After losing my keys I had been in a slight panic. Calling local tradesman I gathered a few quotes where I found majority of them were asking for almost double what steve had and furthermore were unavailable to help me today. Auto Locksmith's made me feel as if i wasn't a huge pain in the arse calling on a Sunday and were very willing to help me. Communication with them was fantastic and it's nice to see within the business that these guys are willing to help without ripping people off.
I was down in Bournemouth for the weekend when I lost my keys. I called up handy auto lock, they sent out a guy called Matt who helped me get back in my car. Matt was a lovely lad, and I was very impressed he managed to get me into my car without my keys! They also cut me a key! 10/10 would recommend👍🏼

I paid £170 for a replacement car key after my keys were stolen. Unfortunately, the car was stolen only a few hours later by the person who had taken the original keys and it has since been written off as the person crashed it. At no point when the key was cut was I told that the original stolen key might still work or that there was no guarantee the vehicle would be secure. When I phoned afterwards to discuss the situation, I was told “in hindsight I should have said there was no guarantee.” This warning was never given to me at the time. I found the response defensive and unhelpful when I was already dealing with a very stressful situation. Given the circumstances and the cost involved, I’m very disappointed with both the lack of clear advice and the customer service. My needs were not met, I feel misled and I paid in good faith for something that didn’t work! Not happy!

Steve is an absolute legend. Came to my home address the next day & cut me a key. A few weeks later I had a problem with the key and couldn't start my car whilst stuck in a camera controlled carpark. I was located 35 miles away and yet he left immediately and arrived very quickly, was extremely friendly and managed to get me back into my car within 10 minutes. Can honestly say I've never been shouted at whilst making an enquiry. Slightly misunderstood the explanation given as I did not understand the process and was literally shouted at for 'not listening'. Would rather buy a new car then give this man business.

My Renault Megane keycard went totally kaput and I was at a loss after phoning so many people. Called these guys who came out on Saturday morning and programmed a temporary replacement (as didn't have the right card), ordered a new card for me and came back to reprogramme the new card when it arrived. What an amazing service I broke my key in the door lock and Steve saved the day. Due to the age of my vehicle it was not an easy process, I think anyone else would have given up, charged me for the call-out and been on their way… but not Steve.. he spent at least a couple of hours exhausting all options until he found a solution. I was then expecting a really hefty bill, but no, I was charged only a little extra on what he quoted over the phone even though the job took a lot longer than expected. I contacted numerous locksmiths to replace my lost car keys. Due to make/model, they explained it was a more complex job and were unable to help me with the equipment they had. I was given Auto Locksmiths contact info & spoke to Steve. He was knowledgeable, quoted a very reasonable price for the work involved and I now have a replacement key fob (plus a spare!). Highly recommend.

What a fabulous service. After losing my keys in the woods and spending over 4 hours looking, 2 of them with a friend and a metal detector, I called Steve. I wasn't expecting such a swift response. Absolutely amazing - we love Steve! We managed to get stood up by another company that made us wait 4 hours for a prearranged job. In the end we rang Steve on the off chance he would be able to do the job of programming a new key for our car. Despite being fully booked, Steve still came and had us sorted within 20 minutes of arrival. Can’t recommended him enough; amazing customer service and quick response - goes above and beyond for his customers and turned a bad day into a good one! After all we’d gone through price didn’t really matter to us as we just wanted it sorted but we had rang around quite a few other companies in the area and his was the cheapest service. Even earned himself a homemade chocolate cookie! Hopefully we never have this problem again but if we did he’d be the first person we’d call.

The technician was timely and professional. He went the extra mile coming all the way to me as it was getting dark and sorted my problem although others couldn’t or wouldn’t. After managing to lock the keys to my car in the boot I called Auto Locksmith Specialists at 7.10am and they were with me within thirty five minutes. They managed to create a key on site and in order to gain the required access into the boot without causing any damage. My car keys were retrieved and I was back on the road within thirty minutes and all for a reasonable cost.

Helped me today when my key wouldn't start the car, leaving us stranded in the multistory with no way home! Managed to fix my key fob super quick, as something had come loose and meant the anti-theft was triggering (which meant no starting until it was fixed). Was super friendly, came in great time and was a fantastic help for reasonable price! Couldn't thank enough honestly! :D

Fantastic friendly but professional service and I like too that he respected social distancing during this covid pandemic. He was very knowledgeable of the issues I had long before he even got too the job and managed not only to resolve my issues faced but do it at a price alot cheaper than what I'd been quoted before. My job was £110 but I tipped £5 on that as everywhere else was quoting me £175 and above so will gladly use this honest and reliable service if ever I need to again.
