A1 have just completed 2 full bathroom renovations for me - my main bathroom and en-suite, the results are outstanding. The quality of workmanship is exceptional, with every detail finished to an impressively high standard. It’s clear a great deal of care & pride has gone into the work, and the finished spaces look fantastic. From the initial consultation through to completion, the entire experience was smooth & genuinely enjoyable. What really sets A1 apart, though, is their team. Mark, Jane, Rob, Sam, Simon, Stuart, Ryan, Paul, Fred etc are a real credit to the company. A huge thank you!
We were very impressed by the service provided by A1 Bathrooms & Kitchens. The whole process from initial consultation to the completion of our bathroom was seamless, and we felt completely involved, informed & at ease at all stages. When planning our new bathroom, we were confident that Mark understood our design ideas. He helped us pick out beautiful tiles and showed us different options with colours and layouts until we were happy. He fully instilled us with confidence about each stage of the project. As a family of four for whom this is our only bathroom, we were particularly worried about being without a toilet for any period of time but were never made to feel this was going to be a problem (and we were never without a working toilet throughout the work). During the project we were really impressed with each of the tradesmen that worked on it, they were professional, friendly, communicative about each stage, and left everything very clean and tidy at the end of each day - in particular Simon & Stuart - I think it really did make a difference that they all work for A1 and not sub-contracted. When any challenges were uncovered (our house is a little older & quirky, so there were a few things!) they always had a couple of options / solutions, and we were never made to feel like there was something insurmountable or going to come at a cost! We are delighted with the finished bathroom and would happily recommend A1 Bathrooms & Kitchens for anyone considering a new bathroom!
A1 made ordering a splashback for our kitchen a breeze. Fast service and excellent communication throughout. Also very pleased with the splashback, of course. Thanks to Alison, who managed the whole thing!
We were desperately in need of a new shower door and contacted A1 based on their reviews. After a thorough survey by Rob, we realised our shower was in a worse state than we’d realised. A1 were able to meet all our asks including a complete new shower cubicle refit, extractor fan and a bathroom mirror we hadn’t got round to replacing. As it was only a partial bathroom refit, they were able to fit us in quite quickly. The job took four days to complete and every day Sam explained what he had done and what would come next. He was able to answer all my questions and was friendly and respectful at all times. We are thrilled with our new shower. From start to finish A1 really lived up to their reputation and we would happily use them again. A big thank you to the whole team for a great job and for the beautiful flowers!
We wanted to completely re-design our family bathroom. We got a couple of quotes and decided to go with A1. They weren't the cheapest, but we felt that they were far more competent. We weren't disappointed. The re-design involved re-positioning the WC; removing the bath and replacing it with a shower cubicle; new tiling, furniture and all accessories. The whole job took three weeks, which was exactly how long they had told us. We were given a firm price and the only change was because we switched to a different basin tap which fitted better. There were a couple of boxes of tiles left over and they adjusted the final price accordingly, so we felt that they acted very fairly. We are planning to have our en suite re-fitted later this year and we will have no hesitation in getting A1 back to do that.

Last room to be modernised since buying the house a long time ago. After a long time working out what we wanted, we decided to opt for quality and design over price. A1 was our supplier of choice as the design and professionalism shone through. This was also the case when the work was carried out to a very high standard. We are very pleased with the result.
Recently had our dated kitchen replaced by A1. With our recent bad run of trades over the years it was a huge relief to deal with such a friendly and professional organisation. Everything from the design with Alison, to the fitting by Fred and team went perfectly. Any issues or adjustments were sorted quickly and we were kept informed throughout the whole process by Rob. The finished product is amazing, the only reason I have not posted photos is because we haven't finished decorating it yet which takes away from the overall installation! Can't recommend them highly enough, and we will be sure to be contacting them when we do our bathroom in a few years.
We got A1 to upgrade, remodel and install our bathrooms and WC and they did a fabulous job! From the initial planning and guidance, where their experience and expertise guided us so well, to the fantastic team who came to install and bring the plans to life, we were honestly blown away by how good everything has been. We started this process as nervous novices, but feel like we've been taken under their wing and we've ended up with 3 rooms that have made a huge difference to our spaces and the way we live. THANK YOU to Mark, the other Mark, Rob, Simon, Adam, Stu, Sam, the other other Mark, Matt, Paul, Fred, and Jane - You're all AMAZING!

We asked A1 to quote for removing our bath and replacing it with a shower and full enclosure. An excellent job from start to finish. No hesitation in recommending A1 for bathrooms or kitchens
Excellent service and workmanship. We used A1 several years ago and had no hesitation in asking them to carry out the refurbishment of our downstairs cloakroom which even under these challenging times was done as per Mark's quote and within the timescale provided by very good craftsmen all of whom worked within the Covid rules, very pleased.
We had our cloakroom renewed by A1. The whole job was handled professionally and efficiently. The staff were very pleasant and tidy, and we are very pleased with the results.
The work involved retiling the bathroom floor, lining the shower cubicle with solid core laminate, fitting a new shower door (and solving a long-standing leak), remedial work to the toilet cistern. The standard of workmanship was excellent on all fronts. I was kept fully informed about the job (including during lockdown), the site was always kept in a neat and tidy condition, and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure to work with a small company who cared so passionately about customer service and delivering the best possible outcome.
Dealing with A1 was a smooth experience right through from the initial quote to the finished job. The showroom and quotation process was pleasant, with no hard sell, and once we decided to go ahead we were able to choose a mutually convenient start date. Every step of the installation was explained clearly; all workmen were friendly, thorough and punctual, and always took care to clean up each day. There were no deviations from the quotation, aside from a few extras which we requested and were given very reasonable prices on. We are 100% happy with our finished bathroom. Fully recommended.
Had a design visit in July and I’ve still not had anything from this company, except excuse after excuse. If this is the level of customer service when they’re trying to secure your business, I’d hate to think how they look after you once they’ve got your money!!
From start to finish, the level of service and knowledge received from A1 Bathrooms & Kitchens was second to none. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
It leaves a nasty taste in your mouth when the company (A1 Bathrooms) informs you just before they turn up for an estimate that "for your reference" ...projects start at around £8.000 and we could not start work for 6 months. It is so good to know that British industry is doing so well they can throw work out of the window and the sales rep does not need to put any effort into it.
