After searching high and low for a reasonable price for my new patio doors, I was recommended Classic by a family member, and I can honestly say they did not disappoint! A special mention to Sue, who was extremely professional, attentive and true to her word. She delivered exactly what she promised, keeping everything smooth and straightforward from start to finish. I recently had our new aluminium bifold doors installed by Classic Windows & Doors Ltd, who were appointed by Gallery Kitchens & Bathrooms as part of my kitchen renovation. I couldn’t be happier with the service. The two installers arrived exactly when they said they would, were extremely polite and professional, and worked efficiently throughout the installation. They clearly knew what they were doing and took care with the fitting, which was really reassuring. The finished bifold doors look absolutely amazing and have completely transformed the kitchen. They have given the room a beautiful, modern feel and have made such a difference to the overall space. A big thank you to the team at Classic Windows & Doors for doing such a fantastic job. St James Church are extremely pleased with the windows fitted by Classic Windows. They look great and the cost was very reasonable. The fitters were polite, did an amazing job on very hot days and cleared all the rubbish and even hovered. Amazing from start to finish. My new door is wonderful, so solid and sound proof. The guys who fitted it was brilliant, so respectful of our home. no mess the finish and workman ship is fantastic. There was no damage to my walls or brick work where original door frame was removed and new one fitted. Even came back to fit me a spy hole a week later as wasn't sure i wanted it on the fitting day. We contacted Classic after a recommendation from the company we're using for a Kitchen Remodel. They were exceptionally helpful and informative when they visited to measure up for the quote, providing suggestions and guidance for the best options for our Late Victorian home. We agreed to go ahead and replace all the windows as well as French Doors for the Kitchen. This ended up being 19 separate windows plus the doors, covering a Bay Window as well as double casements in nearly every other room. The fitters were with us for a week but were amongst the cleanest trades we have ever had work done by. Their commitment to doing a quality install and giving us guidance on the best options for inside and outside trim go above and beyond anything we have experienced over many years. The standard of work and finish are exceptional. We would wholeheartedly recommend Classic Windows & Doors to anyone needing new windows and doors.

We have used Classic to fit several UPVC windows and an aluminium sliding patio door. Some of the work has involved more than just simple replacement... one job involved bricking up an existing doorway and fitting a window. The patio door was being fitted in an existing window opening, so brickwork had to be removed and made good afterwards. The quality of work is excellent and their communication is reliable and clear. The tradespeople doing the work were punctual, polite, tidy and looked to enjoy their work. Something we really appreciated was their commitment to any snagging jobs. Ian has been out to adjust the doors, and fix a small problem with one of the windows. There was never a question about it and the work was done quickly and to a high standard. We have been back to them 3 times now for different jobs; that's how satisfied we've been. I would definitely recommend this firm.

I had a issue with the front door hinges which seem to have failed they came out and ordered the replacement hinges and when in replaced them so stuck to their warranty repair fitting was completed in a couple of hours and the fitter cleaned up after himself he said he would post a replacement rubber seal for the bottom of the door to finish the repair nice to see a company that reacts to a warranty issue well done

Classic have supplied most of the windows and French doors in our house over the years and recently fitted a new front door...nice product,high level of workmanship and very reasonable prices..what more do you want?

Fantastic place for all your UPVC/Aluminium windows, doors and roofs.

The best double glazing firm I have used for years. When I ordered from them recently they were short staffed but still made the effort to provide what I needed. I found them to be helpful when discussing my needs and friendly on the phone and at their local unit in Nottingham.

Had quotes from 3 different companies and went with Classic because not only where they the cheapest but i had a neighbour that used them and her new door looked amazing. She had said how good they were from start to finish and she was right. Workmen were both lovely, very polite and cleaned every space they worked. Took advice from them on which windows would work best for me. (I like to clean mine inside & out myself) overall experience was great and have already recommended them to friends & family.

Classic Windows and Doors recently replaced all our windows and doors. The entire process was really smooth and took about 8 weeks from first contacting Classic to having my windows installed. The office staff were lovely. Everyone who attended was really helpful and thorough, explaining the options we had for different types of windows and doors. They even installed an extractor fan into our replacement bathroom window pane. The job was completed in 2 days. The fitters tidied up as they went along and did a fantastic job while singing along to the radio. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking to have their windows and doors replaced.

We've had excellent service from Classic for the past few years having used them to replace a number of windows, and install doors; their quality of work is excellent. They return calls/emails, turn up when they say they will, and there is never any hard sell. We initially used another local firm whose service just did not compare and whose aftersales was terrible; just not interested. Classic have consistently provided great aftersales and their prices are competitive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Update to previous review as unable to do a separate further review. I contacted Classic Doors and Windows as needed to ask regarding some remedial work on a door fitted by another company some years previously. I spoke with Skylar who although indicated were not able to provide this service, they put me in touch as a contractor they use - Tony at Inside Out. Once again great service from Skylar at Classic Windows and the team at Inside Out - Thank you. We needed some spare keys which was arranged by Ross to collect. When we arrived we met with Skylar who was really nice, courteous and efficient in providing us with our spare keys and also gave us an insight in their manufacturing process which was very interesting

Very impressed with these guys, as a contractor I've used quite a few different window and door manufacturers and these guys have definitely stood out. They explained to me ahead of time of any possible delays that may happen so there would be no hidden surprises (Unlike other companies I've used in the past). When 1 window was made 100mm to small due to a miscommunication error, they told me regardless the window will be re made at there own expense, as they want to maintain there reputation, which I couldn't believe and was extremely grateful for, as I wasn't 100% sure this mistake wasn't my own. Absolutely would recommend these guys!

These guys did me a set of bi-fold doors and a small window for my new kitchen extension. I've was very happy with the sales team that went through all the different options available to me, and the quality of the fitting. Especially loved how they took the time to spray foam all around the perimeter of the windows to stop any cold bridging, so many other companies I've seen miss this vital step! My parents have had a new front and back door supplied and fitted by Classic this year. They were extremely happy with the service provided. They were efficient and made the process as simple as possible.

They are an appalling company. Send them emails they ignore it pretending they've not received it They never return calls. Ring them they talk to you as if you are something they picked up on their shoe. They say but never deliver. The are only interested in their supply and fix customers. If you are trade I am sure you can buy better and cheaper else where. Avoid these like the plague. Unprofessional bunch of amateurs

I don't recommend using this company at all. We had windows fitted which subsequently needed remedial work. Substandard survey resulted in the proposed work not being completed. However, we were still charged nearly all of the 50% deposit for practically nothing being done! In addition, I had to keep calling and trying to get a date for the work to be done despite having made a deposit. A very disappointed customer

A really friendly and helpful family run business. Not only are the quality and value great but what really helps is that they manufacture their own frames and glazing units in house - so the turn around is fast and if there are any issues they can usually be sorted straight away. Highly recommended.

I have seen classic vans for years in Nottingham and I have not done business with them. I can honestly say that I have received first class service from the initial survey to completion of the works. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent advice in relation to installation and which designs would look better bearing in mind health and safety and the aesthetic of the property. I followed their recommendations and was pleasantly surprised. The installation was done with precision and the fitters paid attention to detail. Their prices are competitive but the quality has not been compromised. I would recommend this company to family and friends without hesitation. Finally, all I can say is that I received an excellent service from the team at "Classic".

Had windows installed a few months ago. Very quick and efficient in being able source and fit a window. Window looks great. However, the installation is poor. Having recently fitted quartz worktops you can see with the eye how out of line the window is. The installers did not install the window to level.

After sale guarantee non existent I remember them classic glass same address same staff same vans they used to be a great double glazing company what's happened spent thousands and thousands there what a waste of money especially when the guarantee is not worth the paper it's written on

Having spent a significant amount of money with the previously named ‘Classic doors and windows’ we were disappointed when they simply washed their hands with carrying out any faulty work which is under warranty and fully insured. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

What a great company. I went in today stuck with one of my doors that they didn’t fit and they helped me no questions asked. Great customer service, I wish more businesses were this helpful even when it’s not a financial benefit to them.

Inconsiderate staff. Parked blocking road in Sherwood yesterday (junction of Woodville and Haydn Rd.s,10.20am). Please ask your drivers to park legally, this reflect very badly on the company.

This is second time using classic windows and delighted with them again This time we had good competitive price for 7 windows and one door, all members of staff from the first call to make an appointment for representative to come. Martin who measured, surveyor checking measurements and the fitting team Rodney & Lee were polite respectful of our property and did a superb neat job, The door is to be fitted shortly as not in stock when windows fitted, but not a problem, and will no doubt look splendid when completed Would highly recommend

There was a 2 months delay installing my new door as ‘they had problems’. It would be all ok , but the day when the door was installed they harassed with with 20 calls one after another by two different colleagues to pay them outstanding balance immediately, despite of the fact that I clearly explained I was at work and could not attend to my banking right at that moment as they demanded. When I said I’m at work and will pay you tomorrow they bullied me and accused me of ‘ withholding the money’ and were quite rude. I

We have purchased 16 windows, french doors, 2 composite doors and 2 sets of bifolds to be completed in 2 phases. After multiple quotes and confusing information classic provided the best price quote at the highest quality. Writing this review after completion of phase 1 and we are so happy, classic have been highly accommodating of our plans, turned up on time and completed the works to an exceptional quality. The attention to detail is excellent compared to those who had their new windows fitted a few weeks back, ours have bricks cut out at the window ledge to slot back in and looks so neat, whereas over the road have grey concrete which looks messy. I have since heard friends and family use classic and are always happy.

Had 2 doors from this company ...poor quality but for some reason put up with them like this for a a few years . Finally they won’t even open and close now .i paid for a professional independent fitter to see if he could sort them and was told the problem is the internals or the doors . I contacted Classic to ask about the warranty .... fully understanding that it’s probably expired but expected them to come take a quick look ( maybe this would of led to them charging me for sone new parts or at the worse I probably would of brought 2 new doors of them ) the lady was defensive, rude and basicly fobbed me off in every way possible !!! Don’t deal with company please Remember all I had was a problem that could of been remedied by new parts or if they treated me right a sale for them for 2 new doors but the attitude from them meant neither could happen Oh also I’m still waiting for a message back from the director ..........guess what ? No one has come back to me If there was a zero rating I would of selected it Shame on you classic .... when lockdown is over maybe invest in a customer service course

Lovely door and reasonable price hence the 2 stars. Sadly that is where the positive ends. We had a door fitted in December 2019, there was a mark on the glass, a bit of the colour had come off and we wanted a restrictor fitted so we rang and spoke to them the very next day. Someone came out to look, no further response, so then we phoned up again and they couldn't see anything in their records about the visit so they sent someone again. Again, no further response. Then lock down happened so I waited for them to get in touch once things eased on the lock down restrictions. Nothing. I rang again, no info in their records so they wanted to send someone to look at it yet again. I had someone due to come, that got cancelled by them, then I rang again and someone was due to come out, I told them I needed it to be 15 minutes later as I wouldn't be back from work in time. They agreed. Message not passed to the person coming out so I waited in all afternoon and he didn't show, when I spoke to him he had been and gone as I wasn't in. I sent him pictures of the problem as requested. Still heard nothing back. Rang again to find out when someone is due to do the work. Again they can't find any record of the visits so they want to send someone to look at it... Again! Only now, we have 2 more faults with the door. I'm hoping they prove me wrong and do a great job at sorting out the problems, and soon. However, due to the terrible customer service I can only give it 2 stars. Incredibly disappointed and wouldn't recommend them unless you have time to chase them up continuously and sit in for countless unnecessary visits.

Reliable hard working window installers. I’ve used classic on two separate occasions now, initially for replacement windows and then for a window to French door conversion.Competitive prices and nice products. Really impressed on both occasions with the builder and fitters. Don’t expect the guys to turn up in cravats with quinoa and falafel pita breads, the fitters are old school, they’re in and out in no time, with good workmanship and zero mess left behind. Just put the kettle on for them and let them get to it! Will definitely use again and also recommend to others 👍

Terrible install, terrible customer service you have been warned if this saves one person from having to go through the dissapointment I have I will be happy but you will be promised the earth but won't get it!!!!

Spoke to Sheelley on the phone, one of the rudest encounters i've had from someone when i was genuinely trying to advise them on an issue, she hung up before i could even tell her what the problem was. Terrible phone manners and extremely rude. If i could put zero stars, i would.

Family run business fantastic service and all the staff and I do mean all the staff are brilliant I've been using this company for probably over 15 to 20 years do not know exactly as I'm a builder the prices are great and the quality of the products are 110% would recommend highly

Called for some estimates and advice and I found them to be very helpful and informative. We've not progressed with having the windows fitted yet but will definitely be considering Classic D&W when we do
