that they were unable to use the opaque glass with the design I had chosen, yet even though this was one of my main design wishes, nobody bothered to call and tell me prior to installation. Even though it was not done to the specifications on the contract I was left with few options or assistance from the company and a door I now hate. From the very beginning they were late for every appointment from sales, to surveys to installation. We would constantly have to call and check where they were. It has taken 3 weeks for them to respond to an email complaint and each time I have spoken to someone the story has changed, I have been lied to, or even laughed at. They have refused my requests for written correspondence, I believe on purpose, so I have no record of what’s been said. All in all a very distressing experience that has cost me lots of money and stress. I have been made to feel as if I’m in the wrong even though it was completely their fault, if I had been contacted before installation to say they could not do what I had ordered or at least offered a simple apology my rating would not have been so low. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company. We’ve had all the windows in our 3 storey semi replaced (16 of them) and we couldn’t be happier with the result. I was dubious about replacing our old timber windows with PVCu, but the ones Headway supply are of excellent quality and the house is so much brighter, warmer, quiet and secure. The fitter was exceptionally hard working and quick and the finish on the windows is outstanding. I highly recommend this company – they’ve been a pleasure to deal with and have done a brilliant job.

Quality Product....Quality Price

Very poor - we were promised a quote following a site visit but a simple lean-to conservatory (for which we got quotes easily from others) seemed too much for them, and we got no proper response despite chasing the quote several times and not being replied to.

Waited and waited for a quote and had a ton of excuses. Can't comment on the installation.

Over the years Headway have fitted several odd double glazed units when a single pane has begun to mist over badly. We have always been pleased with both the price and the quality. Recently we had a large pane in our main room misting over badly. Ron, from Headway had a look at it and we were given a good price for the one big pane; however he also suggested that we might consider a complete unit as other panes in the unit had already given signs of going. We were given a very good price for the complete unit, and found Ron's suggestions very helpful. Last week the fitters from Headway came to fit the unit. The work was done in less than a morning, and it now looks and works brilliantly. The room looks new! If we need more windows doing we would not hesitate to go to Headway Terry & Maureen Smith, Canterbury.

We had two doors replaced by Headway and they were very competitively priced. Fitters were extremely tidy and left both areas spotless. Would recomend to anyone thinking about replacing any doors, no presure salesman either. Mr J Carte

What a God send when you need them!! We had a UPVC door fitted by a builder a few years ago which we had purchased from a DIY store which fell apart. Having looked around we used Headway generally because our neighbor recommended them. They were great they did a repair for us the same day to make us secure whilst we waited for our new door. It was fitted the very next day and looked amazing and the quality of the door and locks were fantastic. We have since had a conservatory which has really opened up the house and the planning they put it to make our dream home was superb. Highly recommended if you want quality and a good finish.
