Dorset Wood Floors

Outstanding from start to finish. We had a renovation of an old failing herringbone floor, including the replacement of a poorly patched area using recycled wood from another room, and a replacement with engineered Oak herringbone including level and bond matching to an adjoining room in the same flooring. Both were completed to the highest standard imaginable. Tom communicates well, does what he says he’ll do and completed the project in about the time he predicted. I could not be happier with this work.

We are so pleased with our herringbone wood floor, expertly fitted by Tom. The floor has a vintage look and really enhances our hallway. We’ve had lots of positive comments from friends that have visited. Thanks for your advice Tom and expertise.

Tom at Dorset Wood Flooring fitted my oak herringbone lounge dinner and hall floor. I can't say enough about how amazing it looks. Nearly every person that notices My new floor says what a great look it has. Tom talked me through the whole process from start to finish, He has tremendous knowledge of all his products that makes you feel confident about the process that he takes to give you a fantastic end result. His workmanship is second to none and I would definitely 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a genuine helpful local business looking to have new flooring. He was very neat and tidy polite and very punctual,

Tom recently laid a versailles panel floor in my cottage. Despite having uneven floors, Tom's professionalism and quality of work has meant that I now have beautiful level flooring that enhances all the rooms. I would highly recommend Dorset Wood Floors.

Tom did a superb job. He took the time to understand the ask, discuss options and set out a plan that worked to our requirements. The work was completed on plan and to a very high standard with minimal disruption. I was also amazed how little mess/dust was created. Would recommend!

Tom is a real craftsman. Our new herringbone wooden floor looks absolutely beautiful, he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. He has a large range of wood samples and advised us on what would suit the space taking our preferences into consideration. He left samples with us and dropped off more for us to try before we made a decision on what we wanted. He always turned up when he said he would and replied promptly to my emails. He completed our floor in a timely fashion and was very neat and tidy throughout. I would recommend Dorset Wood Floor 100%

I worked with Tom to relay all the floors in my new home. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful (and patient when i couldn’t quite make up my mind on colours!). The result was a mix of plank and herringbone that is so beautifully laid and I regularly get compliments on my floor still. Thank you Tom!

We had a natural oak floor in herringbone pattern laid which we absolutely love. Tom, from Dorset Wood Floors was extremely pleasant and professional to deal with. He came to our house with a massive range of flooring samples for us to choose from and spent the time talking us through all the different options. Even when we had delays from the builder before the room was ready for the floor, Tom was fully accomodating and was able to adjust his schedule to met ours. Absolutely fantastic work and would totally recommend Dorset Wood Floors :-)

Tom was wonderful to work with - he listened to what we wanted and supplied beautiful flooring which others couldn’t supply at that time. Don’t be put off by the lack of a showroom - samples and choices brought to site to discuss in situ were plentiful. The job was immaculately done and the new floor transformed the space. Highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to discover an original wooden parquet flooring in my house! From the outset of contacting Tom he was professional and kept me well informed on everything. The work that he carried out was marvellous and we were thrilled with the quality and the look. Absolutely brilliant!

We were very happy with the work Tom did for us. From initial contact, choosing the materials and then on to the installation itself, everything was faultless - and indeed Tom clearly takes alot of pride in the installation process.
