MZR Drains

Paul was brilliant, lovely to hear how its a family run business and all the scope of works they do. Clean, tidy , all the right tools and left the place even cleaner than before. Informative , professional and done quickly. Couldn't ask for more.

Great service from Paul today to conduct a drain inspection ready for our build - explained all what he was doing, very polite and professional . Louise from Olton Solihull

I was most impressed by the service and professionalism yesterday when my drain was unblocked. Knowing the charge upfront gave me piece of mind-I understand that the company can also rebuild inspection chambers ( I think they used to be called manholes!) so I will reach out further for a quote.

Superb service! We had an issue with a blocked waste pipe and received quick, friendly, professional and reassuring service throughout. Would 100% recommend.

Great Service, proper identify the issue and given right advice. Highly Recommend

Paul came out to survey our drains. Such a polite, helpful man. Great service from start to finish. Kept me in the loop throughout it all.

MZR came out to my property as I was having issues with a blockage in the bathroom, Mark, Ross and Mike came and had it all sorted within 30 minutes and also found that there was some internal issues which was causing the recurring blockage. I Will be having MZR back out to complete the repairs, fantastic service!

Quick response and very helpful service and advice from Paul of MZR Drainage.

The plumber arrived exactly on time and sorted my drain. Paul was very professional, polite and cleaned up afterwards. Brilliant service

Great service from MZR! Thank you for helping us out 😁

Very quick and brilliant service. And proper professional work 10/10

I am very pleased with the service I received from MZR Drains I received a phone call on the day to provide me with am ETA The engineer was polite, helpful and professional. He ensured the area he worked was clean and tidy Overall I am very happy with the service and would highly recommend

Really pleased with the quality and efficiency of work carried out by Michael. He went well beyond what i expected in terms of helpfulness and advice. Highly recommend this service!

Fabulous service from Jason.. arrived quickly and resolved the drainage issue without any fuss.. top guy and highly recommended!!

Very good price and fantastic service. I am very impressed with the service provided by Paul (MZR Drains). Paul arrived on time and he was polite, professional and took the time to properly investigate the issue rather than rushing the job. We had a difficult recurring toilet blockage that a previous attempt had not fully resolved. The engineer worked thoroughly using specialist equipment, successfully cleared the blockage and restored the toilet to full working order. What I particularly appreciated was the honesty and professionalism. The engineer clearly explained what he found, discussed possible causes, answered all my questions and provided sensible advice on the next steps instead of trying to sell unnecessary work. The work was carried out carefully and efficiently, and the price was very reasonable for the service provided. I highly recommend MZR Drains to anyone needing drainage or blockage assistance. Excellent service from start to finish. Thank you again Paul😊.

Arrived within 90 mins. Pleasant and polite guys. Inspected drains and downpipe. Explained what was causing the blockage and cleared it within twenty minutes. The guys explained everything as they were going through the job. Cleaned up afterwards. Reasonable price. Well done, thanks. Certainly recommend.

I am extremely disappointed by the level of customer service I received. On the 27th of July, at exactly 8.45am, During my phone conversation with one of the MZR representatives, I was trying to explain my concern when he accused me of shouting. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he told me to "shut up," called me a "silly man," and then abruptly ended the call. This behaviour was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Regardless of how challenging a conversation may be, customers should always be treated with courtesy and respect. I expect the organisation to investigate this incident and ensure that staff are properly trained to communicate professionally with customers. I hope appropriate action is taken to prevent anyone else from experiencing such poor treatment. Thank you for your response. I acknowledge that I was the tenant rather than the person who contracted your services. However, that does not change the fact that I was spoken to in a disrespectful and unacceptable manner. My review is about the conduct of the telephone conversation, not the quality of the drainage work. During the call, I was told to "shut up," called a "silly man," and the call was ended abruptly. Regardless of whether there was a disagreement or whether you believe I raised my voice, there is no justification for a representative speaking to anyone in that way. Your response also fails to address these specific allegations and instead focuses on the completed work, which was never the subject of my complaint. In addition, you have publicly posted what appears to be my personal contact details and address in your response. I consider this inappropriate. Publishing my phone numbers and home address publicly without my consent, I will report this response to the review platform, as publishing someone's personal information can breach the platform's policies and it raises data protection concerns I stand by my review because it accurately reflects my experience of the customer service I received. I do not accept the tone or content of your message, which includes personal insults and threats. I will not engage in further communication of this.

We had to call MZR out on a Saturday afternoon due to a blocked external drain causing flooding. Jason turned up within the hour and sorted the problem really quickly and at a great price. Will definitely use them again in the future should anymore drain problems arise!

MZR were very professional and completed the job of resolving a toilet blockage charging a fair price. I would use them again should I need to.

Amazing service. Guy arrived within a few minutes of my placing the call. Very quickly assessed the drain problem and fixed it. No mess. Very professional and so fast. Drains now flowing freely. Very happy with the service and will recommend without reservation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review "I cannot recommend this drainage company enough! Mike was extremely helpful and polite on the phone and Ross was extremely efficient and productive. We had a stubborn blocked drain that other companies couldn’t fix, but they arrived promptly, were incredibly professional, and explained exactly what the issue was and how they’d resolve it. The team worked efficiently, kept everything clean and tidy, and charged a fair, transparent price with no hidden fees. They even gave us great tips to prevent problems in future. Friendly, reliable, and expert work – I’ll definitely be calling them again if we need anything.

Absolutely amazing service! We had a slow draining shower and it got critically worse last night. I messaged MZR at 10:30pm, had a response at 6:30am this morning and a booking for this afternoon to fit around my work schedule. Paul arrived and cleared a giant ball of hair from it in minutes and even gave me a product recommendation on how to prevent it happening again. Paul then ran the shower for a while to double check the problem was truly solved. Fantastic friendly and professional engineer, ridiculously fast and efficient service and the price quoted on the website was the price paid. Couldn’t ask for more! 100% recommend!

Paul just attended and did an excellent job and very quick too. Fully recommend this company and the professionalism.

I had this company come out today and yesterday to fix a blockage in my property, I was very anxious about having this done but Ross and Dan were so professional they told me what they were doing every step of the way, They fixed the problem and they cleaned up after themselves sooo good, very pleased with the service from these 2young men, thank you.

Great all round experience from the team from the person on the phone to the team member who came round to fix the problem. Everything sorted within 2 hours of placing the phone call. Clear up front price, friendly staff

I honestly can’t praise this company high enough. Their customer service and fixing our actual problem has been faultless. Special thanks go to Donna & Jason. Their professionalism, sense of humour (especially dealing with me 🤣) and their expertise is outstanding. Thank you so much ☺️

I had an extremely slow draining/ block drain which I had tried clearing myself several times. Not a pleasant job! Called MZR in desperation, after spending a frustrating morning trying to get again clear the blockage. Their specialist/engineer turned up within 25/30 minutes of my initial call & cleared the blockage fast & efficiently at a more than reasonable price. First class response & service, I would recommend to anyone need an unblocking service.

Excellent service from call centre to engineer. Booked appointment for same day service and everything sorted within 2.5 hours, absolutely great. The staffs at MZR Drainage are very polite and friendly and it is definitely highly recommended as first priority. Keep it up.

Have used this company twice now . excellent customer service Quick response Clear and reasonable pricing Excellent engineers Would 100% recommend

Amazing service, contacted at 12:30 and they were here by 3pm, drain problem solved in about 15 minutes. Highly recommend

Nicely served by Paul. Thank you, MZR, for your services.

What an exceptional service, called at 8 this morning and their amazing engineer Paul was here by 10.30. It was a much bigger job than expected as pipes blocked with paper everywhere and deeply impacted and he just stuck with it and persevered for 3 hours to make sure the job was finished properly, such a kind and helpful man who put our minds at ease. I can’t recommend them enough absolutely exceptional and again many thanks to Paul you’re amazing

Excellent service both on telephone when booking & doing the job.

"Phone was answered quickly and within a short time an MZR was assigned to the job and he arrived within 15 minutes of the anticipated time. Did an excellent job and was most helpful. A thoroughly professional company and the problem dealt with."

Blocked external drain sorted in just 30 minutes, I couldn’t believe how quickly the issue was resolved. Big thanks to Jason as well; such a polite, friendly, and professional guy. Highly recommend MZR Drainage Services and the fixed price was very reassuring.

Blocked toilet, sorted within 5 minutes. Very professional service, fixed price gave peace of mind. Thank you Jason, very well mannered and professional gentleman.

Great service from Jason. My DIY attempts to clear our blockage only resulted in making things worse, including losing a drain rod, 17m down the drain pipe. Jason arrived and cleared a our blockage quickly and managed to retrieve the broken rod. Wonderful service and a great guy!

I can't thank this company enough ,they were really helpful and friendly when booking an appointment . The technicians arrived on time and were again really friendly and professional and sorted the issue quickly and efficiently. I was extremely impressed with the whole experience and would recommend to anyone , thank you so much for your help !!

Sending gratitude to Paul today for sorting the drains! Done in no time at all. Have an awesome day!

The downstairs toilet had backed-up to the rim and wouldn’t shift. It wasn’t a (‘legs crossed) emergency as we have an upstairs toilet at the rear of the house that feeds into a separate drain. Phoned MZR and they arranged to come on Weds morning. Their engineer, Michael, phoned to say he was on his way and arrived 10 mins later. He explained what he was going to do, fed the drain camera down the manhole and showed me on his CCTV screen. All sorted with the minimum of fuss. I’d have no hesitation in recommending MZR. Excellent service.

We had a drain that needed repairing and Mark was brilliant. Would highly recommend MZR Drainage Services.

We has an under ground blockage, after ringing around to get a quote we settled on MZR Commercial & Drainage The engineer Paul sorted the problem in less than an hour. He was really courteous and polite helping to remove furniture to enable hi access to and outside door that led to the main drain. It's an excellent service, really good customer focused when talking to them on the phone. £96 was the cost for this work. I recommend these guys to anyone requiring help with blocked drains etc

Excellent, on time, within 24hours and a thorough job done. Fast and friendly service. I would recommend these guys any day.

Top job done ,very friendly staff ,very good rates ,highly recommend 👍

Amazing service received all round. I booked the call first thing and had been attended to by 2pm. The lady they sent provided an excellent service, talked me through what she was doing and provided sound advice for preventing future issues. She is a real credit to the business. Thank you for your services.

Was booked in for the next day but got a message saying Jason could come the same day. We had an blocked soil stack with no man hole cover access. Jason came out and got to work. Very friendly, great guy to talk to and did a great professional job. Unblocked and cleaned up. Great work! Would highly reccommend. Cheers Jason and the team.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company! Jason, Donna and Chloe have been fantastic. They have provided support every step of the way through what has been a very difficult build . They all went above and beyond with their help and guidance. Jason came out twice and his knowledge and understanding of the situation was invaluable. Donna took all my calls and sent help straight away and Chloe took lots of time to explain the very lengthy and detailed report. The turn around time of her reports was exceptional and without her speed and efficiency it would have been a very miserable Christmas. I cannot thank you all enough. I hope you all have a great Christmas! Best wishes Jener

Quick, Cheap and cheerful

We run a fitness business & property business My wife called this morning around 9am with one of our properties that had blocked drains & it was spilling out into the garden / slabbed area The owner of MZR Drainage Services mentioned he would get somebody to us within 2 hours Literally 1 hour later we had a call from Paul to say he would be with us in 20 minutes Paul turned up & was totally professional We had fieces blocked right to the top of the drain & withing 40 minutes he had totally unblocked the drain & cleaned up after him Having been a landlord for over 18 years I have never had such a professional service Thanks again for such a great service Dave & Nikki Hughes DNH Property Ltd & Fitbody Transformation Ltd

Highly recommend. Came and sorted an outside drain issue and left the surrounding area spotless. Very reasonable and clear pricing too. The engineer (Scott) was very polite and professional and did an excellent job. Thanking you all at MZR Pete

Genuine, honest company with good prices.

The drains was block and I try to solve it for an hour but it’s not work. MZR just come on time, unblock it with only one minute 😂😂😂 This is the power of professional and exceptional knowledge 👍 Highly recommended MZR for everyone 👍👍👍

Paul B from MZR arrived same day. Talked me through the problem, quickly and efficiently sorted my drain blockage. Friendly service and would recommend.

I scheduled an appointment between 9 am and 1 pm for an urgent sewage problem and called at 1 pm for an update, only to be told we were ‘next’. The technician didn’t arrive until 3 pm, and neither the booking team nor the technician apologised, as I had to take time off work. Overall, the technician was courteous, the sewage issue was fixed, and due to the weather, I’m more understanding this time. Nevertheless, communication and service could be improved.

Absolutely Brilliant! We had a blocked drain out the front of my mother in laws house. MZR came round on the same day and fixed the drain in under an hour. we would highly recommend.

I highly recommend these guys , they came promptly and fixed the issue at reasonable prices! Thank you guys

Had a blocked drain, and so decided to get a quote from few services. MZR answered straight away and allowed me to explain the issue. They arrived within half an hour , and also cleared the blockage within 15 minutes. Special shoutout to Jason and Donna, who were really supportive and friendly. Fixed prices, which is fair, but a little expensive. Overall really good service :)

Excellent response. Problem very quickly resolved. And the site left clean and tidy. Highly recommend MZR.

I had a real problem with my drain rods getting stuck down the rodding point, and Scot from MZR Drainage came out to sort it. He arrived quickly, was professional from start to finish, and had the issue fixed within the hour. Not many companies even offer proper rod removal, but Scot handled it with ease. Really knowledgeable, friendly and efficient service – he explained what he was doing and made sure everything was left clean and working perfectly. Couldn’t recommend Scot and MZR Drainage highly enough-top service

Fab service, would recommend

Very impressed with MZR. Easy booking, no fuss, updates via text and called before arriving. Fixed the blocked kitchen drain and had all the equipment needed in their van. Nice and courteous. I like the fixed fee with no hidden extras.

I had a serious drain issue in my house. External drain and both upstairs and downstairs toilets were completely blocked (given the interlinked nature) meaning I couldn't use the toilet or any of the sinks. Clearly a serious emergency. I contacted Mike who responded immediately and booked Paul to fix the situation. Paul did a fantastic job and cleared the issue promptly.

Is the third time I use Mzr during service? The job very good and the price is reasonable well done, Scott

Very professional company with skilled and friendly associates. I recomend it to anyone who has drainage problems. Imbeatable price. Thank you!

Real friendly guy. Arrived same day as complaint to Council and fixed/cleaned drains in my garden and 2 of neighbours. Also cleaned up after. Excellent service. Thanks 👍🏻

I got the call and Jason that turned up was very professional and within 45min blockage was cleared. I thought the price was keen seeing it was a weekend callout I would definitely use them again.

From start to finish, superb, service absolutely brilliant, Let's mention Donna with her customer service and Paul M fixed my toilet problem (drainage).. you lot are a star of this company, (touch wood) i will call again if theirs problem's. not expensive at all. top bunch. Thanks again

Yet again Ross came to our rescue on a recall to sort out the blockage. He’s such a lovely guy, polite always smiling and nothing is too much trouble . Thank you so much MZR and particularly Ross

Really grateful for all his help, dealing with the blockage further down the road, coming back to tell me what was happening and reassuring me about everything. Also cleaned up as much as possible for me. While I hope I never have to deal with this again I would thoroughly recommend MZR drainage and call them again.

The guy did the fantastic job to be honest, amazing work 👍 and quick as a professional.

Super service, Ross is friendly, helpful, good price, super business, would recommend to anyone straight away , thanks for a good job.

Wow, what can I say Ross is absolutely amazing, seemed to be quite a big job, to sort our blockage out, but he did it with no problems. Ross is such a lovely and caring person, explained everything he did as he was doing it. would highly recommend MZR and Ross. Ross thank you so much for you hard work.

It was a tough fix and he was determined to get it done and he did! Would 100% recommend MZR for any drain issues!

Blocked household drain with some building material in the drain. Very impressed by the efficient, friendly service today from Jason and Gaz, sorted the problem in 40min. I also appreciated the advice we received on phone contact with Mike from MZR, having had a very expensive quote from another company, who did not fix the problem. Thoroughly recommend MZR.

Mark came to repair various areas in our drains . He was here for 3 days and I had no issue with leaving him keys etc. he was polite , tidy and respectful.

Superb company - quick response. Jordan - top man , superb professional engineer- highly skilled resolve the problem in no time. Thank you - highly recommended.

I found this company on a Google search. I was happy with the promise of a fixed price. The team were with me within 2 hours of calling which I was very impressed with. The drain was difficult to access and very blocked with fat build up they did clear it but quickly backed up again. I was advised that if it does back up the drain will need to be jet washed so booked to get this done. It was a difficult job but was sorted and I am very pleased with the company and the team that carried out the work. I would definitely recommend this company.

Jordan came out same day - top job highly recommended!!

Blocked drain in the garden. I called just before lunch time today and by 1pm help had arrived. The guy attending was really pleasant. Issue sorted in no time. The pricing is very reasonable, no hidden costs or surprises. Thank you

After calling another so called company out, who on arrival told me they charged £250 an hour and to get rid of them I had to pay the £49 call out fee, I called MZR drainage. They were absolutely awesome. They came within 30 mins and Jason (the engineer) sorted my blocked sewer drain within literally 5 minutes and it only cost £96 inc call out fees and vat. He was my knight in shining armour after the awful experience I’d had just 40 mins prior. PLEASE DONT BE WARY…THIS COMPANY IS TOP NOTCH AND I’LL BE MOST DEFINITELY USING THEM AGAIN IF NECESSARY.

Mark carried out some work at my home today and I can’t speak highly enough of him. Mark was extremely polite, friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything to me as he carried out the work. Mark is a credit to the company and I’m really grateful for his help today - thank you

Absolutely fantastic. Came within 30 min and fixed the problem in less than hour . Would recommend to everyone.

Ross was fantastic and very helpful. Had Ross & his colleague from MZR drainage come to unblock our main drain which they spent nearly 2 hours unlocking, they tried their hardest and didn’t give up until they got the blockage clear. Couple of weeks later our other drain got blocked and we knew we could rely on MZR to solve our problem who came out in no time to do the job. We got lucky to get Ross again and he managed to clear the blockage and cleaned all the mess. Couldn’t recommend this company enough and very happy with the service offered. Thank-you Ross 👍

Very helpfull. Our drain was blocked, they came on same day and unblocked. Blocked again the next day and they came back, they carried out CCTV camers survey and discovered that some work needed underground. Work was done with a week. I will use them again.

What a great company, just got on with the job and sorted the problem out , if you need a drainage company look no further thanks guys 👍

I've used MZR several times on commercial properties. Every time they have been exceptional, very prompt in attending and professional throughout

I called MZR yesterday, they send me Mr Jason this morning, very good professional, he explains the job itself and in 20 min the blocked drain was clean again with normal flow. I just regret myself for not calling then before instead of try to find another company online , it would save me few days of stress. Good price ,can pay by card , quick fix ,very friendly and reliable service. Thanks Jason for your great service today.

Fantastic, would 100% recommend. Had two very blocked toilets in an apartment. Called MZR Drainage who gave me a fixed quote right there and then, with a two hour lead time. 5 minutes later, Jordan was on his way and would be arriving in 15 minutes. The job was done efficiently and Jordan was great- Thank you so much!

Great experience. Filled out a contact form and received a response within the hour. They had someone to my property less than 24 hours later and had the drain unblocked within 15 minutes of arrival. The guy that arrived was very friendly and respectful of our property. Price was very reasonable, too!

I arrange an appointment with MZR they rang to say what time they would arrive and they were on time, the guy who came was Paul Marney he was fantastic, very professional he had to leave our property to get another van, he completed the job and also left the areas clean, I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has a problem with their drainage a massive thank you

Can’t believe how easy this was, first company I saw on google, booked a call out for the same day. Had flooding in our gully, drain waste had come up and there was loo roll and debris all over the floor! Drain blockage sorted within 30 minutes and all the gunk was cleared. Great service, good price and would definitely recommend!

Called to discuss a drainage survey that had been carried out by this company by the previous property owner for a house we have just purchased, and was greeted by a very impolite individual, who told me it’s Christmas and put the phone down. You brand yourself all over your website as a 24/7 out of hours service, yet are not even willing to provide 2 minutes of your time to discuss something over the phone. Where I appreciate you’re more than deserved of a Christmas break, this should be reflected on your office hours available online, or simply could have also been explained a lot less aggressively than did! It’s the 27th December, Wednesday and a none bank holiday as far as your business shows you are open! Speaking to a prospective customer in such manner is appalling, safe to say I will not be calling back to discuss any further matters and I will not recommend this company to anyone!

Rang them and told them what my issue is with the blocked toilets. They listened turned up early next day and took 15 mins. 2 other drain companies came before them and didn't listen to me ,as this isn't the first time I had this blockage, and they wasted my time and there's. Well happy. Not fussing. Job well done lads.

Very professional, sorted job out in no time, would highly recommend

Ross and Paul helped unblock a drain and completed a drain survey. The report is not through yet but while they were surveying they explained what they were seeing and where the pipes run. Drains all cleared and toilets now flush as normal. Very happy! Would recommend.

Excellent service today, called them within 2 hours job done. Definitely would recommend them, very competitive price. Thank you Jason.

Very professional & efficient - Jordan P attended exactly when they said they would & cleared my blocked drain quickly & hosed the whole area down afterwards - would highly recommend this company

Called due to the company the insurance sent said they couldn’t complete the job. Jason came out 1st class service from the initial telephone call all the way to the end of the jetting job. So grateful highly recommended company and service. Thanks

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Engineer came out to unblock toilet and wasn’t able to unblock due to potential roots, so we booked in follow-up camera survey. Engineer came back a week later and was instructed to invoice for another unblocking service on top of survey, despite the original unblocking attempt not working. In an attempt to try and understand the situation and find a solution, I asked to speak with the manager, Mike. From the outset, Mike seemed very disgruntled that I’d asked to speak to him as I’ve never had the pleasure of speaking to such a rude individual. After shouting at me for a bit down the phone, he told his engineer to pack up and leave. Wonderful customer service and aftercare. Thank you MZR, I will never use you again. *edit / update* - thank you for the constructive reply. I would like to commend your engineers as both lads were friendly, understanding and empathetic of the situation. Unfortunately none of the traits apply to Mike. Mike didn’t even attempt to try and help me understand how we can try and solve our drainage problem. After I questioned why he spoke to me in such a rude manor, he shut the conversation down, asked me to pass the phone to his engineer, who was then instructed to pack up and leave with no explanation whatsoever. Thanks again 👍🏻

Really great service and communication from Donna and Jason in particular

Thank you very much. Speedy response. Immediately realised problem, got tools and in 15 minutes drain cleared. Thoroughly recommend

I had mzr carry out a job for me today, brilliant service and defo would recommend. They was professional, arrived on time and done the job. Thanks to Mark,Mike and Jason for you help 100 percent from all of you. Thanks again

Excellent company, highly recommend. Really sincere, and the drain engineer who came to sort my blocked drains out spent ages till the job was done and even unearthed a buried, 150 year old siphon. Will be using them again, and have saved their number on my phone. It's great to have a local business like this that can be relied upon, and I really hope locals support them as we need companies like this.

Efficient, reliable and quick service. Reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Mike and Ross came round to clear my blocked drain did a fantastic job and found that l have collapsed drain and they would come and fix my drain for me first class workmanship alround would recommend this firm to anyone so so good and they cleared u after themselves absolutely brilliant firm Mike and Ross thank you for first class job and friendly service alround BRILLIANT

I had a terrible flood due to the my drains being blocked. The drains were completely full of weeds and soil. This company are amazing they worked non stop and completely cleared out all the drains they went above and beyond Thank you so much I would highly recommend MZR

If I could give 10 stars I would. I arranged for a CCTV survey to check drains running under our extension, as water board plans indicated. Paul came out and checked the man holes and confirmed the location and direction of the drains which meant there was no need for the CCTV survey so I wasn't charged for it. Absolutely excellent customer service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Natalie is rude and lacks customer service skills AVOID

Jordan and Max were professional and very helpful.

Very efficient! Arrived on time, sorted problem, paid, gone....just what was needed! Thank you.

Saved us from a swamped house, blocked drain and toilet, world class

Max and Jordan attended the property and resolved the blockage in a timely manner, also provided some valuable advise too. Reasonable and transparent fee structure

Jordan attended to the problem with myour kitchen gUlley drain poliitely and efficiently. Also very punctual. dealt with professionally Tony Hannigan 24/07/23

Needed a urgent CCTV survey completed as part of a build over agreement with Severn Trent Water. Having rang many other drainage companies decided to go with MZR having read reviews online. Was in contact with Michael who was great and very informative and got me a date sorted asap. Paul came out to complete the survey itself- I wasn't present on the day of the survey but Paul was brilliant in keeping me updated. The guys at the office (sorry didn't get names) were also brilliant in keeping me updated and having called Thursday, they came out Friday and it's now Tuesday and I'm glad to say STW have just issued their provisional build over agreement! This would not have been possible if it wasn't for the quick response by MZR. Where all others were saying id be looking at at least a week for survey to take place and another week for the report- Michael and his team managed to sort this in a matter of days!! The report provided by MZR was very precise, and clear and there's no doubt this aided in my application being sorted so quickly. STW were very open with me in saying make sure whoever I choose to do the CCTV survey- they ensure they are compliant and include all the required information. I will be booking MZR again for the required post build survey but it's reassuring to know I'll be dealing with a professional company. Value for money- again came out in top of all other quotes. 👌🏽 This could have been a far more stressful situation and I was planning for such, but MZR's prompt and professional approach meant this got sorted very quickly. Thanks again and 5*'s all round! Will be in touch soon. Mak

Very efficient service. Required a one-way rat valve in the sewer, found MZR on Google, sent a message through their website, received an email back very quickly with a price and a couple of access questions. Once the part was in, they contacted me for an installation date and it got fitted quickly and without any hassle. Brilliant service and highly recommended.

Ross and Jordan did an excellent job

Extremely pleased with the work Jordan carried out at my property. He persisted and found the blockage in my drain. He solved the problem where another company failed. Could not be happier with MZR and Jordan. Fantastic job, reasonable price. I would not hesitate in using again. Steve Jones Tamworth.

Both drains was blocked and overflowing Jordan came and inspected and jetted the drains both drains instantly cleared professional job

Solved my smelly drain problem quickly and effectively- it was a fat build up in the waste pipe under my kitchen. Call out cost is surprisingly low, I highly recommend this company

Ross was great, very professional and helpful, put my mind at ease with his knowledge of the problem, would definitely recommend and use again.

Great service

Awful service wouldn’t recommend

I recently had the pleasure with four drainage engineers, named Ross, Justin, Paul, and Max, who conducted a survey and provided exceptional assistance with resolving the drainage issues in my garden. Their expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly commendable throughout the entire process. From the moment they arrived, it was evident that Ross and Justin were knowledgeable and experienced in their field. They quickly assessed the situation, carefully listened to my concerns, and asked relevant questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the problem. Their ability to communicate effectively ensured that I felt involved and understood the proposed solutions. The team conducted a thorough survey, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques to identify the root causes of the drainage issues. Ross, Justin, Paul, and Max meticulously examined the entire garden, inspecting drains, pipes, and water flow patterns. Their comprehensive approach allowed them to uncover hidden problems that could have led to future complications. Once the survey was completed, the team provided a detailed report that outlined the findings, along with a comprehensive plan to address the drainage issues. They took great care to minimize disruption to my garden and property, leaving the work area tidy and clean at the end of each day. One aspect that stood out about this team was their professionalism and exceptional customer service. They were respectful, courteous, and always willing to answer any questions I had. Their transparency and commitment to delivering a high-quality solution were truly appreciated. I highly recommend Ross, Justin, Paul and Max. Thank-you for your time and effort, it’s truly appreciated. - The Khans Family.

Great quick service however still awaiting a report to be emailed

5 year guarantee, failed after less than 3, CCTV from other company showed how poor (the word comical was used) the MZR attempt at a repair was, as per expectations, utter waste of time getting them back out, but had to try, quell supris' they CCTV'd it and cleared themselves of any wrongdoing, saying their repair hasn't failed - never mind, a real company has attended, fixed the new fault and put right the MZR "repair", even showed me the loose, flapping and totally UNCONNECTED TO PIPEWORK (!!) patch repair - all this for less than half the price MZR stole of us less than3 years ago

Experience blocked external drains for weeks so decided to call in the professionals. MZR responded quickly and their engineer Jason came out and sorted the problem with no fuss. Friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Great work

Great service.

Blocked sink three people had tried but these men sorted it immediately

Fantastic company. So helpful and very reasonably priced. Would 💯 recommend

Paul was amazing unblocked my drain went over and beyond his duty

Have used this company twice in 6 weeks due to blocked drain. Fantastic service, response and delivery of service impeccable. Advice given on both occasions. Friendly and outstanding service. Would highly recommend! Will be using again should I have any problems. Particular thanks to Jason.

Fantastic service on Xmas Eve!!! Called at midday and they were out within 2 hours. Jason was a brilliant guy who had it all cleared within 30 mins. Price was also very reasonable. Thank you Jason and the rest of the MZR team ...... Xmas is back on!!!!

Had an emergency on a Sunday morning, blocked waste pipe and the only toilet in the house with a young family. Not only did they actually answer the phone, but booked us in and then arrived hours earlier than expected. Superb service. The drain was unblocked and the staff member was friendly and professional. Would absolutely recommend if an emergency and noone can help.

Excellent service, reasonable quote.

Brilliant service, phoned them at 11am and they were here by 1:30pm. Professionally cleared the drain expertly in no time for a very reasonable amount of money - highly recommended!

Recommended by a local heating engineer. Came next day, but offered to come same day. The problem was diagnosed immediately as an air admittance valve being faulty. MZR didn't charge for the callout and recommended that I replace the pushfit part myself. I am very impressed by MZR and recommended them highly.

Excellent and efficient service . Guys that came were very courteous and polite...worked quickly and kept everything clean. Sorted the problem within half an hour and I paid what I was quoted which was excellent value 👍 Would definitely recommend them and will use again .

Pretty quick turnaround, very friendly service

Fast responce. Come on agreed time. Fixed price. 10 out of 10.

Michael went above and beyond during his visit. To begin, Michael removed a blockage from my downstairs toilet to the main pipeline. He immediately knew the issue and resolved it swiftly. Michael had additional concerns and went on to investigate if there was another blockage further down the Severn Trent line . He spoke to my neighbours courteously and lifted 5 man hole covers in total. As he suspected there was an issue several houses down from me. Again, he knew just what to do and did all of us on Hay Lane a great favour in addressing the issue. Highly recommended; a wealth of knowledge; polite and hard working; well priced.

Excellent service from the start from Ross and Mark. Had a blocked drain the investigate fully and didn't leave until they made sure it was clear. They've recommended a survey as persistent roots appear to be the issue and have advised me of the whole process. Excellent job fully recommend, first class service.

Fantastic service- I had blocked drains and a completely backed up toilet - it was a bit grim to say the least! Within 1 hour they came out and resolved the issue very quickly! Quick, professional, friendly and just got the job done and a great price. 5* would recommend

Amazing job from Michael, top guy! despite the difficult plumbing work he was able to explain everything in detail and work through the difficulties, everything sorted! highly recommended, will deffo contact again if needed!

Toilet stack blocked, no other toilet in the house, Paul and Ross from MZR came round with a couple of hours. Brilliant and friendly service, toilet working. Following a survey it's clear more work required and I know who I'll be asking to do it. Thanks again Paul and Ross and MZR- highly recommended Tom

Excellent fast service. Highly recommend these guys!

I hadn’t used them before so wasn’t sure what to expect as I was waiting during the booked time-slot. The cost was very competitive and they did the job in a short time. Would use this company again.

Absolutely first class service from Mike at MZR drains. I would 100% recommend his services. He came out very promptly to a nasty job and got on with it there and then. Price was very reasonable for the work he did, he was quick, clean and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending his services. Thank you for such a good job!

Excellent service. Cleared my blocked drains within 15 minutes. I cant thank MZR more enough.

We had a blocked drainage. Called them and arranged to come same afternoon. Once in it took them 30min to clear it all up. Well impressed.

Wicked service, came within the hour and sorted the blockage aswell. Servern trent attempted it and couldn't do it (even though it was there issue to resolve) but MZR Drainage had done it like a pro. Definitely would recommend them best in the business.

Great company great service. From making the call , within the hour Sam arrived and started to work on the drain. He fixed the problem with no fuss ,very pleased with the service . I would highly recommend this company fixed rate and no hassle. Thanks guys👍👍👍

Very impressed with Jason who has done a fantastic job in clearing the blocked drain. Located blockage and didn’t leave until job was done and cleaned site throughly, would definitely recommend MZR Drains.

As much of a positive experience as you could possibly hope for when faced with the prospect of tree roots blocking the toilet drains! From an initial short term fix and quotation, to completing a more major repair at the company I work at; MZR were friendly, professional and communicative throughout the process. Jason, the engineer that completed the repair, was on his own due to people isolating with covid but he still managed to get the repair done in full in one day. Really impressed but hopefully won't be needing MZR's services again any time soon!

Phoned this company today for a blocked drain, based on the good reviews it has. Was given a price over the phone and a 5 hour timeslot for when someone would arrive. They phoned me when they were 2 minutes away, turned up in 2 mins, very polite, got straight to work, no messing about, no trying to sell you stuff you don't need, sorted the blockage out and cleaned the drive too. Brilliant work - will not hesitate to contact you again, and will pass your number onto anyone who ever needs it. Thank you!

Blocked kitchen sink on Christmas Eve...who you gonna call...🤔 MZR...excellent service , lovely young man Jason who came out and sorted problem promptly....polite and courteous and even cleaned my plunger . Mike and your amazing team...thank you. Have a great Christmas!

We 100% recommend this company!! They have basically saved our Xmas!! After being let down by other companies, Michael & Jason went above & beyond to help us with a very difficult problem. They are a dedicated, reliable & trustworthy team, myself & my tennant cannot Thank them enough!

A thoroughly proffesional company that kept us updated at ever point of the process. I would highly reccomend them.

Contacted MZR with regard to a problem toilet. Very helpful when answering the phone, and arranged a convenient time to visit. Technician contacted us 20 mins before arrival and turned up on time. Sorted the problem very quickly and efficiently. Bill was very reasonable and less than it could have been. Nice people - good to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Fantastic service and professional from booking the appointment to completing the job . Had a blocked sewer drain and Jason an engineer , attended . He was polite , courteous ,friendly, knowledgeable and really professional throughout . Very reasonably priced at £80 to complete the whole job . I would recommend this company to any who has issues with blocked sewage drains .Superb !

Quick efficient service friendly explained all and fully cleaned up after themselves would definitely recommend

Had a call out this morning. Excellent service. Customer journey from initial call to works being complete was fast and very professional. The engineer very polite. Knowledge and fast. I highly recommend this company , if you have a drainage emergency.

Great service, sorted the problem no issues. Would highly recommend to any in Birmingham area.

very neat and tidy thank you for respecting the home and wearing shoe cover. Also, very speedy job would recommend again

Really bad service i call them they charged me for nothing. Just tell me this not there job call someone else. Not recommend at all.

Absolutely brilliant service! Super friendly and helpful on the phone, no hidden costs and true expert advice. Sent someone within an hour who solved the problem that 2 other companies could not solve - and charged half the price! Will be definitely recommending to friends & family and should be top of your list when it comes to drainage services.

"MZR Drainage" What can I say? These guys are 100% Professionals, Knowledgable and Efficient in there work. I used them for a CCTV survey and can't praise them enough for the 1st Class service they provided. Mike attended, initially, and advised me on what the process involves and how they can accommodate. Jason M very confidently conducted the Survey. If you require any Drainage related services and are not using MZR, you are definitely missing out 101%. I will be using MZR again once my extension work has been completed. Very Highly Recommended.

responded very quickly and professionally. sorted out a problem in an hour that Severn Trent had twice been out to. Would recommend without hesitation.

Excellent customer service, were flexible and accomodating in fast turnaround. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Jason was very professional and did a superb job. Thanks Mike.

Excellent and professional service. Mike came out to do a drain survey. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. The report was done quickly. I can't fault the service. The recommended repair works is also fair and honest. I would highly recommend you use MZR drains over others.

They arrived within the time slot we were given. Jason was very professional and quickly found and resolved the problem. They were reasonably priced and feel we got value for money. I will recommend them to our friends and family

Excellent service from start to finish great customer service very friendly and i would highly recommend these guys for any future work . Thanks Mandy price

Excellent service, sorted within 20 mins, friendly worker, highly recommended. Thank you. *edit the drainage due to damage to the pipes from tree roots were causing issues so we called MZR and they were amazing from start to finish. Highly recommended. Mark was here for 2 days as quoted in the pouring rain and he was a most polite, professional and hard working person. He even stopped traffic on the main road for me to get out as i was in a rush. Excellent company, amazing staff Highly recommend them

We required our business drains checked as our local water board had previous issues with local sewers. Within 15 minutes had checked all manholes and jetted areas of concern and we were back working. Excellent service will be adding to our list of callout numbers. Unlike certain large companies turn out when they say and don't charge excessive if a business.

Had an amazing service today from Jason M at MZR. I got a quote within 10 minutes and engineer was onsite within the hour. Job was a lot bigger than originally thought but was no extra charge. Thank you for your swift resolution and Jason was brilliant.

I called MZR for what I thought was a simple kitchen drain unblocking. It turned out to be a lot more work than that, which was all completed without extra charge. They really went above and beyond to fix my blockage, and I would not hesitate to use them again. This was my most positive experience with a tradesman I have ever had.

MZR came out and cleared my mom drain. Done an excellent job and left the place clean and tidy. I would recommend MZR to anyone.

After being let down by another company I rang MZR who were professional from the off. I was quoted a fixed price to sort an outside kitchen drain which was blocked. The price included jetting if required. A couple of hours later Jason rang to say he was on the way. He arrived and got to work straight away. Within half an hour the problem was fixed and he'd cleaned up as well. I highly recommend MZR, great service. Thank you very much.

outstanding service came out within an hour and half sorted problem within the hour great price very polite and clean service

Problem with sewage and sepctic tank blocked. Arrived on time. Lovely chap very helpful knew exactly what to do and fixed problem within 20 mins. Great service and would highly recommend to anyone.

Great service all round. Mike came to survey the job shortly after being contacted and reassured us that he could solve our problem. Quote was really reasonable. Mark arrived on time each day and was really friendly throughout the job, despite encountering a few obstacles, as were the additional two workmen who helped. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Great service from Jason R. He arrived promptly with a really good positive attitude and solved the issue with our drains. Thanks Jason.

Mike and his team have always done a great job for me on some of my properties and renovations. Always on time and no job is to small or to big for them I would highly recommend them to anyone

Rude man comes out ,cuts phone off as they put the wrong postcode on my cctv survey and the guy cuts phone off.DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT ENDLESS HEADACHES

These guys are amazing , first chap came out to me and advised that the drainage system was not built with the correct pitch and no hole was made for access from outside, however Mike the gaffa came out to me on Saturday to install this hole and told me not to worry as they will sort for me. They Fixed the problem and were gone within the hour !!!!!. Would absolutely recommend to anyone :-)

So efficient and understanding as I was genuinely worried what they might find. From the initial call to the visit, which was all within the hour. The price quoted was what was charged. The workman was very thorough and kept us informed and made sure the blockage was completely cleared. Also very polite and friendly. I hope I don't have to, but would have this company back at any time and would most certainly recommend to anyone

After searching online I made my choice and called MZR this Sunday morning unable to cope with my blocked drain any longer. So glad I did as what a fabulous service. Came within the hour, quickly found the problem, which was worse than we expected, and it's now sorted. All at a VERY reasonable price and a very nice chap called Jason is a credit to the company. We can't thank you enough.

Can not describe how happy i am with the service. Very professional and friendly. A blocked drain is always a stressful situation especially a day after moving into a new house. Called up MZR and they got someone to me asap between the time slot they had told said. Had a gentleman come down spent about 45 minutes but was unabale to unblock it he then called and got someone else to come down the next day ( he did not charge for it ) the next morning had another 2 gentlemans come and they used a camera to inspect and then a high power jet wash cleared the problem out all for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend! Thanks allot guys👍🏼

Called MZR to deal with my blocked drain in Kings Heath. Arrived on time and dealt with the blockage within 30 minutes. Clean, efficient and friendly service. Highly recomend!

Excellent service cctv drainage inspection, telephone call, booked couple of days after, completed on the Friday, report provided on Monday by Jason now going extra mile to help me with the complicated ST application form queries I have to build over sewer. Thank you, good professional service a rarity nowadays. Well done to your team! Highly recommend !

Excellent customer service and positive attitude, don't normally write reviews but MZR are certainly worthy.

Called in at short notice. Arrived a bit later than hoped but the service was very good and very helpfull. The guy added a video inpection for free and gave me very useful advice.

Friendly, professional and very fast service. The work was completed to a very high standard and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Called MZR on Thursday for advice on CCTV drains report - they gave me some helpful advice and booked the CCTV report for Monday afternoon. They guy that came was friendly, courteous and very efficient. They sent the report to me the next morning, much earlier than expected. Very pleased, thank you!

Stay away! Rude and a Con Called out on Bank Holiday (extra charges applied) it was fine as I wanted the job done! Just over a month later drains blocked again! Called to be told your out of your 30 days guarantee! If the job was done right first time it wouldnt have got blocked. A waste of £179! If could have given a zero rating I sure would have!

I called and asked for my drain to be unblocked, at a specific time, later that day. MZR came out at the time I requested and dealt with the blockage quickly. They even gave me some advice about how to prevent future blockages.

I've used this company twice now and each time their service has been fantastic. Both Mike and Aaron were very friendly and professional and got the jobs done with minimal disturbance. Also price was reasonable both times. Highly recommended.

Not even worthy of 1 star but could not post review without it. Absolute Rubbish, attended late! and on top of the excuses, provided an appalling service, making the problem of blocked soil stack worse and left a leaking toilet as a result of the work done. Said would return the next day to camera survey and to complete the work as didn't have enough manpower available on the day, then they just didn't turn up. not even a call. Don't bother with them.

Appointment was for 2:30pm plumber turned up at 6:15pm but blockage was cleared by then and was still charged £84 for 5mins They are after your money but poor customer service.

Had problem with blocked drain..Mzr came and cleared it. Very tidy reliable service... Highly recommended

We recently used MZR for a new boiler installation , the owner Mike came and spoke to us to review our requirement and suggested what would be best for us and informed us on the economy of the product , having agreed on a boiler Mike came the week after and fitted it , the installation was done in a day and the whole experience was seamless and completed with no fuss , Mike is what i would call an honest down to earth professional , he is 100% trustworthy and his overall knowledge and workmanship are second to none, we have since used Mikes services for a number of other jobs and each time he has been faultless. I would recommend him to anyone .

Couldn't fault the work carried out by MZR. Very professional and friendly service

Absolutely brilliant service price was spot-on no hidden charges very friendly lads will definitely use again

Top notch service. Never to much trouble to help out. Even if it's just advice. Happy to use again. Keep it up son. First class.

Absolutely excellent service. Polite and friendly. Been burned by so many cowboys in this industry before and it's refreshing to finally get an honest firm that doesn't rip you off. First class service highly recommended. Thanks again for sorting my boiler out.

Great service, great price, great company. I simply searched for Blocked Drain in Birmingham and these guys were on the list. Not sure why but something drew me to choosing MZR and I can honestly say that I am glad I did. I called at 16:00 and they were with me by 17:00. It was not an emergency so I didn't ask them to rush and they still arrived within the hour. Polite and friendly with non of that 'ooh that's going to cost you!' nonsense. Had a good look at the problem which was not as straight forward as I thought it was going to be. Still without much of a fuss, my drains were unblocked and the place was left nice and tidy to boot! The price was very reasonable and with no hidden extras, the price was the price. Overall I am very happy with the work MZR have done for me and I would gladly recommend them. From now on, if I have any drainage/plumbing problems, I will be contacting MZR and hope this helps.

Half a job, this company is judt after your money. Wished I didn't use them

We use Mike all the time! Very professional and outstanding work! I would highly recommend to everyone. From Reactive Insurance Solutions

MZR did an excellent job digging up our patio and repairing a cracked soil pipe. The guy they sent round was professional and approachable, he worked hard and quickly found (and rectified) the fault. Then he did an excellent job of re-laying the patio blockwork afterwards. I'd highly recommend their service.

Very professional company and very good at what they do, prices are also great too would higly recommend them to anyone

Absolutely dire customer service. Recommended through a friend, we decided to hire MZR Plumbing to deal with our boiler that has broken down leaving us without hot water. He failed to turn up to our first appointment, which my partner specifically booked off from work, and apologised and assured us he would be out. He finally did turn up and informed us of the errors and the prices. He said he'd need to order the parts and then be back out to install them. Another booked appointment, another missed appointment by MZR. By now our patience was wearing thin. We left messages, emails and tried to call throughout the day despite having a morning booking - and received no word. It wasn't until later that we realised he had -blocked- our personal numbers after dialling from a friend's phone and getting through without issue. After much chasing, we finally receive a one line email stating he will not be doing the job. Absolutely unprofessional to leave people waiting without any word. No cancelling phone call, nothing. He left us in silence just waiting to hear back from him. Shocked with the service from start to (a silent) finish. Seriously, recommend avoiding this lot unless you're happy being left in the dark.

I found MZR via Google, I urgently needed someone to look into a horrible smell coming from the sink and bath. We tried all kinds of things but MZR came out straight away and unblocked our drain as well as adding an extra bit of pipe to help the chance of a smell coming back. MZR are very good and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone else.
