Had a new boiler installed and was so much cheaper than original quotes from other companies, very friendly and just got on with the job, no fuss and have it serviced every year by him now. Would recommend to anyone. British Gas wanted over £10k to do the boiler, as they would need to contact council, close the road and put scaffolding up as we have an end terrace house next to a side road. Rang Paul and he had access to vehicles with equipment to do the job without the hassle of scaffolding, was around £2k. Cold showers aren't fun, absolute life saver.

Paul has serviced my boiler for 4 years now, every year he sends me a message asking if I want it servicing, I'm so grateful for this reminder as without this I would forget, he is always on time, does a great job and charges the same price every year, which in today's climate is great as everything has gone up, I highly recommend Paul and should anything happen to my boiler it is such a relief that I have someone to ring that I can trust, thank you Blaymires for your excellent service

He came out at short notice on a Friday evening to look at a leak coming through the ceiling from the bathroom and took the time to properly assess the issue and identify the source of the problem. He then came back the next day within an hour of us contacting him, which was hugely appreciated. Paul was professional, reliable and genuinely helpful throughout. I wasn't sure this company would cover my area,being in Manchester but they were happy to. Blaymires replaced my boiler, and did it quickly as it was cold bad weather and they didn't want to leave me without. Quick to respond to initial enquiry. Called Paul out as my 7 year old Ideal boiler showed an FD fault on the display. He called around 15 minutes later , took the front off the boiler and said it’s a problem with the boiler which he couldn’t fix but it’s under guarantee “I’ll ring them and get them to repair it for free “ he said ! He charged me £65 and waited for me to go to the bank. I gave him the money and didn’t get a receipt for it. The ideal boiler man came out and in under ten seconds told me it was a stuck pump there’s nothing wrong with the boiler. He gave the pump a sharp crack with a hammer and it started working again. He told me that unfortunately you’ve been ripped off , it’s a murky world of central heating repair people out there you have to be careful………. Lesson learned at a cost !

I would highly recommend Paul and his Team. Great set of professional lads. I called Paul for a quote for swapping an old gas  water heater and replacing the boiler in the utility room for a combi. Paul answered straight away and was friendly and agreed to come look at the job the same day. Paul provided a competitive quote and gave this to me straight away after he had looked at the job. Paul gave me two fitting dates for the following week, one of which was his birthday.  Paul arrived on time with his team and got straight to work. There were a few hick ups due to the house being older, but Paul and the team worked through these without any complaints and completed the job as agreed. There was an issue with the hot water,  Paul agreed to come back out Christmas Eve after he had completed a planned job, which he was true to his word. Paul recommended I call Ideal due to a fault with the boiler, believing it was the water sensor. Ideal arranged to visit boxing day , diagnosed the problem. I called Paul and explained what the engineer had said , Paul told me he would speak with his team. Paul came out boxing day, rectified the problem, and was very polite and professional throughout.

Paul is a true gent no matter how small your job he'll always turn up and will always give you impartial advice on anything you not sure off. I removed a radiator myself and all l needed was for him to come round and give the system a good check gas & pressure job done in 15mins

Very impressive! We had a very old IDEAL boiler that was just ‘hanging on’ but really needed changing. It finally gave up one day, and although Paul offered to fix (if parts were still available) we discussed and decided to go for a new one. We needed it in ASAP as we had no hot water or heating. It broke on Saturday, we discussed the options on Saturday, and had a new boiler nicely installed by the Monday. Paul has also done other work for me at very short notice. He (and team) attend quickly and ‘crack on’ as they say. Very good.

Paul came out at short notice on a Sunday to repair a central heating pipe I had damaged by putting a screw through it !!!! Paul arrived on time to do the repair, he also re pressurised the central heating system and bled all the radiators, ensuring everything was 100%. Highly recommended 👌

Well what can I say Paul was as an absolute lifesaver. Our boiler cut out at 8pm and after spending 2 hours trying to find someone we were recommended Paul and we can completely understand why, he came out at 10pm within 20 minutes of contacting him and fixed our boiler in no time at all. He was such a genuinely lovely person who was reassuring to a very worried young homeowner who had never dealt with boiler issues before. Could recommend him and his services enough.

British Gas and BoxT cannot lay a glove on this guys service- I phoned on a Sunday thinking 50/50 whether I would get an answer. No problem – I got to talk to a real human being who would do the job – this was a good start but it got better. Paul the owner/ plumber picked up and I described a dire situation whereby my son took over new property in Leeds, and the boiler was not supplying hot water. Talked through the pros and cons of fixing or replacing- which he did without any pushiness and I decided on the latter. After the initial call – Paul asked if he could pop round and survey the exact installation etc because he wasn’t too far away. That took place 1 hour after the call. He then texted back with price/ model and warranty detail immediately. I checked the price on internet and it was competitive. Gave the go ahead- and although busy Paul stated he would fit in us in quickly. The boiler was fitted within 24 hrs later to a very professional standard. Yes fitted the very next day the Monday!!! I asked for info on how to a. top the boiler- b. set the Thermo- I was sent by return a video showing me the basics which was perfect. I can honestly say as regards service – no praise is high enough it literally was 5*, if everything in life was so easy it would make things so much better. If Carlsberg did Plumbing – this is what it would look like.

Phoned Paul on a Saturday afternoon as the water inlet hose was broken and water spaying everywhere, switched off at stopcock but no water available. Paul came out within 2 hours and replaced the hose. Good Price.

Came back from holiday to no hot water. We had a boiler that was old so we called out Paul who promptly came out late on Thursday evening. Paul was extremely knowledgeable polite, courteous and went through everything he could to restart be boiler but with it being so old we decided to replace it .. Paul managed to change a couple of jobs round and was on my doorstep the next morning at 7 am ready to fit a new boiler .. Brilliant customer service … I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a reliable honest plumbing service . Thanks again Darren

Paul has done a couple of jobs for me now, he fitted a towel radiator in my bathroom and replaced a push down bath plug that wouldn’t stay down. I recently needed a gas heater disconnecting that was no longer required. Both times he fitted me in on the same day. I will definitely call Paul again for any future plumbing work. Very late review. A few years ago my elderly father had a smart meter installed and the engineer that his energy supplier sent left him in the lurch by finishing up his installation and proceeding to tell him he had a gas leak so he’d cut the gas and that he’d need to call someone to get it sorted. (There was no leak before he put the smart meter in). I called Paul up that morning and he and his team literally turned up 2 hours later, stopping on the way back from another job. He went out of his way to squeeze the job in when he didn’t have to. Although it turned out there was no leak, he checked it all out and he and his team made sure it was all safe. For what he charged for what I’d deem an emergency call out, it was a fraction of what we expected. He could have charged my father much more and he’d have been happy to pay as it would have been justified. But it genuinely felt like he wanted to pass by, make sure the house was safe, and just be compensated a little for his time which is as fair as you can get. Leaving this review now as it still stuck with me after all this time!

During a kitchen fit realised the gas pipe had been retro fitted and would be in the way for the new kitchen. At very short notice paul sorted me out with Anthony from Moortown plumbing and property maintenance Ltd. Brill service great job. Needed a new combi boiler after the old one finally gave up the ghost. Also needed a lot of new piping etc because it was such an old system. Paul promptly visited us to give us an assessment and quote. When we said we’d use him he was on the job within 2 days and got it all done remarkably quickly…. Mainly down to him bringing his 4 lads. They all worked so well and efficiently as a team and did an excellent job. I’m sure we’ll use him again in the future if necessary.

I recently needed a gas engineer twice within a few days. Response time for text message was a few minutes and Paul came with his colleague within hours, job done within minutes each times. They are legends. If you need a perfect service and reliable people, do not hesitate to call them.

Call out for gas leak, no tools and skills to find and repair the leak,he cut off the gas and left us without hot water and heating His advice: Find someone else and call on emergency because its very dangerous 🤣 Then, I found professional plumber, they fixed straight away USELESS, WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME, AVOID !!!!

Rung in as i couldn’t get bath tap off. What was supposed to be a small job turned into a massive job. It took well over an hour to sort and although it wasn’t something they deal with normally they got the tap off and fitted a new one for me. Paul was polite, courteous and went through everything he could to eliminate the problem on an old boiler. He was then honest with me and actually recommended a service the manufacturer provide which in his eyes was the best option and cost effective method. Paul & his team did a great job replacing my bathroom sink taps & shower lever tap. The water didn’t get very hot from new shower lever on installation & I wasn’t satisfied. They stayed thou till prob was fixed, in fact even more guys turned up at my house to assist. They figured out the problem was temperature control & now shower was red hot and am so pleased.

amid the covid positive crisis at home, yesterday suddenly our kitchen sink was not draining at all. I tried all sort of home tweaks. also called my letting agency but they were unwilling to send any plumber to sort out my issues. i was so in a bad situation. but then i suddenly got connected to Paul Blaymire, and he was so kind enough to come down the very same evening (with all necessary kits and precaution for covid situation) and resolved my issue in a short time. Called Paul at 7am to tell him that my boiler was leaking water from the back and that it was old and needed to be replaced, explained I had a ninety year old mother living with me and needed a quick response he answered me within ten minutes, by 9am he was at my home looked at the boiler gave me a quote and by 1pm paul and his team had installed a new one, Very fast and didnt leave any mess installation looks better than the last combi boiler, quote for yearly service also very good comes with a ten year guarantee aswell, never used paul before but I know I will be in the future.

I had no hot water or heating, after a quick call to Paul he arrived 20 minutes later, diagnosed the fault and had it fixed within the hour. 5 star service and definitely recommend this company.

Having called on other plumbers, and waited, and waited... and waited on any form of response, it really is refreshing to have found Paul. He came highly recommended, and it's easy to see why. Firstly, a rapid response, and this was followed by a swift call out, where the two problems were rectified with no fuss. Effective, efficient and reliable.

Great service. I called late in the morning to report a leak in my kitchen ceiling (the shower is directly above it) and although they were busy that day, they managed to squeeze us in that evening. They quickly attended to the problem. There were gaps in the sealant around the shower, leading to the leak, so they sealed it up. Quick and efficient. The ceiling is no longer leaking. Thanks guys!

After emergency gas services shut off our gas, due to a leak behind the living room fireplace, Blaymires offered to come out same day, out of hours to cap and decommission. Paul came out a to give our boiler its first annual service. He spotted a few problems that were due to the installer of the boiler doing a shoddy job. He called the firm who installed the boiler for me and gave them a stern word and arranged for them to come out and fix their problems! He didn't have to do this as there was nothing in it for him. The service was carried out quickly and with a smile. Top bloke. Will be sure to use for our next service or if we have any issues. Highly recommend.

Came to help me out with low pressure late at night and at very short notice. Didn’t grumble about having to crawl under my floor boards to check for leaks and then had a good look round the boiler to see what was happening. And didn’t rip me off either - lovely guy, would highly recommend.

My boiler broke down, we have a Wooster bosh in the house. Spoke with Paul at Blaymires plumbing and heating. He give me sound advice and told me to contact Wooster we did and they came out and fixed it with a one off fee. With out Paul’s advice I wouldn’t of known what to do. Contacted Paul to carry out a boiler service on an older combi boiler at a commercial property we had recently purchased. Paul arrived first thing the next morning and carried out the service quickly and efficiently. The boiler passed but with it being an older boiler he advised me on a couple of small issues to keep an eye out for as they may cause us issue in the future which was much appreciated. Boiler service price was very good and I felt it was value for money. I will be keeping his details and would be happy to use him for any future works.

I needed a leaky pipe sorting near the hot water tank on my ageing central heating system. He came on a Sunday evening within 30 minutes, sorted that one out, had a good inspection and found some other issues which were in need of fixing as well. All done and dusted, not been an issue since.

Can not recommend Blaymires Plumbing highly enough. Paul came out on a Sunday to inspect a leak from a faulty filter on our boiler and the problem was fixed really quickly. Best value around as all parts/labour came to what another plumber quoted for a call out on a Sunday

Was very friendly when he came round, we called him because his sticker was on the boiler itself when we moved in so assumed he would have knowledge of that particular boiler, but he didn't solve the problem actually made it worse. We had hot water before he came and when he left the pressure was so high in the boiler (above 3 bar) and we had no hot water. Called another plumber who came out for free and put a temporary fix in place until we could get a new boiler. He advised that what ever was done to the boiler previously had put it under a huge amount pressure and if we hadn't have called him when we did we could have had a disastrous leak, (which would have resulted in being even more expensive). He said that the fix he did, although temporary, will see us through the weekend which was a sigh of relief in the cold weather and it was apparently a very common temporary fix which should have been done before if someone had been round.

Rang Baymires for a quote for servicing our boiler. Gave us a quote and Paul and his colleague came out the same day. Very friendly and jokey and got on with the job quickly and efficiently. Will definitely use them again

My old boiler packed in the other day and naturally this happens at the least opportune moment. Paul came out short notice and fitted a brilliant new one for me for £2000 less than British Gas's best quote and with a 10 year warranty . Paul came to look at the toilet which was screaming at us when flushed. We thought we had desecrated it with our waste at first, but Paul assured us it was some dodgy seals in the cistern. All fixed in twenty minutes. Would use again, hopefully not too soon, though.

I had a leak from the waste under my bath. It was only a drip but needed fixing as it was affecting the timber in that area. I contacted Paul and sent him a photo of the problem. Just moved into a new property and discovered numerous issues. Blaymires was recommended to me by a family member. They came out to do a diagnostic within 24 hours, and did a full boiler replacement a few days later, despite being very busy. They all worked hard in the heat (25C) and the job was done in less than 3 hours. Their rates were excellent for the job size. A separate builder has since verified it was a sound job at a good price. They also did a late night call out the same day for a separate issue, and were in and out in 10 mins sorting it out for us no problem, and again not charging huge late call out fees. I rang Paul when my boiler broke which happened to be when my partner went into labour. We were both concerned about having no hot water or heating for our return from the hospital thinking no one would come out instantly. Charges money for non-correct work and then "fobs" you off. so on Christmas eve I noticed a leak on my boiler only 3 weeks after Paul had so called serviced it. so now Ive had to ruin some else's Christmas by having them come out and put right what he didn't and yes he will know who wrote this review. and if his response is that I was abusive is incorrect, and also if he says all reading were in range I had a report from the 3rd party engineer who can prove him wrong.
