I found Dave through a quick google search, he was quick to pop over for a quote and found the time to plaster our lounge within about a week. Our walls were in a poor condition after taking off some panelling and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. He was very professional, tidy, advised us well and reasonably priced.
When you live in a Victorian conversion you dread any small job because it can turn into a large mess and even bigger bill. David came at short notice with a very reasonable quote - sorted out the bigger problem - fixed the cracked ceiling with a new board and skimmed over the lot - excellent job - and cleared up beautifully - would recommend to anyone.
We had Dave plaster our living room and downstairs WC. He did an excellent job. Arrived when he said he would, completed the job to perfection and to top it off he's a really nice guy!

Dave recently skimmed our hallway and landing ceilings, as well as plastering our chimney/fire surround, and did a brilliant job - he was thorough but efficient. Dave did the job for us with reasonably short notice but was flexible, communicative and did everything he committed. Super reliable and a lovely guy - I would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends.
Very good plasterer. I had a different plasterer previously on another part of the house and he wasn't great so I was worried about trying platinum plastering but I shouldn't have been worried. The hallway stairs and landing was skimmed perfectly in about 1.5/2 days. There were a couple of problems with my existing landing ceiling but Dave sorted it in one morning by putting new plasterboard up and skimming. The price was reasonable and he kept the work area very clean and tidy. Dave put down plastic all over the carpets but to be honest the plastering was so clean and tidy the carpet probably would have been ok it was that good. The walls are very smooth and well worth the money. Most polite and down to earth tradesman we've ever had Thank you.

Just started on the house that Dave had finished plastering and as a decorator I couldn’t be more happier,all ceilings and walls trailed and polished off to a very good finish. Timed served and quality plasterer.
Dave helped with a last minute request as another plasterer fell through. He was super helpful by working on Sunday to get my kitchen ready in time for installation. He explained everything clearly so I understood all the works he would need to repair a wall which other quotes failed to do. Will be using his service again

Dave completed a fantastic refurb of my mother’s kitchen in Purley. It was a complex job as we had artex that needed removing and a fallen down ceiling that needed reboarding and plastering. Dave completed on time and on budget despite a number of challenges experienced including a hidden fireplace mantle and exposed live wires that all needed to be addressed. I would highly recommend Dave’s services and will be using him again.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! We had absolutely no idea who to go with when we needed our whole downstairs plastered and when we found Platinum Plastering we couldn’t have been happier. Dave from Platinum Plastering Coulsdon popped over almost straight away to have a look at what we needed and had such a reasonable rate we decided to go ahead and have never looked back! Since the downstairs Dave has also done three upstairs bedrooms, the hallway and right up the stairs - I have recommended them to several friends who are also thrilled with the work. Not only was Dave clean and tidy, he was a pleasure to have in the house whilst I was working from home and also I had no qualms with leaving Dave there to work if I needed to be out of the house. Our two dogs were particularly fond of him and he was fantastic at letting them in and out etc. the workmanship was outstanding and Dave really did help us transform our home on some very tight deadlines! If you need a plasterer this is the company for you!
