Carlton Design & Fabrication Ltd is described by reviewers as a friendly, helpful firm that fits ramps, handrails and low-threshold doors. Many say ramps and other work were finished to a high standard, and several mention being kept informed or having options explained, with Tony and his team named repeatedly. Reviewers say the access these jobs gave made daily life easier, and one reports that an unused ramp was later dismantled and collected. One reviewer says their ramp was half the price of the local authority, and another says their ramp can be removed and the components reused; one says a weather-damaged ramp section was repaired.
We highly recommend Tony and his team at Carlton Design Fabrication Ltd. From the first visit, where Tony listened to our requirements and made recommendations through to the completed job we have been very satisfied. They were happy to accommodate our preferred start date, and each part of the process (groundworks and ramp install) were completed as scheduled. The widening of an existing path and the ramp layout have made access to the house so easy. Thank you.
John and Tony quickly advised on the best way to create my wheelchair access, explained all the options, quoted, and within 2 weeks had arrived and completed the work to an excellent standard. Very professional and friendly too. Recommend.
Fantastic customer service. Listened to my needs and designed a bespoke ramp solution so that I can access my bungalow with my electric wheelchair. It took just ½ day to install. I am really impressed by the grip standards of the surface. Thank you to Tony and the team.
Excellent service from Tony and his team to install a ramp at my Aunty's house. Tony contacted me and was very quick to come out and quote for the job which was all installed within 3 weeks. The installment team were very polite, friendly and explained any queries I had, and the ramp looks amazing and is very sturdy. I particularly like how the ramp can be removed when required and the company will reuse the components. The whole experience was seamless and all at a competative price. Thanks you Tony and team. I highly recommend Carlton Design for this type of work.
I highly recommend CDF for ramp installation at domestic properties. From the survey to installation it was hassle free and very professional. The workmanship is excellent, the team were friendly and on time! The price was very competitive compared to other organisations. Overall this is an excellent company to use if you require a disability ramp which needs professional input and installation. I only wish I'd located their services sooner.
Tony and his colleagues did a fantastic job fitting a ramp at my daughter's house. They kept us informed at all stages of the process and fitted a very sturdy and well made ramp. They were courteous and thoughtful throughout. I don't hesitate to recommend them.
Jack and his son built a wheelchair ramp for us in 2022, they were professional, efficient and incredibly courteous. They recently came and dismantled and collected the ramp as sadly it is no longer required. Yet again I was delighted by their kind manner and efficient work and would recommend them wholeheartedly.
They are friendly, helpful people who I have no issue recommending to anyone. Work is done to an extremely good standard. In this case the work included replacing the doors for low threshold ones and widening one of the doorways all done in just a few days.
Tony and his team supplied and fitted a low-threshold UPVC door and a threshold ramp in my conservatory. For the first time in nearly a year, I was able to make use of my conservatory. This has given me a new lease of life as I have more room to get around. Job was completed very quickly to very high standard. Most importantly, they cleaned up after themselves. I RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES AND WILL BE USING THIS SERVICE AGAIN. I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER

Wonderful service from CDF - I telephoned this morning with an urgent request for the fitting of 4 grab rails to make our home safer for my elderly husband - very fortunate that Steve (I nicknamed him St Steve!) was in our area and within a couple of hours he had fitted the said rails. He was most pleasant, helpful and polite and left no mess either. Many many thanks to the CDF team for their prompt attention to our request for help. Greatly appreciated.
Carlton design and fabrication are fantastic they fitted a ramp at the front of my house and it has improved my quality of life. Can’t thank them enough.
Fantastic job, half the price of the local Authority. Turned up on time, decent and honest company. Would definitely recommend them .
Tony not only designed and built ramps which allow my elderly father, now in a wheel chair, to get into and enjoy his garden but, a few years on, also repaired one weather damaged section efficiently and went the extra mile to ensure the structure is totally safe and all looks smart and tidy. He and his son did all this with cheery, friendly manners. Would definitely recommend them.
