Great Choice Flooring

Very happy repeat customers here! The second time Paul and his team have fitted beautiful flooring for us. This time a gorgeous stair runner, landing and study carpet. Fitted quickly and looks amazing. Thanks again guys. Always our first port of call for new flooring. Paul is fab to deal with - really friendly and his mobile service saves a lot of hassle wandering around carpet shops! Will easily use Great Choice Flooring again.

Great service and good prices

Paul listened to what I was after and gave helpful advice for choosing the best option. The fitters were friendly and professional. I’d definitely use them again. Thank you!

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Not something I thought I’d ever say about carpet fitting! But here we are. The initial visit where we discussed options, types of carpets, colours to suit the room etc, booking in at a time that suited us, and then on the day the 2 fitters were in, quick and super tidy. like I say. What a great experience. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough

Paul came on time today he was recommended by 2 people. Quickly checked where he was working. 3 hours later I had 6 room carpets hall stairs and landing all looking like new . We were very happy with the results. This evening carpets almost dry. Excellent job highly recommend.

Paul was extremely efficient and friendly! My carpets were quite a mess and now they look brand new! Superb service and excellent results, cannot recommend him enough!

Paul , of Great Choice Flooring came and cleaned our downstairs carpets and certain soft furnishings in October '25. Having previously visited to give us an estimate for the cleaning, we accepted his quotation and fixed a date. True to his word Paul arrived on time and did a good job. His cleaning equipment ( installed in his van ) was efficient and we are pleased with the result. We also had some new carpet, in our attic, that we asked him to lay on our staircase and his coleague, Rich, did this a few days later. Rich removed the old carpet, and left our home clean and tidy. I would recommend this friendly local Poole based firm. The prices quoted, for cleaning and carpet fitting were exactly as quoted . 👍

Really pleased with the service from Paul from start to finish. The carpets look great and great value as I was on a budget. Thank you 🤩

I would highly recommend Great Choice Flooring for carpet cleaning. Admittedly the hall carpet was in a really bad state, but Great Choice Flooring did an awesome job carpet came up as good as new, didn't take long to dry, and just a fresh energy to the whole hallway. Thank you so much Paul. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Thank you so much to Paul for the brilliant job he did of cleaning our carpets! Prompt, polite & professional. The carpets came up like new - amazing! Such a good thing to do in donating some of your profit to Mikey dog Rescue too.🙏👌

Paul did a wonderful job of cleaning our carpets, they look like new after tons of building work ( that girt, dirt, ground in dust from plastering and big muddy footprints) and a couple of stains were removed too. We are very pleased - the carpets smell amazing and dried within the day. It feels so much fresher and lighter. A friend even asked if we had new carpets! He is so polite, considerate and I highly recommend his work.

I was really impressed with Great Choice Flooring from my first telephone contact with Paul until the job was finished. Laminate flooring was laid in my kitchen and the carpets cleaned throughout the house. Paul gave excellent advice and made the whole process seamless and stress free. All the work was carried out to a very high standard and in a timely manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending Great Choice Flooring to family and friends. In short good old fashioned customer service and fairly priced.

The best - Paul knows everything about carpets and flooring, how to clean them, maintain them, remove stains etc - I learnt more about the difference between wool and manmade carpets than I’ve ever known, now I know what to do and what not to do. He’s a real master of his trade, our carpets came up beautifully and wow, he’s thorough! Fantastic value, the highest recommendation, I’ll never use anyone else.

An amazing service from start to finish! . Paul and his team were professional, informative, friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

Great experience, he came round with loads of samples, and listened to what we wanted, found it, the fitter did a great job, he was in and done in no time! Would recommend! A+

Once again we asked Paul to fit our carpets and once again he and his team did a fab job, we are over the moon with the finished article. We would recommend him to anyone.

I ordered LVT and carpet for my daughter’s flat and was so happy I called Paul back for carpets for my own home. I had a carpet sample and Pail went above and beyond to find the carpet for me. He is always on time and communicates really well. Also really happy with the pricing. You won’t be disappointed

Had 3 rooms carpeted by Paul and his team. Amazing team effort and worked so hard. Love the carpets - they look and feel great. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting new flooring and I will definitely be using you again. Thank you all so much.

Very pleased with the carpets and kitchen flooring. Good helpful friendly service throughout

Great personal service! From enquiry to fitting only took 10 days. Competitively priced and left everything neat and tidy. Will be recommending to family and friends.

Paul was extremely helpful, organised the flooring we wanted plus fitting for what turned out to be a less than simple job. Rich (who fitted the flooring) was fast and did so with no fuss. Would recommend every time.

What a great service! The whole process of having my kitchen flooring replaced was smooth and easy! Thanks so much we really love the end result! I will recommend as a reliable and trustworthy team!

Paul & Great Choice Flooring were recommended to me. Paul came to us, measuring up and giving us options within a few days of enquiring. We were booked in for fitting quickly and were delighted with the results, our new flooring looks great. A high standard service from Paul & Rich the fitter who had the whole downstairs complete in just a few hours.

The service, communications, and expert advice were all first class. Always on time and adjusted his schedule at short notice to meet my needs. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the carpet, it’s fitting and the trimming of the doors. An expert team who are clean, tidy, respectful and true professionals

I by chance got to meet Paul to do my lounge stairs and bedroom! I was over the moon with results it looked brand new! I highly recommend his business 😍👍😃

Another fantastic job by Paul. Dirty carpets cleaned and look as good as good as new. All the dirty marks gone! Thrilled.

Paul and the team and fantastic. We have used them many times now and always they delivery the best service. Thank you again and will always recommend and use your services. Thank you

So pleased with the whole experience of getting our kitchen floor fitted. Paul turned up with a selection of his range and explained all the pros and cons of different floors. Once we were confident of our choice, Paul arranged everything for us. The fitters arrived like clockwork and worked so hard for a day and we were amazed at the transformation. Thank you so much for all your hard work. So today, our house was given such a wonderful makeover by Paul and Mikey....such wonderful workmanship with great attention to detail. I would use Great Choice every time for flooring, the advice Paul gave us initially with our carpet consultant and then the subsequent service we received was second to none. Thank you Paul and Mikey for being so fantastic.

I had an excellent experience with this Great Choice Carpets and their fitters. From start to finish, the service was great. The selection of carpets was impressive, and the team provided great recommendations based on my preferences and budget. The fitters were punctual, professional, and efficient, completing the installation with meticulous care. The final result is absolutely stunning – my home feels transformed! I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for quality carpets and exceptional fitting services. A truly seamless and enjoyable experience!

Fantastic service from start to finish. Paul and his fitter Mike are a pleasure to do business with and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone who requires quality workmanship.

Paul made a great job of cleaning our carpets today ! Especially removing all the marks from our teenage girls - make up mostly! Would highly recommend great choice carpets !

Highly professional company, excellent quality and value and friendly, courteous fitters. I highly recommend!

Paul is as so helpful and listened to what I wanted in my flat. He even came and fitted the first couple of carpets whilst I was abroad which was so lovely to come home to! I then had another carpet laid and Paula be his team were flexible, on time, tidy and quick! I am so happy with my new carpets and would highly recommend them for any flooring needs!!

Absolute pleasure start to finish nothing was too much of an ask for Paul. Also advised us the correct route to go with all the choices. Turned up when agreed finished in a day and left clean and tidy Also took a lot of care round fresh paint and woodwork as I was worried from a past experience. Would definitely recommend to everyone

Fantastic service from start to finish, Paul has been brilliant, we had to change a couple of dates and nothing was any issue. The service carried out is brilliant, we won’t be using anyone else from now on, if your local definitely give Great Choice Flooring call, you won’t regret it. Thank you.

Great service with sound advice regarding damaged carpet replacement. Nothing was too much bother in helping us select carpet - this involved 2 home visits with samples etc. measurements taken and on the spot quotation. Confirmation and scheduled appointment for fitting given next day. Everything happened as scheduled, furniture moved, old carpet plus underlay all removed and new all fitted. Very efficient and clean team. Furniture all put back in the right places. Thoroughly recommend GREAT CHOICE FLOORING for quality, service and cost.

Great choice of products and lovely to see the samples in our home. Paul is very knowledgeable and has a very good choice of flooring. Very efficient service from start to fitting. Very pleased& highly recommended. Thank you

Quick easy service, great fitting. Would highly recommend 👍

I recently had the pleasure of ordering our carpets from Paul, who not only supplied top-quality carpets but also provided excellent fitters for the job. From the moment I contacted him, Paul was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, helping me choose the perfect carpet for my home. The fitters he sent were just as impressive—punctual, highly skilled, and meticulous in their work. The entire process was seamless, and the results are absolutely stunning. I couldn’t be happier with the service and craftsmanship. If you're looking for both well priced, high-quality carpets and expert fitting, I highly recommend Paul and his team!

Always amazes me the quality of carpet for the cost. Carpet fitters are polite and very tidy. Will continue to use and recommend Paul for my flooring needs without a doubt.

We will never use a big carpet company again. Thanks to Paul for making the carpet and vinyl choice so easy. Customer care and service was exceptional communicating constantly with updates re the order and very happy to book the fitting date when convenient to us. Dan the fitter was very friendly and professional and did a great job. He also took away all the waste which other companies don't do. 5 stars all the way.

Paul was very friendly and helpful with the options, very happy with the result and the level of communication

Excellent service and quality of work. Paul the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, offering you a wide range of choices to suit your needs My whole house has been done. All downstairs with LVT. My stairs, landing and three bedrooms all carpeted. And finally my new bathroom has a lovely new flooring too. Dan the fitter is very friendly, works clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Not happy at all with the carpet and the carpet fitter, regards to carpet gripper nail as stepping on stairs I can feel the nails even I have told the guy to give me a quality carpet the guy have come down and push all the nails on the stairs but I still feel the gripper nails as walking the stairs I can feel on my toe mostly so check it after they fitted it ,and the carpets are bubbling

Another great service from Paul and his team. From the first call to providing samples and advice to laying the flooring everything was fantastic. The cleaning service was exceptional too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paul and would definitely use his services again.

Very pleased with great choice carpet . Paul is very pleasant and helpful and the carpet fitters were brilliant knew there job very clean and tidy up as they went along . Would always recommend Paul great choice flooring

Paul, Dan and Stu are such an amazing talented skillful team!!! From day one they worked so hard. They are very professional and perfectionists! I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you all for making our house come back to life again. Its looking so beautiful!

I have been dealing repeatedly with Great Choice for over 20 years, for both carpet cleaning and new installs, service is always excellent, professional and competitive, appointments are always on time and I recommend them as a first and preferred point of contact to other people whom I deal with. Prices are always clear and agreed and notified in advance. They are on our recommended supplier list and always the preferred source for flooring and carpet cleaning Highly recommend

A really good service from Paul and the carpet fitters . From delivery of samples to delivery and fitting of carpet , excellent and friendly service throughout. House built in 1730 so access was not easy and not a strait wall either . I would recommend .

Cannot recommend Paul highly enough.Fitted new bedroom carpet.Always on time superb fitting and always very competivly priced.I have recommended him to so many of my friends -some hotel owners and always delighted with superb fitting and attention to detail.Fitting done and always discusses room dimensions with you and wide variety of carpets.Paul even helped me remove hall carpet and store carpet as I had to have year old carpet lifted as has central heating being installed retrospectively. He went to great effort to refit and get carpet good as new.!

Recently had carpet fitted in 2 bedrooms, stairs and landing and vinyl for bathroom. Having 2 young children it was so helpful that Paul brings everything to you and can choose in the convenience of your home. The fitters we had were very pleasant and helpful and made sure it was all tidy and hoovered before they left. Highly recommend Great Choice Carpets.

We’re absolutely thrilled with the quality flooring laid in our kitchen and bathroom by Great Choice Flooring. Paul provides a first class service showing samples in your home and he is willing to research and order alternative samples if needed. He has the patience of a saint! Paul provided literature about fitting from the outset and his advice has been valuable to the point of recommending a delay of purchase until works in an adjoining room have been completed. The fitters are spot on, polite and very considerate in your home. My initial concern about new kitchen and bathroom units etc being scuffed was unfounded and the finished product looks great which has been noted by friends. Overall - great team, quality flooring and service. Thank you all!

Thanks Paul and your team for a great job. Carpets and underlay fitted in 3 bedrooms and study, vinyl flooring in bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Excellent job especially in difficult shaped kitchen. Couldn't be more pleased with the service from start to finish. Bringing samples to the house really helped us make the right choices and at much cheaper prices than the shops. Other members of our family have used Great Choice Carpets too - we all thoroughly recommend.

We have used Paul the carpet man for many years.Paul is a professional, friendly honest gentleman. The fitters he uses work to a high standard and are very pleasant. The pricing and personal service he offers work well for busy people and who don’t want to spend days trailing around the shops. We have recommended Paul to friends, who have also been very happy with his services. I would not hesitate to recommend him highly.

Excellent service by Paul and his fitters. They completed our hall, stairs and landing with no problems, at a competitive price and to high standard. Arrived on time, always courteous and completed the job quickly and without fuss.

Sadly I need to leave a negative review, which I have never done for a business before. The fitting of our recent carpet and vinyl was atrocious. The pile goes the wrong way on the stairs, the carpet is bubbling and fraying throughout and our vinyl was big and bubbling. Another local carpet fitter spent 2 hours trying to correct the work we received, sadly he could only do so much. The woodwork was damaged in each room. Unfortunately the owner of this company, although initially seemed friendly turned as soon as I asked for the mistakes to be rectified. We have not been offered any compensation or money back for this. Avoid if possible. There is many other carpet companies in the area who will be more than happy to help you.

Have used this firm a few times now and they are always superb. Price, quality and professionalism all top drawer. They were really helpful with advice and and the fitter was really helpful in moving furniture. Highly recommended

Paul at Great Choices has done it again! Great quality carpet at fantastic prices with speedy service & fitting (great job Dan!). We wouldn’t get carpets from anyone else - thanks!!

Until I heard about Great Choice Flooring I did not know that mobile carpet services existed. What a discovery! I was trying to match a new stair and landing carpet to existing carpet, and Paul brought in loads of carpet samples so I could lay them down in situ and check them out in different lights. That would normally have entailed many trips to the carpet shop. Once the carpets were uplifted we had to have some work done on the floorboards before the new carpet could be laid, and Paul was very helpful and flexible in working his timings around that. Our fitters Amber and Charlotte arrived bang on time and worked like Trojans for over four hours on the hottest day of the year. It was not an easy job because the floor was not level, but Amber used her expertise to even things out, and the end result is superb. We are so pleased with our new carpet. The price was excellent too. I highly recommend Paul and his team, and will go back to him myself next time I need new flooring.

The entire process start to finish was seemless. Paul was immediately out on the same day I made contact for a quote, and spent over an hour carefully discussing my ideas and showing me samples. My driving factor was they were alot cheaper than high street chains. Booking the job was extremely easy and professional, I had to move the date which was made very easy by Paul. The day of the carpet fitting was faultless too, the fitting of the carpet was extremely well done with alot of attention to detail. The team were very understanding, clean and accommodating to issues. Paul was a pleasure to work with, always at the end of the phone. I would highly recommend!

Excellent customer service, quality carpets and great fitting service. Paul is the most genuine and helpful person, nothing is too much trouble and he goes out of his way to ensure the customer is happy. I would not hesitate to use again and have already recommended him to others. Thanks Paul!

A wonderful job carried out for me by Great Choice. Carpets fitted to a whole house, looks really good and exceptional quality and value.

From the first phone call to book an appointment to the fitting of the carpets, the service was faultless. Paul acknowledged my request by text and called when he said he would. Every time and date was delivered 100%. The quality of the carpet is excellent and the price was very competitive. This is the second time we have used Paul and highly recommend this service.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new carpet. Paul is very friendly and knowledgeable and has a great selection of excellent quality carpets and underlay at fantastic prices. The fitters were friendly and professional and did a superb job. Very happy customer, would highly recommend and would definitely use Great Choice Carpets in the future

I messaged a couple of companies and Paul Carpet Man was quick to respond, popped in the next day with samples and fitted less than a week later. Paul was pleasant and patient with my indecisiveness. The fitters that came were a delight. The floor is fantastic, I love it but the service was even better. Thanks Paul Carpet Man, you couldn’t have made it an easier process. Oh and by the way, the quote came back under what was expected to!

Great service, speedy, helpful, friendly, an excellent job. I highly recommend this company. 👍

I was left 'as high as a kite'....but I settled sitting at the top of my stairs, just looking at my new plush carpet! It's been a week and I don't want to return my furniture on it! .. as I've been floating on it all week! It was the worst of jobs (hall, stairs and bathrm), on the hottest day - but the team pulled it off with edgings and details that I never even thought of. And thanks Paul for making it so painless a decision with choice of carpet and the price!

2nd time of using Great Choice Flooring Paul listened to what I wanted made suggestions in the right place and now v happy with new carpet even putting me in touch with door trimmer. Thanks Paul

Thanks to Paul and the team at great choice who have just fitted a new carpet in our daughters bedroom. This is the third carpet they have fitted for us and as always there was plenty of choice, the carpets are great quality and are reasonably priced. The fitters were prompt and did a top job and left the room spotlessley clean when they had finished. We'll be using them again.

Paul, Dan and Matt were absolutely brilliant. Arrived on time, were friendly and polite and were respectful of my working from home and keeping the noise to a minimum when asked. They did a really fantastic job in my lounge and hallway, the hallway was a tricky space to work with but the end result is brilliant. A very happy customer, would highly recommend.

Great service, highly recommend.

Really pleased with my new carpet and looking forward to getting my next one. Great service!

Can't recommend Paul at Great Choice enough. He was very friendly and fully knowledgeable about what would be best to suit my needs. The measuring and pricing didn't take long. The fitters and door trimmer all arrived at the correct time. The fitters were happy to move all the large furniture for me (I am slightly disabled), as I had asked before hand. You pay the full amount for the carpet up front, which is always a worry, but Paul delivered with no problems. He kept me informed of when carpet ordered, arrived and exact times were confirmed for fitting. As soon as fitters left, Paul phoned me to make sure I was happy with everything. Brilliant service.

I was really happy with the carpet I received from Great Choice Flooring and it was fitted nicely by Paul as well. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic service, they go above and beyond. The team is super friendly, helpful and extremely hard working they are more than happy to explain the process and discuss it all with you to ensure that your more than happy with the work. The products are top quality a great range to choose from, no hidden costs and extremely good value for money.

Very polite fitters, explained what they would do and in which order, as requested. Literally went the extra mile and back

Hi Paul, Many thanks for the excellent service you(&the fitters today) gave. The carpets look lovely,&we can now look forward to moving in. We shall certainly be back to you when we're ready to carpet the stairs&landing. Regards Simon

Prompt and efficient supply and fit of our new office carpets. I couldn't recommend highly enough for price, quality and level of service. Good Job Great choice.

Great Choice by name and nature! Paul helped us chose the right carpet for our youngests bedroom. The colour was matched to image provided. Carpet feels soft and well made, fitter was friendly and chatty and clearly good at his chosen profession. Highly recommended for a honest and professional service.
