Gair Gas Ltd earn strong praise for their annual boiler servicing and Home Shield plan work, with many reviewers describing engineers who arrive within the stated window, work tidily and take time to explain faults and options. Customers who have stayed on their plans for years mention quick responses to breakdowns, including thermostat and hot water problems, and several single out new boiler installations as neat, well organised jobs. Criticism is less common but tends to cluster around the plans themselves: a few reviewers describe cover exclusions emerging only when they claimed, follow-up calls about contracts or quotes going unanswered, and one reports two engineers giving contradictory diagnoses that left them without reliable hot water over a holiday period.
As always, friendly, professional and efficient service. Highly recommend.
I HAVE USED GAIR GAS. ONCE BEFORE AND WAS VERY PLEASED AS WITH THIS TIME AND WILL USE AGAIN.MY ONLY GRIPE IS THE ENGINEERS HAD NO OVERSHOES.
Very quick and efficient service. Engineer was friendly and informative.
Very quick and efficient
Very satisfied with Mario's visit today. He was friendly, polite and patient. Went out of his way to answer my questions. Would use Gair again.
Alex was the Gair Gas engineer who recently installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler to replace our ageing 15 year old boiler. He was punctual, courteous and very friendly. He did a superb job removing the old boiler and installing the new one. He worked quickly and was very tidy. I was impressed by the speed of his work. A very successful installation experience and we're delighted with the new boiler with its 10 year warranty.
This was our first experience of GasGair and we were very impressed. Mario was great, pleasant, professional and clean and tidy. Happy to use in the future,
Arrived on time, cheerful, I explained the fault, which was a F75; he checked boiler inquired if we had a leak which was a radiator that was on list for replacement by GAir, shut down the flow rad valve on that rad, boiler since has been ok. Happy customer 😁
Contacted beforehand to say engineer was on his way. Completed boiler service quickly and efficiently and was happy to answer queries about other issues. A positive first time experience with a new company who came to us highly recommended
Very happy with boiler service, clean and efficient work serviced by friendly polite engineer
All fine, no probs, a pleasure to meet Harry.
I had my first annual boiler service today with Gair Home Service the work was carried out efficiently without any mess and the engineer was very friendly and polite
Excellent service from a very friendly, polite and efficient engineer. Communication throughout the servicing process was clear and punctual. Would thoroughly recommend.
Highly recommended. Very efficient service
Arrived at the very start of my given time window. Very friendly and thorough.
Informed engineer on way and then approximate arrival time. Prompt arrival, very pleasant young man who was efficient and did not waste time. I have been using this service annually for sometime and continue to be very satisfied. Thank you. V F Kenyon
Engineer very friendly - worked very cleanly. Respected our property.
A quick response from a local company. The engineer who attended went above and beyond to explain the problem and what actions to take next. Can’t fault the service. Will look to set up yearly maintenance program with this company.
June 2026. Following a loss of connection between my HIVE thermostat and boiler, GAIR sent out an engineer who fixed the problem very rapidly. Moreover, there was no charge for this exemplary service. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough, having used them for the last three years to service my boiler and install new heating controls. Nov 2025. Serviced Worcester boiler. Arrived during agreed time slot, with text 20 minutes before and tracking information. Very polite and efficient and left no mess. Will use again for my annual service.
Excellent electricians. Will use again. Great reviews everywhere you look
Very efficient and pleasant young man - it’s nice to know I have peace of mind by using Gair Home Services for my boiler service. 10/10
Initial diagnostic identified only a pump fault; however, this was later contradicted by a second engineer, significantly changing the scope and overall cost of the repair. This inconsistency resulted in an extended period without reliable hot water, including over the Easter period. The deposit also had to be chased, as it was initially not recognised in their records, although it was eventually refunded. Communication throughout was polite, but the overall experience lacked consistency and clarity. The quotation provided was also significantly higher compared to other companies for similar work.
Very pleased with speedy replacement of immersion heater thermostat
Gair Home service provides excellent customer service first time home owner had them for year let me know a month before boiler due service engineer took the time explain what he was doing clearly taking a lot of care to ensure that everything was working properly before he finished their yearly plan is reasonably price
the lad who serviced my boiler and central heating was exellent and very thourough, he double checked all of his work he was very profesional a very nice young man.please give the fitter my regards he was excellent.
Really pleased with the work done to replace my gas supply pipe, and the reasonable pricing as well as excellent customer service. Will definitely use again, maybe sign up to their plan. Thank you!
Brilliant service from beginning to end
Boiler service and Landlord Gas Safety Check booked in and completed at short notice. A five star service which I would highly recommend and will be using in the future. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing. Been with them since the company started and they have been brilliant every time. I probably annoy them because I'm not great at reading my emails, but you'd never know it. Thanks Gair Home Services for your care, attention and professionalism. Oh and for tidying up after yourselves.
Excellent service from Gair as always, and our heating is now working correctly again. Isaac did a superb job, explaining what he was doing clearly, and taking a lot of care to ensure that everything was working properly before he finished. All of the work was covered under our regular Homeshield maintenance plan with Gair.
Very impressed with their customer service. Sorted a problem for me efficiently and I am very grateful for their help.
Excellent experience again by this local concern. We had the repair needed completed within 24 hrs, and it was a pleasure dealing with Gair, who dealt with us quickly, efficiently and with super staff from beginning to end. Thank you to all at Gair !
Gair Home Services provide an excellent five star service supporting the local community. They are an outstanding, no-nonsense company. I am not a great fan of large national firms, as they often fail to respond when needed. I experienced this myself when a major leak was destroying my home, and they did not consider it an emergency. Never happens with Gair Gas. This time we were visited by Harry, an exceptionally polite and professional young man who was clearly efficient and knew his job excellently well. Overall, five stars (I wish I could give six!). Gair Gas remains our first choice for all home services.
I had problems with this Company and my new kitchen providers In the end the problem with my boiler was resolved by Gair Gas even though I believe the kitchen fitters made a mistake so thanks to Gair Fas I am warm again
Fitted a new boiler for me recently. Cheapest of the quotes I got for the same thing, knowledgeable and friendly engineers, took notice of what I wanted and cleaned up at the end. Very pleased with the installation and service provided.
Reliable, friendly and trustworthy local business
Gair serviced our boiler recently. The engineer was polite, knowledgeable and offered helpful advice not just on our heating system but on another plumbing issue we had at the time. Would use again and recommend to others.
Just moved in, needed gas fire serviced before winter arrives. Tyler very efficient, polite and courteous. Went through everything after the service including how to use the fire manually if remote was to fail. Will definitely be using GAIR for our annual service of our fire.
Excellent very professional service. We were looking for new plumbers after our previous one retired. We went by the reviews and are glad we chose Gair Gas. We had a new boiler fitted and it all went very well. Both Sams who attended did an excellent job and were very friendly polite and professional. The office staff were also very polite and helpful. As I’m vulnerable the Company very helpfully expedited the works. The added bonus is that they also do electrics etc and we are looking forward to joining the Home Shield cover as it will give us peace of mind. Update. Central heating not working. As we are on Home Shield we phoned up and an engineer called within a couple of hours. The problem was investigated and we were advised that a flush of the heating system was required. Heaters were dropped off on loan as I’m vulnerable. That was much appreciated. Jan came out the next day and flushed the system and it’s now working perfectly. So many thanks to Gair for your support, efficiency, helpfulness and speed in fixing the problem.
Gair Gas have been our heating engineers, well forever it seems. They fitted our boiler, repaired our Megaflo and have carried out numerous services over the years, but this is the first time we have used their plumbing service. The engineer was bang on time, super polite and friendly, quickly identified the problem and came up with a solution. Couldn't be happier. Would recommend Gair Gas plumbing to anyone in need of a good plumber at a fair price.
Excellent & efficient service. Very pleased indeed. Highly recommended.
I needed my rather old gas boiler serviced and Gair Home Services delivered a very efficient and courteous service. I will definitely be using them again. Many thanks.
Great service! They have installed a boiler a few years back and are servicing it every year. Always professional, on time and hassle free.
We always receive excellent service from Gair. Their engineers came to service our boiler and they were efficient, friendly and very polite. Job well done, as always, at a competitive price. Would very much recommend them.
Very pleased with a high standard of service.Particularly commend Isaac who was polite efficient and neat about his work. Well done and Thankyou
Kieran installed a larger radiator for our bathroom. He was very friendly and left the areas spotless when he had finished. We are really happy with his work.
Very prompt and considerate service.
As a long time customer of Gair Gas I am always Impressed. Prompt, efficient. Highly recommend.
From telephone call to tell them I had a problem with toilet, to having it fixed was brilliant. No fuss or trouble. The two chaps who came out were great. Thank you so much I would highly recommend.
The work was to install separate new heating controls for oil-fired boiler and convection heaters in our church. This installation was much delayed by me, but once scheduled, fixing separate new heating controls for oil-fired boiler and convection heaters was done quickly and efficiently. We have an old building with complicated wiring from previous setups. Great care was needed to remove redundant cabling without disrupting the remaining live cabling, which was done carefully and expertly. Date of experience: 09 December 2024
Prompt and helpful
outstanding service
I’d highly recommend them. Gair Gas provided a competitive quote and I was impressed by their recommendations. On the day, the new boiler was fitted within a day and there were no complications! The work was carried out exactly to that described and to an excellent standard. A happy customer! 😊
Gair Gas have consistently given me excellent service and I never hesitate to highly recommend the company to friends and neighbours, including those who have had bad experiences with British Gas! Use Gair Gas if you want tip top service.
Such a great service! I had a gas pipe moved to accommodate an oven. I submitted a form online for a callback which was swift. The quotation was quick and accurate. The price was reasonable at around £115. Two people carried out the work respectfully and expertly. The invoice was shared shortly after and payment was easy.
I have their Homecare cover and had to call an out of hours engineer. The response was prompt and my boiler was up and running in less than a couple of hours after we realised there was an issue. Highly recommended.
Job done promptly and efficiently at a very reasonable cost.
Job done but not completed first call. I assume I will not be charged for a second call out.
Where else could you get speedy, efficient and polite service make that GAIR.
Excellent service Problem resolved quickly
As usual having used gair gas before they identified the problem and rectified it in a very professional and friendly manner
Recently tried Gair Service and found them proactive to find an engineer that could deal with the issues I had.
Boiler and gas fire yearly inspection , all good, professional, polite and on time at a very reasonable price as well. Excellent service from the initial call to completion. Well done!
Thanks Brilliant!
Excellent, thorough and timely service
Great service by Gair, a complete new heating system installed last week, i.e. new boiler and radiators. Sam and Alex were very polite and tidy. I would certainly recommend Gair Home Services.
Very efficient, arrived on time and not only carried out a service but as we had recently moved home very clearly and patiently explained boiler and controls operation
Called this morning to request a visit to my elderly parents who were without any heating. Zain arrived in little over an hour and replaced their broken thermostat with a new one. Reasonably priced and excellent service, would definitely recommend.
Fantastic fast and professional service. Highly recommend
An excellent company, prompt attendance, friendly and helpful staff including engineer who attended. definitely using them again.
i cannot speak highly enough of this company from our first quote to the finish of the boiler service they were more than helpful as this was the first time of using this company and we were very impressed with the service we got also the engineer that came out to do the job was very thorough and polite and explained what was happening even down to the receptionist i spoke to about payment was also very helpful and polite rest assured we WILL be using this company for any other plumbing/ heating/ or electrical services should we need them and have noted thier number etc for our next boiler service next year
The engineer arrived on time with a courtesy text advising of expected time. They were respectful of my property and were polite. Able to identify the issue and solve it in a timely manner. I have used their services before, They will continue to be my "go to" I cannot recommend them enough.
I've used Gair a few times and have only good things to say. Every person attending has been polite and professional and gone above and beyond to give me advice about the heating and gas systems in my house. The first visit this year was a routine boiler inspection and service as I wasn't sure if I needed a new boiler (just bought an old house), the engineer advised me that although old, the boiler was in good working order, but he could have easily recommended I get a new one - as a different company had - and I'd have been none the wiser! Plus, he spent extra time investigating where an old gas pipe from a gas fire went which I wanted removed. The second visit was the installation of new radiators across the whole house and a hive heating system. The guys did a great job and left me with a wonderfully heated home! Definitely recommend for honest open advice and professional service.
Excellent service. Arrived on time. Did an excellent job.
I am very pleased with the recent repair to my boiler - we are now enjoying a lovely warm home. The Gair Engineers are always very pleasant, leaving the area clean and tidy and they cover their shoes when entering the house.
Very pleased with service you get from Gair. Very polite, very professional in all aspects, I will use Gair services on a regular basis. Thank you.
Quick service, very polite and friendly young engineer. I would not use any other company. Thank you
Gair Home Services We are having the kitchen refitted and part of that included moving the Combi Gas boiler from the kitchen into the roof. Sam Cattle who ran the project and his crew kept us informed about what they were doing during the drain down of the system and moving of the boiler. Sam also liaised with the kitchen fitter to ensure that his high standards were met. This was not a large job and at no time did they come and say to me “we have a problem” in fact the opposite. Thanks guys I have no hesitation but to commend them and at the same time recommend this company
Excellent service as always. The team arrived at the time given and were courteous and efficient. Thanks.
courteous; helpful and patient. Excellent timing. Thank you Gair Services.
Brilliant service, quick, polite and tidy. The guys who did the service were outstanding.
We pay monthly for a boiler cover plan with Gair, they respond quickly to any problems. It is reassuring that under the plan our boiler is serviced yearly and recently a minor problem was sorted quickly and helpfully by Andy Gair himself!
After a bad experience with another plumbing company. I called Gair. They done a fantastic job, from initial diagnosis to installing our new boiler. Very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend them.
Good response and service
Couldn’t fault the young chap who came out and restored our heating.prompt and efficient
We had a boiler leak I phoned at 8.30am and the engineer was here at 1.00 pm brilliant service .Richard was excellent and we were very impressed with the way he removed his shoes every time he came back from his van .he soon diagnosed the fault and we were back and running within 90 mins .We have been with Andy Gair for at least 15 years now .Its a well run family business Well done everbody at Gair Gas Ltd
Annual boiler service included in our plan.Very good service. Good service getting new radiators fitted
1st time of using Gair, they were recommended to me and I am very pleased with their work and the ease of booking them. I would certainly use them again .
Extremely efficent service. Knew and sorted problem. Left everything clean ande tidy.
Responded to my electrical-related call out request within 2 hours. The engineer was totally professional and customer focussed throughout, and was pleasant to deal with. Thoroughly recommend the service.
Very impressed, nice friendly efficient engineer. Would definitely recommend.
Great service, wonderful engineer who installed the faulty part quickly and efficiently
The two young men that recently fitted our upright radiator, were a credit to your company. They were polite and respectful. They were keen to do a good job and they succeeded. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone.
The service engineer was very thorough, and very efficient. The boiler got a clean bill of health with no issues.
the men working for you could not do any better.hard workers highly recommended izac and apprentice Tyler.
My first use of Gair was this week, very happy with the service, on time, clean and tidy, will definitely use them again
First time I've used Gair, I will be using them again in the future, excellent service. Lads were very polite, no mess, problem fixed, I'm delighted.
Matt was excellent. He’s clearly one of the best in the business. He has previously fixed boiler problems for me and in this visit he serviced the boiler, checked everything needed for gas safety certificate, all efficiently carried out.
Very good service , 11 out of 10
Fantastic service. Just had our annual boiler and unvented cylinder service with Gair. Our engineer, Issac, was prompt, friendly and courteous, and happy to answer my questions. I live in Chandlers Ford and it is great to have such a good local company. I highly recommend.
Excellent service very good
Gair carried out an inspection of our system before offering a maintenance programme. The engineer was quick and efficient and explained what he was doing clearly. We have signed up for their maintenance scheme.
Have been using Gair Home Services for a number of years. From a new boiler installation to an ongoing service plan and more recently new radiators throughout the house. Everyone I have ever dealt with have been great. Phones are generally answered within a few seconds - no long holding the line. Issues and problems are dealt with swiftly and fairly. Would highly recommend. Any improvements... would probably suggest the boiler cover service plan even though slightly discounted is a little expensive when your boiler is still under manufacturer's warranty. A couple of fairly minor faults were simply forwarded to the manufacturer for resolution.
Friendly competent team
Great service and competively priced. Andy considered all the needs of my elderly father when visiting the property for a quote. The guys who installed the boiler left the house clean and tidy and even washed up the coffee mugs. Would highly recommend.
As usual I was generally very happy with the Gair service, Except that I asked Stuart how to operate the temperature control for the central heating but when I repeated his instructions the central heating would not come on. and has failed to come on at all ever since.
We have been using Gair Home Services for several years and we have always been satisfied with their services and work. Both our children use them too and we would be happy to recommend them to anyone who wishes to instal a new gas system or have their boilers serviced.
Central heating engineers were excellent and arrived promptly. Everything working perfectly, many thanks. Geoff Wride.
highly recommend ! Sorted my electrical issues out promptly.
incredibly helpful, great communication and professional.
I had a text to let me know the time the engineer would arrive - and he did to the minute. Work was done in a quick, professional manner by a friendly technician. I would highly recommend Gair Home Services for your boiler needs.
Zain did a great job on our service. Right on time. Did it all efficiently and is a super guy.
Very efficient service.
An extremely pleasant, very friendly and extremely competent young man Zain did an excellent job. He is not only a great credit to Gair Gas but also a pleasure to have in our home.
All of the above, I recommend them to others who need this service.
Excellent service thank you
A good service. We did answer the questions when the engineer was here. All ok ,thankyou.
As always, an excellent job - be it large or small. Their service over many years is highly appreciated and respected.
Annual service was conducted in a friendly professional manner. The engineer arrived with in the time slot and appeared to be methodical in his approach and clean and tidy. I would recommend Gair to others. Thank you Gair
Excellent service and friendly engineer. Had my boiler serviced and will use this company again next year.
Sam was excellent. He was efficient servicing the boiler and gave very useful advice on when and how to top up the boiler.
Very polite and professional in his work, would definitely recommend gair gas to friends
Annual boiler service and open fire service. I've used Gair gas for about 30 years and have always found them to be good in every aspect of their business. Their staff are efficient and always on time and do a good job. Highly recommend; and I rarely give recommendations.
Boiler service was completed and afterwards report of engineers work was sent to me for information2023 21/08/2024 Boiler service very well completed by Richard today. He picked up new things others had missed, and ordered parts to be fitted at a later date. He was informative, courteous and efficient. I hope he is available for next year's service.
We have been using Gair Gas for 8 years. They first replaced a boiler and have since dealt with a few minor problems. Every year they arrange to service boilers before Winter sets in. Earlier this year they replaced all our radiators and more recently a new bathroom extractor fan. Every engineer who has visited is professional friendly and helpful. I make no hesitation in recommending. Maddie and Ben Cowdrey
Very professional & friendly service.
All good!
Very efficient service today thank you
Must say engineer has sorted out my timer he was very helpful and student also listened to what engineer was doing well done k C
Easy to book an appointment and was sent courtesy message 10 mins beforehand , Zain was on his way. Very polite and explained thoroughly work that needed to be carried out. Highly recommend.
Very helpful staff in the office. The engineer was very friendly and explained what he was going to do and then updated us when there was a change of plan.
Showed up on time, serviced my boiler, left no mess - what more do you want.
Superb boiler service this afternoon. Sam was very quick and helpful, checking all the controls round the house. Great service. Thank you.
We had an emergency after finding a damp patch on our hall ceiling. We called Gair Home services as we have a service contract with them, Sam came out within the hour and found that our cold water tank in the loft had a crack in it. The tank was drained and sealed off so no more damage could occur. We were without hot water for a couple of days but that was far preferable to having a ceiling collapsed and carpets damaged. Andy Gair came to assess the job and the new tank was replaced by Rich two days later. Excellent team work, very satisfied customers, thank you.
I've been with Gair Home Services for years (I still call them Gair Gas, I really should change that in my phone!). I took them with me when I moved house a few years ago. This house has had more issues than my last one, leaking boiler, replacement shower part, leak in pipes in a ceiling, leaking toilet. Give Gair a call, you don't have to jump through hoops to get through. Office team are always helpful and get appointments set up for within a couple of days if not same day. Reminder emails are sent then a message when engineer is on the way. All engineers I've had are always polite and clean and tidy. I will always recommend Gair and their HomeShield Plans. 08/08/24
No idea of what the fitter did. He turned up, I showed him the boiler, left him to it, 10 minutes or so later he said he had done the work everything OK, then left. Presumably the Annual Check was done. No paper work left. Job done, him or me?
Great communication and service for today gas safety check. My first time with the team and I glad I made the switch from my previous provider. Well done Gair Gas.
Job done with high standard
Excellent annual service. Engineer was prompt, knowledgeable and competent.
Routine boiler annual service. Courteous engineer as efficient as ever.
I have been a Gair Gas customer for a long time and have always had excellent prompt service from them. Their boiler service is second to none and on the odd occasion when the need arose we were never without heating or hot water.
Isaac arrived on time and did a great job especially in the 30 degree heat and in the hot water cupboard.
Good service from Gair Gas, Electrician Zach explained what items needed replacing and supplied and fitted two new smoke alarms and a new extractor fan/light in a shower room.
We have been with Gair home services since 2009 . They are in one word fantastic , the few times we have had to call them out they were there sorted the problem with in minutes . They are very professional Friendly and professional .We will remain with this company as we trust them . Thank you Andy for the best service we have ever had. Kind regards Ted Harris

Matthew came to service our boiler for its annual service but smelt gas and identified a leak from a pipe leading to the meter. He called the emergency engineer and within an hour he’d arrived and it was fixed. Excellent service!

Fantastic service by Gair Gas who came to service my boiler and my gas fire. I have also signed up for on of their plans in order to have peace of mind.
It was a small job but as always was carried out by Gair Gas with punctuality, efficiency and courtesy
Booked a boiler service and gas safety cert with Gair. Came on time, advanced warning/remidners by text. Professional and clean service performed by Zain and the certificates then emailed. Thank you. PS the Gair sticker put onth e side of the boiler also makes it much easier to remember who to call next year!
Have recommended Gair gas to countless people now. Excellent service and very friendly efficient staff.
Arrived per expected time. Efficient. Amiable. Helpful.
Exceptional service from knowledgeable engineer, better than BG and honest
Speedy response to situation. Knowledgeable engineer who explained the likely cause and remedied the problem. Great overall service again.

very friendly and efficient would recommend
Gairgas have just installed a new boiler for me. I have to say that they have done a cracking job. The fitter and his apprentice were extremely professional. Everything was left clean and tidy and all the controls etc fully explained. Not being particularly tech savvy, this was a must. I would certainly recommend them. 1st Class service.
Great service highly recommend
Very impressed! We've had a lot of electrical and heating problems since moving into our new house, and Gair have responded very quickly. The central heating did not work which was diagnosed and repaired same day, electric shower replaced the same day and two days of rewiring and making the electrics safe in the house. Very helpful admin staff and excellent tradesmen - THEY TURN UP ON TIME ON THE DAY THEY SAID THEY WOULD, which is rare good service in this day and age. We have more plumbing work to do and will be using them in the future.
another annual service everything checked correctly as usual all efficient clean and tidy what can you say a reliable company
I have found Gair Gas to be a good, friendly local company ~ good cover-plans ~ efficient, courteous, communicative operatives.
My initial experience with Gairgas is that they have been most helpful, punctual, polite and efficient.
Very happy with our annual service, however it would be a good touch to receive a written report to keep on file so we have a record to see how the boiler has changed over the years.
Zain was very efficient, polite and informative. Great experience of Gairgas.
Great service. Zach & Joe went out of their way to help resolve our problems. Very fair price too. Thanks
Professional On time Explain everything
We had a service on our boiler that was installed approximately one year ago. We were very pleased with the service, which was undertaken quickly and efficiently. The engineer tidied up behind themselves. Would definitely recommend Gair Gas.
Polite and tidy
Following recommendations from other customers we were pleased that we chose Gair to replace our central heating boiler. From the first contact with the office, the surveyor's visit and the engineers fitting of our new boiler was a smooth process which was completed in a clean and satisfactory manner. We are so pleased with the company, we are arranging for them to replace some ageing radiators in the near future.
Engineers very polite took shoes off at door, answered all my questions and did a very good job.
Fantastic service & staff as always .
Engineer Alex evaluated the potential plumbing problem carefully and provided sensible advice on options to pursue.
New boiler and pumped installed by Sam. Couldn’t be happier with the work. Highly professional and friendly. I have been recommending Gair to friends for some time. Many thanks.

Always excellent service from Gair and team. Matthew arrived on time, polite and friendly as usual. Nice tidy job.
All very efficient and a sensible price - returning customer
I have a boiler service plan with Gair Gas. I've been so impressed with their service. I discovered I had no hot water at 9.15pm on Wednesday, an engineer was with me in 20 minutes and got the hot water working although said I needed a new part. Thursday morning the office phoned to check I had heating and hot water - very nice courtesy call. Friday lunchtime the new part was fitted. Both engineers were polite, respectful and efficient. Everything was covered by my plan. You couldn't ask for a better service. Thanks Gair Gas
Very pleasant helpful engineers completed my annual service check on time. Thank you.
Great job with no fuss 👍
We received excellent service. A routine service unfortunately revealed our 11 year old boiler was defective. We had a choice of repair or replacement. We decided to have a new boiler fitted and the work was completed 8 days later. All very efficient and with no mess or disruption at all. I think that this company is an asset to have locally, providing a reliable and friendly service and I would recommend them without reservation.
Gair Gas installed our Atag boiler, now service it every year, their staff are always so lovely, polite and helpful. I highly recommend them.
Always good service trusted professionals
Zac was really friendly and helpful. He worked hard, as always, and got the job done quickly. He always does a good job.

Very impressed with the service received. I phoned Gair when my water heater stopped working suddenly. They came out the same day, diagnosed and successfully fixed the issue. The individuals who attended my home were polite and very good at keeping me informed of what was going on. Would recommend and will definitely be using Gair again.
We are long term customers and the engineers are always on time, complete work requested and appear knowledgeable and professional. The engineers are friendly and helpful.
Received notification that the engineer was on his way to carry out our boiler service. Arrived and carried the job. When finished all left clean and tidy.
E xcellent service
Very polite engineer and great service
The work was conducted and explained throughout. Any issues were discussed and options to improve the heating system also provided. Overall, the service was completed to a high standard.
I only rang on late. On Thursday evening and the engineer was here early on Friday morning. I had no hot water and it was fixed very quickly and the engineer explained why this was not working and what to do if it happened again
Very Reliable and Efficient
As always great service polite and efficient engineer neat and tidy work. Recommended.
Very good polite service
Professional service
Gair Gas responded quickly to the boiler problem. It was reported Saturday afternoon and fixed by Sunday morning! Brilliant service, thank you.
Gair Gas engineer Isaac carried out a job replacing a faulty ball valve in the hot water tank today. From the start seeking help to receive hot water for the house till the finish of the work were excellent.
Disappointed as damaged our kitchen unit door to the boiler
Matt and Alex completed the annual service on our boiler. They were punctual, polite and professional. Thank you guys.

good job
I have been very pleased with the service from Gair Gas, they arrived promptly and sorted out the problem, very polite and helpful.
We have a monthly plan, which is great, because it covers labour and a lot off the parts for repairs/replacement, some of which are carried on the vans, so a return visit is not always necessary. It also includes an annual boiler service. Check their website for more details on the various plans available. Would thoroughly recommend Gair Gas.
Always good value & a quality service. Gair maintains my heating system annually through their Homecare Plan & in the past installed a new boiler, replaced radiators & most recently, addressed the cause of an on-going plumbing problem. Always the work has been carried out cleanly & successfully.
Great Service, on time, professional and responsive at a competitive price.
Gair gas sent me a e-mail to say my service for my boiler was due . Booked a date . ALex the engineer phoned up on the date ,serviced the boiler told us everything was ok ,received a report from Gair administration All done complete satisfaction, well done to all involved, Just wish other firms were the same . Another satisfied Customer
We've been with Gair 4 years now and they've installed a new boiler and serviced it for us during that time. Just had a pressurised tank installed and Isaac did a great job, fully explaining things as he went. Only gave 4 stars as, although the quote cane out really quickly, it took a few calls to get the job booked into the calendar but it was worth persevering. Would recommend Gair gas.
Done quietly, professionally and willing to answer any questions
Sam was very professional clean and tidy worker and pleasant to talk to
Annual Service - no issues - arrived on time and gave me warning of arrival
Covered by Homeshield 400 plan; requested repair to leaking pipe under sink at lunchtime and plumber attended same afternoon. All work completed efficiently, courteously and to a good standard. Highly recommended.

Urgent call-out plumbing problem in loft. Plumber attended within the hour. Sorted the leak with minimum of fuss. Thank you
Brilliant, as always. An excellent can-do attitude with no fuss, good advice and a smile. What more could someone want.
Great support from Keiran who attended within a hour after my call out on a Friday afternoon. He confirmed it was a water leak from a radiator pipe union ,within 30 mins the union was replaced and the leak fixed. I definitely will be keeping my annual heating & plumbing service contract with Gairgas, amazing service and still good value.
Brilliant job from Kieran the plumber today. Punctual courteous and efficient.
Excellent service, but wish they could update their billing service to handle customers like me who are disabled.
It was a hob. Job clean, quick and effective. Thank you.
Gair Home Services gave excellent help and advice ,this provided us with the necessary information as to whether we needed to purchase a new boiler or not .It turned out contrary to what we had been told by another boiler company we did not need a new boiler .This saved us a lot of money ,we are now waiting for Gail boilers to come and repair our existing boiler.
Sorted our central heating very quickly. Arrived On time very professional, well pleased. Thank you.
Engineers were professional and polite. Boiler service carried out and documentation provided.
As always Gair gas service was efficient and good. We have used their services for approximately 15 years now and have never had anything but excellent service from them.
Easy to deal with over the phone when making appointment. Engineer phoned to advise of arrival time prior to arrival. Clean and courteous engineer. Dealt with questions at the time and responded timely to our request for quote for additional work.
Efficient, prompt and thorough
Great service
Top Quality Service carried out by efficient & polite engineers but, who took time to explain the workings of our new repositioned boiler. We were left knowing there would always be someone on line to help should we it.

Service good , minor complaint having not signed the service chart on the boiler
Excellent service from Gair Gas as usual to sort a problem which was not an emergency but nevertheless was done within a few days and earlier than expected. A special mention for Tracey on the phone who is always so pleasant and helpful. So good to talk to a real person. No chat bots at Gair Gas!
Great service fitting Hive thermostat. Rich and Sam were helpful, respectful of my property and efficient in their work. Always get a helpful response when I phone the office too. Many thanks.
Always friendly, efficient and accommodating.
My old boiler was 26 years old and having realised it was inefficient I wanted to install a new boiler to be as efficeint as possible. Although I thought I had communciated my requirements, it turned out that there had been miscommunication and when first intalled the boiler was not operating as efficiently as I wanted. Although it took a second visit to rectify the situation, I'm pleased to say that the boiler is now operating perfectly. It's good to know that if there is a problem Gair will work to get it resolved. In terms of the actual work, it was all carried out professionally by friendly staff, with everything left neat, tidy and clean afterwards. Thank you to all at Gair.
Had a yearly service carried out on my boiler as part of my maintenance plan as as usual perfect service, fantastic communication from beginning to end and a friendly and efficient engineer carrying out the work. Would wholeheartedly recommend!
Only a brief visit to identify a problem but arranged very quickly and attended to as agreed
Problem with gas fire, prompt call out and diagnosis with parts ordered. So far so good, will report upon job completion. Repair completed.....excellent and recommended company.
Excellent operative advice and guidance
Very efficient friendly service
Excellent efficient service. Thank you Gair Gas!
The callout response was good and the engineer was helpful and informative. The quote I received was not competitive and had no breakdown of costs and labour, this was in addition to a £90 diagnosis charge. I telephoned the office to gain the information, but was told that they just don't do that, but I was free to contact any supplier I would like to find out rough price and work it out for myself. The lady I spoke to, offered to get the boss Andy in touch to discuss it. When Andy called, I found him dismissive and a little patronising, he mad a cruse analogy about not asking for the cost of a steak when you eat in a restaurant, which had no relevance to the matter in hand. I feel for less inquisitive people who may just be tempted to accept Gair's higher than average quote with no question.
Emergency callout on a Saturday when our boiler failed. Problem was diagnosed and a temporary repair effected. Gair arranged proper repair under guarantee. Pretty good service if slightly pricey.
I have always received good service from Gair Gas all staff very professional and reliable
What an excellent service. I phoned at around 8am and the engineer was here by 2pm. Last year I was with British Gas and they could not attend within 20 days. The engineer was excellent and the job was done in no time. What a result-well done Gair Gas.
Great service ! We are very pleased
Excellent service: prompt visit to inspect; gave thorough advice and fixed minor problems immediately. Thanks.
So quick on a very cold morning the boiler was fixed in no time at all. Helpful research and suggestions for the future. This is Gair gas time and time again. Excellent.
friendly efficient service
Great experience ,can't fault them
Annual boiler service and radiators checking This is my 2nd year of using Gair for boiler services. Sam arrived timely; very detailed and patient; explaining clearly what went wrong with our radiators and what we can do. Thanks for the good advice.
Once again excellent
Fantastic service from Gair Gas Reported boiler fault on 18th Dec at 2pm they were on the scene by 4.30pm diagnosed the pump needed replacing and ordered one from the supplier. This was delivered to them and then fitted on Thu 21st in the morning so only without heating and hot water for a short while. Definitely recommend having one of their service plans
Had a suspected CO monitor alarm. When replaced battery no alarm but family still concerned. Already had monthly care plan so called emergency number as weekend before Christmas. Isaac arrived within about 1 hour. Very polite, pleasant young man who checked our boiler to make sure it was ok. Kept me informed and said all checks said it was safe. Thanks to Gair Gas and Isaac!!
The engineer, Isaac, arrived promptly and was very helpful and personable. He had to order a part and this has been dealt with efficiently in the office and a time arranged to come back to fix the problem. A very happy customer! Thank you.
excellent service , quick and efficient, all staff very polite and helpful
Having had an annual boiler service I mentioned to the Gair Gas engineer that we had problem and with low pressure in our water system. This has been a problem for several years since we renovated the house with a number of plumbers in that time not seemingly able to diagnose the problem. The Gair Gas engineer was happy to have a look and quickly assessed a possible cause. We agreed for him to order a part and the office team scheduled in a visit. Within a matter of a week the new part had arrived, was installed and our water pressure fixed. Now we can use multiple taps at the same time and it’s really improved our family tension at shower times. Many thanks 🙏
Engineers were on time , were respectful to us , all work was completed on time and we are very satisfied with everything
very pleased with new expansion vessel + pressure relief valve fitted by Andy Gair himself to fix an ongoing problem with our gas boiler.
This was the first time I have used GAIR services, and found them to be very professional, polite and competitively priced. Will now be my first port of call for any services they provide. 5 stars all the way.
Sam the engineer was brilliant!
Just a boiler service- quick, prompt and friendly, thanks
Lovely guy came out to fix expansion tank and imstall Hive thermostat. Very informative and went out of his way to find information out for us about our EV charger. I have been with Gair Gas for many years, happy with the service 😊
Consistently great service from Gair for my elderly mother. They're understanding, professional, efficient, and trustworthy - I couldn't ask for anything more.
Gair were brilliant, we had a service booked in but they managed to squeeze us in earlier which was even better. The engineer was great, explained everything to us, made recommendations, and sorted quotes for us for repairs/replacements. Would definitely recommend them!
Very good. Came very quickly, diagnosed the problem and offered a practical solution. Polite and friendly.
Had issue with boiler, came out same day and dealt with it and got it fixed, one their Home Shield cover plan which i fully recommend.
As always - professional, polite, clean and tidy. An excellent service.
Engineer on time and work was carried out in an efficient manner
These guys were fantastic. Very helpful and quick. Would recommend to anyone.
Very quick response and fixed my central heating promptly. Great service.
Very happy with service provided. Was a boiler installation. Very nice and helpful engineer team. Ps: Thanks to Isac for being so careful and professional.
Fantastic service from Gair. From the initial enquiry handled by Sophie, who explained the various options, to the visit from Rich, who explained everything in detail and worked in a very tidy manner, to the final invoice from Sophie. Thanks to the team
Very impressive service - my boiler was leaking and Gair Gas came to help within 3 hours.
Couldn't have asked for better service. All of the staff we met were extremely professional and helpful.
We had suffered with being cold for three winters. The service we received from all involved at Gair Gas was brilliant. Thank you, especially to Sam. He completed the work to an excellent standard and at last we can enjoy warm, cosy evenings.
I think that the service provided by both the receptionist and the engineer was very good and would have no hesitation in recommending your company to any prospective clients
Had an annual boiler check today. Everything about the service was efficient and the engineer took time to explain one or two issues. This visit gave me confidence in this company.
Engineer was excellent very knowledgeable and efficient
It was a really good experience and the guy was friendly and professional. I would use again and recommend.
Excellent job well done Andre
Richard was onetime. He was very professional and friendly. He did a great job.
We have an annual repair plan which includes one central hearing inspection per year. For the peace of mind it is invaluable. We just ring and an engineer is sourced at the earliest convenience. Usually that day if urgent but within a day if not. We are really happy with this service, the engineers are respectful, tidy, knowledgable and polite.
Gair services recently fitted a new boiler and the work carried out was excellent. I have been using them for the last few years and they are always professional and provide good quality service.
Work done promptly and professionally thank you.
Very efficient and curteous engineer did our first boiler service on 13th. OCT.
Helpful and professional.
First time using Gair Gas for boiler service. I found the whole process very professional and was kept informed when Rich, the engineer would be with me. He was very professional and got on with the job and left everything tidy.
Always polite and efficient a professional service
Many thanks to Gair, who came to us within a couple of hours of calling them when our boiler failed to work. The replacement part was immediately ordered and was fitted the following day so the boiler was working again within 24 hours. The engineer checked on the first day that we had an immersion heater so still could have hot water if required. He was courteous and helpful and clearly very proficient in his job.
I rang up Wednesday morning to ask for a call out because we had no hot water. They couldn't promise a same day call out and I said I have an immersion so it wasn't urgent. We left it that they would call when they could come. I then received a text message at 11.15am to say they were on their way. The engineer arrived soon after and worked on the boiler. Its an old boiler and parts are now obsolete but luckily he found the obsolete part he needed on his van and repaired the boiler. He couldn't give me a price for the part because it was obsolete but said he'd let me know. By teatime I had received a call telling me the price. I couldnt' of asked for better service. Thank you GAIR GAS LTD.
Top notch service and will use again.
Kept us informed and were friendly and very professional when repairing shower and installing taps
Good communication. Sensible price and timescale. Will use again.
Excellent service every time.
Very Customer Focused. Briliant
Always have done a professional job, friendly staff leaves the site clean and tidy.
This company have been so helpful since me joining them. They came out promptly everything I rang when my husband was still alive but very ill. They would come out very quickly and managed to sort out previous boiler. They have been really helpful since I have been on my own they have always come out . When you ring there is a person rather than a computer. They were extra kind and have been very good when boiler was moved and conked out from someone else moving it that shouldn't. The manager came and spoke to me they have been very supportive. All the staff are professional tidy and courteous. I wouldn't go any where else . 100% happy with them .
Excellent service
Always very pleasant and on time plus quick response.
Always have had an excellent service from Gair Gas.
The electrician arrived on time, he was very pleasant, and explained what he would be doing when installing the new downlight unit. He showed me the choice of white light, that was interesting, then installed the unit. He was probably here less than 30mins, so excellent service!!
Our old boiler was found to be faulty during the service visit. A quote was sent quickly and we booked the work to be completed. Great service Sam was superb, changed the boiler and made sure everything was 100%. Left the place near and tidy.
Professional and knowledgeable team, polite and respectful. Top marks!
engineer was punctual and friendly and did an excellent job of fitting bracket
Excellent work from Alex and Tyler in fitting radiators. Tyler was very polite and helpful. Alex was very professional and explained the procedure expertly. We were very impressed with his skills at fitting an upright radiator and skillfully custom crafting the pipework to rads. Looks beautiful. Thank you gentlemen.
(Grab your popcorn, long negative review coming up....) **Extremely Disappointing Experience with Gair Gas HomeShield Plan** I can't express my profound disappointment strongly enough after my recent encounter with Gair Gas and their HomeShield Boiler plan. This company's lack of professionalism and utter disregard for customer satisfaction has left me absolutely appalled. Despite my compliance with every request, Gair Gas denied me access to their HomeShield coverage. This decision came without conducting the property inspection, which, by the way, they originally insisted on as a prerequisite for the HomeShield plan. Additionally, as per their request I also provided a Gas Safety Check certificate that was both up to date and not older than three months. Upon receiving these documents, they inexplicably, and seemingly without any logical basis, denied me access to their HomeShield coverage, despite me having a brand new boiler installed only 1 week ago! Their excuse? They claimed they couldn't meet my "high expectations." But in reality, my expectations were quite reasonable – simply a reliable home protection plan with no demands on any discounts or waivers. When I sought clarification, their response was nothing short of infuriating. They hid behind vague policies, offering no real explanation for their refusal. It's abundantly clear that their customer service is subpar, and their communication is a train wreck. Let my experience serve as a caution to anyone considering Gair Gas for their services. If this is how they treat prospective customers, I can't even begin to imagine what their service would be like once they have your money. Do not waste your time or money on Gair Gas. Their customer service is abysmal. Take your business elsewhere if you value professionalism, transparency, and respect.
Problem with valve on heating system identified at yearly service. Parts ordered and arrangements made to fit all within 2 weeks. Engineer arrived on time and very efficiently installed new parts. Very polite, quick and professional. Have used Gair Gas for a number of years and always found excellent and good value.
We had a problem with a down lighter in kitchen - and received a visit on the same day we reported - fitted a temporary fitting and followed up a couple of days with a new one. In addition fitted a new one to match alongside. Excellent service. Professional/friendly electrician (Zac) and good to meet apprentice.
Rich was the engineer allocated for the service to the boiler and a gas fire. He had a cancellation on his job list so, he asked if he could attend earlier. He did the two tasks very well and was professional at all times. Cleaning up as the work proceeded, he was able to answer my questions about the equipment he was working on. Very happy with the service and care from the company. Thank you.
Efficient, reliable and friendly service for my annual boiler service. Very helpful to receive a reminder the day before, followed by a phone call from the engineer to advise he was on his way.
Boiler and fire service done
I used Gair Gas for the first time to sort out extractor fans in our en suites. They were prompt and very professional. They discovered one fan was not properly installed and sorted it all out. I am very happy with their service and would definitely use them again.
Brilliant service, would thoroughly recommend
Continue to consider we receive professional help
Excellent efficient job
I had a full service of my gas boiler and a new gasket fitted.
Engineer arrived on schedule and completed the heating boiler annual maintenance promptly. He also checked to make sure that I wanted to retain the pre-heat option on the boiler.
Very good , efficient and tidy work, done on time, with friendly and helpful electricians
We were a little apprehensive about the boiler change but Andy was excellent little disruption on time and left the site completely clean
Arrived on time, very pleasant engineer and clean and tidy
Recently replaced our old gas boiler with a modern, more efficient model. Nice guys who worked well and got the job done and good office support.
The electrician that came round for a quote seemed quite friendly and didn't push too much for what needed doing. The failing bit here was that they clearly sent the quote to the wrong email and when I asked for it to be sent to my actual email, they didn't send it. Clearly they didn't want the work :/
I have a pretty old gas boiler, a Baxi back boiler. Engineer seemed quite pleased to see it after spending time on modern ones. There was a small problem with the electrics after boiler had been re-assembled. Engineer was unable to fix due to boiler being very hot due to fire being on, said he’d be back at 0800 following day. He arrived on the dot after phone call saying he was on his way problem was fixed within minutes. Both Engineer and his apprentice polite and personable, they left the premises clean and tidy. Was very satisfied with work done
Isaac, the Engineer from Gair Gas, turned up on time as scheduled and was extremely thorough, tidy, professional and friendly. He is an asset to the Company and the Company provide excellent service.
Gair Gas are a highly professional, reliable local company who attended to fix a new boiler and for the subsequent follow-up kitchen refit. Today, they returned for an emergency repair and Andrei and his bright young apprentice did a good job. Sam returned for the annual maintenance and was prompt, tidy and helpful.
Annual boiler service. The service was excellent and Adrei was pleasant helpful and very thorough.
As usual an A! Service from Gair GAS and its staff
I booked my annual boiler service over the phone, and the appointment went ahead as planned. I received a text 10 minutes before the engineer arrived. There were a few extra jobs that needed to be done, and these were completed seamlessly. The engineer made a point of checking that all the radiators were running to the required standard, and said if there were any problems to contact them. I recommend Gair Gas.
Communication good from the start. In process of moving to Gair for cover for boiler, controls, heating system, plumbing, draining and electrics. Survey arranged for today. Engineer turned up on time, completed survey with no issues. Looking forward to dealing with local company who provide good value.
Excellent service, very professional and helpful. I will highly recommended Gair Gas Ltd.
Re- Inspection of gas supply meter Richard turned up promptly and was quickly able to demonstrate that the gas meter assigned to Flat 12 was incorrect as suspected.
The boiler servicing engineers are all so polite and professional. The monthly charge is very reasonable and the Gair Gas service is very reliable. Very courteous and professional company.
Annual boiler service done under contract free of charge. Sam was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. A totally professional visit in all respects as is usual with Gair Gas.

Gair Gas Ltd have always given us a really good and thorough annual service. We are really pleased to have Pete as our regular technician - very friendly and helpful with good advice. Thank you.
I am very pleased with the service I get from this business, from start to finish! It was easy to arrange my annual service over the phone and helpful to receive an email reminder the day before. The engineer phoned about twenty minutes before his arrival (I find it very useful when people do this), and he arrived as expected, worked well and without making a mess and was very courteous. It is a pleasure to do business with this company as I have always found the service of a high standard.
Brilliant service. Radiator leak sorted and whilst he was here, the engineer did the boiler service booked for later in the month.
I am a very happy Gair Gas customer and today they serviced both my mothers and my boiler. Ollie carried out both services with his lovely friendly and efficient manner. He answered all my questions and gave me loads of advice. He even sorted out a stubborn stopcock for me. Left both properties spotless. Highly recommend Gair Gas
Excellent service received for the installation of a new boiler, and new pipework for the gas supply to the boiler and a gas cooker, due to the original supply showing a slight leak of gas.
Always give a great service every time!

Very polite and good engineer to service my boiler today, thank you.
Excellent service. Always professional and courteous. Being local, their response time to issues is usually very quick.
Excellent company. Very professional, lovely job relocating and installing a new boiler. Would recommend, thank you.
Very happy with the service, both on the day and in the background if and when needed. The engineer arrived within the agreed time and provided a text message to confirm precise time. The engineer was able to manage the twin roles of the property being our home and his, albeit temporary, workplace. Very happy to recommend Gair Gas Ltd.
Despite a delay while they sourced a difficult to obtain part, I was quite happy with their service. The two people who came were, as always, polite, quiet and got on with the job with the minimum of fuss
Good professional team and took care of my home whilst they were here. Tidy job and at a fair price.

1 have used this company for several years and find them to be very reliable and helpful would not use anyone else very satisfied
Boiler service carried out promptly and efficiently by a polite and friendly employee with good communication .
We have just had our annual boiler service. The engineer arrived on time, was very courteous and did a very thorough job.
Called out Gair Gas electrical employee as we had no hot water from the boiler. He managed to find a couple of faults in the electrics but unfortunately hot water not working as he suggested giving it a couple of hours to heat up. He mentioned if still not working call the office which I did. They then sent out their Technical Manager Pete who not only fixed the problem for us (ie Hot Water etc now working) but also the Hive system which was in Demo mode by calling Hive whilst on this job. Nothing was too much trouble for him and explained everything thrown at him by myself. Absolutely first class business from start to finish. Special mention to Tracy who set up the visit. Would highly recommend this company to anybody.
I had a boiler service done Andrei was a very nice chap and professional
Gair Gas representative undertook boiler service and testing function in an efficient and professional manner. Performed all checks to ensure that the system was working effectively. Advised me of other services available for future reference. Very satisfied with work undertaken.
Annual service identified a major problem with our boiler that meant it was unsafe and condemned. A new one was ordered and fitted. The guys were considerate in covering work area with sheets and ensured we were happy with work done. They left us with a carbon monoxide meter too. We've been customers with Gair Gas for years and will continue to stay with them as they provide excellent customer service from all of the team :-)
Helpful friendly on time efficient
Great service today many thanks highly recommended 👍
Routine boiler service. Friendly member of staff , work undertaken efficiently
Gair gas came the same day when our pump broke down and couldn't get anyone else. They also recommended we had another job done which had been an issue for ages, when no one else had pinpointed the problem. So, we had them back and again an excellent job done. Would always recommend them to anyone looking for professional service.
Compared to so many companies, Gair Gas provides a personal and efficient service. A human being answers the telephone, listens to the request/problem and arranges for an engineer to call within 24 hours. The engineers are extremely competent and polite.
We have been very pleased with the service that we recived for the installation of a new boiler. This is a great improvement on the old one and we particulalry thank Josh Kennedy we carried out the work. John and Pam Marchesi

Peter and his apprentice Thomas came and installed Hive heating system. We have been with Gair Gas years now and always found them reliable, professional, knowledgeable and highly recommend them.
We were offered installation of 7 radiators at short notice. The 2 installers came promptly, worked efficiently together and completed the work within the expected time. The installation looks good and everything works as expected. Once completed, they tidied up and left the surroundings as if nothing had changed. An excellent service and I would recommend this company.
We signed up to the Gair Gas Home Shield plan on 1/1/23, not realising that our boiler would die that same month ! I called GAIR Gas, and an engineer was onsite within an hour to investigate, and came round the next day to give up 2 priced up options (Mend or Replace). Within 5 working days, Andy & Alex had fitted a new boiler - it is much more compact and efficient than the old one, and they fitted a much improved flu which takes the fumes/steam upwards rather than into our outdoor seating area. Thank you so much Gair Gas - what a great service !
Excellent customer service, very professional, knowledgeable and considerate engineers.
excellent service, as usual
we were very pleased with the service harry and Alex did putting in a new boiler .Very clean and tidy workers .Austin Underhill
I have used Gair gas for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. They are super efficient, friendly and always sort out any problem. I called at 8am, the phone was answered immediately by a very friendly and helpful lady. The engineer was at my house that morning and the issue was sorted. i would not fail to recommend them to anyone!
I contracted with you to put a washer on my tap and also replace a pull switch for the light, both these jobs were in the bathroom. At no time was I told that the person coming to the job could not do both jobs. He put a new washer on the tap and then told me he could no't touch the light as he was not an electrician. I cannot fault his work, but why wasn't I told this when I I spoke to the person on the 'phone that it would mean paying two call out fees? I might add that the day that the work was being done I had a call from the office to confirm the job as apparently the computer had gone down. I would like your comments please . I am an old aged pensioner and canot afford paying two call out charges. Truda-Anne Lee
Fantastic installation of a boiler
Arrived within the time slot, engineer was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. Service carried out efficiently and with no fuss. Left the area neat and tidy.
Excellent service had covet with them for years. Had new boiler and radiators last year very happy with their work and their staff
Always reliable, helpful and above all very reasonable work. They once came to fix my very old boiler almost 10 years ago and provided me with a simple solution whilst everyone else suggested I change my boiler. Since then they have been my go to and always been good service. The biggest issue is trying to book them in as they are good, they are busy!
I was impressed with the knowledge of the engineer who sussed out my problem very quickly. It has not yet been resolved as to do so requires a spare part. I will reserve further judgement till my radiator is up and running again. PS I have now changed my review to 5 star as my issue was resolved. Cynically, I thought the spare part would take weeks and that I would have to chase the company to arrange another visit. In complete contrast the part arrive within a day or two and the company rang me to make an appointment to complete the job within a week of my first appointment. Great service!
Fantastic service from Gair Gas Ltd. Engineer, Ben was super-professional and helpful.
We have used Gair Gas for a number of years & they would always be our go to company for any gas & home related issues. Now in new home & getting a new plan set up.
Absolutely Awesome service, prompt, professional and amazingly quick response in an emergency! Water leak contained and fixed, cannot rate these guys highly enough! Will definitely use again!
Professional and friendly, tidy and considerate when carrying out the works. Very happy with the boiler installation, thank you.
Very pleased with the work that was done at our home. Very professional and polite men and put our mind at ease. Did the job quicky and efficiently. Would recommend them highly.
Very good service, always kept in touch by email, txt informing me of time and date of arrival. Would definitely recommend using there services.
Responded with efficiency to an urgent request for a Landlord bolier/appliance safety certification. Superb service. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend. Thank you Gair Gas Ltd
The new tap was installed quickly and efficiently. Thank you, no more leaks!
Gair Gas have maintained my heating system for many years. They respond promptly to any needs, arrive when expected and carry out work efficiently and reliably. On this occasion of their own accord they reduced the charge as the work required took only a short time. I was expecting to pay the full price. I thoroughly recommend them.
Brilliant service we had no central heating after returning from a short break Engineer was with us within 1/2 an hour and fixed the problem We are both nearly 80 so now vulnerable Have been with this company for many years and ALWAYS found them very reliable Thank you Gair Gas your the very best
Always receive a reliable friendly service with Gair Gas. On this occasion the team went out of their normal area to help me with a challenging situation where I needed some help and support.
Fantastic service from Gair Gas. From coming to quote for the work to carrying out the fan installation, everyone we have seen and spoken to has been friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!
Having a problem with your boiler in this weather is not great news, however Gair Gas had an engineer with me within 30 minutes, the problem was resolved and heating restored. Excellent service, thank-you very much.
Excellent service. Would highly recommend.
My mother is very grateful for the speed her boiler was repaired and up and running again. Thank you GairGas.
Called them as boiler wasnt providing hot water and my boiler is insured with them. I was put on their list to attend to repair. The boiler sorted itself out and i cancelled them. They rang the next day to ensure that the boiler was still ok which it was.
Very good
all went well arrived on time i got a text to say they are on the way very professional
After a competitive and professional quote, this was followed up by a quality installation by a highly professional engineer, who cleaned up after himself. Happy customer, and will happily use these guys again to carry out ongoing servicing and maintenance through the lifetime of my new boiler.
I have been with Gair Gas since 2008 with a service care plan for my boiler. They were always very good and responded quickly if we had a problem or breakdown. The boiler was serviced by them annually. Last November (2021) during the coldest week of the year, the boiler stopped completely. We had no heating whatsoever and no other form of heating. We had an immersion heater for water thank goodness but an expensive way of getting hot water. We contacted Gair gas the next day as we had the gold plan cover at £24.00 pm.. We were told an engineer would come out a week later on the Friday as they were all booked up. We reiterated that we had no heating but it didn't make any difference. Asked if an engineer could phone as they had done in the past as it could be something that could be fixed over the phone, this was on a Friday, by the next Tuesday still no call and it was still freezing cold. I phoned and said we were still waiting for a call back, was told the engineer had been off sick so I asked if another one could at least call me back. An engineer did call then but was unable to fix over the phone, he fitted us in for a call out on the Thursday instead of the Friday as booked. When they came out during that evening they found it was just a fuse blown in the pump. Not that they would have known that beforehand without checking but we were stuck without heating for a week and when you pay for emergency cover is not acceptable. It was a 30 min diagnosis and fix. We have now had a new boiler installed by a different company and taken out their cover. Even trying to cancel Gair gas cover with the required notice proved non responsive. It has never been confirmed as cancelled. When needed they didn't deliver the service paid for. I had previously recommended them but feel very let down.
Just had my first boiler service. The service is incomparable to that of other national competitors. Very polite, clean service. I would certainly recommend them if you have had bad service elsewhere. I was very impressed and joined their monthly plan. Thankyou.
Very pleased with Gair Gas. I wanted some work done to my bathroom radiator and they did an excellent job. Very neat and tidy and achieved just what I wanted.
Shower isolating switch had died so needed replacing. Have the 5 star home plan with Gair Gas that covers everything at home, so called them to make repair. The correct switch was not in the van but was ordered and Zac returned later in the day to fit it. Thank you Gair Gas, great service.
Very impressed with quick response to our boiler problem. Engineer arrived promptly and resolved the issue. Thank you
My boiler has been serviced by Gair Gas for a number of years. Recently had a new boiler installed. Alex arrived on time and the morning he was unfortunately stuck in traffic he phoned to explain, he worked hard, communicated well and left everything clean and tidy. To be recommended.
Boiler and radiator installations completed quickly and professionally.
This was a quiet and efficient visit checking out the system. Had a good talk about it all and I am at this time, well ,pleased.
They removed 2 water tanks and heating system installed inside a cabinet in a bedroom, placing a new combi boiler in the utility room. It has been needed to modify and to re-route the most of the piping. After 3 days work (up to 4 tecnicians involved ) , I can now manage my heating system by an app on my mobile, deciding to heat up the house or the conservatory indipendently. The quote was not cheap, but we are satisfied.
Very good service. Friendly staff. Good experience
Replacement thermostat valve follow on from boiler service plus advise on kitchen tap. Friendly efficient and on time person attended. Have GairGas service plan cover.
Very pleased with pipe repair work and new boiler installation. Already noticing the efficiency both in terms of heat and cost (as indicated by our smart meter!) Two workers got everything done in a day with cheerfulness and professionalism.
Would highly recommend them. Called when they said they would. Turned up on time. The engineers were pleasant, worked hard and cleared up any mess they made. They fitted 6 radiators, a new boiler and a new shower in 2 days. Which was amazing. They even took the time to explained how to use everything to someone not technically minded.
Boiler fixed within minutes - Well done.
Had boiler serviced - fired loads of questions about efficiencies for the coming high price winter - all answered. Easy booking, on time engineer. Good value.
Would highly recommend Gair Gas. Had annual boiler service done as part of annual contract. Company very easy to deal with and all the engineers we have had visit have been very helpful, efficient and very friendly.
We’ve had a boiler/heating maintenance contract with Gair for some years. We have also used Gair for system overhaul. We have consistently found them competent, responsive and professional.
Second to none! Both of the engineers that turned up brilliant, their attention to detail, professionalism and clear pride in their own work was so good to see. They were happy to answer my many questions and went the extra mile in everything they did. I can't recommend GAIR enough.
Competitive price & a professional service
Having become somewhat disillusioned I moved from a national company I to Gair Gas Limited. This was my first encounter with them. I have been very impressed so far. Polite, friendly and efficient office staff. The engineers that attended arrived on time and behaved in a manner similar to that of the office staff. Documentation subsequently sent to us was equally impressive. Have to say that to date I am impressed by the service offered by this company and on the basis of their conduct on this occasion would have no hesitation in recommending their services to friends and family.
Accidentally gave two star ( fat fingers )whilst checking this on google maps. My Sister recommended for my Dad to use as his boiler packed up and I was checking on his behalf, however she used these guys And said she’s a happy customer. So apologies for the error 🙈🫢
We have a monthly service plan with Gair and today had our annual boiler service under that plan. The engineer phoned in advance of the appointment to let us know how long he'd be, turned up shortly afterwards and was very quick, tidy and efficient. I'm always very happy with the service from this company.
Gair Gas came out the same day as my call. The engineers are very polite and extremely helpful. We are having problems with the remote thermostat and they have promised to replace it as soon as possible.
Very good serivce from engineer Harry, very polite and a job well done as always. Really can't expect any more.
Returned my email request for an engineer, very quickly. Engineer diagnosed a water leak in the gas boiler. Part not available, Engineer will keep me informed when the part is available and return to carry out the work. I have used the company for a number of years and have always had excellent, professional, service. From the office staff taking the queries to the engineers.
Excellent service for all staff I communicated with. Reliable, helpful, timely, good value, will use again for gas boiler service and certificate
excellent sevice from Rich after good communication from the company. Rich was super efficient knowledgable and friendly ans completed the boiler service without fuss or complication and offered advico on other heating matters. First class as always from Gair.
Very efficient work. There was a size error with the radiator that was delivered. This was spotted by the plumber who noted it didn't look right. The radiator was replaced quickly and installed with no other problem.
Excellent service as always
GAS SAFETY CERTIFICATE For my motorhomes great service all round Thank you Gair Gas LTD Keith Easy Motorhome Hire Romsey
We had an unexpected boiler failure and Gair Gas Ltd responded quickly and returned the boiler to working order, no fuss, very efficient. Thank you.
After 20+ years with the 'Big 2' national gas companies who were always hard to deal with, and you were often left with the feeling that you were a nuisance in calling them - The last year with Gair Gas Ltd has shown what a difference there is with a good local provider. Have no hesitation at all in recommending their services to others.
Quickly resolved an urgent issue for my parents. They appreciated being called back quickly, the friendly and efficient service to get the house up and running and good value for money.
Very efficient company from the moment they answered the telephone through to completion of the work. Pleasant, friendly and competent staff working with knowledgeable engineers.
A realLy first class service. Would definitely recommend the company. Their staff are excellent. T
I use Gair Gas all the time. They are always good. They have done two complete heating system installs for me. Would recommend.
Identified problem. Went to nearest plumbing supplies to obtain parts. Came straight back and fitted.
Quick response from Gair Gas. Matt the heating engineer did an excellent job in repairing our boiler.
I recently had new Central Heating radiators fitted to improve the efficiency of the hating system. I am more than happy to recommend the Gair Gas Ltd companies service ability. The fitters Oliver & Sam were tidy workers and the work was carried out efficiently.
Zach at Gair did a fantastic job rewiring our house. He was professional and very neat, and helped us with any queries we had. We’re very happy with our service and would recommend to any friends needing electrical help.
Very friendly efficient and helpful company. I would defend namely recommend!
Very happy with the service!
Arrived very promptly and listened to the problems carefully and dealt with as much as he could, whilst contacting another engineer as well. Cannot bear to think of losing my Gas energy for all electric in the future!
A really super service where I had no hot water or heating for some time as the boiler had broken. Came round immediately provided a great consultation with options, no pressure and once I had made up my mind came immediately to install. The boiler works fantastically, is silent and responds to the programming and any adhoc alterations required i.e. turns off if the windows are open or if I leave the house.
Arrived to repair leaky valve on radiator expected full system required draining etc,,, fixed inside 30m no draining and no charge part of boiler cover package absolutely brilliant thanks GAir nice and cozey now👌
Planned to take out one the service plan with this company, had the initial inspection carried out and now it’s been more than month, still awaiting to hear from them regarding the contract. Made multiple contact with them still no satisfactory repose. Now given up as not reliable and not professional. Simply Avoid.
Always use Gair Gas for all our heating and boiler needs. Friendly, professional staff from telephone call, site visit to installation . Recently had additional radiators fitted in new extension and adjustments on current ones. Very pleased with the job. Would recommend this local company.
Friendly and courteous staff. Engineer left working area clean and tidy after service. Would happily recommend and use again.
We have been very impressed with all the staff from the time our central heating boiler broke down to the installation of a new boiler. We would particularly like to mention Sam and Pete who worked all day with great care. Also to Callum who commissioned the system. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Company to anyone
Truly excellent service from a company that runs on excellent principles. The owner, Andy, gave us a brilliant introduction and informative, helpful advice. Ollie and Sam who installed the boiler worked so hard and they were so friendly and polite. Sam came back to finish everything off. Every time I spoke to anyone on reception they were so friendly and helpful. Really flawless all round, I could not recommend Gair Gas more highly.
We had excellent service from the engineer who turned up at 8.30am on the appointed day, worked hard until finished at 3.30pm when we were expecting job to take more than one day. He was polite, efficient and helpful. He left no mess afterwards. I give him full marks.
Systemised reminder was prompt, always polite and arrived to do the work right on time. Solid reliable service. Thank you again.
Done on time and to budget, very friendly process, great communications and workmanship, excellent presentation of how to operate the new boiler plus all left very clean! Highly recommended.
I had issues with my boiler not heating all the radiators in the house. Callum arrived and was very good at explaining what he was going to do and why. He spent most of the day sorting it out and replaced the pump and new pipework configuration, balanced my radiators and they all worked bar one, which he is coming back to have a look at. Very happy with the service I received. I would recommend this company.
Excellent first class service. Modern lights with sensors fittted outside together witn camera front door bell. . Delivered and installed on agreed date at agreed time at agreed price. No need to look for anyone else.
Consistently excellent service again. Identify the problem quickly and sourcing the part, delivered by courier and repaired all before the weekend when every boiler chooses to break down. Cover over the weekend too. Well done Gair.
Wesley called approx 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. He and his apprentice arrived when scheduled and were professional, polite, tidy and efficient. He answered all my questions when asked about the CH system and offered useful suggestions going forward. Have now signed up to a CH plan with them and can thoroughly recommend them. Locks Heath SO31
Reliable service from a good business. Replaced a tricky bathroom tap without fuss.
I have been with Gair Gas about 3 years ago, first using them when the Boiler packed up. They were excellent then and I have continued using them to replace my boiler, for annual services when they have also been punctual, polite etc. I have recently had my Bathroom Fitted by Ollie and Team at Gair, and Rob at Unique arranging design etc. They have been an absolutely amazing team, my bathroom is better than I could have imagined and I am so very grateful. The house was left tidy at the end of each day, and they quickly replied to any questions I had. Already Recommending them to others - thank you all so much it really is amazing.
Thank you very much to everyone at Gair Gas.The ladies who I contacted on the phone were all lovely and helpful. The gentleman Pete who came to look at my Gas Oven which was t working was very knowledgable and managed to sort the problem and get the oven working again . So many thanks will recommend to my friends. Message to myself BE Careful when cleaning oven !!
Had a gas leak from cooker. The lady on the phone was very helpful and friendly. Ollie arrived in under an hour and was very courteous, friendly and helpful. From the initial phone call to the leak being fixed took less than three hours. I would highly recommend Gair Gas and will certainly use them in the future.
Recently a fledgling starling fell down my chimney and landed behind the gas fire in my living room. I rang Gair Gas and explained the situation. An engineer arrived within a couple of hours, despite the current lockdown and proceeded to rescue the baby bird with utmost professionalism and efficiency. What a relief. Thank you Gair Gas! So grateful to you.
My gas boiler suddenly failed to ignite one evening, so I had no central heating and a cold night. I phoned Gair Gas at 08.00 and was put on their emergency call out list. At 08.20 I was called to be told an engineer would be with me in 20 minutes. He was - he rapidly diagnosed a failure in a hot water relay, which he was able to replace from stock in his van, and had me fixed within the hour. Great service. I had intended to sign up to the Home Shield cover plan (which would have saved me the call out charge of £72) and am now arranging to do so.
I've just had an old boiler replaced, along with the hot water cylinder and change in connection of towel rail from central heating circuit to hot water. The installers were very helpful, finding a way to avoid the need for a condensate pump and working out a way to avoid cutting up my bathroom floor. Even gave me a useful suggestion to solve someone else's plumbing problem! It was also cheaper than British Gas. I shall shortly be signing up to their maintenance contract, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
A big thank you and a job well done. Had an issue with our heating and received great service from the first phone call, and subsequent visits. We would highly recommend.
I have always had the best service from this company. They are very helpful and staff are polite and friendly . The level of the work carried out is excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending them ,well done Gair.
Great service and fantastic quality workmanship. Replaced a faulty boiler and now use their cover plan for the whole house. Highly recommend.
Great service and a very quick turn around. Engineer was friendly, considerate and trustworthy and did an excellent job. Thanks to you all for making us warm again!
Fantastic service from Gair Gas - did over £3k works to our solar heating with a new indirect pressurised Worcester Bosch trwin coil cylinder connected to Nest controls - very competent and tidy workmen. Thank You Gair Gas and David for a great job.
We were so pleased that we chose to have an old boiler replaced by Gair Gas with Jamie and Tabitha on the team. Initially it was Rich who explained the type of boiler that would suit our needs and discuss in detail what Gair Gas can offer. From start to finish everything was well organised: 1. Having all the right tooling to hand 2. Protection of our carpets and equipment and thorough clean-up once the work was complete. 3. Communication with us regarding reworking piping to make heating system and boiler compatible as work was in progress 4. Good communication between Jamie and Tabitha We would certainly recommend Gair Gas to anyone requiring boiler service and/or replacement. Thank you to all involved including staff at the office. Ernie and Aline
Thank you for your last 8+ years of servicing and care of our central heating system and gas fire. Always professional and friendly, a real shame you don't cover the area where our new property is (or oil boilers!) Would not hesitate to recommend you.
We had a new boiler, radiators and bathroom tap fitted by Gair Gas. The work was to a high standard, the installation was efficient and clean. The installers were polite and hard working. Highly recommend.
I think they're appalling. To join one of their service plans we had to have full inspection of the system and the initial boiler service with them which we did and everything was in working order with no issues of whatsoever. The boiler, the hot water tank and all the valves are newish, the only comment from the engineer was the radiators are old although all are in good working order with no problems. Paid for the initial service separately, although it should be covered by the plan but they said not the first service, and waited two weeks to know whether they will cover the central heating system. Finally after two weeks they decided they can only cover the boiler as the radiators are old despite the fact they're all perfect condition and working order. This come after our current plan with the previous provider has expired which we did not renew as we thought we will be covered by GairGas which was recommended to us as a good local company and we had no issues in the past seven years coverages by different suppliers. I don't know why we had to do the boiler service with them in first place as all what they needed to do just do a quick system inspection without paying for a service and they could have given us the answer whether they will or will not cover the system there and then without the two weeks delay, however, doing it this way they would not have got the £60.00 service fee which we'll have to do again with another provider to cover the system, so makes you wonder is this just a scam!
I was pleased that Gair gas attended to my hot water (or lack of) so promptly. They phoned me as soon as they had the part to book me in. The replacement turned out to be quite tricky but the engineers stayed until it was complete and my hot water was working again. They were very polite and friendly and cleaned the area they had been working in before they left. I will definitely use them again.
We had quite alot of work done, including a new boiler. The engineers were polite, hard working and efficient. No complaints what so ever, would recommend to anyone looking for a local trustworthy company.
Great service - very helpful, polite and good value boiler cover. Would happily recommend them.
Friendly, reliable, tidy team. Worked tirelessly to fix the system. Also installed new radiators and shower. Highly recommend this company.
Installation / relocation of new boiler and replacement radiator. Excellent job carried out by very efficient, helpful, tidy and friendly engineers. Three day job with everything explained to me from start to finish. Great after sales service. Highly recommend.
I called Gair Gas because my boiler stopped working, they sent round Mathew how soon had it up and running with little fuss and a reasonable charge, I would defiantly recommend them. Thanks Guy’s..
We would highly recommend Gair Gas. The team were all friendly, polite, punctual and helpful. They kept us informed on progress throughout, and were happy to answer any questions we had. They were considerate, checking with us that we were happy with the work that was being done and how tidy they were keeping the house. Gair offer a quality service, and were a refreshing change to some heating/plumbing services we've used in the past. We'll definitely be using them again.
Service was superb! Workmanship top class! Have already recommend.
Fantastic service. Always courteous, efficient and reliable. Will use again, and again, and again!
Professional boiler installation with no complaints about difficulties caused by myself (routing gas main around other plumbing). Was rccomended them by my Girlfriend who uses their landlord servicing package too.
We recently had a combi boiler installed by GAIR. The work was completed to a very high standard and the installers were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend GAIR and would use them again for future work.
I would highly recommend Gair Gas, they were incredibly prompt, professional and very helpful. Other members of my family also use them and are really happy with the service they receive. I have used them for many years from a boiler installation to a leaking overflow and always found the engineers friendly, tidy and courteous. Don't think you could find a better company in the area!
I have been on their Gold Plan for nearly 10 years. I changed to them from British Gas who were putting their prices up to a ridiculous level (I am still not paying what BG were asking for 10 years ago!). In that time I have had annual system inspections, breakdowns and general work carried out by them. I have always been pleased with their work, never a quibble about work covered by the plan, and good value for anything I wanted as an extra (such as conversion to a wireless thermostat). Very happy to recommend a local company that relies on word of mouth for much of their business.
Super! Gair Gas came recommended from a friend- having searched around the local companies to be sure Gair Gas were the right people- - we were impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the company. Price wise they came out around average so we opted for them. Dave (+apprentice) came to install the new boiler over 2 days. Both were super polite and professional. They were keen to ensure we were warm over night and offered to leave us heaters. Dave kindly swapped the old radiator that was removed for the clean for a new one we have brought- without any hesitation. They left the house just as it was before they started. You barely noticed they had been in. The new boiler is awesome! Such a professional and honest company. Not out to patronise or over sell- just 100% professional. Do really consider going with them.
Gair gas always arrive on time and solve any problems with no fuss Recently attended my boiler and fixed the trouble in no time.
16/10/2016 on behalf of Ms Harrison Praise for the engineer Lewis who visited me twice- once to diagnose and once to fix the problem, gave me excellent advice and made sure I understood what had happened. Such a polite and pleasant young man whose attitude was so helpful. Thank you Lewis and Gair Gas Ltd
