Came in with a snapped key and he sorted me out pretty much immediately, thought I’d have to pay for a new lock but this company worked some magic and got me a key cut out of the broken piece. Would 100% recommend to anyone who needs a locksmith. Brilliant customer service.

Had some roof bars stuck on my car due to a thief stealing the keys - Bob had them off in no time with an extremely professional and incredible value service. He even made a new key for me out of one of the barrel locks. Highly recommend this place!

John came out really promptly for a non-emergency job. It was an incredibly awkward task - cracking open a locked loft hatch on a 12ft high ceiling - but John got on with it and after 30 minutes of effort we were in. He also adjusted both my front and rear uPVC doors which were being a pain to close, and supplied and fitted new locks. Great value for money, thanks for the help!

Amazing service BUT only minor fault it wasn’t clear that it was cash only. They turned up bang on time and completed my long change within 15 minutes. I didn’t have the cash as I wasn’t aware it was cash only so I had to go to local cash machine, this should’ve been made clear on booking. However it hasn’t effected my overall rating as I was so impressed with the service and still award 5 stars and would use again

John turned up very quickly, fixed my issue, and even advised on options to resolve the problem myself if it happened again (as it is an old door and I am trying to avoid a completely new lock mechanism). A reasonable price for such a quick, efficient and friendly service. Will for sure use them again.

Very polite locksmith but extremely expensive, £250 for replacing a PVC door handle, I would expect those rates for an emergency call out not a typical day-to-day.

Super friendly and thorough service. We were having issues with a uPVC door expanding in the heat and we weren’t able to close it. Before getting a new door we tried Arc and the guy was brilliant, he tried a bunch of different tools on the door and fixed our issue!

I went to Arc with what I thought was a broken exterior door lock that needed replacing and came out with the same lock working perfectly. Bob explained why the lock "broke" the night before (we had to call out an emergency locksmith to gain entry into the house) and how to easily fix it if it "broke" again. All free of charge. Excellent service from Bob and his colleague - polite, friendly and very helpful. I can't rate Arc highly enough.

Needed my bedroom windows unlocking as i'd never had a key since moving in and they were locked so i couldn't open them. ARC told me a key would need to be made and i would need to bring the handle in to have one made, if not someone would need to come out to sort it for £100 callout. The whole point of the problem was that i couldn't open the windows in the first place as i didn't have a key to unlock them so i couldn't open the window and unscrew the handle. So ok fine i pay £100 for someone to come round. When they get here they tell me that in fact a key DOESN'T need to be made, in fact they have the required keys for sale ON THE RACK in their shop for about £3.50 each! And ARC Locksmiths is just a quick drive round the corner from my house. The guy who came round was most helpful and apologetic but the person i first talked to neglected to tell me they had ready made keys in the shop which meant i ended up paying £107 instead of being told i could pop round the corner into their store and buy a couple of keys off the shelf for £7. Thanks a lot ARC! - In response to your reply - thats nonsense. I didn't have a key for my window that was the whole point so i couldn't have brought it in. You didn't tell me on email that i could just come in and buy a key off the shelf that would work you said i would have to have one made. The guy who came round told me as much went back to the store, got a key off the shelf that worked fine and apologised so no what you've said is nonsense. You should've told me on email that i could come to the store and buy a key off the shelf simple as that.

If you looking to get your key copied then this place is 1000% for you. Don't waste your time and money going anywhere else. Tried to copy my key 3 times in Timsons and they failed every time, decided to give this place a chance and just like that first time worked. Great customer service, great price, couldn't be more happy. 10 stars really.

Feb 2018 - Just moved into my new house. Just had my locks done and very happy. On time, quick and neat. Wish I remembered his name. He was a nice fella. Highly recommended Google only allows to edit an old Review- this is an new review for Oct 2022- John came to fit Sash Jammers to my back and front door. He was very honest as my back door has a higher grade lock so sash jammers not really needed but front door low grade lock so fitted onto the front door. He did a very neat job. Very friendly and professional. Recommend them all day long

I have never felt 100% safe as when we closed our UPVC door you had to make sure you used a key to lock it. I contacted ARC on Saturday 13/02 for a quote and later that day Robert called round to look at the lock. The quote was sent to me and I agreed to go ahead and gave dates of my hospital appointments. A key snapped in the lock at my Mum's house meaning she was unable to relock the door. The team at ARC Locksmiths were really friendly and were able to get someone out at short notice to replace the lock. The operative was really friendly and sorted everything out. Hopefully won't have any lock issues for a while but would definitely recommend.

Recently had Arc change the locks on my new house. However, I've been using them for the past 2 years to get keys cut for my work. It is extremely rare you will get a key cut, that isn't correct. They're extremely dependable and are priced at a reasonable cost, especially when you compare them to other large locksmith companies. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.

Steven came out to fix my lock at 4am after an attempted break in. Despite it being first thing in the morning, he was speedy, friendly and talkative. He was able to calm me down despite the situation and fitted in a temporary lock so I could go back to bed, before returning a few hours later with a high security lock as I requested. Explained and shown the lock to me and went in to great detail, assuring me there's next to no chance of potential thieves being able to tamper with this new lock. Would highly recommend.

Amazing company and so helpful! I urgently needed my locks changed due to lodger issues and Stephen came out within 30 minutes, waited with me after I had to call the police to diffuse the situation and was just the friendliest and lovliest guy ever. I wanted to give a tip but he wouldn’t accept it but I just want to say he’s a credit to the company. The call out charges were more than reasonable compared to some other locksmiths I tried and he did the work quickly and efficiently. I’ve used them now to do my front doors and my internal doors and I’m always left happy. Great company and would definitely recommend!

Lock on uPVC front door was becoming temperamental. Called ARC Locksmiths and they were helpful on the phone and gave a good idea of likely cost to fix. Arranged a call and Trevor arrived promptly. He checked the lock and explained it needed a new barrel and fitted it for me. Lock now working well - more secure than before. Trevor is a great guy and the cost was very fair. Just like to give a big thank you to Arclocksmiths in Burnage. I needed a key for a mortice lock and was told by another well know locksmiths that, since there wasn't one to copy, it would be cheaper to buy a new lock. Wrong! I took the lock to Arclocksmiths where Bob made me two new keys in about 15 minutes for £15. A new lock would have been £25. Result!

We had an emergency issue with locks at home. Bob responded immediately and had Trevor repair and replace the locks where necessary. I cannot praise the service from Arc Locksmiths highly enough. Their service and speed was fantastic. I wouldnt hesitate to use Arc again and would recommend the highly.
