Reviews
5.0
BB Heat Pumps Ltd has fitted air source heat pump systems and underfloor heating for several customers, and reviewers often describe the team as polite, friendly and professional. One reviewer said the pipework was neat and that tight spaces were handled, while another said the team cleaned up so well you would not know work had been done. Several reviewers mention Alfie by name: one said he was helpful with WiFi issues on a smart thermostat setup, and another said Alfie and Callum fitted their system while they were on holiday. A reviewer with a complex system serving seven flats said previous companies had failed and BB Heat Pumps diagnosed and solved the issues, and another said a faulty pump was replaced even though the fault was not theirs. One reviewer said some building work in the kitchen meant the underfloor heating install had to be split into two visits.
We have a complex heat pump system service hot water and heating for 7 flats. We have tried multiple companies without success but BB Heat Pumps diagnosed and solved issues for us. Very prompt, friendly and accessible, highly recommended.
Can’t recommend BB Heat Pumps highly enough, they gave me two references to call before I decided to proceed which were very complementary. The team worked hard but get plenty of coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits ready which oils the wheels of the machine. They made things work even in tight spaces and the pipe work is so very neat, you can tell they have so much experience.
Great and prompt service, a very polite and trustworthy team.
Alfie and his team were fantastic. They are very reliable, prompt and professional—and besides that, just nice and friendly! Alfie was extremely helpful when I had WiFi issues for the smart thermostat setup. He arranged to be onsite when my AV person could attend, despite numerous hiccups from the other provider. I wholeheartedly recommend BB Heat Pumps’ services.
Alfie, Callum and the team at BB Heat Pumps fitted our system whilst we were on holidays. Completely trustworthy and perfect job to come back to. Teething problems due us being new to a heat pump, but being able to contact them any time meant that all is running smoothly. Thanks to all the team Jackie and Tony
Very good service from friendly team. Good tidy work. Will recommend the,m.
I engaged BB Heat Pumps to modernise my heating system, replacing an old 40 year-old gas boiler-based vented system. They did a quality proposal and install of an Mitsubishi Ecodan ASHP, new unvented cylinder, along with UFH for the downstairs. This required a good solid week of work across most of the house and loft. I appreciate that they were flexible when some other building works in the kitchen required them to split the UFH install into two separate visits, leaving it ready for tiling work. Finally, they're great guys--it was a pleasure to work with Alfie and Paul's team!
Amazing service, from start to finish. Very happy with my new heat pump system
Alfie and his team were very professional, knowledgeable and skilful. They talked us through the process from start to finish and got the work done ahead of schedule and left the place so clean you wouldn’t know we had had any work done. If you are thinking of installing heat pumps I would highly recommend BB Heat Pumps.
Great service and experience
BB installed a neat air source setup to our house and dealt with a replacement pump that was required due to a fault with it (not their fault).
After recently dealing with BB Heat Pumps, I would highly recommend them. They were polite and professional, completing the work efficiently and to a high standard.
Paul and Alfie did an amazing job, the heat pumps works really well with the underfloor heating.
Excellent service, highly recommended
Brilliant company to carry out your heat pump installation
BB Heat Pumps replaced my old gas boiler and heating system with a completely new Stiebel Eltron air source heat pump along with under floor heating. From start to finish I have been impressed by their knowledge and workmanship. At the outset I was unsure whether to make the leap to a sustainable alternative to gas but they reassured me that the system would work well and I am pleased to say that expectations have been exceeded even during the recent cold spell. As such I am happy to recommend.
