Vasilli if ideal plumbing did an excellent job of finding and fixing a leak in the shower room. Not thing was to much trouble and he applied various solutions to fix 2 separate leaks in the same shower. He worked consistently until such time the leak was fully fixed and undertook thorough testing. I am very pleased indeed with his work and its results and would certainly engage him again for any plumbing work. Thanks. 👍👍👍👍👍

We have hired Billy to support the installation of a high-class pumped shower (Aqualisa Quartz), as part of our bathroom renovations. Called Ideal Plumbing services had no hot water they came with in two hours . They asked for a photo of my boiler which I sent and with in 45 minutes of arriving the problem was solved . Billy rescued our kitchen from a triple blockage of outlets from washing machine, main sink and rinse sink. He well deserves the 5 star rating for the promptness of his response, the immediacy of the remedial process he embarked on, flushing the labyrinth of twisted pipes of the massive amount of grunge which we had no idea was lurking there - till it blocked! A thorough and meticulous expert on central heating, boilers and plumbing in general in our experience of him.

He was able to pop over to the property and check the area where the unit is to be installed and 2 days later to connect. Initially, I requested an estimate for replacement of my bath with a shower cubicle. I was unsure when I could book an appointment so Billy said he would contact me the following week. Billy duly contacted me as agreed. He appraised my situation and helpfully made me consider what was the best decision looking forward. Also, he noticed a defective pipe connection allowing water to drain from the hand basin. I had an estimate for the job the following day. It was very reasonable. My decision was to not proceed with the original idea. Instead maybe an upgrade in the future. Billy offered to fix the hand basin problem anyway. He and his brother came the next day. What an efficient professional and excellent company. I was desperate this morning as I had a leak from my central heating pipes onto a brand new carpet. I called them at 8.30am and they were there by 9.30am. All fixed and done within the hour.

Quick, friendly response. I contacted Vasilakis during the cold snap in March and although he was clearly very busy, he was able to attend to our leaky living room radiator first thing the next day. The rad needed to be replaced and he sourced a new radiator immediately and fitted it, taking the old one away for disposal. Very happy with the service!

Billy has impressed me with his knowledge, reliability and professionalism . He truly enjoys his job . He came one day after I contacted him to assess the job and gave me details of suitable taps to buy and returned the same afternoon to install them . The job took twice as long as anticipated because of blocked UBends but Billy stayed until early evening to ensure the job was satisfactorily completed and didn’t request extra payment . He will be returning soon to replace a leaking radiator and I have already recommended him to friends .

My tap broke late at night and the plumber came out promptly to stop the leak. He came back the next morning and replaced the broken tap. I originally contacted Billy for a kitchen tap replacement, however given the professionalism in which the job was carried out in, I asked Billy back for a quote for a complete bathroom refurbishment. I gave the job to Billy because of his professional approach and suggestions of what would improve the layout. The work was carried out to an extremely high standard (the man is a perfectionist). I have now used Billy several times since he fitted the bathroom and every time the standard of work is faultless. I can’t recommend Billy high enough, we all know how hard it is to get a good, reliable tradesman and Billy is both.

I had a problem with water hammer and Vasilis came out yesterday afternoon. Previously, I had bad experiences with both HomeServe (subject of a complaint), and Jack The Plumber who refused to have anything to with the job without providing any reason. HomeServe just suggested fitting a valve without carrying out any investigation. Vasilis had a very logical approach in trying to initially determine the location of the problem. This eventually involved taking down the panels surrounding the bath which wasn't straightforward. He was extremely patient and was quite prepared to answer any questions. The pipes beneath were secured and when he left the banging had gone. The bath panels were put back without damage and he cleared up any mess. The job took two hours twenty minutes and cost £160. I got the impression that he would have carried on until the job was resolved. At no stage did he suggest fitting a valve. I am quite happy to pay a few pounds extra if that means a quality job. On the basis of this job I would happily use Ideal Plumbing again. Thank you.

I called Billy when my overflow pipe was leaking outside my property. I sent him some pics before he came out and he identified the problem straightaway. He came within a day with the parts that he needed to do the job. He explained what the fault was, what he was doing and got the job done quickly! Was searching for a local plumber and saw the great reviews for Billy. Called him and he was understandably busy with other jobs, agreed for him to visit on Wednesday. He suggested a time which did not suit so stated the evening could work. As I am not always around, I called to find out the likelihood of him visiting that evening he said he is on a job till late and will come back to me. A few hours later, I call to simply check the likelihood of a visit so can make alternative plans if not. Was surprised to hear him shouting "stop calling ..I am not cheap, there are loads of other plumbers out there". I politely ended the call...as the little one was in the background who overheard. This is what I ended up doing, finding another plumber. Not anything to do with price (we did not even get to a quote stage) but because of the service on the phone on that evening, he might have been stressed with workload but being professional does not hurt. Hopefully this was an isolated instance on poor customer service...considering his previous reviews have been great.

This man is amazing. I had an issue with my Gledhill Water Cylinder and within minutes he found the problem. He ordered the new part and came to fit it yesterday. He spent 3 or more hours at my property realising there was another issue. Through his investigations he found out it was the thermostatic mixer on my shower. This was absolutely above and beyond and in no way a means of looking for more work. My dad has worked in the water industry all his adult life and came to my property to make sure what I was being told was correct. My dad has extremely high standards and has now asked for a quote to carry out the transformation of their bathroom. Great work, well done. Thank you.

I had a leak from the bathroom radiator that had cause a lot of water damage on our ceiling. I initially contacted a plumber company which after changing my appointment last minute did not show. I contacted Billy and he was able to attend and access the situation. As it was late I decided to rearrange an appointment for the next day. Billy was punctual and performed an excellent job.
