First of all I was very pleased with the lounge carpet. It was all done quickly with the carpet I required. Second time round for the bedroom and I've had to clear the entire room out ready for fitting the next day. I received a phone call on the morning saying that they received the wrong colour carpet. At first I said I would rather wait, but then I was told it would be another two weeks if I did! So a few minutes later I reluctantly messaged and said to just fit the different colour same day. The fitter is a nice guy and doing his best, but even the carpet wasn't enough to do the entire room. Leaving a patchy section inside the cupboard with no continuous finish. I did say the first time around how important this carpet is due to being upstairs in a flat. I can't help but feel I've been messed about a bit and pressured into taking a different carpet that was leftover.. Someone wasn't being totally honest, so I will more than likely be going elsewhere to finish the rest of the flat. It's a shame because it all seemed quite straightforward the first time round.
Wonderful experience. Just purchased a few vans and couldn’t ask from more. Sandra was lovely from start to finish and was honest about everything. What more could you ask for.. would definitely recommend anyone to do buisness with this company. Thanks
Overall I am quite disappointed by my experience with this company, which is a shame as I wanted to support a small local business. The main issue was timekeeping, with the fitter arriving several hours after the expected time, which was due to the vinyl not having been delivered to the company on the morning of the fitting. I paid for the vinyl 2-3 weeks prior when the job was agreed so I am confused as to why the vinyl would only be ordered for the morning of the fitting; surely leaving the company open to last minute changes and disappointment to customers. If this is unavoidable, I would suggest warning customers in advance that they would need to keep the whole day clear. I found the experience quite stressful, and although the company did apologise and offer to reschedule it was not the level of professionalism I would hope for.
Great service, Kellie was very helpful visiting us for the survey and choosing our flooring at the showroom. The fitters were really good too and the new floor in our bathroom looks amazing. Definitely recommend The Carpet Lady and we are planning to have them back in the new year for some of our other rooms.
Very disappointed to have experienced irratic bullish driving by one of your vans today whilst driving towards kimmeridge. With tight lanes and speed restrictions one of your vans speeding using the vans size to bully their way through nearly pushed us off the Rd with zero consideration only to be greated by a male leaning over the dash board from the passenger seat with a middle finger. I cannot speak for your work but your staff....... not a good look.

Poor communication, poor service, tried to resolve with them and no communication back. Very unprofessional on the phone and didn't give clear information at all. Very disappointed. Carpet looks OK but the process was less than ideal.

Carpet lady did my hallway floor in February- wouldn’t recommend personally as very poor time keeping they told me they would be here 10am for measurements and arrived at 11:30 then the day of fitting they said 10am and arrived at about 1 and half late no phone call or anything I rang them and they said I was the next job ? When I was ment to be the first job, the fitter actually told me the first job wasn’t expecting him till 12 so he ment to come here first they need to organise their time better when customers are paying good money, and then the glue that the fitter left on the floor, I had to message and ask how to remove it as it wouldn’t come off

The Carpet Lady is highly recommended. Kellie efficiently measured the areas, brought samples and gave quotes on the same day. Fitting date was about 15 days after the measurement. I deliberately split my flooring to two stages as I got the best quote in the whole area, and I wasn’t sure about the result yet. Once my first floor and stairs carpet had been done, I returned to them to have my ground floor LVT done, because I was surprised and happy with the result. And again, I couldn’t be happier with the result. The person who fitted the carpet and the LVT, Nick, was hardworking, efficient and friendly. Thanks to all The Carpet Lady staff especially, Sandy, Kellie and Nick.

I have recently had my carpet fitted by The Carpet Lady. Now I don't normally give reviews but this company deserves it. From start to finish the experience/ service was amazing. From asking for a quote in which they came to my flat, measured themselves and came with an array of samples to choose from. The quote I must say puts everyone else to shame. I did change my mind they sent a re quote and within the week my carpet was put down. Massive Thank you to Kellie and Lewis the fitter. Don't go to the sheds go with this company, I can assure you you won't be disappointed.

Wow! What a gem! I would thoroughly recommend this lady's business to show you many samples of carpets from her very large van, (a mobile shop, if you like!) to give you the best advice and suggestions, with great quotes, resulting in an excellent fitting service by her team, (Sandy Collins.) As you can see, I chose the softest, cream carpet for my vintage - styled bedroom from the 'Abingdon' range, with the softest of, 'I adore'. So soft to the feet, you will not want to wear any slippers! Skillful, polite, clean and tidy fitters, that I would welcome back again for the next room to be carpeted, after that has been decorated. I'm quite surprised at the reviews on here. It feels like I'm reading about a different company! My partner used this company and refused to write a review because she just wanted to forget the experience and didn't want to upset the owner. But the whole thing was so bad I can't help thinking somebody should say something to avoid anytime else going through the same thing. Firstly, while they appear knowledgeable and eloquent in what they say, the pre-advice given was simply wrong. I would strongly recommend you get a good carpet fitter to go through any fitting with you in advance. It will allow you to prep properly and make decisions which will impact the final quality of the fitting. In this case, the owner was so friendly and convincing, my partner didn't. Even though my partner said there were alarms bells with some things she was told. Secondly, the fitters used were so stacked up with jobs, from the moment they arrived she said all she could hear them talking about was how they could organise themselves best in order to make it to the next job quickly. Ultimately, a second visit was needed to sort issues. Some issues were just not fixable without the job being done again so my partner just left it. Other things she just did herself. There were creases left in the carpets which had to be flattened out, some carpets didn't quite reach the edges properly and had to be recut, transitions between rooms were poor, no clean up was done after latexing... latex marks were left on tiling and skirtings and she had to scrape them off, floors were not flat despite the latexing so you can see slight folds, the cut of LVT around the toilet was poor, likewise around the room edges - my partner had hoped a silicon strip would hide these issues and as she didn't have confidence the quality would be much better if she asked them to do it again... she didn't bother asking... though she was subsequently told that silicon would not hide the problem, sadly. In short, ask around and go with a recommended fitter and talk to the one doing the work. Not a shop.
Disappointed had my lounge diner and stairs carpeted. Which obviously cost alot of money paid for 40.8m2 ..when fitters finished and left didn't leave me any off cuts which I knew there would be some. I'M sure they got resold..When I went to see Sandy in the shop to ask her where they were she replied had been disposed off as that's what I paid for!! I had paid for the disposal of the old carpet and not the new carpet I had just brought..so beware!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Sandy came to my home with samples of exactly what I was looking for and made it really simple to choose (unlike the complete overwhelm I had when going into a carpet warehouse!). She did all the measuring and gave us a brilliant price and it was all clear and simple. We booked it in and her guys came out and went above and beyond to fit it all for us. They even worked around our baby napping, cleaned up afterwards and helped with extra grippers and door adjustments. Absolutely brilliant service, I'd recommend her so highly my mum is even getting her carpets done through the Carpet Lady!
