Russell Miles carried out a full bathroom installation for us and substantially improved the heating arrangements and sub-floor insulation (in accordance with recommendations from Russell himself), so that we now have a draft-free and much warmer bathroom. Russell was absolutely great. He and his colleague came at the agreed time, were thoughtful about not wearing shoes in the house, they got on with the job with no problems to us at all, and left everything in excellent order, minus the limescale that our leak had caused! Such a friendly and professional service, going above and beyond. Oh, and the price was exactly as agreed in the initial quote. I couldn't be more pleased.

I hired Russell and his colleague in June to fit a bathroom suite after being let down by another plumber and I'm really pleased I did. Russell has been to us several times over the last few years for various jobs, most recently to install a new boiler. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, clean and tidy. He makes suggestions for the customer's benefit and his rates are always very reasonable. Last but least he is a very nice guy to have around. Highly recommend.

Russell is a credit to his profession and is one of the rare gems that surprise you with his honesty and integrity. We have had Russell quote us for a boiler replacement, which was the most competitive quote we had but went elsewhere as we found a cheaper option which turned out to actually be more expensive once we had them on site. Lesson learned! We also had him out recently to fix a tap, fix 2 loos, a shower rail and tile in some pipes. We ended up paying less than we were quoted (when does that ever happen with tradesmen?). He's a busy guy but he is really, really good at what he does and prides himself on the service and work he provides. Edit: Moved house and got Russell and his apprentice in to fit a combi boiler for us. Perfect, tidy work and has done a great job. Highly recommended

We contacted Russell about replacing two radiators in a period property. Russell came round and provided us with advice on sizes and types of radiators which was quickly followed up by a quote. We had an issue with the valve supplier which Russell resolved without impacting on the installation date. The radiators were installed quickly and with no mess and the final price was exactly as quoted. Will definitely use Russell again and would strongly recommend to others.

Russell is friendly and got back to us straightaway, which is not always a given. Clearly knows his stuff and no hard sell. In the end, following a service, we did require a replacement boiler and again he fitted us in at what must be peak time as an emergency job as we had no heating. Fantastic.
Russell was very approachable and responsive when I first contacted him through a recommendation. He professionaly relocated my boiler and associated pipes from my kitchen to a new-build utility room. Despite challenging conditions given the construction site and liaising with builders they managed to complete the works within the etimated timframe limiting the time we were without hot water and heating. Russell also gave me regular updates of progress along the way. Definitely will recommend.
Russell came to the rescue when our boiler stopped working on the coldest night of the year, he tried his best to get it working over the phone, but this wasn’t possible. He quickly visited and located the problem, unfortunately we did need a new boiler, but this was fitted quickly and efficiently – would definitely recommend!

I've used Russell a few times now after a colleague recommended him- it's great to finally find a plumber I will keep going back to. He's fixed up a number of things previous plumbers haven't managed to sort out with our boiler and piped underfloor heating. Fantastic!!! Had 3 other plumbers come and tell us we had to re pipe pull up floors spend thousands. Russell was here 2 minutes said you need new valves, an hour and half later we had our heating working after 2 years!!! On top of that all done at a tiny fraction of the cost. Russell removed our old bathroom and refitted and new one. We are beyond happy with the end result, Russell took the time to talk to us regularly during the project to ensure we were happy with plans and where things were being fitted. Russell and his labourer were a delight to have in the house, as were all of the tradesmen he used (plasterer and tiler), they were quiet and took care of the existing house, protecting carpets and being careful when moving products between rooms. I have used Russell on several occasions. I have found him to be reliable, friendly, prompt and he always gets the job done. When I need a plumber, it's Russell I call! I have used Russell to replace a boiler, fix a leaky shower, replace taps, unblock sinks (kitchen and bathroom), do a gas safety certificate, and for a few other bits and pieces. He never lets me down, and as I already mentioned, always gets the job done. I have no hesitations in recommending Russell.
Russell stepped in to complete the supply and fit of our new bathroom after we were let down by a previous supplier. Russell assisted with the purchase of the suite, choosing tiles and general advice on things that I would never have thought about. He always turned up when he said he would and left the area where he was working clean and tidy at the end of the day. Russell was able to fit us in at short notice and installed a mains water softener. Everything is working great, completed to a high standard, and left the site neat and tidy.
We recently employed Russell to come and make-good a disaster bathroom installation that another 'so-called' plumber managed to completely screw up. Russell came immediately, fixed all the 'niggles' and was able to also identify the issue with the faulty installation and help to rectify it as quickly as he could. Exceptional service and really genuine guy, only wish we'd gone to him in the first place - he's certainly our 'go-to' plumber now (recent boiler service and another ensuite shower issue both efficiently carried out). Russell Miles replaced our boiler and hot water system. He gave us very good advice and a very competitive price plus we liked his attitude. Russell installed a new boiler and entire central heating system in our house. He did a fantastic job, from the quote and advice, which gave us options to tailor it for our budget and requirements, through to really careful and precise installation. He is very friendly and personable. We're thrilled with the outcome and also very pleased we have a plumber we can rely on, we couldn't recommend him enough!

Russell and his assistant Ben created the most amazing bathroom for us. Their work was on time, on budget and of an impeccable standard and finish. Russell did a an excellent job of my cloakroom WC. Ripped the old shower cubicle out, moved the toilet and plumed in new basin and towel rail. He hid the new pipes nicely under the new concrete floor. Very amenable and takes obvious pride in completing the work to a high standard. Was always on time and reliable.

What can I say. Russell is truly one of the best guys we have found for our heating needs. We happened to call him on a Sunday morning and he was on holiday in Italy. He called us back. Who else would do that whilst on holiday if they were not truly genuine!! We could have got the work done before he got back 5 days later but did not as we felt that if he made the effort to call us back from Italy, he deserved the work and was genuine and interested. We first used him to fit a new gas hob. Russell is reliable and communicates with you all the time to ensure that you are aware of what needs to be done and how. We were very impressed with his professionalism and genuine desire to do a perfect job. He is clear with his quotes and can be trusted 100% to do a perfect job. He fitted the hob perfectly and left everything working. His workmanship was neat and tidy and he did only what he had to. We then used him again, twice, for connecting pipes to a gas meter and a landlord safety check. Both times, again, absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. It is very difficult to find true, genuine people these days but Russell is one in a million. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Please do not have any doubts - if you need anything to do with plumbing or heating, give Russell a call. I guarantee, hand on heart, you won't be disappointed.

Also made good the inside and outside wall (look brand new!), fixing the poor job that was done by the previous plumber.
