I contracted Nick to remove our old gas cooker. He has done a professional job and will certainly invite him to work for me again. Edit: Nick has been back to install a new combi boiler. His price was competitive, work schedule punctual. My house is very difficult to work on as the previous plumbing was done by an amateur, yet Nick persevered and tidied up whatever he could, doing a very neat job. Professional, first class engineer!

Nick replaced our old gas boiler with a nice efficient new one. He suggested a boiler which matched what we needed. He removed the old boiler and fitted the new one. Everything was left neat and tidy so we are very happy.

Recently booked a last minute boiler service with Nick at N C Plumbing & Heating, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of their work and professionalism from start to finish. Nick has solved problems twice, when other plumbers could not, or would not. First, finding out the origin and fixing an intermittent smell that had been left because of a mistake by a previous plumber. Second, a problem solved (again other plumbers could not solve it) with my boiler. I would thoroughly recommend Nick - he has been such a help when others seemed unable or unwilling to solve my plumbing difficulties.

Nick replaced our cranky old boiler/thermal store, working in an awkward space with good humour! He found solutions to a number of existing problems and left us with a much tidier and efficient system. It’ll be Nick who services our boiler from now on…..

Nick was efficient, on time and very friendly. He supplied and fitted an insinkerator / waste disposal unit in our kitchen. His quote was accurate and despite coming across a slight hiccup with the power, worked to come up with a solution and finished the job in good time. Thank you Nick, I would definitely recommend.

Managed to too fit me in at short notice for a toilet flush issue, which then turned out to be harder job than first planned but all was done to great standard and a great price, very happy with work and will be using his him again for future boiler services as well I'm sure.

Great service and very prompt. Originally called out on Sunday as boiler not working. Quote given for call out which he kept to even though it was longer job that anticipated. Suggested service as boiler had never been serviced. The earliest day we were both available was Wednesday and arrived on time. Did a thorough job and replaced necessary parts. Explained why and what needed replacing. Also fixed a tap and leaking radiator. Will call again next year for new bathroom quote. Would highly recommend.

Nick was prompt in responding to my email and set up an appointment within a couple of days. He serviced the combi boiler and installed a new thermostat which is working brilliantly, and even bled the radiators. Nick is friendly, professional and honest, and I will certainly be contacting him for future jobs. Update: Nick installed a new boiler listening carefully to the specification and sourcing a well priced boiler. He completed the work promptly and professionally - it was not an easy job as the boiler is in the loft.

This was the annual service of the boiler which Nick had installed a few years ago. A repair was needed, and also one of the radiators had a leaky tap, which he replaced.

Boiler install with new flue and associated gas and water pipework. Excellent! My old water heater broke down, and Nick fitted me a combination boiler replacement, relocated in the kitchen. I thoroughly recommend Nick for all and any type of plumbing & heating works. He is clearly an expert in his trade with years of experience, which shines through. All the work undertaken was explained and agreed, the standard of work exceptionally high, results are neat and tidy. Nick works efficiently with the minimum of fuss, clearing up behind himself as he goes along. The price charged was fair and reasonable. Makes me look forward to my annual boiler service next year!

Our 3rd floor toilet was blocked. After ringing Nick he came the same day and sorted it. Unfortunately the next day the blockage had gone down to the second floor. Again Nick came the same day and sorted it making sure it had been completely cleared from the property. Would definitely use again and will recommend to others.

My gas boiler had been condemned by a different gas "specialist" so I called Nick to get a quote for a brand new boiler. On inspecting my current boiler and after asking a few questions Nick thought that he could fix my old boiler. A few hours later and my boiler was up and running again and easily passed the emissions tests for which it had previously failed and been condemned. Nick was very thorough, knowledgeable, clean and courteous throughout and has saved me circa £2k for a new boiler installation. I would highly recommend him for any boiler/gas work

Recently called Nick out to fault find a non-working boiler. Nick worked diligently throughout the afternoon and kept me informed about progress and what exactly he was doing. The fault turned out to be a circuit board in need of replacing and Nick was able to source the part and repair the boiler on the same afternoon. The pricing for this job was very reasonable. I have also used used Nick to replace 2 boiler valves in the past. I was very pleased with the service. Price was agreed in advance and he took care to clean up after the work and used dust sheets to keep workspaces clean. Nick was easy to reach via telephone and very knowledgeable in his trade providing clear answers to questions. Nick has also resolved issues with an old immersion heater at a family member's property after a franchised plumbing firm (Drain Doctor) botched the initial attempt to repair the fault. Nick was able to quickly re-do the job (install new element, repair faulty wiring due to poor workmanship) and get the immersion heater to working order and was literally 6 times cheaper than the cowboys (Drain Doctor) attending before.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Nick came and did my boiler service and fixed my toilet which has been out of action for quite some time. I live on my own so needed help with lots of little bits and nothing was too much trouble for him. Absolutely recommend!
